I was really looking forward to staying at Be Live Adults Only Tenerife, but unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The food was very disappointing—repetitive every day and not up to a decent standard. I found it quite unappetizing.
The cleanliness of the room also left much to be desired. It didn’t feel properly cleaned during our stay, which made it uncomfortable. Left tip (5-7euro)each time to get a decent clean but I didn't even get mopped floors. Beside making beds and removing old towels you don't get vacuuming, dusting, nothing. Had 2 massive spider webs on the ceiling and was still there after 3 times cleaned. On top of that, the hotel itself feels outdated and in need of serious renovation.
It could be a lovely place with the right improvements, but sadly, it did not live up to expectations.
All inclusive guest receive cocktails from dispenser, colourless, flavourless and no decoration. Paid ones are in glass container and decorated

This is my favorite hotel in Puerto de la Cruz. Great location next to bus exchange, hyper dino, walking distance to beach. And ADULT ONLY! No screaming kids, pool usually empty or just a couple of people. Fantastic breakfast and dinner with huge selection and friendly staff. And in the evening there are some music or events daily. If you are Lucky you can meet Michael Jackson :-)
I love this hotel!

Rooms remember better times. Hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Card to my room stoped working two times during week stay. With 3 elevators one doesn't work at all, one stops at random floor and jams. Only one working properly. Food is ok, not very great but you won't walk around hungry. Staff is great, everything you need will be provided in a blink of an eye

We arrived around midnight, and I was pleasantly surprised to find someone at the front desk ready to help us. Check-in was quick, smooth, and the staff member gave us all the relevant information we needed for our stay—including a little info sheet we could refer to later. After a long travel day, this kind of efficiency is always appreciated.
Our room was small but functional—definitely not the largest, but clean and equipped with everything we needed: a bed, bathroom, wardrobe, and mini-fridge. Housekeeping came daily, which was a big plus, as long as you remembered to hang the “clean my room” sign on the door.
The pool area was one of the better parts of the hotel. It’s large, well-kept, and surrounded by plenty of sunbeds—though I strongly recommend reserving one with your towel before breakfast, as they fill up fast (a typical resort tactic, but worth noting).
They also have recreational options like pool tables, air hockey, and table tennis, which is great.
This hotel is very clearly aimed at Spanish guests. While that’s not inherently a bad thing, it does mean that entertainment and activities are largely conducted in Spanish, and the offerings for international guests are pretty limited.
Entertainment was short-lived, usually around 45 minutes per evening, and while we didn’t expect full-blown Vegas shows, a bit more variety and energy would have been nice. Daytime activities were minimal, and there’s not much of a social or party vibe if that’s what you’re after.
Here’s where things took a dip. As a non-picky eater, I didn’t expect much—but even then, I struggled to find meals I genuinely enjoyed. On some days, I ended up with just plain pasta and chips, which is far from ideal. However, if you’re a fish lover, you’ll be in your element—they serve it frequently.
Unfortunately, many of the reviews I’d read beforehand were accurate: the food is often cold and stale. Heated plates help a little, but they don’t fix the problem. The buffet options lack variety and excitement, and vegetarians or those with dietary needs may really struggle here.
Now onto a slightly more positive note—the alcoholic drinks. I had read claims that the drinks were watered down, but I can confirm that is definitely not true. In fact, the drinks were strong, sometimes too strong!
That said, the cocktails were a letdown—overly sweet and not well mixed. My partner, however, was happy to find San Miguel on tap, which was a welcome surprise.
The all-inclusive bar closes at 11PM, but you can still buy drinks until midnight, which is a good option if you want a late-night drink.
Puerto de la Cruz is a quaint and quieter part of Tenerife, especially compared to the busy south. But be aware—if you’re looking for nightlife, you won’t find much here.
There’s no real bar scene nearby, and even as a couple not looking to party, we found ourselves with very little to do in the evenings. The local town is charming but dominated by fish restaurants, which again isn’t ideal for everyone.
We booked several excursions, but they all took place in southern Tenerife, meaning we had to endure two-hour transfers each way—worth it for the day trips, but a bit exhausting after a while.
Service across the board was… okay. Staff were polite and professional, but they didn’t go out of their way to make you feel special or looked after, which you sometimes get with better all-inclusive resorts. Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either.
But if you’re expecting an international, tourist-friendly vibe with good food, lively surroundings, and excellent service, this probably isn’t the place. There are better options in Tenerife for similar prices, especially if you’re willing to stay in the south (like Costa Adeje or las Américas).
It’s not terrible, but it’s very average. With a few tweaks (especially to the food and inclusivity of activities), this hotel could be much better. Until then, I’d say do your research and weigh your expectations—this hotel suits Spanish families and locals more than international tourists.

The hotel was good, the entertainment ok, I didn’t watch that much of it as it was in a separate room to the main bar area. The pool area was large, plenty of sun beds with mattresses. The bar service was good.
The food was a let down by the fact that it wasn’t always hit, very often just Luke warm, however there was plenty of it and a good variety.
