We spent 4 nights at this gorgeous hotel at the end of April.
We arrived and were greeted by Rene at reception, such a lovely chap who made us feel welcome from the offset. From the moment we met him we knew we had picked a good hotel.
We stayed in a suite, which was very spacious with his and her bathroom.
Hotel was lovely and clean, breakfast offered both full english and continental with the chef on hand to freshly prepare eggs cooked to order. Free prosecco with breakfast too which was delightful.
There was some building work going on just behind the hotel but the noise had stopped by mid-day and didn't bother us too much.
You can pay for a late checkout at 7.5 euros per hour. There are otherwise showers round the pool and a spacious toilet /changing area.
There are limited sunbeds around the pool and the pool did not open until 9am. Some days there were beds available all day, other days they were full.
Only downside is that there is a smoking area right next to the pool. We unfortunately chose sunbeds next to this area one day and had to endure the stench of cigarettes all day. This is something the hotel should address.
We would definitely stay here again (avoiding the smoking area)

Beautiful little hotel. We stayed in room 507 and it’s been absolutely brilliant. Staff are lovely, hotel is very clean and relaxing. If you are looking for adults only hotel I definitely recommend Vanilla Garden. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you to all the staff!!

Let me start by saying that our welcome to the hotel was excellent for our 7 day stay. We were greeted by the friendliest lady. I didn't get her name, but she made our welcome amazing. Long blonde hair originally from Belgium. She greeted us with a glass of Prosecco. A big shout out to Rafu who made every morning he worked a great start to the day. The cleaning people were also amazing, so thank you.
Pros: location was easy to get to, and situated by grocery stores, restaurants, shops, and the beach. The property is maintained very well with beautiful plants.
The rooms are average nothing elaborate, but having a balcony was really nice. To operate safe, you will need to pay 18€ for a week or 3€ a day. Well worth it for a piece of mind. The beds and pillows are okay. To me they felt like two steps up from a pull out sofa mattress (in my opinion). Could be different in a suite.
Pool: Sun beds and pool were wonderful. Happy hour from 4-5 at the bar. You can rent large towels from the front desk for a deposit of 10€ a piece. There is a 2.50€ fee for a clean replacement.
Food: Breakfast was good. Dinner another story. Theme night was not like their commercials. If you are a foodie, I do not recommend. Not included are drinks including water. Definitely not a renowned French chef. French fries, onion rings, broccoli, cauliflower, cheeses, same salads or make your own. Show casing was a joke. Two proteins offered a night. Fish, hamburger, pork offered nothing else on plate.

Great hotel: clean and spacious room, bathroom and balcony, good beds, very friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast buffet is good (especially the freshly prepared eggs/omelets by the very friendly "egg-chef"); dinner buffet is a little dissapointing ( but many nice restaurants in the near proximity).
Unfortunately, beds at the swimming pool are occupied/reserved with towels in advance, e.g. during breakfast, while remaining empty for a long time. Why does the hotel allow - and thereby stimulate - this anti-social behaviour? Simply prohibit placing a towel on a swimming-pool bed in advance, period!

Have just returned from a weeks holiday in the vanilla garden with my disabled wife and daughter and son in law and can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. Rooms were spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. The pool area is a very nice area to relax and soak up the sun. We were half board and found the food very nice and dinner every night had a different theme. They had live entertainment every night which was mostly enjoyable but then we all have different tastes. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and always cheery. This hotel suited our needs due to my wife’s reduced mobility as there was ramps everywhere you required to go within the hotel and it’s grounds. A true jewel in the crown, we have already rebooked.
