I had a lovely stay at this hotel! The staff was warm and welcoming throughout our visit, but a special shoutout goes to the chef who prepared breakfast omelets. Not only were the omelets absolutely perfect, but his cheerful personality truly lit up every morning.
The hotel itself is clean and tastefully decorated. While it’s not the newest, it’s very well-maintained. If you’re planning to lounge by the pool all day, be aware there’s some nearby construction that could disrupt the peace. However, since we spent most of our days exploring, this didn’t bother us at all.
Do note that there’s live music in the evenings until 10:00 PM, so if you prefer an earlier night’s sleep, it’s something to consider.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay!

Very nice hotel. The hotel was clean throughout. The buffet breakfast was very nice and good a selection. The cocktails at the pool bar were really good. All staff very polite and helpful to our needs. The bars are in walking distance but the hotel is so quiet at night and couldn't hear any noise, so a good comfy sleep every night. The balcony was very private (view of outside hotel) Would recommend vanilla garden to anyone staying in Tenerife.

The hotel is nice, the swimming pool is nice and heated. However, next to the hotel is currently a building construction site. Not their fault of course but it would be nice to mention this during check in at least.

Beautiful boutique hotel, went half board, plenty of options with food both at breakfast and evening meal. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Lots of steps to get down to pool if your room is near reception.
Just 5 mins walk from the front and Veronica strip.
Construction at rear of hotel (not in hotel) near where pool situated, could here noise but did not disturb us too much, could not here from room however we were the opposite side of hotel near reception

We had a lovely experience at Hotel Vanilla garden.
Firstly we were greeted by Pedro at reception who gave us welcome drinks and advised us on how to get to our room.
When we entered the room we were pleasantly surprised by the size, the cleanliness and the comfort of the room.
The bathroom was clean and of a good size and as was the balcony
The pool area is fantastic, with music playing quietly through the day.
Sunbeds are comfortable too and the jacuzzi around the corner is a nice touch.
The DJ set and pool party on Wednesday and Saturday was also a nice touch.
Bar staff are all friendly and can’t do enough to help.
There are 2 aspects of the hotel which resulted in a star being lost.
First one is the selection of food. Although 90% of what is available is tasty and good quality, a couple nights we struggled to find anything we fancied due to the small amount of choice available (small buffet area) and so we ate out a couple times. The breakfast sausages also weren’t great and the bacon and fried eggs are only available from the show cooking counter.
This didn’t massively impact us and we were still mostly happy with the food.
The last point (although I believe the area was having some water supply issues at the time so this could be the reason) was that the pressure from the rainfall shower was awful and the temperature was difficult to get right, so I ended up using the handheld shower most of the time.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it’s amazingly quiet for its location and everyone here is lovely.
I would definitely come back to this hotel without hesitation and if you’re looking for an ideal place to stay in playa de las Americas without all the noise, this is the place.
