More of a hotel resort than just an hotel. Surrounding area is a concrete jungle like most over developed December sunspots.
But hotel and staff are excellent - cannot be faulted in my opinion.
Hotel refurbished over summer 2024 and so is pristine throughout

This hotel was perfect for my good friend who is from out of the country and had not been to Spain. He was treated with the upmost respect, the rooms were clean, the service was very friendly many thanks to Jacob for great aqua gym and customer service . My friend and me enjoyed the city, which was a 5 minute walk away. And we felt very safe going there. The reception there, was exceedingly helpful, kind, and efficient in helping us with the check in matter many thanks to Lisa. The only issue was lack of food variety . As part of my job, I travel around the world, and I was very impressed with AluaSoul Costa Adeje!

I felt the need to write a review as it’s newly renovated it could be useful. I think the other comments that it’s a mid range 4 star is quite accurate.
The areas that have been renovated are lovely, the initial frontage, reception, lounge area and bar are lovely and stylish. Pool was great sunbeds nice despite being plastic and the main photo of the newly opened hotel shows posh wooden ones (so bit cheeky really). Pool lovely, it’s a simple pool but just right to cool off when you’re sunbathing. Pool bar is nice to have, food wasn’t good at all but we enjoyed a beer etc.
Breakfast we thought was excellent, they change things up a little each day and never waiting, loved freshly fried eggs. Only improvement would be fresh orange juice as the juices were not nice. Also for anyone going, the black coffee is bean to cup but the cappuccino isn’t, it’s like sachet coffee and doesn’t come from the beans. I wish I discovered the espresso was nice coffee sooner. Also poached eggs be nice but that’s being fussy.
Room was lovely, large, air con worked very well, everything you needed. We had superior double. The daily cleaning was excellent and cleaners very nice and considerate. Agree that the lack of ventilation in bathroom is a bit of an issue but we left door open and opened balcony door.
Evening entertainment was high quality I thought, singers excellent. We don’t usually watch entertainment but we’d come back after an evening out and hear it and enjoyed it so much we stayed, some better than others ofcourse but was nice to have, enjoyed a wine or a late night whisky whilst watching them.
Location is fantastic. We surf so you perfectly between las americas for surfing and also walking distance to fanabe and playa del duque which is a lovely beach. We found nice restaurants between 5-20min walk each evening.
My main issues/ thoughts are that the areas that have been renovated are quite a different style to the old hotel parts so you really recognise the parts that feel not done and a bit empty so I think it needs a little further investment. Some drinks were bad, my Aperol spritz particularly awful (made with cava not Prosecco and soda water stale). Also the gym is terrible, the weights are what you put on a bar without a bar 😂. The running machine shook and the chain on the rower was rusty. The gym is fine, painted, good flooring and mirrors so I think they’ve just put the old equipment in and hopefully they will renew them as I would have loved to go daily.
However the room, the location and the breakfast would make me return to this hotel. If they just improved a few things and the reception staff a little more welcoming it be great.
