An older hotel, and perhaps a little tired in places, but the staff work hard and always aim to please. Great pool for kids and beach (stony) just outside the grounds, there is also a nicer beach about 5 minutes walk along the shoreline. We did all inclusive and as I haven't done so before, I don't have a benchmark. However, there was never any shortages of food, nor variety over the week we were there. Drinks were a bit of a limited, but more than adequate for me. My only gripe was not being able to get bottled water/tap water after 11pm, so you need to stock up on a few bottles when you get there.

We had a sea view room which was really clean and nice but the walk to get to it was a few hundred metres. We went to breakfast and back and I had done 1700 steps hahah. The pool and gardens were clean and well looked after. The only 'complaint' really was the musty smell in reception and surrounding areas.

The dishes are dirty, the bed linen should be changed every three days, but it was changed after 7 days after three appeals to the administration.

1, The reception was professional ,quick and friendly . We arrived late ,.... a special snack was put aside for the three of us....me ,my wife and five year old son . 2. The room was good ( a little dated ) but clean. The opposite hotel has a noisy generator that kept us awake.....The next day the hotel moved us to an " up graded sea view room " Much appreciated . 3. Food. Cannot fault it at all . Lots of choice VERY TASTY . Shame some guests did not respect the dress code . 4. Nice pool area and ten minute walk to a long sandy beach . 5 . The entertainment at night was good .The Animation team were there if you wanted them but did not bother you if you wanted a quiet restful stay. This hotel is a good four star hotel and would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay here .

The hotel is fantastic, all the staff are very friendly. The gym is a decent standard. The tennis courts look very good. The food generally is good. The sunset from the beach is incredible. It’s unfortunate the beach bar isn’t open later. The rooms are good and beds are. You get delivered to your room on a golf cart with your luggage. If you want premium spirits they are included you just have to ask. It’s about half an hour walk to the nearest town, which is a wash with bars along the shore with good places to eat and drink and everything you could need.

Excellent first holiday as a family here. The staff are very polite and helpful. They always tried to entertain our baby too which was lovely. Especially the cleaner and lady who welcomed you into the main restaurant. We had a shared pool which was amazing with us having a ground floor bungalow. I’d definitely recommend requesting ground floor if you’re paying extra for a shared pool. The place was spotless and everywhere in and around the hotel looked beautiful. The only downfall was I’d say the food isn’t 5*. It was nice, but the individual restaurants weren’t top notch food and the portions were small. We ended up going to the buffet some nights even after a meal. Other than that, would definitely recommend!!!

The hotel has perfect service. My daughter was ill during our stay and the hotel staff was incredibly helpful and nice and ensured that all our needs were taken care of. They provided food service to our room and were able to help us with unexpected health situation even in the middle of the night. Thanks to them we were able to enjoy our stay despite the illness.

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary/honeymoon here and we could not fault our time. The resort is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Maria from the bar at Delphinia pool deserves a special mention, she went out of her way to make our time special! We will definitely be returning and trying out other Mitsis resorts

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were fantastic and very helpful, always smiling. The food was plentiful and always fresh. The rooms were good, the only thing is they could do with a bit of an update but it absolutely did not bother me. If you want somewhere easy, friendly and low key, this is it. Lovely pool, right by the ocean. The girls doing the entertainment were amazing, so much fun.

WARNING WARNING! If you want to enjoy your holiday, DO NOT stay at Royal Monica!! My family and I went to stay here for 6 nights in 2 separate rooms and we arrived in the evening. The following morning, we went for a walk along the beach and when we arrived back in our rooms, we noticed the cleaners have been in. When we checked our wallets which have been out on the table, from one of them a €50 note was missing in one room and from another wallet in our other room, 2 €20 notes were missing. Unsurprisingly, the wallets which have been hidden away had no money missing. When we went to the reception and asked for a manager to put in a complaint about this, we were told the manager isn’t there and so we told what happened to the receptionist and he was very rude and laughed in our faces whilst telling us to go to the police as he trusts the cleaners to never do something like this. We weren’t the only ones there that needed to talk with the police as we saw the police at the hotel on 2 separate occasions speaking with people staying there and on one of the occasions the lady speaking with them was crying and left the hotel not long after, so clearly we weren’t the only ones having a terrible experience. We saw cockroaches multiple times whilst staying here as well. We saw them inside of our rooms and also one time whilst we were eating in the dining room, a cockroach was crawling on my mum’s shoulder. The food was horrendous at Royal Monica. The food available was repetitive, almost the same foods every day and on top of that, they were serving raw meat a lot of the time as the chicken and beef weren’t cooked enough. The chefs are also very unhygienic as we saw them cooking the pancakes and fried eggs on the same grill with the same utensils, this ended up with some of the eggs having a layer of pancake stuck to the bottom which was disgusting, there was also egg shells in the fried eggs. They definitely also used the same knife to cut vegetables and fruits as the watermelons tasted like onions. Dessert was also horrible as the cake they put out was fully frozen, it was hard to even cut the cake and you could see the ice inside of the cake! There is supposed to be entertainment at the pool bar every day like at most other hotels but even though they say they put on entertainment, there is nothing at the pool bar for entertainment other than football on the TV. We were all so excited for this holiday but it was the biggest disappointment of our lives and we do not recommend this hotel at all, please stay away!

Just spent a week at the resort. Very mixed feelings about the experience, having read the reviews before we arrived we were very sceptical. Some of the points we read were 100% accurate and can’t disagree with. Good location to be fair and the weather was glorious and the view from the pool area is stunning, sea is hard to swim in as currents around the rocky shore is strong and isn’t an easy walk to the sea. Swimming pool was freezing most days one of the days it was bearable to get in but it was the warmest day. Pool bar always quick to get drinks and waiters come and clear the empty glasses fairly quickly. Food was not good, very limited choice and very repetitive, seem to cater for the French and German guests over the English. Lunch was probably the best choice of food and quality. Breakfast isn’t English either and not even similar so went to bills 10 minute walk up the road ( breakfast there was insane ) and only €5 for a full English. Most of the staff were pleasant but there were a few that were rude and abrupt. They talk to you if you are French Spanish or German not very friendly to the English. The evening entertainment ( well if you can call it that ) is not worth wasting your evening going too, always late to start, no organization at all very very amateur at best, it was error after error on every night we went. Again if your French Spanish or German they engage with you other wise no, and when they do quizzes they tell you the answers in either French or Spanish. Very very heavily French and German and Spanish populated and found these people very rude and arrogant and just found them staring at the English all the time, the French stood out to me as being intolerable and no consideration for anyone else, its put me off even wanting to visit France. Rooms are clean and beds comfy and we had a nice terrace area on the ground floor which is a bit dated but we found the room fine. Only saw 1 cockroach on our terrace the whole time saw more little geckos than anything else, oh yeah and the local hedgehogs! It’s a cheap and cheerful hotel really don’t expect luxury. For us it was the people really who spoilt it in a way and also the food and staff. Location and weather were the really positive points and meeting some friendly English people too. Oh and a special mention to Katarina who does the car hire she was really nice and gave us a good deal on our mini convertible for 2 days. Also don’t get taxis from the hotel as they are perverts and make you feel very uncomfortable. 2/5 for hotel experience 5/5 for making our holiday fun in our own way.

Rooms are basic but it's just a place to put your head down anyway, could not get the air conditioning to work so made do without. Food was good, always something to eat and drink. If you're in the low 1000s room you'll likely get a friendly cat popping around, he likes nothing more than curling up on a lap and going to sleep so look out for the wee fellow. There's another around the poolside bar too. A fantastic week was had at Royal Monica

We went with our two teenage kids 15,17 years old. The family room was not really suitable for us .The rooms and facilities are a bit dated. The whole place could do with a revamp. Rain water ce through the restaurant roof , gutter system just bodghed together. You weren't allowed to take any food or drinks to your rooms. The food was ok, but need to crisp the bacon up as was almost raw. Could do with a fridge or tea making facilities in the room. The entertainment was awful but made you laugh at how bad it was. Didn't go in the pool as it was very cold. The sea was warmer but not easy to get into because of all the rocks. I would probably stay further up the cost at Flamingo Bay if I went again.

I was on the hotel for 7 days! I like the yard, it has bars, a lot of pools! For five stars hotel It has minuses! The rooms are very small for 3 people. The lighting in the rooms was very dim! On to the food It was good, but not perfect. The staff was very good. They were very kind with guests! They did their job very well! In general it was very well! It’s so beautiful! The location is top!

I've never been all-inclusive, but I didn't think it was my kind of holiday But blue bay, you have converted me. We stayed in apartment 3404, rooms clean and spacious beds really comfy Housekeeping... our lady was fantastic thank you for looking after us. Spent a lot of time at the relax pool. Alex the bar man was the best kept the place pours a good beer. Thank you. Food was excellent good choice every day. Serving staff work damn harm. All in all I had a great time.

We stayed there 7 days last week. I loved the environment, everyone seems friendly, specially the staffs. I am leaving this 5 stars review for the friendly environment and one chef who specifically stays front of the dining area, She adores my son so much and I loved that. My son liked her very much, she is the cutest. Everything was very clean and they maintained hygiene properly. The food quality is good.

Great hotel and the staff were amazing. The room was a bit small and we got a two single beds and we can’t push them together as there was electrical outlets in between them. Food was great so much to eat and it changed everyday. With four pools and a private beach area you always could find a sun bed.

The Blue Bay Platinum in Marmaris boasts a modern and clean environment, creating a pleasant atmosphere for guests. The hotel's Relax Pool is a standout feature, offering a serene escape for adults. Special mention goes to Alex, whose exceptional service significantly enhanced our stay. The all-inclusive dining options were satisfactory, providing a decent variety. However, the evening entertainment was inconsistent, with the party night being the clear highlight. Unfortunately, the lack of daily bed linen changes, despite the overall cleanliness of the hotel, was a disappointing oversight. In conclusion, the Blue Bay Platinum offers a comfortable stay with some excellent amenities, but it falls short in certain areas. The hotel's strong points include its modern design, relaxing pool, and friendly staff, particularly Alex. However, the inconsistent entertainment and the need for more frequent bed linen changes detract from the overall experience.

Overall we were happy with our holiday in this hotel. The room was fine, albeit a little dated and could do with some refurbishment, we were a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids) the kids “beds” were the sofa and a pull out bed, not ideal but we pushed them together and the kids loved this idea. We also had an issue with our shower leaking into the bathroom which I have seen on other posts, we did report this and it was attempted to be fixed but to be fair to the hotel I don’t think it can be fixed without changing the door for the shower. The food was hit and miss, some nights very good variety and other nights not so much but I guess that is down to personal taste. There is not a lot of options for kids I would say but again I guess that depends on what your kid would eat. The restaurant doesn’t seem big enough for the amount of guests so it can be a bit busy but the staff keep the tables clean in a very timely manner so it’s not so bad. Pools are fine although in the busier summer months I can imagine it being a bit of a rush to get a lounger. Entertainment at night is good, kids disco at night keeps them happy. We stayed in the Mallorca building which has a great view of the stage from the balcony which is perfect if your kids don’t like loud noises too much like our son. Kids club was fun although we weren’t exactly sure what was happening and when until the second half of our holiday so we missed a lot of activities. The game room is very dated, some of the machines either aren’t on or don’t work, same with the rides in the seating area, the majority of them were off for the whole week we were there. All in all we had a good stay here and we enjoyed ourselves so I would recommend but maybe temper your expectations of a 4 star hotel because in reality I think Eurocalas is more like a 3 star for what you actually get but it is still a good hotel for a family to enjoy a holiday

Food has been amazing best all inclusive we have been too fresh pizzas for lunch we’re our fave and dinner was lush always something for everyone, and I have one fussy boy! Big shout out to animation team who are superb with the kids Chip, Nico Cecilia & jenny (sorry if I’ve missed anyone yous were all awesome!) We will miss you guys! And also Said the bar man knew our drinks after a day we didn’t need to say what we wanted. All staff are so friendly rooms cleaned every single day the house keeping staff do not stop all day and night. Thank you again for an awesome holiday we can’t wait to return next year 🤍 Xxx

For the money it's a 10/10. Wasn't happy with our first room being so high up. We were moved with no issue. Staff helpful. Food good, completely as expected in an all inclusive. No better no worse than previous holidays. Plenty of alcohol options, cocktails included and nice. Loads for kids to do. Loads of sunbeds and umbrellas, never an issue. Some reviews I've previously read are harsh. For the money you get what you pay for. Hotel is maybe a bit dated but it's clean and the staff are good, pools are great. Glad we came.

We recently stayed at the HYB Eurocalas on Mallorca’s east coast and had a mixed experience. The location is convenient if you’re planning to visit nearby attractions like the Dragon Caves and Dino Park, but the coast itself isn’t particularly attractive or easy to access by public transport. Also, Palma de Mallorca is quite a distance away, so if you’re planning to explore the island, you’ll need a car or be ready for long transfers. This hotel is definitely geared towards families who tend to stay on the property. The food selection is repetitive, and after three days, we were ready for a change. However, the evening entertainment is decent, though the kids’ disco lacks behind the variety we’ve seen in other family resorts. The hotel’s facilities are quite worn, and it’s clear that many of the attractions are over a decade old, giving the place an overall dated feel. The primary guests here seem to be families from the UK, which shapes a lot of the programming and food choices. On the positive side, the stay was affordable, so we felt we got what we paid for. Overall, it’s a decent budget choice, but I’d recommend it mainly for families looking for a simple, budget-friendly vacation without too many expectations.

We spent 7 nights all inclusive with my 3 year old son. I can’t fault it at all. When we were away it was my sons birthday and they had kindly left a lovely note and some special cakes to wish him a happy 3rd birthday. Lots of choice of foods, fresh fruit and plenty drinks choice. Absolutely 10/10. And I most certainly will be back . Even down to the pools , park and mini club.

I came for a solo holiday in September and despite the reviews I was pleasantly surprised! The staff were very friendly, the accommodation you couldn’t fault at all, they kept everything clean and tidy inside and out! Plenty of sun beds and outdoor seating, swimming pools were clean and looked after! The food was perfect every day I couldn’t fault the chefs, they made plenty of food and very friendly! For a small extra free I had a room in the newest hotel and it was lovely! Comfortable beds, working air con, room cleaning! The hotel was just on the sea front, Spar shop 2 minutes walk away, taxis and water taxis right outside the door! I would definitely stay at this hotel again! Thank you so much for restoring my faith in solo travelling!

Holiday is what you make of it and there is honestly nothing wrong with this hotel for you pay for it. People saying the food is crap or the drinks are rubbish.... Sorry nothe food and drinks are perfect for the fact it's a 3 star hotel... If anything the drinks selection is fantastic considering it's a 3 star

Advertised as beachfront, there is no direct access to the beach from the hotel, it is a coastline rather than a usable beach. Staff rarely smile and although not unhelpful they have not taken any opportunity to be helpful. The views are great from the restaurant and we're staying in Mar Amantis 2 with no views so cannot honestly answer the views question. For families on October week break there is no evening entertainment for the young ones.

This hotel was pretty much what we expected after reading reviews. We are currently here just into the second week of our stay. It was downgraded to a three star after we had booked which was slightly disappointing but we kept an open mind. You basically get what you pay for with this being at the cheaper end for all inclusive for this destination at this time of year. We are a family of 9 with ages ranging from 54 to 2 years old. The hotel consists of two buildings. Amantis 1 and 2 situated across the road from each other. The Amantis 1 is the nicer of them with beachfront location and nicer rooms. I believe you can upgrade on arrival depending on availability and a charge per person per night. We didn’t feel this necessary as we would only be using our rooms for sleeping. Rooms are very basic but maid service comes daily with clean sheets and towels. As with most all inclusive the food can start to become a bit repetitive but we found it is literally the same options almost every day but quite a good selection. Problems we found a lot of the time the hot selections are often not very warm at all. Snack bar however is very good. Excellent service and the guy serving is so quick and very friendly lovely guy. Free ice creams were either cornetto or magnum style which we thought was very good. Drinks all good as well. Both pools are very good only problem is the mad dash to get the beds joining the queue at 9.30 for when they open the pools at 10am. If you’re not there you simply will not get a bed so do bear that in mind. Both pool bars are good but I imagine they will get very busy peak season. Location is brilliant for this hotel. Everything is right there including shops, bars, restaurants and the beach with the small pier directly behind the hotel where you can catch the water taxi across the bay for just 5 Euros each way. Evening entertainment is actually good fun to be fair, we saw flamenco dancers, magicians, bingo, quizzes, disco and singers and karaoke. All in all a pleasant stay. Hotel could do with some redecoration and do also bear in mind that there are a lot of young party people staying here so you have to put up with some noise during the night which we thought was annoying and can disturb your sleep but to be expected with where it is I suppose. I think if you have young children you may want to take this into consideration. Luckily the 2 year old we have is a good sleeper so she managed to sleep through it. Views are lovely across the bay and personally all the good points outweighed the bad here.

We were definitely pleasantly surprised by this hotel! For the star rating and price we paid, it definitely exceeded our expectations! The rooms are very basic, but have everything that you need. The only down side was the beds only being twins and not a double. Other than that, the aircon was brilliant, always clean with fresh bedding and towels every day, balcony with a good view and plenty of space to put our stuff. We were all inclusive and honestly we loved the food here. There wasn’t a single day where we were disappointed. There were lots of options, different themes in the evenings, the staff in the food hall were always so friendly and polite. The pool areas were really good too, we particularly liked the one with the ‘chill out’ area as the beds were so comfy and both pool areas had a bar too! The staff were always so helpful, polite, nothing was ever too much trouble (extra pillows, first aid kit, directions, etc) and as we had a late flight they provided snacks for when we arrived. Loads of options for drinks on the all inclusive too like cocktails, spirits, slushes, soft drinks, different coffees, anything you could want really! The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect for us! There’s a strip of bars, shops and restaurants right next to it, bus stops 3 and 7 minutes walk away to go to the old town and San Antonio, different beach options at walking distance and you could literally see the sunset from wherever you were. It was amazing! Will 100% be returning to this hotel, we were so sad to leave!!

Fab hotel the staff are fantastic and so friendly!! Rooms nice and clean, pool area amazing always lots of sunbeds and lots of activities. Food is great would love a few more veggie options and a bit more variety, was really nice when they had specialities on like tacos and sushi, bit of a queue around 1pm for lunch and 7pm for dinner but drinks machines are everywhere which made the waiting easier! Would definitely come back!

Was a lovely hotel, staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help. Nice quiet location however apart from the beach nothing really around to do. There were a few setbacks for example we wish that there was more variety of food as it was great at lunch as they had different options everyday but come the breakfast and dinner, always the same stuff switching between pork steaks and chicken steaks and everything else stayed the same. That was only the real let down as we felt we were stuck eating the same stuff everyday. The other small issue is that it’s like a wasp city in the Waterpark and the pool side which was annoying but it’s nature can’t do anything about that, overall it was a lovely hotel and staff were lovely. 3/5

Accommodation was superb, staff were knowledgeable and keen to help. The entertainers gave 110% to keep it light, fun and engaging for all involved. Location was perfect with water park attached. Would recommend to families looking for everything in 1 place. Brilliant experience for us and the kids.

Just got back from a family holiday at Minura Sur Menorca. 2 adults 2 children under 3. This hotel was perfect for us. Amazing food , freshly cooked and always being refreshed and a huge variety. Pools are amazing one normal pool and a knee deep baby pool. Loads of sunbeds, a wonderful park on the hotel for kids. A shallow pool for infants which is quite tucked away at the top of the resort. Water park is amazing too, plenty to do for kids. Plenty of sunbeds near the pool so you can see your kids from there, really good slides and lazy river. The hotel is lovely, clean, rooms cleaned every day if wanted, laundrette available, lovely modern lay out. The staff are amazing, especially Samantha who greeted us every morning , helping me with my Spanish! She has such a lovely presence and brings a warm welcome to the hotel and made a huge effort with the children! Thank you Samantha. Will definitely return to this hotel! Highly recommend!
