Lovely clean and well kept hotel mostly for the over 50yr old age group of people (in my option). Our third visit here but the first since major renovations were carried out a few years ago. Pleasant staff, nicely decorated rooms and great pool areas. Amazing views towards the golden strip area and the sea from our seventh floor room. Only stayed B+B but the food was great with plenty of choice for all tastes. Only negatives were the free WiFi which was an absolute pain to set up for our mobiles, and I don’t like the wrist bands that you have to wear incorporating the chip to access your room. Good points were the self service free beer one has access to 10am to 18:30pm every day if you paid extra for the Balance Pool access upgrade, well worth it in my opinion! The nighttime entertainment was very good too with reasonable bar prices. We would definitely stay here again, just remember it’s not really a hotel for young children though. Recommended

We have stayed at Vulcano for years now & always have the best holiday. The UP experience is second to none. Having access to a comfortable sunbed all day, with space around you and nobody right next to you, not having to be at the pool at the crack of dawn to face the 'battle of the sunbeds' and having a variety of areas to choose from means we will never go back to a 'normal' hotel. The UP bar itself is spot on. Breakfast, lunch snacks along with sweet treats mean you can graze all day if you want to. The new addition of the 'hot food' bar is fantastic. The other guests who use the UP bar are also lovely & we always make a few friends!
The 'extras' you get with a 7 night stay also make it worth it. The taxi transfer means a very quick trip to the hotel after landing, with no need to worry about getting cash ready. The massage is always fantastic- Erica gave me a back & neck massage that was perfect. Finally the 'Eat & Fit' meal is one of the best meals of our trip every year.
The staff at the hotel are all friendly & helpful, but a massive special mention to Andrea of the Customer Experience team. She patiently responds to multiple emails with queries, bookings and concerns, and does so quickly with patience and knowledge. She always helps to make our holiday fantastic!
Our only negative is that the most basic option is bed & breakfast. The hotel has a lovely restaurant, with a fantastic selection of great quality food & is better than most hotels I have stayed at before. If you have a big appetite in the morning, it is perfect for you. However, my mum & I are not big breakfast eaters & don't like to eat too early, therefore the breakfast snacks available in the UP bar are more than adequate for us. We did visit the restaurant for breakfast on one occasion, as we had paid for it!, and did not enjoy the experience. The busyness, number of people & noise just doesn't compare to the calm oasis of the UP bar. We always feel quite disappointed that we have to pay for breakfast when we do not want it. I think for UP guests, there should be the option to purchase 'Room Only'.
We will hopefully be back again next year. Sadly the prices increase exponentially each year (the same room/ week/ length of stay is around £500 more than this year!), so it may now be out of our budget, but fingers crossed!

Last day of our holiday. This is an amazing hotel made all the better by the friendly staff especially Minerva (Activities and entertainment coordinator). We've been coming to this resort for the last seven years and this is the first time that we have seen swimming pools with hydraulic chairs to assist disabled people getting in and out of the pool. Top marks to the hotel for this.

Fantastic hotel, great breakfast, hotel staff were great, rooms were cleaned daily with fresh seats.
Pool was very good, although we weren't advised that the infinity pool was €15 euros per day, and rooftop pool was €70 per day.
Location was close to beach and nice bars/restaurants.
Would I recommend this hotel? Yes I feel that it was a good all round hotel, with good amenities, only downside I feel was the lifeguard spent most of his time on his phone, disabled lady was trying to get into the pool and couldn't grab his attention, also children playing in adult only jacuzzi pool.
Other than the above I would be back.

Just back from a week's holiday bed and breakfast.
Staff were spot on very helpful breakfast absolutely fantastic choice heard a few bad reviews of the meals from people we chatted to who ended up eating out, so glad we just took the bed and breakfast.
Staff within the restaurant at breakfast were like ghosts back and forwards cleaning tables removing and dirty plates cups and all were super nice.
We went with the up experience with the infinity pool only ended up going up to that platform a few times as down by the.pool are was really nice more than enough beds for everyone managed to bag the same beds every day, without any fuss.
Lifeguards were pretty on the ball with people using main pool for inflatables and balls telling them that they can only use the other pool, a bit strict sometimes! families in with really small children asked to leave when the kid was holding a tennis sized ball bit harsh but suppose rules are rules.
All in all fantastic hotel super clean and nice Staff what more could you ask for really.
