Fantastic location above a rocky bay.
If you like seascapes & wave noise it's perfect.
Reception staff are nice and helpful.
They're Spanish and speak enough English & German to help the guests
Hallo Hallo
The hotel is a bit older and currently being renovated. The old rooms still have the "Maritim-Flair". The view from the upper floors is amazing. The Dinner is good. The breakfast on the other hand may need some small improvements.
The activities around the hotel are amazing. Thanks to Isaac from the guest animation team for doing such an amazing job to bring joy to the guests. I hope you can pass my kind words to him.
Best regards

The hotel is a bit old and it shows in some areas but it was a very, very solid stay. Staff is immensely helpful and nice, pools are cool. There is a shuttle service to and from Martianez Commercial Center in Puerto de la Cruz which is very useful as hotel is located in beautiful but a bit remote spot (45 minutes walk from city center). Food was ok. Overall good experience.

If you stay here in July / August, it's like staying at a kids summer camp. That's because there is actually a kids summer camp which takes place here, meaning that the gardens will be full of screeching kids all day from Monday to Friday, plus sometimes in the evenings and weekends as well. It's quite clear that the kids are their main interest, rather than paying hotel guests. If you are looking to relax and enjoy the gardens and pools in peace and quiet, you will be out of luck.

The amount we paid for our two-week stay does not correspond to the level of comfort we reasonably expected.
The noise from the renovation works was unbearable. In our room, the intensity of the noise was a nightmare, starting at 8 a.m. Not only was sleeping impossible, but staying in the room during the day to rest was simply out of the question. The noise was also very intense at the pool, in the garden, and still very present at the tennis courts. At the reception, a room change was suggested, but this did not solve the problem at all. We also regret the lack of transparency, as this was not mentioned anywhere on your website when we booked.
In addition, the internet did not work in the room, the curtains were dirty, poorly fixed, and did not close properly (probably because one part was missing). In the bathroom, the shower pipe leaked more water than it delivered for showering. The breakfast was also not at the level that could be reasonably expected.
We tried during our stay and afterwards by email to find a reasonable solution, but the hotel maintained their position. At this point, we are left wondering if they really care about their clients or if we are just another number on their list. Imagine booking a hotel for two weeks (with pool, tennis, and many facilities), and the only answer to the renovation noise is to go further into the gardens to avoid it. The gardens are large, but not so large that the noise would be sufficiently attenuated by Stokes-Kirchhoff law. We are deeply disappointed.
