The food is just a big disappointment. I understand it is all inclusive and I had very low expectations for the food, but is it just worse than expected. What makes this more sad, is that lots of other people comment on the same thing and it feels like the hotel has done nothing to improve the food.
How important is good food? I can live with a bad mean every now and then. But here you eat at the same place 3 times every day for a week. Then food gets really important for your vacation.
Everything else is really great in the hotel. Really nice rooms, great service, good activities. Really well done concept except the food.

Fabulous
The room was stunning with controls for the air-conditioning. The beds were comfortable. The room and linen were very clean, and the fridge in the room was cold.
The hotel is very busy, but the staff still managed to keep it clean, tidy, and maintained, and still had time to be helpful and friendly.
We never had to worry about sunbeds or waiting for drinks as there were plenty of bars and beds to choose from.
Our flight was late into the evening, so we asked for a late checkout, but unfortunately, we couldn't keep the room as the hotel was fully booked, but we were offered the use of a shower and a room to store our luggage so we could still get the most out of our last day on holiday.
We can't wait to stay again!

The resort has a very friendly staff and is spacious, featuring five swimming pools and entertainment for all ages. While the food wasn’t the best and snacks were limited (mostly leftovers from lunch), and ice cream was only available during lunch and dinner, the drinks were plentiful and all-inclusive. The resort is very clean, with spacious bedrooms, and is located in a touristic area of Tenerife, close to a shopping mall and the highway, making it a great base for exploring the island. This review includes more details, pictures, and a video to give you a better sense of the experience. You'll find additional insights on the resort, its amenities, and the overall atmosphere, offering a closer look at what to expect during your stay. Enjoy! 😉

I recently stayed at Hotel Riu Buenavista and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring our check-in was smooth and hassle-free.
The food was consistently excellent, with a wide variety of choices at every meal, catering to all tastes. The buffet always had fresh, delicious options, and the specialty restaurants were a real treat.
Although I’m not disabled, I truly appreciate the effort the hotel puts into providing accessible facilities for everyone. The seating areas and sun beds designated for those with disabilities are such a thoughtful touch, ensuring that all guests can enjoy their stay comfortably.
The pool areas were spotless, and there were always plenty of sun beds available, which is something I value highly on holiday. We never felt crowded, and the whole atmosphere was incredibly relaxing.
Overall, we had a brilliant time and will definitely be rebooking for 2025. I highly recommend Hotel Riu Buenavista for anyone looking for a relaxing and inclusive getaway!

Very clean. Friendly staff. Four restaurants, including Asian and Italian themed (both of which you can book once a week). Good selection of drinks and cocktails. 5 pools including one for small kids and one for adults only. Plenty of beds, I went down around 8.15 each morning and always managed to get 4 together, even though loads already had towels on. Went with 14 and 16yr old sons. Had one outer door and 2 rooms next to each other, each with own front door and balcony, allowing the kids (and us) a bit of independence. Would definitely stay here again.
