We had quite a good experience at this hotel. Staff were all lovely, good location. Food a bit on the plain side but kept well topped up. Rooms deffo need updating. As other reviewers have said, there is no fridge or tea/coffee facilities. I think that the lack of a fridge might be a problem when weather is really hot. We always managed to get a recliner by the pool - the staff actively monitor the unused beds. Pool guard was a bonus.

Nice and clean. We were half board. The breakfast and evening meal was good. The beds are quite firm, too firm for me. A bit outdated. No kettle or fridge in the rooms. I dont think i would stay here again.

Beautiful lovely hotel 5 minutes away from Playa Jardín. The hotel has a buffet that offers you every type of food/food type that you can imagine. Vegetarians and vegans can eat at the buffet. Moreover, the lobby and bar of the hotel are beautiful and cozy and actually also have a little library inside. So you can read while you are waiting for the yummy food to be prepared and served at the buffet. The swimming pool is amazing. You need to see it and get inside it. It's beyond words beautiful.

We had an amazing week long stay at Sol. We always found the staff helpful and friendly. A few minor complaints would be that the pool is absolutely freezing. Also, there is no kettle in the rooms! There was also an incident of room service just walking in at 9 in the morning- maybe make sure guests have vacated room and ask cleaning staff to pay attention to the door notice.

Nice clean big rooms. Excellent sea view. To the right is a football field where locals play. It's quite nosey even though the area is quiet. Lots of whistles and shouting from the coaches. The breakfast is comprehensive and the evening meal is very nice. The food is great. The English breakfast isn't the same quality as the UK'S so I'd give that a miss and choose an alternative morning breakfast on offer. The female and male staff on reception are very helpful. The lady life guard is diligent and friendly. The pool is lovely and very safe for nervous swimmers. Towels are available but we used our own. They do expect you to pay for drinks with your evening meal, there's no bottles of water on the tables or free coffee. If you like a cuppa bring your own travel kettle as there are no drink making facilities in the room. Across the road and up the hill is a supermarket, where you can buy plug adaptors, which you need in the rooms. The town is five minutes walk as you turn left out of the hotel. The first (Salon 72) cut and coloured my hair lovely. Locals vary from the very helpful to the very bossy. Generally most seem helpful and happy. The down side is the cleaners are up at the crack of dawn, they don't allow for those still sleeping, beds get moved and scrapped across the floor and if that doesn't wake you their buckets will. I can't fault the cleanliness but personal space, privacy and respect to those still sleeping is out the window. This has to be addressed. My only other gripe is sometimes I would get served 2nd to another person just walking in. This happened at the Hotel bar and the local supermarket which I found quite rude. Overall the food was lovely, the pool, all female staff. And if you want a fantastic colour and cut go to Salon 72 where the lady is also extremely nice.
