We stayed at this hotel in Puerto de la Cruz for 12 nights, and overall, our experience was mixed. On the positive side, the area around the central pool was beautifully maintained, with lush greenery that created a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, I appreciated the responsiveness of the management; whenever we had a request, they genuinely tried to assist us.
However, there were a few aspects that made our stay less enjoyable. The hotel seemed primarily tailored to older German tourists, who made up the majority of the guests. This was reflected in many aspects, such as the evening entertainment and the bland seasoning of the food, which seemed to cater to their preferences. As a younger couple from the Czech Republic, we didn’t feel as though the hotel considered us an equally important clientele.
Another issue was the condition of our room. The furnishings were outdated and would greatly benefit from renovation. The balcony doors, in particular, were poorly sealed, which resulted in constant noise from the busy street outside. Although someone did attempt to repair the gaps, significant drafts and noise persisted, making it difficult to sleep at times.
I’d also like to mention the dining staff, whose attitudes were inconsistent. The younger members of the team were friendlier and often greeted us with smiles, which created a pleasant atmosphere. However, some of the older staff were less welcoming; on several occasions, they didn’t respond to our greetings, even when I repeated them to ensure they heard. While I understand that working in hospitality can be challenging—especially when some guests behave poorly—it still felt unprofessional. One particular instance stood out: while I was still eating, one of the staff members took my plate almost directly from under me and slammed it onto the cleaning cart. Moments like this detracted from the overall experience and didn’t contribute to a feeling of relaxation or quality service.
That said, given that this was one of the most affordable options with half-board on Tenerife, I would still rate the experience slightly positive. However, I don’t think I would choose to return unless some improvements were made. With a few updates to the rooms, better soundproofing, and more consistent staff training, this hotel could truly become a fantastic place to stay.

Not what I expected and disappointed that the hotel describes as being a 4 star. Our initial room was facing a very busy road and when we asked to change room, the staff reluctantly agreed (eventually).
The buffet breakfast is mayhem and not enough seating in the main building however I did feel the selection of food was good.
Definitely the hotel is for the more mature person as the average age seems to be around 70 plus.
There is no other facility for food if you haven’t booked into the restaurant, which seems impossible to get booked.
Would I stay here again, this is simple as my answer would be no.

This was the perfect place for me.
High above Puerto de la Cruz set in beautiful gardens tended by two full time gardeners.
Fabulous but very steep walk down into town through amazing terraced parks filled with hundreds of flowering trees and shrubs and birds, butterflies, dragonflies and reptiles.
Very well managed hotel with friendly and professional staff. Great variety of meals served by very efficient and friendly people.
Rooms and public areas maintained to a very good standard by great people too.
100% delighted 😎

I really liked the concept of a non-smoking establishment.
The hotel itself is located among the city streets, 15-20 minutes walk to the ocean. The hotel has a great pool. The exterior itself is a piece of wild nature combined with civilization, everything is very harmonious. The room is clean, the cleaning is without complaints, and the staff responds immediately to all requests. The cuisine is delicious.
I am very satisfied.

Very nice view. They have a great Garden. A good pool. Great breakfast. The rooms were clean but too old. Mattresses were exploited. They need a renovation. But in one word; good
