The hotel may give the impression of being 4 star from the outside, it is nowhere near that standard, perhaps 2 star at best.
The building is shabby and in need of refurbishing. In addition, while the reception desk staff are very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable, those running the restaurant need to be sorted out. The hot food is only ever lukewarm, one morning the sausages were raw. The food is nothing special, the only good thing about it is the all you can eat buffet, provided you warm it up in the microwave oven. At evening meal time there is no water, coffee or fruit juice provided, yet you can have vodka for free with your breakfast!
Staff clearing plates made a lot of noise banging plates and cutlery, when asked “would you like us to leave”? One said yes -That was 45 minutes before the end of breakfast!
Those staying in most rooms are charged extra for the use of the safe, even in our premium room the tea, coffee and milk is not replaced by room service.
There are three lifts, one had a service sticker from last July, but several indicator lights do not work. One lift stops 2 inches short of the floor creating a trip hazard.
In many places the floor tiles are lifting. It is not a trip hazard, but just shows the lack of attention that the whole place needs.
The location is the only good thing about the hotel.

Basic rooms but very clean. TVs in the room were good. No kettle or anything but only €2 for a coffee from the bar. Breakfast was very good, everything you can imagine to eat. Fresh towels every day, great pool, €3.50 for draught Heineken.

The hotel is in a brilliant location, handy for everything. Room was a good size but very plain with no character. Bathroom not good - gaps around bath seal, shower curtain too long (i nearly fell when it wrapped around my feet), bath poorly painted in places, and hairdryer cord too short. I had to squeeze between the toilet (which it was above) and counter top to use it. Restaurant and pool area adequate, all staff nice. General decor is tired and reception could look more welcoming. Extremely disappointed no courtesy room available. Surely such a large hotel should have a room put aside for guests with a late check out time. We were told to get changed in the toilets!

I booked a room with a sea view and breakfast a month ago. When I arrived, I got a room on the third floor with a view of the trees, if you want to see the sea you have to lean over the railings, when I asked to change to a room with a sea view, they said that the hotel is full for the next five days. Breakfast is good enough and I really have no complaints about the staff.

Just come back from a 12 day H/B stayat the Las Vegas. Good points.. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. Location is great, great choice of food in the restaurant. Paid extra for upgrade, given apartment 612 with a seaview over looking the Lido, room came with a bottle of water every day and chocolates each night. English channels on the TV. Comfy beds. The drinks were a good price at the bar and dinning room. Happy hour 17.00 to 18.00 was always popular.
Bad points.. WiFi was non existent in our room, complained 4/5 times to reception, no joy we spoke with people on other floors they had no wifi problems even up on floor 12? The bathroom was poorly lit above the bath/shower, there is a step down to the balcony which falls away from the building, no warning of this. The pool area was two thirds grass, was wet and a little muddy caused by people dragging the beds about. The sun terrace was closed. Would we stay again...YES
