The hotel may give the impression of being 4 star from the outside, it is nowhere near that standard, perhaps 2 star at best.
The building is shabby and in need of refurbishing. In addition, while the reception desk staff are very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable, those running the restaurant need to be sorted out. The hot food is only ever lukewarm, one morning the sausages were raw. The food is nothing special, the only good thing about it is the all you can eat buffet, provided you warm it up in the microwave oven. At evening meal time there is no water, coffee or fruit juice provided, yet you can have vodka for free with your breakfast!
Staff clearing plates made a lot of noise banging plates and cutlery, when asked “would you like us to leave”? One said yes -That was 45 minutes before the end of breakfast!
Those staying in most rooms are charged extra for the use of the safe, even in our premium room the tea, coffee and milk is not replaced by room service.
There are three lifts, one had a service sticker from last July, but several indicator lights do not work. One lift stops 2 inches short of the floor creating a trip hazard.
In many places the floor tiles are lifting. It is not a trip hazard, but just shows the lack of attention that the whole place needs.
The location is the only good thing about the hotel.

My husband & I stayed here for a weeks holiday recently, the hotel is in a great location however the room we had was not so great.
No balcony to be able to dry our wet towels after using the pool & no tea/coffee making facilities unless you provided your own!
This clearly is NOT a 4* hotel...maybe back in the 80's but not today!
Unfortunately we will not be returning!!

Having read a number of reviews some sound unfairly harsh now we've just returned from a week stay there.
Ok - it's a 3 star at best, not 4 star, and it's a little tired in places, that's the first comment.
However it's fabulous value for money, the location couldn't be better in terms of being right in the middle of cafes/bars/lido and right next to coach/bus drop off point.
The food (half board) choice was excellent, the odd items were warm rather than red hot but a varied selection every morning and night.
Drinks were cheap with meals and in the bar. The staff were great, always smiling and friendly. We are very happy with our stay and would happily return in future.
The place was spotless and we never saw any litter or cig butts around the pool etc.
Noise- seen this mentioned in some complaints, yes there is music from the bar next door but it ended at 10.30pm and we had zero noise in the night.
Well done to all the staff for a good job in a very busy hotel, it really made it a great holiday, will be back next year!

Only good thing about this hotel is the transfer home. Staff rude. Food cold. Hotel very outdated. Complained to rep re food being cold and bacon swimming in grease was basically told oh well we have customers who return each year. She clearly works for the hotel and not tui. When we asked her if she ate there she said she as the option but clearly doesnt wonder why?. Tui need to send a rep in from the uk to check this hotel if they insist on selling to uk customers i for one wouldnt return if it was free.

I booked a room with a sea view and breakfast a month ago. When I arrived, I got a room on the third floor with a view of the trees, if you want to see the sea you have to lean over the railings, when I asked to change to a room with a sea view, they said that the hotel is full for the next five days. Breakfast is good enough and I really have no complaints about the staff.
