Would love to leave a positive review but with just 3 days till our holiday they cancelled our booking and moved us to another hotel. We had specifically booked the California as we have stayed there before and it is a quiet adults only hotel but we have been moved to a large family hotel. Trying to contact anyone or get a truthful reply as to why this was done was near on impossible. When I finally got a reply it was differing stories from staff in reservations and and staff at the hotel. Being a member of their "Happiness" loyalty scheme obvioulsy means nothing, but I should have known better as the company did the same thing two years ago and we gave them the benefit of the doubt then. Nice hotel if you can actually get to stay there.

We came back from a day trip to our room. The electricity was out, when we went down to reception to ask about this. They went yes we know. They failed to inform us. They moved us to a new room, it’s got no lift, doesn’t have a pool side view like we paid for and the doors don’t lock. They advised to use the wooden stick infront of door and this would act as a lock. Absolute joke. The staff are disrespectful, dismissive and no help. We had to go to the sister hotel to speak to a manager. When we got there they advised the manager had finished at 5. Then they took that statement back and said he was in a meeting and can’t do anything today but could maybe visit us tomorrow. We are two young girls who don’t feel safe. The doors to our room don’t lock. That’s a safety concern but they don’t care. Do not book this hotel.

Absolutely disgusted with this hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights at the start of July, to begin with the fan in the room (“aircon”) was dangerous - barely hanging onto the ceiling and was advised to “just don’t use it”… then came the cockroaches in the kitchen and the bathroom - we were handed a spray and told to get rid of them ourselves… then came the bedbugs. We found an adult bed bug in our first room before going to bed, when reception was told we were told the man on shift that night was just security and we had to go back the next morning to speak to the hotel staff, so after a sleepless night in the room we were then moved to a new room. The new room was just as bad if not worse, dirty sheets, holes in the covers, dirt and mud just brushed under the beds. Since now being home for 5 weeks, I have now found bed bugs in my own room (despite following all guidance) and have over £1000 to fork out to get rid of them. Long story short, avoid this disgusting hotel at ALL costs!

Cannot fault the staff at all at this hotel, we got here and our room was invested with bed bugs, they first came up and sprayed our room and then offered for us to change rooms which was actually an upgrade to previous hence why the grading is a 3 instead of a 1! The hotel is close to most things and if not then taxi’s are cheap enough here!

Less than a 10 mins walk to the strip. Fresh and modern rooms. The only thing that lets this hotel down was one staff member on front of house. Very loud rude and abrupt. Other than that I couldn’t fault the hotel.
