We spent 3 nights here and used the bus to get to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. We used the Minnie Van for one day to go to breakfast before Hollywood studios. The rooms are clean and nice. It was easy to request bed rails and extra towels. We called one time and used Hey Mickey another time. We had a pool right outside our room. We also utilized the bigger pool by the dig site. We got food from that area every night. The slide was nice at the big pool.
The only downside I have is the room isn't very accommodating for younger kids. It would've been nice to have a stool available so my 2 year old can get herself on and off the toilet by herself and wash her hands by herself. A shower without a bath tub isn't always a good choice for little kids either. We made it work, but my kids like to take baths sometimes instead of showers.
The location is pretty central to all the Disney parks so it was never a long wait.
I would return but I'd also like to try out other Disney resorts next time also.

We have stayed at the Coronado over four times now. I do love this hotel, but do not enjoy some of the changes they have made. We have in the past stayed in the larger suites in the Tower and this was my first time staying in the king tower room only. Two main things, why is the AC lowest setting 68? This makes no sense. It is Florida and hot. I should be allowed to set this as low as I want. Giving only sheets on the bed does not help even when sweating buckets during the night. Second, the shower has an insane slope. Be careful when getting in, it is honestly ridiculous. There is no help for a female trying to shave in this shower without busting your butt. Even with all the wonderful memories I have at this hotel, this past stay would probably be the last. The AC did it for me.

We recently stayed at this resort as part of a group for an event my daughter was participating in. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from the start. Because we booked through the group rate, upgrading our room wasn’t an option—something we weren’t made aware of beforehand.
At first glance, the hotel appears beautiful and luxurious from the outside, but our excitement quickly faded when we realized our room was in the very last building at the back of the resort. This meant we had to haul our luggage nearly half a mile (I know because I mapped the distance) from the lobby to our room. While the walkways were well-maintained and smooth, making it easy for our luggage to glide, the sheer distance was exhausting. It’s also easy to get lost if you’re not staying in the tower, though the front desk does provide a map at check-in.
To make matters worse, my daughter was wearing a knee brace due to a torn ligament, so walking that distance—especially after a long day at Disney—was far from ideal. Adding to the inconvenience, my daughter has a soy allergy, and only one restaurant at the resort listed its allergens in the Disney app. Unfortunately, she didn’t find anything appealing there, and the hotel does not offer room service.
We decided to order food through Uber Eats to avoid trekking back and forth just to inquire about allergens. However, when the Uber driver arrived, he called to inform me that security wouldn’t let him into the resort to deliver our meal. He was only permitted to pull up to the tower near the lobby and wait. Thinking this had to be a mistake, I called the front desk to ask if he could at least leave the food there for me to pick up. The staff informed me that their policy does not allow them to accept hot food deliveries, meaning the driver would have to wait for me to walk all the way from my room—a half-mile away—to get the order.
I explained that Uber charges waiting fees, and I was told by Taylor, a manager, that their recommendation was to cancel my order and find food on-site instead. I explained that canceling an Uber eats order would cause an additional charge for me, and again, that my daughter has a soy allergy and finding suitable food without clearly posted allergens is a challenge. I also voiced my frustration that the resort does not offer room service, which would have prevented this issue in the first place.
Taylor remained firm on the policy and apologized, but I was baffled by how this was considered a security concern when I was calling directly from my hotel room, verifying my own order, and confirming that the driver was delivering food to me, a paying guest. Meanwhile, I noticed a glaring inconsistency in their so-called security: guests boarding the Coronado Springs buses at Disney parks are not required to show a room key before getting on, meaning anyone can take the bus and be dropped off inside the resort beyond the parking lot gates. So while Uber Eats drivers delivering a confirmed guest’s meal are denied entry, anyone can freely enter the resort via the bus system with zero verification. That alone proves that their security policies are full of holes.
Overall, this experience was frustrating enough that we would never stay at this resort again. If another event we were attending were hosted here, we would skip the event entirely just to avoid staying at this hotel. While the exterior looks upscale, the policies, customer service, and amenities are more in line with a budget motel.

You can't turn AC past 68 or the heat comes on. Need more luggage carts. Long walk to rooms. Would be nice if they offered golf cart rides to your room, esp after a long day at parks . Room was very clean, beds were nice and soft, shower was amazing. Would be nice to have microwave in room. All staff were super nice

Coronado Springs is one of my FAVORITE Disney resorts to stay at! I stay on Disney property for all of my trips and I visit about 2-3 times per year. I have stayed at Coronado at least 4 times and it never ceases to amaze me! The staff are always so friendly and helpful, the food court has a variety of options with authentic Mexican restaurants on site, aesthetically BEAUTIFUL and peaceful. Three different pools to swim in designed for adults and family friendly. Their transportation system is quick and efficient. The rooms are ALWAYS clean, modern and filled with what we need whether we stay in the Gran Destino Towers or Casitas! I cannot recommend this place enough that is filled with so much MAGIC!! 🥰
