We loved our stay at the Wyndham Hotel, when we walked into our room it was so clean and smelled really nice. They had a good size fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom came with shampoo body wash and conditioner, even hand lotion and hand soap huge size that’s a big plus for me with two toddlers. We were walking distance from the pool, witch was my favorite part of the hotel, it was perfect for small kids mine loved it, and the restaurant was so nice especially the employees, my sons had a melt down and the server was awesome with him, gave him a juice and was so patient. I wish I would have remembered his name. Over all it was so nice the only thing that was off was the loud ness of the air conditioning unit omg was it loud.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a few nights, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few pros and cons worth mentioning.
**Location:**
The biggest selling point of this hotel is its fantastic location. Just a 5-minute walk to Disney Springs, it made getting to the shopping, dining, and entertainment district incredibly easy. Being so close to the action was a huge plus, and I could stroll over in no time, which was especially nice after a long day at the parks.
**Staff:**
The staff here were outstanding. Every interaction I had was warm and friendly, from the front desk to the housekeeping team. They were incredibly accommodating and really went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay.
**Rooms:**
The rooms in the older section of the hotel are on the smaller side. While they’re functional and clean, they do feel a bit cramped, especially when you factor in luggage and other gear from a theme park trip. The furniture is a little worn, and some areas, like the carpets and bathrooms, have that “lived-in” feel. It's nothing terrible, but it’s clear this part of the hotel needs some love.
Even though the room size is a bit tight, it was still comfortable enough for a short stay. The beds were decent, and the bathroom was adequately equipped. If you're not planning to spend much time in your room besides sleeping, it's definitely manageable.
**Self-Service Laundry:**
One feature I really appreciated was the self-service laundry. If you're traveling for a few days (or more), it’s such a great convenience to be able to wash and dry clothes on-site. The laundry area was clean, and it made it easy to freshen up clothes without having to worry about expensive dry cleaning services or finding a laundromat nearby.
**Final Thoughts:**
If you’re looking for a hotel with a great location and friendly, helpful staff, this is definitely a solid option. The older section of the hotel might not be the most luxurious, and the rooms are on the smaller side, but it’s clean, comfortable, and gets the job done. Plus, you can’t beat the proximity to Disney Springs! It’s a good choice for those who want a convenient place to stay without paying a premium for a Disney hotel.
Would I stay again? Absolutely. It’s not perfect, but it offers excellent value for the price, and I’d happily return for the location and overall experience.

I wish I could give 0 stars, this place sucks, check in after 13 hours of travel and before you can get to your room you're being harassed about timeshares and take multiple 'No's' to get them to leave you alone, apparently 3rd party and not employed by the hotel but they are roaming the front desk waiting to get people so that's BS.
A/C in the rooms is awful, loud, and limited to 68F, took multiple complaints and finally to ask for a manager before they make 'an exception to the limit' and replace the thermostat to one without the restriction, I'm paying for my room, I want the temperature to be comfortable for me, somehow this hotel thinks they have the right to set an arbitrary limit for you in all of the rooms and only admit they can change the limit/thermostat out if you complain enough.
The shower is tiny and the shower head was at the height of my chin (I'm under 6ft) so had to hunch to get a proper shower and scoop water upwards to rinse properly.
You have to pay fees which don't make it much cheaper than just staying at a proper Disney or Universal resort, skip this hotel it sucks.

Older rooms are just OK. Very clean. People at the front desk are not very friendly which is a bummer, being excited to be at Disney! A friendly greeting is not hard to do. The shampoo and conditioner in the showers is horrible. If you need conditioner to detangle, bring g your own! Great location just across the street from Disney Springs. Pool and Bar staff were amazing! Overall, we had a great time!

1 Star – Absolutely Appalling Stay! Unsafe, Uncaring, and False Advertising.
We had one of the worst hotel experiences of our entire U.S. trip at Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs.
They advertise on their website that they have an on-site laundry facility – and even confirmed it verbally when we checked in – but it’s completely misleading. After travelling from Australia for over a week before arriving in Orlando with our 5-year-old, we urgently needed to wash clothes. Once we purchased detergent and went to use the laundry, we found that the app required for the machines doesn’t accept International Visa or Mastercard, even though both are listed as accepted.
When we went to reception for help (twice) they showed zero care or accountability, saying it was “a third-party service” and not their problem. In fact, one of the younger female employees rolled her eyes as if it was such a hassle or like we were being somewhat a burden asking for genuine help!! Their only “solution” was for us to take an Uber to Walmart to buy a gift card, add it to the app, and try again. That “solution” cost us $80 USD in Uber fares plus $25 for the card – and the gift card didn’t even work.
We then asked to speak to a Manager and she confirmed she would call the laundry provider and ask they reset the system so international cards would work. She said she’d call our room once it was done — she never did. No call, no follow-up, no care whatsoever.
We ended up washing our clothes in the bathtub and trying to dry them in a hot, humid room because the air-conditioning barely worked. When we tried to adjust it, a burning smell came from the unit, setting off the fire alarm in our room — and no one came. Not a single staff member checked on us or even knew the alarm had gone off. That’s a serious safety hazard.
Between the false advertising, broken facilities, and complete lack of care or responsibility from staff, this hotel is an absolute disgrace. It’s run down, unsafe, and not worth the money.
Do yourself a favour and stay anywhere else. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name on this property.
