Still can't believe with booked this hotel towards the end of Spring Break with minimal points. Super convenient to Disney Springs...easy walk. Great pool and outdoor space. Super friendly staff. Great food options that make a ton of sense with the kids eat free. Great happy hour specials. One of our best IHG experiences. Also, we booked this as the end to a cruise as flights were cheaper the next day. Highly highly recommend.

Disappointing Stay – Not What You’d Expect from a Holiday Inn
I usually don’t write negative reviews, but this one needed to be shared. We stayed here expecting the typical comfort and consistency of the Holiday Inn brand, but unfortunately, this property fell way short.
Let’s start with the $30 resort fee—what exactly is that for? The pool had no towels, the vending machines were nearly empty (one drink left, seriously), and there’s nothing else that remotely justifies a “resort” experience.
Breakfast? $30 for a continental spread that would be free at a Motel 6. I’m talking basic, bare-minimum offerings. Save your money and hit a drive-thru.
The bar stops taking food orders after 10, even though the sign in the elevator clearly says dining is available until 11. So after a long day at the Disney parks, when we were hungry and ready to relax, we were out of luck. Edit: pic if the sign. Dining options. Dining is food. Can include drinks, but by definition of dining, some sort of food is involved.
Tried the grab-and-go option instead—just some dry sandwiches with no condiments. You’d think they could toss in a packet of mayo or mustard, but nope. Dry sandwich and regret.
And when we wanted to wind down with a Disney movie? Nope. No Disney channel, and no smart TV either. In a hotel catering to theme park families, that’s just baffling.
Overall, this hotel feels like a poor representation of the Holiday Inn brand. Between the misleading signs, the lackluster amenities, and the general feeling of being nickel-and-dimed, I’d recommend staying elsewhere.

Mom & daughter trip. Paid top dollar due to location. Common areas updated, beautiful pool area. Room was very dated but clean. Maybe I missed it, but you must pay an additional $25+tax parking fee at check in. Short, pretty walk to Disney Springs. Our room was directly in front of three elevators. I asked to be moved and the gentleman was very kind, courteous and changed our rooms. Would stay here again.

The entire staff has set the industries highest standards! There was a conference held downstairs however we never felt impeded upon due to the organization of the events coordinator. The breakfast and food every morning is a high quality and has a diverse selection to accommodate all guests taste buds. Parking was readily available even with Disney’s tour, buses, transporting guests. We always had plenty of diamond elite member parking available.
The only I guess negative feedback I could give was our air conditioned room water pipes would bang and make minimum noise from time to time. However, our room was extremely cleaned every day with fresh towels, and water replenished so that we never had to asked guest service for it anything.

I had an amazing stay at Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near all the attractions. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. Luis at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find such dedicated staff these days. I highly recommend this hotel, and I’ll definitely be returning in the future. Thank you, Luis, for making our vacation even more special!
