Rooms are decent, could use some updates. Beds comfortable, pillows comfortable, seems like safe area. Bathroom is very small, shower curtain needs to be replaced…appears to have been cut at bottom, weather stripping at bottom of hotel door needs to be done due to insects and or lizards being able to crawl inside of room at any time. Check-in was easy…location is close to everything pretty much. I would stay here again

The hotel is old and run down, but I feel like the price reflects that. I will say I have found the customer service to be severely lacking. At check in it was like pulling teeth to get the information I needed from the lady checking me in, but the lady working next to her was so bubbly full of info for the people she was checking in. I also find it odd that we have come and gone multiple times a day and not been spoken to by the front desk one single time. Not even a simple hello. The location is perfect for Universal though, and have found everything to be clean.

I've been taking groups there for over 15 years, as the breakfast buffet is awesome. The rooms are not extremely spacious, but very comfortable. The pool is nice, and the proximity to Universal is ideal! Head of security Micheal might want to tone it down a bit, as he gets a bit uptight at times for no good reason. Front desk staff is always super friendly and accommodating!

The staff was really friendly. My family and I stayed here while going to Universal Studios. The pool and the patio area were very comfortable. The room was clean and served its purpose. There are plenty of restaurants and activities as it is close to International Drive. Also, with Universal Epic opening nearby, this is a great hotel to stay at.

I stayed here for 5 days in March 2025. The first time I stayed here was 37 years ago. We returned now in 2025 and this is my review: The hotel is very well located. Close to everything, especially the main roads. Our first welcome was the security guard Simon, very courteous, friendly, but above all very professional in identifying everyone who has or wants access to the hotel. At the front desk, we were very well received by the staff (I regret having lost the paper where I wrote down the names of the employees), but everyone was very friendly and professional. The hotel was very clean, from the lobby, elevators, hallways, and rooms. My room on the 7th floor had a spectacular view. The three rooms I reserved were clean, tidy, and without unpleasant odors (dampness or cigarette smoke), very refreshing. The hotel security is very good and strict in its enforcement. The price per night was the best I paid, and it was a quiet, safe, and clean hotel. To sleep and rest, you don't need luxuries, just comfort and tranquility. Overall, I give it 4.5 stars. I didn't give it five because of the following experience: the breakfast buffet didn't live up to the price. The egg scramble was cold and thick (because it was cold), as was the bacon and sausage; the orange juice was very watery; there was no bread selection; and the French toast wasn't hot. In short, no one was responsible for keeping the food hot or replacing it when it got cold. We paid $58 for four breakfasts, and the only hot item was the coffee. The following days, we ate hot breakfasts at IHop or McDonald's. We would appreciate management taking action.
