Stayed in September for 3 weeks. Hotel was lovely and clean. The suite was a little dated but perfect. The staff were so friendly and always said hello when they passed. Enjoyed the pool. Perfect location for Disney. Lots around to enjoy. Would 100% stay again!

You Get What You Pay For
I recently stayed at the Sonesta ES Suites in Orlando for three nights. While there were some positives, a few issues made the experience less enjoyable.
Pros:
• Great Location: Perfect for visiting the parks, with easy access to everything.
• Comfortable Beds: After long days at the parks, we slept very well.
• Friendly Breakfast Staff: The staff at the breakfast restaurant were very kind.
Cons:
1. No Housekeeping for Short Stays: Guests staying less than seven days don’t receive housekeeping, meaning no trash removal or bed-making. For a three-night stay, this was inconvenient.
2. Maintenance Issues: One of the bathrooms in our suite had a broken shower handle, and the other didn’t have a shower curtain. This caused water to flood the floor every time we showered.
3. Unresolved Problems: Although staff replaced towels on designate day (Monday), they didn’t address the missing shower curtain despite noticing the wet floors.
4. Strong, Persistent Odor: Every time we entered the suite, there was a strong smell, like chlorine, mildew, or something that made it seem as if the room had been closed up for a long time. Even after three days, the smell didn’t go away.
Ultimately, you really get what you pay for. We didn’t pay much for this place, so we didn’t have high expectations, but the persistent odor, lack of housekeeping, and maintenance issues made the stay less pleasant.

A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service in Lake Buena Vista: Sonesta ES Suites
Our family had the unexpected need to find accommodations in Lake Buena Vista at the last minute, and we couldn’t believe our luck when we came across the Sonesta ES Suites. This hotel is a true hidden gem, offering a perfect blend of hospitality, comfort, and convenience.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this property is managed by a team that genuinely cares about its guests. Julieta and Rob at the front desk greeted us with warm smiles and an eagerness to assist. Their attention to detail and professionalism made check-in a breeze. Sophelia the housekeeping manager was delightful and ensured that our rooms were impeccably clean and inviting, reflecting the team’s dedication to providing a comfortable stay.
Underpinning all of this exceptional service is Julie, the hotel’s phenomenal leader. Her strong, hands-on leadership clearly inspires her team to deliver the best possible guest experience. You can feel her influence in every interaction and every detail throughout the property.
The hotel itself is well-kept, with an impressive level of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the property. While the décor and some facilities are starting to show their age, we were delighted to learn that renovations are already planned in the coming months. It’s exciting to know that this charming property will soon be refreshed to match the exceptional service and experience it provides.

Me, my wife, and our two young children stayed here October 25-27, 2024. Overall it wasn't horrible but it was pretty dated and didn't feel like the cleanest. You can obviously tell that they had painted over all the walls, railings, and even planter pots in order to update it, but the old green/teal was still showing through. The rooms smelt like bleach and a hint of mould. After walking around the room barefoot as soon as we arrived, I jumped into the shower and noticed the brown dirty footprint in the shower which would have only just come from the floors I was walking on. They had car air fresheners hanging from the vents in each of the bedrooms. However, having the separate room and bathrooms for the kids was a big perk, and the fridge and oven came in handy! The kids had fun using the pool and hot tub.

Not too bad of a place. I did not like the surprise parking fees and the rooms seem to be outdated. They really need some new dishwashers. The Starbucks isn’t really a Starbucks. But overall, I think it was worth the value. My daughter left behind some items in the room, and the cleaning staff was able to mail it back to us. That cheered us right up.
