Great Location & Outstanding Staff – A Few Updates Would Make It Perfect
Our family had a wonderful stay at Hilton Buena Vista Palace Orlando! The location is unbeatable—just a short, easy walk to Disney Springs, which made getting to restaurants and shops super convenient without needing to drive.
The service really stood out during our stay. The front desk was warm and welcoming, and when I unexpectedly got my period, they kindly provided tampons—such a thoughtful and timely gesture. Amanda at Citrus 28 was consistently kind and helpful, and another sweet staff member made our kids’ day with a big cookie. Little things like that made the experience feel really personal and special.
The hotel has great amenities, especially the pool and lazy river area, which our family loved. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but we did notice a few areas that could use some updating. The air conditioning unit was quite large and a bit outdated—it tended to swing between being extremely cold or too warm if not constantly running. The bathroom, while functional, could use some polishing; the tissue holder was loose and kept falling apart, and some fixtures showed wear.
Overall, it was still a lovely stay with standout service. With a few renovations, this hotel could easily be top-tier. We’d definitely come back and recommend it, especially for families looking to stay close to Disney Springs with amazing staff who go above and beyond.

We’re currently staying at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista Palace for a leisure trip to Disney and were really looking forward to the convenience of this hotel’s location near Disney Springs. While the location and the pool are definitely highlights, unfortunately, the rest of our experience has been frustrating.
This evening we returned around 9:30 PM after a long day at the parks (a very typical return time for theme park guests), only to find that valet service had been shut down without any notice. No communication was given—not at check-in, not via the hotel’s text service, nothing. The hotel is hosting a large conventio, and it seemed like all the parking accommodations were made with that in mind, not for current leisure guests.
Self-parking was the only option, which would’ve been fine, except all self-parking lots were completely full. We and several other guests ended up circling the lots repeatedly, trying to find a spot with tired kids in the car. Eventually, one guest ran inside to speak with someone, and only then were we given a sticker and directed to an overflow lot—which required driving off-site and around to access. And to top it off, we still had to pay $35 to park there, despite the inconvenience.
On top of the parking mess, we returned to our room to find it hadn’t been serviced, even though we had requested housekeeping the day before through “Willow” the texting service.
It’s a shame, because the pool is nice and the location is great—but the lack of communication, organization, and basic consideration for guests has really taken away from what should have been a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

This is as my second stay since the beginning of the year. First time was for work which I didn’t explore as much of the hotel the first go round. This time I was bringing my husband and daughter. The lazy river was littered with beer cans and drinks from other patrons…when I mentioned something to a staff member they said they knew but did nothing about it. The bartenders were cursing at each other and the food options for by the pool were non existent, they weren’t doing pizza. The quick serve option downstairs is good for snacks and breakfast but not amazing for dinner. Rooms are run down, lack of attention to detail although the beds were comfy. Parking is pretty far from the main entrance. Great location as Disney Springs is a walk across the bridge. Place needs an overhaul badly. I won’t stay here again.

Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace Disney Springs Area is a lively, welcoming hotel conveniently located near Walt Disney World. When you enter, the lobby features a bar, and check-in was quick for me (thanks to my Diamond status), though I did notice a line for other guests—possibly due to peak check-in times.
My room was comfortable—nothing overly luxurious, but perfect for a good night’s sleep. The balcony overlooking the Disney resort was a nice touch and made for a great view to wake up to. The room itself felt slightly larger than your average hotel room.
The property has multiple pools, a lazy river, a few restaurants, a bar, and ample conference space—essentially everything you’d want under one roof. If you’re visiting Disney, this location is ideal. It’s close enough to easily reach the parks (there’s a shuttle if you’d rather not walk), and if you need a break from the hustle of the parks, the hotel amenities can keep you entertained.
Overall, I’d recommend Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace Disney Springs Area for anyone seeking a comfortable, convenient stay near Disney.

Property had LOTS to do, besides that it is a walk across the street from Disney Springs. There is a pool, hot tub, & Lazy river. Lots of places to get in your daily steps both in the sun and shade. The walls are a little thin so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. Was not our issue, just a heads up. They have a restaurant called Letterpress and the breakfast buffet was $30/ Person but they had a nice variety. We stayed on 21st facing Disney Springs it was great. Our friends were in the opposite building with the pool area between us. Bathrooms need some updating , but otherwise go get and use your Hilton Honors points here.
