AMAZING HOTEL! We stayed here for 8 days and we was absolutely shocked at how good this hotel was, from the staff, the service, the food was 10/10. The staff are lovely and kind. We arrived very late in the night and they had packed us a bag full of food and water which is a very kind gesture. We stayed in the adults only bit and it was so peaceful just what we wanted. The rooms were brilliant and modern. They have a massive range of food which by surprise was very tasty, I’ve never been to an all inclusive were the food is that good you go up for seconds haha. The only cons of this hotel are that it is far away from everything else so we hired a car to get around. The only little thing was that the cups were quite small when getting a drink (all inclusive) and other times we got a big cup not too sure why. But all in all we was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Was an amazing location and had plenty of time to relax.
We went all-inclusive and just relaxed by the pool most of the time. They did have a free bus drop-off and pickup service. If you do want to travel out, be aware tho that the pickup times were quite late, so we returned to the hotel by taxi.
The food was great, and the service was top-notch. All staff friendly and no bad experiences
I stayed in the 18, only private area, but next time, I think the general area would be fine, I didn't use the private area pool or sunbathing area. The bar and restaurant are closer to the general pool, so I spent most of my time there. Even though the general area was busy, most were sunbathing, so there was ample room in the pool to cool down and swim.
The entertainment was diverse and interesting, from pilates to aqua aerobics and electric violin playing today's hits and singers after your evening meal there was plenty to keep you occupied.
The only negative I can say is that the shower temperature fluctuated so much that you had to time when to wash your hair or step back as to avoid burning. This was manageable, and I expect it's hard to supply a steady temperate to rooms as scattered as they are in this hotel.
I will most likely visit again in the future. Thanks for the memorable time :)

Rooms are very clean and maintained daily by the cleaners.
I was impressed by the choice and quality of food each day - all round excellent.
Nice pool with ample sun-beds for all.
Lots of daily activities at the hotel for children & adults to join in should you wish.
Good drinks selection at the bar...
Good location for visits outside hotel, short cab ride- 10€ roughly which hotel reception arrange.

Lovely looking hotel, when we arrived the place smelt amazing staff very friendly. However the hotel is in the middle of like a baron wasteland 15 minute walk from a shop no pubs around locally all the nightlife is a taxi ride away, if you like chips, pasta and bread this is the hotel for you if u like flavour in food don’t bother coming here they serve pasta for lunch and dinner every single day food got very boring they need a new chef all inclusive cocktails could be better and the entertainment is 5/10 the guy round the pool is the entertainment without him it would be boring. The pool attendant (not life guard) he’s too busy moaning about the kids with the balls and sinkers in the pool think they are on power trips (unless your Spanish of course then u can do whatever u like swim in the pool after it’s closed and none of the staff say a single word)
This hotel is best suited to people who like to laze about and do nothing if u like to sight see and explore stay at another place.

During our stay at the Kumara Serenoa Hotel, we found the overall experience to be of very high quality. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with a pleasant atmosphere and hard-working staff, and it never felt crowded.
**Location:**
The hotel is located near the Maspalomas golf area, which is ideal for those planning to hire a car to explore the surrounding region. There’s also a courtesy bus into town, but for those wanting to stay in the heart of a tourist area, this hotel might not be the best choice as it isn’t within walking distance of Maspalomas. However, a short taxi ride costing around €6 will get you to the town center.
**Reception:**
The reception area is welcoming, and here are a few key points to note:
- **Towels:** Fresh towels are provided upon arrival free of charge, but there is a €1 fee for each towel change. While this may seem unusual, it’s not unreasonable.
- **Safe:** There’s a charge for using the safe in the room (€34 for a two-week stay). This feels a bit like penny-pinching, but businesses need to make their money.
**Drinks:**
While there’s a bar in the reception area, it’s not part of the all-inclusive package. The main bar, located in front of the pool, serves decent beer on tap along with the usual sugary soft drinks and cocktails typical of all-inclusive deals. You can upgrade to an all-inclusive premium package for €14 per person per day, which may or may not be worth it depending on your preferences. Alternatively, you can collect premium vouchers by opting out of room cleaning via the hotel app.
**Food:**
We opted for the all-inclusive package, and breakfast offered a wide range of cereals, continental meats, and hot items. Overall, the food was good, although I’ve seen some reviews describing it as tasteless, which I think is a bit harsh. The stews, in particular, were very good in my opinion. However, a little more variety, such as themed nights, would enhance the dining experience. While it wasn’t the best food I’ve ever had, it was of good quality, just needing a bit more attention to detail in the main courses.
**Pool:**
The hotel has three pools: one reserved for adults-only guests, the main pool, and a small children’s paddle pool. One of my biggest gripes was the strict enforcement of rules in the main pool—specifically, the ban on inflatables and balls, even small soft ones. While I understand the need to limit large inflatables, I believe the lifeguard should have some discretion when it comes to small, harmless toys that can entertain children without causing disruption. Allowing dive rings but banning soft balls seemed inconsistent. Despite this, the pool area is spotless, with plenty of comfortable sun loungers, umbrellas, and tables. The pool itself is slightly salty, very clean, and ranges from 1.10m to 1.40m in depth.
**Entertainment:**
The entertainment team, led by Jesus and his colleague, was friendly and engaging. Kids' activities included face painting, Jenga, singing, dancing, and shuffleboard. For adults, there were aqua-aerobics, darts, and exercise classes around the pool. Evening entertainment was primarily singers, but during our second week, we were treated to some excellent acts, including a violinist, rapper, and guitarist. I would suggest that the hotel encourage these performers to advertise their social media pages so guests can continue following their work.
**Summary:**
We had a fantastic holiday at the Kumara Serenoa Hotel. It’s a clean, spacious, and friendly hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. While I may not return in the near future due to limited activities for my 6-year-old son, the hotel was excellent in nearly every other aspect.
