We had an incredible stay at H10 Costa Mogan. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We booked the hot tub suite and we had the best room with double view of the pool and the sea. We would highly recommend this room. On top of all the amazing amenities and room that we received, I have to say that the animation team made our holiday. Dani, Gabrielle and Christian made everyday new and fun with many activities both in the pool and around the pool. They really know how to have fun and make your holiday the best. They were making us laugh day in day out, and they work very hard to ensure you are having a great time. Keep up the hard work guys, memories like we have, make your jobs all worth it. 10/10 Would definitely stay here again. Georgia & Sherry x

**Review: Disappointing Stay at H10 Costa Morgan** I recently stayed at H10 Costa Morgan and booked a suite with a jacuzzi tub, expecting a luxurious experience. Unfortunately, it was anything but. When I arrived, the room was extremely warm and took over a full day to cool down to a comfortable temperature. When I raised this issue with the maintenance staff, particularly an employee named Miro, I was met with condescending remarks. He rudely suggested that I should have stayed in my original room instead of switching. I also booked the all-inclusive package, which was a major letdown. The food options are limited to the buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with set times and a very repetitive menu. After 10:30 PM, there are no food options available anywhere in the hotel. When I asked the reception staff for recommendations for late-night food, they were unhelpful and simply stated there was nothing available. The jacuzzi tub in my suite was another disappointment. It took two hours to warm up after turning it on, and that was only after maintenance had worked on it. For all the hassle, the hotel manager offered me a €30 pass to the beach club as compensation, but it hardly made up for the subpar experience. To add insult to injury, I booked this suite four months in advance, only to find out that on the day I arrived, the same room was €50 cheaper than what I had paid. Overall, this stay was far from the relaxing getaway I had hoped for. Save your money and pick another property—you'll be much happier elsewhere.

My wife and I spent two weeks at this hotel, in September 2024 We liked: Reception and lobby, nicely decorated, spacious. Room comfortable, although the open bathroom in the hallway is a surprising idea. Staff at reception, very polite, patient, helpful. They do what they can with what they have. The cleanliness here is impeccable. What's more, we only met one cockroach during our entire stay, and that was in the downstairs bathroom, not in the room. This is rare in the Canary Islands. The food is very decent for this type of buffet restaurant. The variety is satisfying and the quality is very good. The animation crew are young guys full of positive energy. They never managed to convince us to join in the activities, yet they tried every day with a smile. Fantastic bartender at the bar in the evening. Full of energy and smiles, despite very difficult working conditions. WiFi works surprisingly well throughout the hotel. At the pool it does not work at all instead. We did not enjoy: The hotel is old. It has not been extensively renovated but only painted white paint. Who knows, maybe the old floors will still gain some (historical) value one day. The hotel does not have 3 swimming pools. We were misled by this information. There is one pool available to the general public. The second and third belong to the second part of the complex, which is a building with private flats. Hotel guests have no access to them. The pergolas and lounge beds shown on the website around the shallow pool (paddling pool) are also not available without paying an additional fee of €30 per person per day. NOWHERE in the offer is this specified. The hotel does not have a car park. There are parking meters on the street. The hotel building is connected to the building where the private flats are. Everything that happens in the apartment building can be seen and heard in the pool area of the hotel. Each flat owner can do renovations when they want and how they want. During our stay for a week we could hear a lot of noise of tiles being tiled and walls being demolished. The fantastic animation team tried to drown out this noise with loud music at the pool, which was the opposite effect. No chance of relaxing in such a noisy place. The rooms have very poor noise insulating windows. Performances with loud music outside make it impossible to sleep or even watch TV comfortably until 22:30 local time, which is 23:30 CET. Entrances to the rooms are arranged from a corridor open to the outside in the form of a balcony, which is adjacent to a rock wall. Between the building and the rock is a boiler room with large units whose operation can be clearly heard in the room at night. The hotel is dramatically short of bartenders and waiters. Those that are there do not always know the word ‘lemon’ in English. In the bar in the evening there is one brave bartender who has to serve a hundred customers and clean the bar and tables. Directly in front of the hotel building is a rocky, very neglected beach. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the actual beach, but there are not even toilets there.

Good food but very bad location. Mold in the rooms, die to bad ventilation and open bath design. Hotel is split in 2 halfs. One the h10 is renovated (some time ago) the other is very old and converted in a cheap apartment complex

Stayed here recently with a family of 8, the staff were incredibly helpful/friendly, the location of the hotel is great it isn’t too far from Puerto Rico or Maspalomas (both good places to visit when on Gran Canaria). We had an issue with our room in which the shower kept leaking and there would be water on the floor so we had to keep putting towels down everywhere but they had sent a repair man and the issue was no longer after that. We really enjoyed our stay :)

Despite paying all-inclusive, the carpark holds around 15 cars for 4000 rooms! I had to park a few times 1km away, and the hotel is at the top of a 30-degree hill! The rooms are tired and need of drastic renovation. There are loose tiles when walking on the terrace and stairs. The room block layout is appalling, needing several lifts and stairs to reach our room. The staff could be a little better versed in manners as it seems an effort for help.The food is mediocre at best! The last night of our stay, I returned the food. It was appalling and cold! I'm sorry if this offends, but it is my opinion, and in no way warrants a 4 star rating! In fact, more in the lines of a strong 2 or maybe 3 star.

Had a great week as a couple. Very clean and very comfortable, stylish hotel. Great apartment and the staff were very friendly and polite. The restaurant serving Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet style was fantastic throughout a week stay with many variety of dishes from different cultures. Unfortunately our room had no Air conditioning unit & two single mattresses for the first night but after a complaint at reception it was swiftly fixed. One let down was the shower door unfortunately didn’t close so after every shower the floor was slippery. All three pools were lovely and all heated up by the sun. Towels changed each day and one big grey towel came in handy using the sun loungers. Having the all inclusive golden wrist band allowed us free drinks and food at the beach, pool and snack bars. The hotel is on a cliff face and every room faces the sea. All in all a great holiday destination.

Spacious rooms with beautiful views, clean, but could use some renovation. Delicious food, wide range of options every day. Nice place for big groups. The hotel provides rides to the beach multiple times a day, plus a ride to the port once a day. The bar at the beach is included in All Inclusive. The only downside is that the staff did not follow our suggestions about the bed setup and a welcome gift for newly weds.

It’s a nice resort However on site shop inadequate does not supply fresh milk. You are not given milk for your room so if like me you like a morning coffee when you wake you can’t have it unless you drink it black. Unlike other resorts they do not offer free bottled water either unlike other resorts you have to pay for water although you’ve paid all inclusive does not apply to water. They have a vending machine where water cost €1.75. All entertainment is in Spanish or Portuguese they do not cater for English speaking people So unless you speak these languages You can’t enjoy the entertainment during the day or evening shows. The pool side fitness is also in Spanish So we can’t enjoy that either. The food however isn’t to bad at all it’s pretty good it’s what you’d expect from an all inclusive

We had an amazing 7 days stay in the hotel. We've booked the hotel a few months in advance for a very good price! The receptionist Roberto made our stay even better! He is a professional and kind man with a lot of charisma. He was the first person we spoke to, and throughout the stay, he was extremely friendly, talkative, and welcoming! Please do not listen to the stupid reviews about broken lifts and lots of walking. The lifts work everyday you just need to press the button hard sometimes to call the lift. Also, yes, the hotel is on a cliff, and it takes around 15 mins to walk up from the bottom, but I have a simple solution: get in shape. The food was really nice every day and there was a lot of variety. Overall, we had an amazing stay, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone and come back again, hopefully soon!

Rooms are excellent, the food is good with a lot of different options every night. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Housekeeping are very friendly and thorough. Reception staff are always friendly and happy to help. The beach is just a short free bus ride away which was really convenient. Some of the staff in the pool bar and main restaurant let the place down, particularly the pool bar. They enforce a limit of 2 drinks per person, which doesn't really work when you're a group of 7 including children. When another person from our group went to get some of the remaining drinks they treated them with disdain as well. This rule was enforced even during quiet periods when we were the only people sat in the bar area. The rule didn't exist 2 years ago when some of our group visited. We had a young baby in our group and one night asked if we could sit in a quieter area of the restaurant. This was to allow the baby to keep sleeping, a member of staff in the restaurant said "I don't care if the baby is sleeping you can't sit there" and proceeded to just say "Not my problem" loudly and repeatedly. The area we asked to sit in wasn't reserved or part of the adult only area and other groups were using tables in that area at the time.

All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The kids especially loved the Animation team and our youngest took a special liking to Bea. We had an absolutely brilliant stay here - myself and my two young children. Beautiful grounds, extremely clean, friendly and helpful staff, with lots to see and do. Lots of pools to choose from whether you want a quieter spot, or lots of entertainment. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect resort for a family holiday, would definitely stay again. This place is massive but never felt crowded or a lack of privacy on your terrace. Good sized, CLEAN, modern furnished villas. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Great selection of pools and spaces to lounge with different atmospheres. Large selection of food at breakfast and evening. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained and SO CLEAN. 4* as my 5yo has a dairy allergy and I was disappointed as the only alternatives they provided was milks but no allergy information on the cereals provided. No vegan cheese, desserts or ice cream available. A shame when her brother had a mountain of treats to choose from at each meal. The pizza chef kindly made us pizza without cheese but sourcing vegan cheese and ice cream would have been nice.

The hotel grounds are truly beautiful, with plenty of comfortable lounging options for relaxation. The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly, speaking several languages – it makes you feel welcome right away. There are many activities available, like a great pool and evening program, bike rentals, and a spa, which makes the stay varied and family-friendly. The food is fine, served as a buffet – everything is good, but nothing exceptional. However, the vegan options could be more extensive, or a dedicated veggie section would be appreciated. The rooms are mostly clean, but if you look closely, you might find something to nitpick. A major downside is that the safe costs extra – this should be included in a hotel of this category. If you’re a fan of good coffee or espresso, it’s better to avoid it in-house. Overall, we had a lovely time and would happily come back.

The hotel is really nice. Rooms and general hotel area kept to a high degree of cleanliness. Staff helpful and friendly. Only 2 things let it down. We stayed on a B&B basis so only had breakfast but found this could have been better. Some of the food in the hot buffet was cold/warm. The food containers were not replenished in a timely fashion. The other issue was the free bus into town. Considering the size of the hotel, there should have been multiple buses paid on and more frequent as we never got to use it due to sheer demand. Based on the cleanliness of the hotel and the staff helpfulness and friendliness I would still recommend

Generally speaking, a nice stay in a nice hotel. The staff are mostly very nice. One member was staggeringly rude and ignorant. We only ever saw and interacted with her once. The food was great and I'm a fussy sod. The only thing I would have liked to seen during meal times was more of a selection of desserts that weren't cold, I have sensitive teeth and can't do cold stuff etc. Rooms were actually quite nice, very quiet and had nice bathrooms. The in room AC was a bit lack luster and constantly put out dust around the room. The lifts felt like a death trap, always rattling, knocking and one of them jumped around quite a lot, we did complain (like others) but nothing happened the whole time we were there. The roof top bar was very nice and peaceful, with a small pool, a bar area, restaurant and large seating and relaxation area. The location was quite good for views and lots of peace and quiet but it was a bit of a trek on pavements that were dodgy to say the least and weirdly had lamp posts stuck right in the middle of them. But... Overall, it was OK.

This hotel is very good, staff are brilliant and the location of the rooms looking towards the sea and the entertainment is incredible. I think this is a perfect hotel for a family and couples. The location is a bit out of the way, not too bad if you’re looking for a quieter holiday. There is a local shopping centre with a few restaurants and the beach isn’t too much of a walk. The lovely reception will happily order a taxi that will arrive in about a few minutes we have never waited more than five minutes. Would definitely recommend. You probably need to buy a lot of taxis depending on what type of holiday you’re looking for. The food is okay, we were only on the breakfast board, the only thing I would improve on in the area is adding hash browns. Would definitely recommend for the price. Also entertainment at night is fabulous, always have great singers on til late. The hotel itself is gorgeous and always very well cleaned, will make sure we share this with our friends and family.

Good location and nice hotel but the food and coffee is awful. The hotel is very tidy and rooms/pool area are very clean. Although a little noisy, not people but the bingo/aquafit soundtrack. The spa is gorgeous and really recommend a visit. The biggest let down is the food. If you like flavour id recommend eating out. They sold us half board on check in but it’s really not worth it and I wish we hadn’t bothered. It’s also not very good for vegans or vegetarians.

We've (couple) had a great experience at Barcelo Margaritas. Hotel - big rooms, nice view over the pools, big balcony. Some people would say that the location is not ideal; there is a 20 min walk to the beach, which we enjoyed every day after breakfast and lunch. The hotel offers a bus ride, but the 20 min walk to the beach is perfect after having food, and the way to the beach is beautiful enough to be enjoyed every day. Food - the food can get boring, but it is of good quality. There is definitely something for everyone. There was chicken, pork, and a variety of different seafood everyday. There is pizza, and lots of side dishes to choose from. Lots of dessert options too and fresh delicious fruits. The hotel staff is helpful. There is a gym; it's not the best equipped gym, but it is enough for a couple of workouts during your vacation - you can definitely get your workout program done if you get creative. Entertainment - lots of activities around the pool during the day - we went for a really fun yoga on water the 2nd day of the vacation which was extremely challenging and funny. There are different types of shows during the evening which are running till ~11pm. Nothing to complain about this hotel

Incredible hotel. Extremely clean and the staff were amazing. Really friendly, lots of activities to take part in during the day for both adults and children. The food was faultless. Lots of variety, from pizza, chips to paella, shellfish, beef ribs. Large selection of bread, cheeses, and desserts every day too. No rush for a sunbed in the mornings, always plenty and there's a choice of 2 pools, 1 being quieter than the other. The entertainment in the evening was good but not much for English guests. However, the Yumbo centre is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel if you want more of a party atmosphere.

The staff are a highlight of this hotel. Specifically the bartenders are so friendly and are ready to laugh alongside with you. WiFi was steady throughout stay and there was no activities that were unavailable due to service issues. I do believe all inclusive is the best option for this holiday as the area , specifically for family holidays, isn’t as expansive in terms of activity. Without a car, it would be difficult to find family oriented days out but that did not heavily impact my stay. Overall, very good hotel that holds up to its photos.

We stayed at the Margaritas for a couples holiday, overall the rooms and hotel in general was furnished to a good standard although some of the communal halls needed a bit of a renovation to bring the standard up to the rest of the hotel. We went for the all inclusive package, the onsite restaurant had a wide variety of food available with a different menu each day, and there was always plenty available - the only downside is that not all of the dishes and sauces have labels to tell you what it is. Where I feel the hotel let it's self down honestly was the staff, reception were really rude and blunt; for example I proposed to my partner during the holiday, our friends decided to try and suprise us by ordering a bottle of champagne to our room for when we returned, reception bluntly told them "no", so instead they went to a local shop and bought a bottle themselves and asked if a member of staff could put it in our room for them with some glasses, they again were told "no", so again they went to a local store and bought to wine glasses for us and presented us with the bottle and glasses when we returned to the hotel. I'd like to say it was a one off, but the level of rudeness by reception and -some- bar staff really took the shine off the hotel for us.

We stayed at the Royal Level adults only Barcelo Margaritas hotel which is next door to their family hotel in Gran Canaria - Playa del ingles. Upon arrival we were greeted by a wonderful gentleman who was very polite and professional, throughout our stay the entire team within the hotel were fabulous and very professional, from reception, cleaners, waiting staff, chef's, bar staff, management everyone within the Royal Level Hotel are brilliant. Food was good there's plenty there for everyone, drinks selection was good. Rooms are nice and clean, changed daily if you put your tab out so fresh towels there every day, the pool was good We never had to rush down for beds, we turned up at 11.50am one morning and still had a good choice of beds so that was nice. Entertainment was available every night at the hotel, great bar staff again plenty of seats and tables but would try to get to the entertainment around 7.45pm to 8pm to get a table. If you're after relaxation and just want to chill then you won't find better than the Royal Level adults only Barcelo Margaritas Hotel

Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. A special shout-out to the people who tidied up the room everyday - impeccable! Ah, and the best bath towels ever - no joke. Not too fluffy or too thin, just right. A bit far from the conference center but right beside the Triana area for, great places to eat and drink. An excellent stay.

The hotel is not near a beach; you will need to take a bus. It’s located on a work area of the island. Also be mindful, near the hotel there is park to be avoided at night: migrants tend to gather there. As for the staff, I asked them to wake me up at 4:30am to be on time for my flight. I made the request 2 days prior and insisted not to wake me up the following day by mistake, unfortunately they woke me up anyway despite my warning… I requested a picnic bag since I paid for breakfast; unfortunately they forgot to hand it out to me the day of my departure. Besides their goofiness, they’re kind and willing to help. The rooms are ok, but the stains on the floor doesn’t make it a four star hotel

The location is great depending on the reason for your stay. I am here on holiday, this is more the working side of the city although there is a beach nearby and shops behind the building. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, very clean and modern, well equipped. Beautiful sea view, nice little gym and beautiful roof top pool. I got a deal through booking.com for 3 nights costing £211. Definitely work it. Enjoy.

Lovely big rooms, we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. The food was good most days with a good variety. Entertainment was not brilliant, but only one person doing it and he did his best. It's a 10 minute walk down to the shops and there aren't many. There are 3 restaurants on the square all very good

I love this place so much!!! My family and I have been coming here for 20+ years now and every time it is always a pleasure to stay at BlueBay. The staff are ALWAYS polite, pleasant and accommodating. The maids are lovely and so friendly. They are forever willing to go the extra mile, I love coming back to the room and it being all fresh and clean. The views are phenomenal. Some of the best sunsets I have seen in my life. Every room in this hotel has a sea view. The grounds are kept and maintained to a high standard and the ground staff are very friendly. The Bar serves amazing cocktails and the staff are welcoming, Especially Angel and Zuso, who have been there since I was a baby. This place really has such a sentimental value to me and my family. Please don’t ever change. So many memories have been made here and we always look forward to booking for the next year as soon as we get back. Thank you for everything each and every year! Hannah

We stayed for a week and all the staff were absolutely amazing. Every staff member greeted us with smiles. The location was beautiful,our room was cleaned and refreshed every day. Thank you for an amazing stay. Stand out members were Marco and Maria from reception, but the the staff in the restaurant,accommodation and the little supermarket downstairs were all equally amazing.

To call this hotel a 4 star, is generous. I’m truly disappointed in my/my family’s experience. 2 days before we arrived, we requested to be picked up at the airport by the hotel shuttle services. Upon arrival we had no transportation, they had never confirmed nor replied to our request. We got to the hotel, paid and checked in, the rooms were far from modern, terribly outdated, it smelled moldy (the air vents were covered in it) and I’m asthmatic. The bathroom was not properly cleaned (found the last tenants hair on the shower walls) and Limescale covered the faucets. The AC barely worked, the living room sofa was filthy and there were tears and rips in almost all the fabrics. To a point that we had to request a different room all together. The doors creaked like an old school horror movie. We were limited to one TV channel because everything else was in either Spanish, German or Arabic… Every morning military helicopters did their rounds, shaking up the place with its noise pollution. It seems very much like they are understaffed. Honestly I wish I had more better things to say, the staff were pleasant and patient, love that, and again the views were amazing, but unfortunately I found it difficult to relax and enjoy the stay. This hotel consists of a lot of nice views with a few good spots to relax. However, the customer service is dreadful as in the restaurant the servers create an uncomfortable atmosphere as they wait for the second you finish your food to take the plates away, this completely invades personal space and made me very upset. The entertainment is very poor, there is no access to the beach from the hotel, there isnt any peace and quiet at night and there is a huge language barrier between staff and guests that do not speak spanish as they are on holiday. One postive I will add is that the rooms are spacious and they contain a decently sized balcony.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for a week from 29th may 2024, on arrival had been around 20.30hrs, checked in quickly and no hassles at all, every quickly and was delighted with to staff at checkin. Self catering room was spotless and had everything you need from TV on wall, large fridge and freezer. All utilities microwave pots plates filter coffee machine kettle cups the lot. Had its own separate bed room and 2nd flood balcony all again had been well cleaned well presented. We had use of Gym / sauna a spa for our trip which was a surprising 1 hour per day. I stayed close to this hotel 5 years ago, were I was disappointed, so to have a great hotel, brilliant staff and the cleaners was fantastic. 100% would rebook to the hotel.

Lovely apartment. Sunbeds by the pool and on the roof. Not far from the beach. No snacks or bar at the property. Breakfast is available for 9€ a day. Normal buffet style. Yumbo shopping centre 10-15 minutes away on foot. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops to browse through.

Nice spacious apartment had everything you would need apart from air con, great WiFi (was getting upwards of 60mbps)even in the room. Very clean overall, although the cleaners maybe should sweep and mop the balcony now and then,it wasn't swept once while we were there (10 days) Pleasant staff. Would stay again without hesitation.

We have visited Playa del Inglés many times and this is the best accommodation we have stayed in (11-15 Sept 2023). The rooms are clean, spacious, beds comfortable, and kitchen well equipped (although a couple of sharp knives for chopping onions would be nice!). There are only a couple of English language TV channels but who cares? We were on holiday !!! The pool area is clean and sunbeds were plentiful, both in the sun and the shade. The pool itself was beautifully clean and refreshing. The location is perfect - 10 mins away from the beach and also the same distance to Yumbo and Cita centres which we visit a lot. Have heard people moan that there is no air con... Ok, so there isn't but you knew that when you booked didn't you? We didn't mind - there is a massive fan in the room and I like being warm - the 4th floor got a nice breeze too. Reception staff were friendly and I hope my Spanish speaking didn't have too many mistakes in it. After all, when in Spain, we shouldn't expect others to speak English.. although they did and very probably better than I speak Spanish. All in all, this place is wonderful and also very peaceful and quiet, day and night, which suits us perfectly. We have already booked for next year. To be totally honest, I'm reluctant to say how much we love El Palmar, because then too many other people will book it and we might not be able to get in. It is absolutely gorgeous and I wish I was there now. Wifi good too. Thank you to all the staff, especially the cleaners, who amazed us by being completely glamourous, in immaculate white uniforms and never even seeming to break a sweat! See you in 2024 and please reply to me email because we want room 413 back!!!

Great location a walkable distance away from the bustling port enables garden, pool, comfortable accommodation with a breakfast tray brought to the door every morning, and a very warm welcome. The friendliest place on the island.

My first time on the Canary Islands and I have to say I hit the jackpot with Sol Mogán. I was looking for a base for nature and astrophotography and didn't expect I would be able to do my astrophotography from the terrace of my room. Aside from the that the location was great, 2km from Puerto de Mogán with many nice restaurants, beaches, and ocean views and close to the freeway to get to Maspalomas and the rest of Gran Canaria. And the nearby mountain road GC200 had numerous quaint small villages with restaurants as well as spectacular views which could be enjoyed by car or better yet on bicycle, but it is a long and relatively steep hill that will give you a good workout. I travelled alone, so I believe I had a smaller room, but still had a double bed, kitchenette and table and chairs, but I had all my meals on the terrace overlooking the pool and garden. The garden has many fruit trees including mango, papaya and bananas and quite a few local birds in the trees in the mornings in evenings, including a hoopoe (which was the only one I saw on my 5 day trip), as well as some pretty large lizards living among the plants. The room and bed was well equipped, clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was delivered to the terrace table. The only "complaint" I can come up with was the rather warm synthetic blanket which was too much for me, even with the AC on at night, so I removed the blanket and slept only under the folded duvet cover. Service was excellent, and it was a pleasure speaking to the owners who delivered the breakfast in the morning and managed the reception.

Just go, you won't regret it. We've been going to Puerto de Mogan for the last 8 years but this is first time we stayed at Mogan Sol Apartments. Wouldn't stay anywhere else now.

The pictures online give you a feeling of very luxurious hotel....it is not....it's located in front of one the main roads of the city.....they have a lounge pool....we were there on a Monday and it was closed due to maintenance. Roof top bar and restaurant: Good. There were 2 guys working okay....food? Average. Gym: Again I thought it would be bigger. Happy I booked one night only.

Highly recommend Silken Saaj Las Palmas Hotel with half board options. We have been offered sea view room location from the staff at the good rate so we decided to upgrade . And its absolutely different . Sunny side, great view, very testy breakfast and dinner. All staff very polite and helpful. Special thank you to all cleaners as always leave our room nice and fresh. Cannot fault the place, good atmosphere, staff are very friendly and nothing is too big or small of a task, pool area clean and well looked after, food is nice, happy hours are superb, on-site laundry facilities, rooms are clean, powerful shower blocks, if anything to comment on is air-conditioning is only in front room but absolutely not a deal breaker! Big fan of Julio, happy to accommodate and practise your Spanish with, real top bloke 👌 €3-6 for a cab to commercial centre. What more could you want?

Giving 1 star for accommodation, as advertised photos doesn't match what you actually get. Came here for family holidays, and was put in pure HOLE with a view of 2 walls and roof above our terrace. We was told we have to book through TUI to get good view rooms(we booked through booking.com) Absolutely disappointed 😞

Love it here we have been 3 times in 18 months and have booked again to go back in September the staff are friendly and very helpful. My grandson had the best time ever.. and the staff were amazing with him. The only slight downside is the walk back up to the hotel as there is a steep bank back up to the reception. Shame that they don't have a key card to open the gates by the pool that would put you at ground level.. but the taxis are reasonable at €3.75 to get you back up the hill. The pool is amazing and the rooms are very clean.. lovely big shower and everything you need to make the perfect holiday 🙂☀️🌞

Great place , really loved it ! The apartment was so well laid out, huge and with everything! A lovely terrace to enjoy the sun . The bed was so comfortable. Great bathroom, lots of towels ! Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, plenty of free parking spaces ( if not at the hotel then on the street), pool towels and overall very well cleaned. Handy exit at the back of the hotel with the shortcut to the beach - also many people saying it's too far from the beach but it is a 7min walk down and around 15min back up ( yes it's a stiff climb that might not be suitable for all)

Unexpected ,because always the advertising is different than reality so clean rooms ,staff very friendly, quaiet over night. Tight parking place, but not bad. Outside swimming pool:clean water and warm over night. Suitable for families with kids, Bit far from the beach(Amadores beach)but there is bus ,free of charge .I recommend rent a car not expensive for week(around 150£).From my point of view good experience for a quiet holiday. Useful location, a walk from the beach, and a walk from the local supermarket. We had a jacuzzi on our patio and air conditioning in the rooms. We enjoyed the pool each day. Parking at the top was cramped, with spaces too small for the parking skills of the drivers. There was a water leak during our stay from a communal hall ceiling and the staff were quickly on the case. Housekeeping was very kind to us.

Fairly small Holiday Club (Finnish owned) resort in Amadores (near Porto Rico) on Gran Canaria. Like many resorts in this area it is up a hill and really does need a car to get the most out of your holiday. This seems to be the poor sister resort as it does not have a 24 hour reception. We had to call someone from another resort to check us in. The facilities are okay, well stocked kitchen and laundry facilities. Pool is heated - very nice and welcoming. We did not have a spa on our balcony although it seems half the rooms do. Balcony is fine, 2 sunbeds and a table with 4 chairs. View of the sea is limited. Gym and Sauna seems to close at 19:00hrs (which seems a bit early to me) and bizarrely enough for a Finnish company there is a sign on the sauna saying appropriate swimwear must be worn - No Fin would ever say it was appropriate to wear swim wear in a sauna! There is fairly basic shop on site too with a pool snack bar which is very reasonably priced. There is also a courtesy bus to take you to the very busy Amadores beach a couple of times in the morning and afternoon. So it's OK, pretty good even, with a certain charm in its small size but let down by being a bit basic, a poor relation in the resort chain, in need of a bit of freshening up.

I had a fantastic time staying at the Holiday Club Puerto Calma Gran Canaries.Its was situated looking out onto the marine in Puerto Rico. Hotel built into a volcano rock. Side by side living with lizards 🦎 which are protected . The restaurant had reasonably priced food and also had gluten-free bread for anyone that's on that diet. Staff were lovely at the hotel and the restaurant was very accommodating regarding food. Management and reception were fantastic and very helpful. Lots of activities to do in the Gran Canaries for everyone. Buses are cheap to go around the island. I would definitely recommend the resort and I will be going back to this resort. The only issue I had was that I needed more information on the arrival example about sunbed loungers and how to operate electrical items in the room.

Fantastic place to stay. The apartment itself was clean, modern and spacious. We loved having our own balcony with sun loungers. The pool was brilliant as well. No fighting for sun beds, the odd time you might not get one but oh well. Off out we go! Bar staff were outstanding, really welcoming and easy going. They were so helpful and filled the place with good vibes. Great entertainment evenings too.

Enjoyed my stay at Puerto Calma and despite being along on holiday, didn’t felt lonely and bored at this place. Good facilities and very nice staff and reasonable prices in the restaurant. Big + was the hills surrounding the pool. It did gave a nice feeling being surrounded by the hills. Also super clean and 1 min walk to supermarket.

The hotel staff were incredible - NATALIA - to be specific went above and beyond, when there were minor issues out of her control, she was professional, helpful, patient and always friendly. Most hotel staff were English speaking and Natalia always went the extra mile to make sure we were looked after and getting good service and she is the reason we will return to the Exe soon! The housekeepers were also wonderful and always willing to help and cleaned our room everyday that we were there. The hotel is in an excellent location, convenient to the beach, restaurants and shops. The pool and jacuzzi are great- spent most of the time there (and at the beach) there is a lifeguard there at all times and rooftop terrace is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and a bar where you can order food and drinks for a limited time.

We stayed for 8 nights at Exe Las Palmas and had a lovely time! The hotel is in a good location, right by the beach and within walking distance to some great bars and restaurants. The room is nice, spacious, but a little outdated and a lot of things weren’t stable, for example the draws on the bedside tables broke immediately and the desk legs were unstable. The shower wasn’t powerful at all and the temperatures were really temperamental (bathroom was lovely though and the best part about the room). The staff were great and always on hand and really helpful. The pool was small but always clean (doesn’t open till 12 though). Breakfast was included but wasn’t overly exciting; the selection is poor and some of the food was cooked in far too much oil. Wifi is terrible!! For someone that had a limited amount of mobile data for my trip it wasn’t great. The connection is always unstable and rarely worked for longer than 10 minutes. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel if you aren’t looking for luxury!

A socket for hairdryer in bathroom was broken and a windowlock too (the window couldn't close completely so you could be disturbed by streetnoice.) And again a common hotel-mishap. Not enough towels. People with long hair could use another small or mediumsized when stepping out of the shower...

We are just back from a week here. Excellent location. Beach so close, as well as restaurants etc. Very comfortable beds. Room was a bit tight with the extra bed for our son. Nice bathroom. Water wasn't draining in shower very well but they sent maintenance up next morning & it improved. Wardrobe sliding doors very hard to open. Rooms tidied daily which was great. Breakfast not bad, lots of options. Pool on roof is great. Planning to return next year!

Just spent 9 nights staying at the Bex Hotel Las palmas. I emailed hotel in advance and got my request (one of the few terrace rooms on a high floor 805). Terrace was great addition with views over the city, a table and 2 chairs were provided but the space could have been better filled with some additional items. Hotel is in a great location and ideally located for city, beach and cruise port. Highly recommended if you are planning a trip to the city. Only even better if would be bigger pool/beach towels available at hotel. €10 deposit per towel is fine but they are very small not even the size of standard bath towel, so bring your own from home if planning a beach trip. Thanks for a great stay 👍

Excellent location for this well appointed hotel in the heart of Las Palmas. The main beach, bars and restaurants, bus station and port were all within a few minutes walk of the main entrance . A 30s style bank conversion theme ran throughout the building and added interest to our stay and was a refreshing change from the blandness that is often found in other hotels. The breakfast buffet (served in the large bank vault! ) provided a wide and plentiful choice; it was regularly restocked and kept fresh. The high rooftop bar gave great views over Las Palmas and was lively at weekends. The swimming pool was small but there was a good space for sunbathing. All staff (reception, catering and cleaning) were efficient, unobtrusive and friendly when approached. WiFi was speedy and available throughout the hotel. Our bedroom was clean and contained the same themes to be found elsewhere. The downsides - hence the 4 stars - were that the bedroom air conditioning did not work properly, even when seen to and the only view was of a rather gloomy glass stairwell. We would stay again at the Design Plus Bex Hotel when we revisit Gran Canaria.

Spent a week here on a solo trip around the island. Perfect location in terms of amenities/ bus station etc, however the hotel is above a restaurant and next door to a bar so noisy on weekends and most of the day and evenings especially if you're on lower floors like I was. Room are spacious and decor is great with nice lighting, great shower and free mini bar svd water replenished daily which was a great bonus.

The room was very clean and the location was very good. However, the toilet in the room is not separated properly, so it brought us inconveniences. During our stay the water was also off temporarily and it took longer than promised to fix it. The design is quite inconvenient in some parts, there are no drawers, no shelf in the bathroom for storing cosmetics. If the price was half of what we payed I would be satisfied. Otherwise, it does not correspond to proper standards of a 4-star hotel.

Staff at check in excellent Room too. Position of Hotel definitely not good. Entrance is from a dull dismal quite dirty street. My room overlooked the square and park NOISY LOUD and off putting. All.other hotels have their roof terraces open this hotel does not due to Covid-19! No breakfast room. Eat in room so I went to another hotel and paid to eat at their breakfast buffet. I most definitely will not book here again due to the lack of facilities and its situation. My room was very good however I did not like having the wc and shower in the room without a door. Not good if 2 were sharing

Avoid this hotel. The hotel is closed at night, you can’t check in until 9:00 AM; I arrived from the airport at 5:00 AM and entrance door was locked and no one answered the intercom or their phones. The entrance is in a single lane side street and you don’t see a lobby or anytime to signal. I would not recommend this hotel AT ALL.

Just spent 9 days here and is probably the comfiest hotel I have stayed in. The staff are amazing. The facilities are brilliant. 3 pools to choose from plus a jacuzzi. Food range brilliant for all tastes. Breakfast is plentiful. Lots of different choices from Continental to English. Only downfall is there is not much around the area but it's only a short taxi ride to the main centre. Local shops plus a superdino shopping centre within walking distance. The weather in November is hit and miss but when it's hot it's hot. Few rainy nights but nothing major. Will definitely stay here again. Definitely a 4* hotel. Bungalows very well maintained but could do with bigger fridge for self catering. Cleaners 5 days a week except Thursday and Sunday.

Great hotel. Our room was very clean and modern and well located. A small kitchen area with microwave, kettle, coffee maker and utensils. Good AC in the room to keep cool. Outdoor furniture for the room, we had a room with a rooftop terrace which had 2 sunbeds, chairs and an umbrella. Food was fantastic, rotated each night and each morning food was fresh and tasty. They had a fresh egg station and each night had a fresh selection cooked in front (normally 1 fish and 1 meat). Drinks were not included in our half board but we're reasonably priced. Staff were kind and helpful. Location is slightly out of the way so a car is a big bonus here.

We had ants in our bed, on our nightstand and in the bathroom. The cleaners forgot to leave toilet paper when they “cleaned”. The cleaning felt inconsistent and not thoroughly done. We booked the hotel because it had availability access to the pool (a ramp) and some rooms had ramps up also. We had one room who needed accessibility accommodation which they did not offer, they put them in a room where they had to lift their walkers. Did not feel safe. They gave us room furthest from the elevator and from the ramp which meant they had to walk more. They tried to use the stair climber to access the indoor dining hall, but first time they didn’t find the remote and second time the stair climber stopped halfway.

It's a nice place but if you don't have a car it's hard to get by,it's very isolated and public transportation is very far. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with a front and back terrace. Breakfast and dinner have a lot a variety and everything is delicious. The pool is great and also very clean. You can smoke everywhere but the rooms. The stuff is helpful and nice. But for someone with a cat allergy is not a good place as there are cats everywhere.

Everything is a 30 min walk away. If you have a rental, like walking or dont mind spending 10-20 euro a day on taxi, it is very nice. Pool was a bit cold. Everything else was nice. Recommend opting in for a rooftop bungalow if you want some privacy. (The hotel was in no way crowded, but still nice to be all alone). Would visit again

Positives - adults only makes it a very nice quiet hotel, a positive if you want a peaceful vacation - by the sea, makes for a lovely seaside walk, there are also volcanic pools nearby which are really cool to pass by The service overall is very good. You are served your drinks so no need to get up and get them in the main restaurant. And reception was very helpful when we arrived, allowed us to park our car tempoarilrly outside the hotel whilst we eat before closing time - rooftop bar is amazing! Great views and feels so classy - Nutella is served for breakfast, not many resorts do this and it makes my pancakes that extra bit yummy - they have a nice sized gym and a cool spa, which is 10 euros to go in for 1.5 hours Negatives - Food is not varied (always serving piella), and not friendly for vegetarians. I eat meat and I didn’t find it bad but just seemed like I’ve had a lot better - Pool bar is pretty poor, food options there are tiny and very basic, feels like I’m getting a Tesco meal deal. Also, some of them can take up to 10 minutes to cook, and then the staff don’t even give you notice when it’s ready - after 10, it’s basically impossible to get any food on the resort except bar snacks on Yh rooftop terrace - this is uncontrollable so not aimed at the hotel but unfortunately, it’s very windy and also rained slightly, making it hard to sunbathe here - only one pool, quite basic - you are made to sign for all drinks you order at the bar or restaurant. I understand this for non-included members but for all inclusive members like myself, why do I need to sign every time I get a drink? - not all drinks are included if you pay for ‘all inclusive’. Personally, I find this misleading. Thankfully, I drink a lot of beer and Estrella which is the main draught beer is included.

Actually nice hotel with poor dinner and shocking staff at reception. As Unique member requested on Fri night late check out on Sat . Was told should be ok , but confirm Sat morning. Ok no probs. Went to speak to reception member and was told this is impossible. OK. First time ever as Barcelo member was refused late check out . Never happened in other Barcelo chain hotels. I recommend to contact Customer manager in Occidental Active resort in Lanzarote . She will explain to you how to treat guests . Coming back to late check out. I was told it's impossible because hotel is full . Funny enough a few minutes before my trip to reception I have tried to book 5 same standard rooms with ocean view. And all was available, but reception staff told me they are fully booked . Liars . I told lady I have checked and she changed subject and said the planners book my room Sat morning for someone else. Why. I have requested late check out day before and comment was left for day shift on Sat. Liars. Won't be back .

Very good place, quite and really nice! The room was okay, clean enough, smart TV, fridge, safe! Only a bit uncomfortable was some bad smell(room 207), some times, from the bathroom I think! Staff very, very nice and friendly, food very good! Swimming pool very clean! Anyway, we had a very nice days in Los Calderones hotel! Thank you guys for your hospitality, and definitely we will come back as soon as possible! We highly appreciate and highly recommend!

I arrived at 11pm, late due to flight delay. So didn't really take note of surroundings outside of the hotel. Receptionist was fine. I was shown on a map where my room was. No help given. There was no one else booking in, as I was told I was the last one there. So no excuse. View over pool and garden nice enough. There it ends. The following morning I ventured outside the front doors to see a massive hole in the large area across the road, probably another hotel being erected at some point. The drive into the entrance to the front door was full of potholes. Taxi drivers refused to drive in the tiny space. I don't blame them. Had I known about this aspect, I wouldn't have booked here. I had come away for scenery, not a building site. Perhaps travel agents should be honest about the environment.

The staff is really kind! Parking is free. The pool is great and spacious. The rooms are nicely sized, but the AC didn’t seem to work too well. On the other hand, the only downsides I can point are the prices of the beverages at dinner time (3€ for a coke).

I travel frequently, and this is the first time I've encountered such genuinely happy employees. The manager {Marlene} and the French lady at the reception were exceptional in their service. When we arrived no electrical appliances worked in the room but was repaired withing a day.The place is a building site with the swimming pool closed off. We are allowed to use the swimming pool across the road but nobody is allowed to use the umbrellas because there is a LITTLE wind. The pool guy who works there has serious anger issues and is very rude. The food is not the best and is barely warm, we ended up eating out most nights.

My favorite place when visiting Playa del Ingles. Food selection is a bit repetitive, therefore no 5 stars. This Hotel is currently being renovated, only part of the Bungalows are available. They have a new area (adults only) available (former San Valentin). All Bungalows will be renovated 2024-2025, step by step.

Had smoked salmon which wasn't placed on ice/ chilled. Not sure how long it was out in the open. I had diarrhoea after that.  Dinners were generally hit and miss. Breakfasts are bad. There's no plain yogurt. Most food served were processed and low-quality. Mouldy orange was served. There was a night where the bbq pork was undercooked. There wasn't enough light for the cook to check his meat while bbq-ing outside. One of my travel companions has life-threatening food allergies. I spoke to a waitress (who speaks english and doesnt wear a nametag. Not tatiana, eli nor Sara) on 2nd November and asked if they could label the food that has for example nuts. She said no. And that I should just look and ask. I mean, it gets tiring to ask for food ingredients for every meal in one's life, no? I'm disappointed in the lack of service and concern for the hotel's guest. Our rooms look very basic and rustic. Not sure why this resort is 4 stars. Rooms 150, 149, 148 are facing a road. I was awakened at 4plus am by traffic. At night, we could hear music from a club nearby and music from the resort's poolside. There was no air-conditioner in the bedroom so it was hot and stuffy. Not sure why they put the AC in the living room . Everything was run-down. WiFi was spotty. No internet at the pool. Basically used data almost the entire stay. Receptionist on 30th October (after breakfast slot) was rude. Male Receptionist on 4th November late afternoon was friendly. Lifeguards were busy using his/ her phone/ doing puzzles. Guy at egg station doesn't speak English. Housekeeping doesn't clean glasses and all dishes. But neither dishwashing detergent nor sponges were provided. I wonder how we are supposed to clean them. There was a requirement of 4 kids before the staff would 'open' The kids club and look after the kids. I saw a cockroach in my room. Good: 1. there were activities for kids at the al fresco area during dinner. There are peacocks in the compound. 2. Kids get all-inclusive automatically (the receptionist on 29th oct late afternoon session didnt inform us though. We found out later through other guests.) 3. Everyone kinda knows everyone. So if you have kids, they won't go missing. 4. Free buses to the beaches though the frequencies were limited. Overall, I probably wouldn't return to this resort. But if I do, it'd be because of Juan (the entertainment staff) because he puts his heart and soul into customer service and really tries to please everyone. Juan remembers a family that stayed in the resort 2 months ago. German entertainment staff also remembers names of guests.

Pool was large, uncrowded and had enough sunbeds for us all and rooms and grounds nice (look out for the peacocks strutting their stuff) but let down by poor food offering - bland and repetitive and be warned half board does not entitle you to water so must buy unless you want to die of dehydration. Our son (8) was given an all exclusive bracelet though, so he was able to get drinks at no extra cost. The the german concierge was friendly and went the extra mile and the young spaniard in charge of kids activities was great. Not close to beach but supermarket and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. More like 3 star than the 4 claimed. We had a nice time but won't be returning. Highlight of our trip was dolphin search cruise, we saw lots right next to boat and staff on boat rescued a turtle trapped in fishing line which made my day.

There are a 8-9 peacocks wondering around, which our kid loved. Parking is a bit tricky, as there is no parking space. You have to park on the road, where available

Currently staying with my partner in the double room (has a private terrace) and honestly have to say has been one of if not the best hotel we've stayed in. The location is fantastic; with only a 10 minute walk to the beach and any amenities you may need. Staff at Gold are genuinely the best - anything you may possibly need they go out of their way to accommodate with a smile. Rooms are beautiful; we have a small kitchenette alongside the terrace which is quite cozy. Spotless rooms as well, cleaned daily. The ease of access with the app alongside the friendliness of the staff have really made our stay so much more comfortable, and we've still got plenty of time left! Can not recommend this hotel enough.

This is definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Stayed here last week. The atmosphere on arrival was so welcoming, we received a glass of wine a nice touch. The rooms are very clean and functional, the kitchen area has everything you need, even with basic touches added washing up liquid, cleaner ant tea towel, little things that show the hotel cares. They provide towels for the pool area and the lifeguard Roberta works tirelessly to keep the area clean, as do all the staff who are so friendly. Our welcome on Monday night by the owner with nibbles and wine was another special bonus. Excellent breakfast, fresh produce even had caviar, well worth the £15 per person. From start to finish this hotel cares for it's clientele. A real credit to the hospitality sector. Simply fantastic.

Gold By Marina isn’t a large resort or hotel, and it doesn’t aim to be. It’s a cozy place where you quickly feel at home. The employees are incredibly nice and welcoming. Special thanks to Christian and Javier for helping us book an activity we couldn’t book online and going the extra mile when needed. They also had fantastic dinner and food spot recommendations, which we loved since we prefer quality food over touristy places. Speaking of quality food, the breakfast was amazing! Freshly cooked eggs, bacon, pancakes, and waffles made to order, served with a warm smile from the kitchen staff. In the morning, you can even start your day with some bubbles, which is hard to say no to. The pool facilities are great—our only feedback is that they could stay open a bit longer so we could enjoy them more. The cocktails are also excellent. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Gold By Marina.

Room was good. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Can't fault the staff for friendliness and hospitality. A fresh bottle of wine or sparking was in the room every day. A birthday card and wine on my birthday. Used the gym which was good but the one massive problem for me was the 24/7 noise from the refrigeration unit on the roof of the supermarket directly facing all the balconies. As soon as you opened the balcony door it was all you could hear. I had to use earplugs when sat on the balcony and it was still oppressive. I was on the top floor so imagine I got it the worst. Possibly lower down was OK. By the pool you couldn't hear it and walking at ground level around the hotel and outside no. But in the room and on the balcony..... it really was just there constantly. I don't like to leave bad reviews I like to be fair. As said staff great and room fine but wouldn't stay again because of it.

Special recognition goes to the lifeguard, who works from morning till evening, practically doing the job of four people. Most of the staff is friendly (special thanks to Octavio). The hotel is clean and the breakfast is good and versatile. The spa is small but nice with a wonderful view, especially the salt bath was a great experience. If the sunbed area at the beach gets full, they send you with a ticket to the next area which is nice. Overall a lovely experience. The minuses I can think of is that some of the staff at the breakfast are a bit flegmatic. For example when we told one that there was small pieces of broken glass in the coffee cup (which is pretty problematic because it almost ended up in our stomach) he just stared at us and said nothing. The plates and cups were also often dirty, so the washing machine needs to be updatet. Also, the cleaning of the rooms is inconsistent. Not bad per se, the room was kept clean, but I would suggest some process that it is kept similar every day. Also some of the toothbrushes etc in the bathroom were opened by previous guests and not replaced which was a bit disgusting. I am also a bit disappointed that even though many signs in the hotel mentioned that it is not okay to reserve sunbeds the staff did nothing about it. There were lots of people who took the best beds and had just their towels laying there for hours.

This hotel makes other 4* hotels look bad. Excellent, professional staff. Lovely food. Spacious bathrooms. Wonderful location. Nice touches: 1) A second towel to use at the beach or pool 2) Free sun beds on beach (10 meters from the hotel). 3) They post international post cards 4) Room has kettle, hair dryer, bidet, fridge.. very comfy bed and quiet rooms. 5) The car hire company comes to reception to set the lease up. The car is delivered to the hotel. You just leave it in the car park when finished. So easy. 6) Free parking at hotel 7) Gorgeous views of the beach from the balcony. 8) Stones throw from a SPAR ( right next to hotel). Ive tried other places which are similarly priced on the Canaries. They have all been a disappointment compared to this hotel. Recently been back and it’s just as good as I remember. One thing to consider re. weather if you plan to visit the north of the island June 15th to September 15th. Google ‘Donkeys Belly’.

Normal range hotel. Very clean and nice staff. The food was good. A lot of variety. Of the three LIVVO hotels is the smallest one and the furthest away from the water park & the beach. It's still walking distance so it's not a problem. Good for families... Taurito is not to big and you have free entrance to the water park, which is very fun.

The room lacked basics, such as mirror over desk area. No sockets there either. No kettle or iron (request for deposit). No tea/coffee in room. We got a kettle, with deposit, but then no cups. So brought some up from restaurant, but was told we couldn't do that, as we need to use paper cups! So, we had to hide cups in room. To stop room service taking them! Room was tired and in need of refresh. Largest towel was not bath size. So that was irritating. We had 3 people in our room, and therefore 3 beds. But we kept having to tell them, to be able get correct number of towels and glasses. There were no extra pillows in room, and they were very flat. So asked for 3 more sets, received 1 more pillow. Chased, but never received the others. Food was not good in our first few days. Over salty, boring choices. Improved a little, later in our 10 day stay. So assumed they had a handover in chefs. Didn't have any cold meats/cheeses, salads etc, as set out open, with lots of flies around. I personally was stuck to find good, healthy options. With salad off my list. Resort is maybe OK for people with small children. But we were a group of 3 adults and with no entertainment or late night choices, it didn't suit us. The Grill Taurito bar on the beach was our only place at night. The hotel 'piano bar', never had the piano uncovered. Lacked any atmosphere, and bar closed early. Even inside the bar at night we had to ask for our drinks in a glass, or you got them in a Pepsi paper cup. Absolutely confused as to how it can have 4 stars.... nowhere near! Wouldn't return.

Despite our delayed flight with Ryanair, our connecting shuttlebus, by CanaryShuttles, was great as they took us by taxi at no extra charge Disabled access with lifts and ramps (although they need some TLC) Friendly staff and everyone seems happy & laid back (the Spanish way of life) Food & drink, there’s something for everyone, really impressive daily range Hygiene everywhere was clean and tidy E-bikes were absolutely fantastic, €35 each for the day, and they were top spec, including helmet and lock too. Fred was super! The pizza is top-notch; don’t change your recipe! Most of the staff, especially the cleaners, are super friendly and nice Improvement areas: Aircon powerfulness & noise it makes Bathroom shower curtain & rust Honesty and clarity about what’s included (eg: the spa isn’t on site, nor is bowling, nor is jacuzzi, renting towels is chargeable, etc) seems a bit deceptive; best to have a website and list it transparently The bathroom complimentary toiletries were sub-standard (instead of just two industrial pumps filled with soap, how about 4-star luxury miniature products) The patatas bravas weren’t very nice; too garlicky and funny taste €4 + €5 deposit for locker at waterpark isn’t a very fair price, should be all-inclusive Add price on Pool table coin slots, as the labels have faded Invest in better toilet roll as 1-ply isn’t good enough for a 4-star hotel Staff in clothes shop (Sunny Fashion) to not be so pushy! Negatives: Gentlemen apparently have to wear trousers and closed shoes at dinner (according to the QR code scanned at reception) The ‘sea view’ is very partial in your peripheral vision & there’s construction directly opposite Tiny ants in the bathroom The no-alcohol cocktails (mocktails) were really untasty General: The whole area is very family friendly & family orientated The water park is uniquely filled with seawater, which we liked cos no chlorine eyes! Entertainment is not for young adults; definitely for kids and families Renting a beach sunbed is €3.50 and parasol €3.50 (so two chairs and an umbrella is €10.50 by card only) but it’s for all day; simply check for a seat without a mark on the rear (X marks the spot), sit down, and someone will come round with a card machine & give you a ticket, so you can come and go all day. If you don’t like the food at lunchtime, you could get a burger or hotdog (inclusive) from the poolbar instead Cute and friendly cats roaming the area Annoying birds at lunchtime and be sure to wear Deet for the flies etc Super hot all year round; even when it said 24°c & overcast on Google, it felt like 32°c To conclude: The hotel itself is not that big and only has a swimming pool, snooker table, and pingpong table on site; everything else is a few minutes’ walk away. What’s included in the all-inclusive? Breakfast /lunch /dinner, poolbar snacks & drinks, bedroom bathroom, waterpark, beer & cocktail bar at entertainment area. What else? ACCESS TO (i.e. it’s within reach but chargeable extra): spa, jacuzzi, indoor pool, steam room sauna, bowling, arcade, crazy golf, paddle /tennis, e-bikes, water sports, caricature artist, kids play area, waterpark locker, and more. There are little shops/stalls and a mini supermarket too. The area is generally nice with a friendly vibe (everyone saying Hola to each other), the weather was glorious & the beach was not too busy. As a gay couple, would we go again? Probably not, as it’s very family-orientated.

The only downside is that the food in the evening is not great, loads of stews made with cheap meat, not a big selection of different mains, quite disappointing for a 4 star hotel.

AMAZING HOTEL! We stayed here for 8 days and we was absolutely shocked at how good this hotel was, from the staff, the service, the food was 10/10. The staff are lovely and kind. We arrived very late in the night and they had packed us a bag full of food and water which is a very kind gesture. We stayed in the adults only bit and it was so peaceful just what we wanted. The rooms were brilliant and modern. They have a massive range of food which by surprise was very tasty, I’ve never been to an all inclusive were the food is that good you go up for seconds haha. The only cons of this hotel are that it is far away from everything else so we hired a car to get around. The only little thing was that the cups were quite small when getting a drink (all inclusive) and other times we got a big cup not too sure why. But all in all we was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our stay. Thank you

We spent a week here in October and loved it. The rooms are modern, clean and well equiped. We loved the layout of the hotel and you have easy access to everything. The staff were absolutely brilliant - always friendly and helpful. The pool is beautiful, set in the middle with palm trees and plenty of well kept sun loungers all round. The restaurant and food were excellent, always fresh and always a huge variety of options. We found the location particularly good. You're at the end of a quiet one-way street and are surrounded by green well kept golf courses. You feel safe and private which is great for kids and you can still walk to the beach in 40 mins.

Was an amazing location and had plenty of time to relax. We went all-inclusive and just relaxed by the pool most of the time. They did have a free bus drop-off and pickup service. If you do want to travel out, be aware tho that the pickup times were quite late, so we returned to the hotel by taxi. The food was great, and the service was top-notch. All staff friendly and no bad experiences I stayed in the 18, only private area, but next time, I think the general area would be fine, I didn't use the private area pool or sunbathing area. The bar and restaurant are closer to the general pool, so I spent most of my time there. Even though the general area was busy, most were sunbathing, so there was ample room in the pool to cool down and swim. The entertainment was diverse and interesting, from pilates to aqua aerobics and electric violin playing today's hits and singers after your evening meal there was plenty to keep you occupied. The only negative I can say is that the shower temperature fluctuated so much that you had to time when to wash your hair or step back as to avoid burning. This was manageable, and I expect it's hard to supply a steady temperate to rooms as scattered as they are in this hotel. I will most likely visit again in the future. I was impressed by the choice and quality of food each day - all round excellent. Nice pool with ample sun-beds for all. Lots of daily activities at the hotel for children & adults to join in should you wish. Good drinks selection at the bar... Good location for visits outside hotel, short cab ride- 10€ roughly which hotel reception arrange. Overall - thank you Kumara Serenoa for a fabulous 10 day holiday. Would I visit again….. YES!!!!!

I recently visited spa in hotel Marieta and was absolutely blown away by the service and the quality of the treatments. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Every detail was taken care of, and the entire experience felt personal and tailored to my needs. I tried three treatments: the anti-stress massage, lymphatic drainage treatment, and the spa circuit – and I can wholeheartedly recommend all of them! The anti-stress massage was exactly what I needed. The therapist was skilled and attentive, applying just the right amount of pressure to relieve tension and stress. I left the room feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. The lymphatic drainage treatment was equally impressive. It was gentle yet highly effective, and I could immediately feel the benefits. My body felt lighter, and I noticed reduced swelling and improved circulation after the session. The spa circuit was the perfect way to round off my visit. The facilities were just enough, sauna, pools, steam room, variety of showers and relaxation area made serene experience. If you're looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and indulge in some top-notch treatments, I highly recommend this spa. I'll definitely be returning!

Staff were very friendly and helpful! They allowed us to keep our all-inclusive bands on after checking out as we weren't being picked up until 8 o'clock in the evening for our flight (checkout is at 12pm unless you are able to book a late checkout) , meaning we still got to enjoy the free drinks and all three meals, which was very kind of them! Our room was lovely and clean, cleaned whenever you request (must put a sign on your door handle if you want it cleaned), beds were comfy, nice plush pillows, light sheet for duvet and blankets in the cupboard for if you prefer something more warm. The food was great, something new every lunch/dinner so no flavour fatigue there. So much to choose from, salad bar, fruit, desserts, cured meats and cheeses, breads and of course the different varieties of cooked food. (buffet) Nice and quiet upstairs on the rooftop pool and bar area and great views of the sea and the dunes! Main pool is great also, plenty of sunbeds. Overall we had a wonderful time at the hotel and couldn't recommend enough if you are a couple or want to come with your adult family members.

Currently 8 days in on a 10 night stay and can’t fault this hotel. Rooms are lovely and cleaned daily. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of food choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beach is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel and local bars are nearby too. Plenty of selection of drinks choice on the all inclusive option. Special mention to Andrea on animation for keeping us entertained during the day with plenty of activities around the pool. Evening entertainment has been singers, acrobatic acts and quizzes. Would recommend this hotel 100% and would definitely come back again.

The cleaning ladies and restaurant personnel had a lot of hard work to do every day, but remain friendly and professional to everyone, hats off!✊🏽🙏🏽 De receptionists were also very friendly and nice, and also very helpful🤩 The restaurant good was very versatile and varied, everything for everybody. The pool was very nice and plenty of evening entertainment. What could be better for the description of the hotel location regarding the beach, was that it is not well accessible for persons with bad mobility. The stairs to the beach had at least 135 steps. A few alternatives were going down the long boulevard, rent a wheelchair to do so or take a taxi, that was our only disappointment. No wifi in the hotel rooms, only at the downstairs floor (lobby, restaurant & beach)

We just wanted to share our experience at this lovely place where we stayed for our mini moon after our wedding. The staff here is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. For the first time, we decided to go all inclusive, and it was a delightful experience. They offer a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a daily specialty dish. Each evening brings something fun to anticipate, along with unlimited drinks. While we personally prefer exploring local restaurants and bars, we found the all-inclusive option great value for money. We do look forward to returning soon to continue exploring the island. Felix comes also with the best of the package, I miss him lots, the whole team is amazing with this little boy. Thank you for looking after him 🥰 Many thanks for your warmth and hospitality.

I will of course return! *One small point, re your booking arrangements for December. I have wanted to return for the Christmas Season and have found that you have changed your booking policy to not allow single bookings for a double room in December/ That's a shame!

Another excellent stay at Neptuno—this was our third year visiting, and it did not disappoint. The staff are very friendly, the service is excellent, and there's a great range of food available. The pool bar terrace is lovely, and the pool area is kept very clean and tidy. The hotel is gay-friendly, with a mix of gay and straight couples, friends, and small groups. It’s a very relaxing environment—there's no rush in the morning for sunbeds, no loud music, or disturbances around the pool, and the amenities are well maintained. The quality of the evening entertainment is mixed, but they did have a great tropical-themed night while we were there, which was very popular. The location is perfect for the Yumbo Centre and just a short walk to the beach. Although it doesn't affect us, the only downside might be that there are a lot of stairs, so the hotel may not be accessible for those in a wheelchair.

My third visit to this hotel was just as good as the previous visits. The hotel is quiet and adults only. The staff are brilliant and very friendly. Rooms are spacious and the food quality was very good (especially the lunchtime on the terrace). Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing hotel, views are spectacular. Pool areas are really good. Food was really nice and freshly cooked. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Entertainment was on until 11.30pm everynight and the table service for drinks here was super efficient. Would definitely recommend and would go back. 2 slight annoyances for us were the room cleaning wasn't in keeping with the rest of the stay and should be better. Also the toilet did not have door and was a little too open for us. All in all though, loved our stay!

Everything you need and more, the staff are amazing, and can't do enough to make sure you have an amazing stay. Very family and child-friendly with evening entertainment for kids followed by various acts afterwards daily. If you want something more lively the town is just a two-minute drive away in a taxi from the hotel entrance. Some great high-end shops in the town along with loads of great places to eat out with bars and restaurants and sports bars etc. Amazing location and place to stay.

If you want a hotel with a sea view you get that here. Our room was a good size with a very private balcony and sunbeds.. although there were a few cosmetic issues and plug sockets difficult to get to. The floors were back to front. Floor 7 was on the bottom and 1 obviously up top with 3 more floors above that and the lifts weren't always working in our block. Don't rate the waiter table service for drinks in the entertainment hall of an evening because you could be waiting ages. Entertainment was good every night.. Restaurant food was ok nothing special. All inclusive drinks local brands and not the best. We had all inclusive plus didn't mean a thing to this hotel. Enjoyed our stay anyway

Every day was fun to go and eat. Pools are salt which saved going the beach. And all the hotel had two pools to cater for all. I stayed here for a week. The grounds of the hotel are very nice with well established vegetation and trees. The pool area is nice but very crowded The rooms are dated and need a full refurbishment. Television was old and had two English channels. There was no smart tv. The average age of the guests here is between 65 and 90. Wallpaper was loose from the wall. Smoke wafting from neighbours balcony into my room After a couple of days I stopped eating in the restaurant. The food was very poor quality and the staff were the most unfriendliest restaurant staff I have ever met, no greetings no pleasantries, just rude. I ate twice in the Michelin star restaurant which was excellent but is not part of the Hotel group and is expensive at €160pp. Other than that I went to the village for food including breakfast. You are assigned to the same table at the restaurant for the full week which I thought was ridiculous and reminded me of boarding school. Overall I could not recommend this hotel based on the quality of the food and if you stay certainly don’t do half board it’s not worth it. The hotel management insist on wearing long trousers in the restaurant. Yet people were walking around in tracksuits, flip flops and open tops at dinner, the food doesn’t warrant making the effort to dress up Think carefully before booking this hotel, it’s not a luxury hotel, it’s a travel agent hotel with a 2 or 3 star rating at most

Beautiful location, fabulous hotel, excellent staff, breakfast menu was delicious, and good quantities of everything even if you were a little late down. Dinner buffet was ok, wasn’t always hot, but lots of selection. My biggest issue was we asked for a low level pool view room with a disabled shower a good month in advance. However we were on the third floor with a low level bath which was no good for my disabled mum, she didn’t have the confidence to get in and shower, she had to spend the week having strip washes which wasn’t ideal. The hotel did however arrange a wheelchair for us for a small charge and refundable deposit from a disability shop over the road. Lovely hall bar, but be aware they only open at 5.30pm, not everyone wants to go to the pool bar for afternoon drinks when the pool area is so busy.

Absolutely loved the hotel. A lot of thought and planning has gone into the layout and gardens. Beautiful. Although it can cater for about 1000 guests, it doesn't feel crowded as there is so much space. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Didn't use the tv. Everyone was helpful and friendly, nothing was too much. Food was delicious, an excellent variety. Would highly recommend. Best hotel I've ever stayed in.

Amazing! We are having the most wonderful time at this hotel! Very clean and super friendly staff who all work very hard. The gardens and scenery are breathtakingly beautiful and very well looked after. Breakfast can be busy the later you go so I recommend getting there early. We stay around the quieter pool which is wonderful. All the food we have had is delicious and there is lots of variety. The area has shops including pharmacy and supermarket directly opposite the hotel, so very convenient. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk away along with more shops and lots of restaurants and bars. The games room could do with a few more games for the kids though especially in the evenings as the games room closes at 9pm. We would definitely return and recommend to everyone 5* from us! Family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 17.

Great hotel to stay at to visit Mogan, there is only a short walk to the city and you can walk most of the way through the hotel gardens, as there is an exit for guests at the end. There is a quite pool area and a family pool area, both very similar in size and look. Breakfast buffet has a great variety, at busy times, staff will help to find a free table. Best thing about this hotel is the botanical garden, which is all over the area, every time you walk outside, you notice something new. The cats that walk around the hotel area are very friendly and well taken care of. Staff are very friendly, cleaning of the room every day was very good.

I just spent an incredible week at Marina Suites, From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly and attentive staff who made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and offer breathtaking views of the ocean. The highlight of the hotel has to be the infinity pool, which provides a stunning view of the Atlantic Sea, especially during sunrise and sunset. It almost feels like you’re swimming straight into the sea. I highly recommend the breakfast at the hotel. There’s a wide selection, but their homemade omelet truly stands out! It’s freshly made to your preference – Definitely a must-try if you’re staying here. The pictures speak for themselves, but they don’t fully capture the relaxing and serene atmosphere of the place. The pool area was always clean. It’s the perfect place to unwind with a drink in the hand and enjoy the sun. The hotel’s location is also ideal – close to great restaurants, shops, and scenic coastal walks. I also recommend "El Puerto" the restaurant at the hotel, it was good, and there was a great atmosphere. Overall, I can highly recommend Marina Suites if you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy a holiday with high comfort, excellent service, and stunning views. We arrived late due to delays at the airport back home. We had a lovely welcome by the gentleman on the reception I think his name was Jan. He explained everything to us and we felt very satisfied with everything that he had said to us. We headed to our room which we had been upgraded to the ninth floor. When we opened the door we absolutely fell in love with the apartment it had everything we needed, it was spacious, clean and immediately we was very impressed. We had a coffee on the balcony then headed to bed, they must be the most comfortable beds we have slept in. In the morning we couldn't believe the views across the sea and the harbour. We loved listening to the different sounds whilst enjoying our coffees in the morning it was just beautiful. We had breakfast that morning and all of the staff was welcoming and happy there was a very good selection of food to choose from. We went as a family of six all adults, our children used the snack bar many times and was impressed with the quality and portions of the food they received. The swimming pool is perfect the views you get are amazing. I could go on and on about how lovely this hotel is and just to mention the cleaners are lovely too, many thanks for making this one of the best holidays we have had.

The suite we booked was one of their Select Suites on the sixth floor and it was really great. The the bed was big and the bedroom roomy. There was plenty of storage for clothes and shelves for bits and pieces. The bathroom was clean and never once smelt of damp, the ventilation in there was great. And again, plenty of shelf space for our things. The lounge and kitchenette area was spacious and served its purpose excellently. The balcony was fantastic, with sturdy seats, a towel railing and dining table and chairs. The view was great and the sunsets each night impressive. Housekeeping were keen and left the suite looking great on the days we had them in. Actually, all the staff we dealt with were fantastic, approachable and very helpful. The infinity pool was really lovely to use, with a great view of the sea with its busy comings and goings of ferries and boats. The two downside of the stay were 1) the amount of poolside loungers being reserved by other guests and their towels. Despite hotel policy against this behaviour, there was no enforcement of it. 2) while we did not have breakfast included, the food we did order was OK. We had lunch on two of the days and we made use of their BBQ evening. But to be honest, from our own experiences, hotel food on the Canary Islands has always been a disappointment.

The Marina Suites in Puerto Rico were beyond our expectations. We couldn't believe how nice our room was with a great view of the marina and the sea from our balcony. The room was equipped with everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Cleaners attended every day and did a thorough job of keeping the room clean and tidy. Service from all the staff was first class. Every member of staff were welcoming, polite and friendly. I believe the location of the Marina Suites is the best in the resort, being so close to the marina and the sea and being situated within easy reach of all attractions.

Lovely location overlooking the Marina in Puerto Rico. Ideal location to watch the comida and found of the marina whilst having a drink on the balcony. Massive suite that could easily take 4 adults. The staff of the hotel are all lovely, breakfast is well presented and an excellent variety. The infinity pool is not massive but adequate for a refreshing dip. There is a lovely adults only area with two jacuzzis. Plenty of bars and restaurants less than a 5 minute walk from the restatement and the supermarket is just through the tunnel. We have also stayed in Gold by Marina and love the theme of these hotels. We'll done yet again.

Booked a double room with sea views, the pictures are a bit misleading as you only have slight lateral sea views and no view of the pool, Just the main road and an urbanisation. Disappointing as the food has been excellent in the buffet restaurant as well as the service. The Spa is very nice and allows children during certain times. I would be writing a much more positive review if it weren't for the poor view. The pool areas are also nice. I would recommend anyone booking to request not to be in block 4. I have now changed rooms for the last 2 nights so have edited my overall rating of the hotel. I will post a new picture of our view.

Brilliant hotel, staff are very welcoming and helpful. The place is kept immaculate. We stayed in the presidential suite and it was perfect for me and the misses and 2 teenagers. The food is really good. You definitely get value for money and the service is spectacular. The views around the hotel are great. We highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be coming back. Yes the main entrance isn't open at the moment due to some work going on but it make very little difference to your stay. We found it quite handy to come up in the lift from the road. It made sense. The gym has enough to give you a workout. Its not stacked with equipment but it does the job. The Spa is good too. We had a massage and it was brilliant. So enjoy and treat yourselves to an amazing stay at the Gloria palace royal. You will love it.

Half wonderful, Half meh. June 2024 Pros: the amazing friendly, helpful, multilingual staff. The rooms are very large and spotless. The views from the hotel are top notch. Just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and small stores. You have a choice of 2 pools; one lively and one very peaceful. Cons: the All-Inclusive package is a fraud. You will quickly find many things are not included. Drinks yes included and they are decent. Food; you will eat what when and where they tell you. The food is mass produced resort food. We left a couple times to get a delicious meal at the beach. The pool has many sun chairs and umbrellas but most are reserved with a towel and the people never come. There is nobody monitoring this situation. Half wonderful, skip the all inclusive package. Bring lots of sunblock.

Rooms were good but the pool was a disaster. Especially the lifeguard was a sad man, annoying all the guests. During the day, there is no shadow because the parasols cannot be opened even if there is the lightest wind. He just likes to bully the guests. The breakfast was good.

have been there end of july til beginning of august, the food was excellent, from breakfast til dinner in evening was awesome, variety of food in evening, cocktails at bar were very good, also entertainment in evening was nice, animateur (hostess) were putting lot of effort in their work to entertain the guests, rooms were very clean, and the bed was very comfy. stuff was very very friendly! playa del ingles beach was a 15-20 min walk away, which was just a bit far in the heat of the day but ok. but there was also beach in front of the hotel which was nice. all in all, the hotel is very recommendable and would come again if visiting playa del ingles.

Oldschool hotel in the second row at Gran Canarian beach promenade. Lobby is suitable. But the rooms are furnished within the 80s. Old closets and beds. No update since then. Service is okay. Some restrictions for the guest, e.g. not allowed to drink soft drinks or normal water at breakfast (within all inclusive). Mostly old people. Towel-reservation at pool is sadly allowed. Food & beverage is very good and great variety. In a nutshell: it’s worth the price but not outstanding, oldschool.

This review is from a perspective of non-german speaking couple where we were left out from any animators program because the main language at the hotel is german. We tried to adapt from english to spanish or german but only with little success. Personal is really nice, food great, rooms cleaned, pool, sauna and services also great. For everything we give 4 stars out of 5 (meaning we really enjoyed the stay here but we just felt bit left out from any activity in the hotel as the target is only german-speaking and you will have no success with english)

The hotel was located in a nice area close to the center and the beach. We loved the choice of food in the restaurant, and even though I'm a vegetarian I had plenty of things to chose from. We were welcomed and treated very nicely by the reception staff and the housekeeping ladies. The only thing to mention is that we could not sleep well as the beds were very hard. Also the bathroom needs to be renovated. However, the room was big and clean and we had a great view of the sea.

we had a lovely stay at Bronze Playa. The staff are friendly and willing to help; the pool/outdoor area is lovely and spacious, with plenty of choice at the bar. Both breakfast and dinner were lovely, with plenty of choice and a different menu each evening. The rooms are a little outdated, particularly the bathrooms, and the towels provided are definitely showing their age! That said, the bed sheets were clean and comfy, and the room is lovely and spacious, with a great balcony! Overall, the hotel is great and would stay again!

Location of this hotel is great (very quiet but not too far from beach and bars etc) over the road from a large open space where they hold a weekly market We had a ground floor room with private patio and access straight onto the pool Rooms are really spacious and clean with separate living room which had a small fridge to keep drinks in Plenty of sunbeds so never seen any sunbed wars!! Drinks were of a decent standard most cocktails were included in the all inclusive The only negative for this hotel is the food We both found it really hard to find something breakfast lunch & dinner but overall really nice hotel and would definitely return if I came back to gran canaria

2024 april I spent 1 week here with my toddler. It was a nice hotel, the staff was nice and the food was great. - i stayed in double room with sea view on the 5th floor, however ,be aware that there is another hotel in front also. so my view was mainly the other hotel and sea on the right side far away and the left side a bit. But mainly i saw the other hotel. It didnt bother me much however because i didnt spend my time sitting on the balcony. But the room is facing the street so it was noisy. Im a light sleeper so wasnt ideal, but was managable. - maybe its normal, but you have to pay if you want to change room. It is 20 euro i think however i didnt change. Luggage storage is 5 euro per item. - wifi was good, but had to sign in again and again almost every day - location was good, but since its surrounded with streets, there was noise at night (mostly cars) - beach is like 5mins walk, but you have to go down quite some stairs and then back up, so its not a straight walk to the beach. Its normal in that area - stores close by

All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Perhaps a few more staff members would have made for a better dining room and bar service as there just wasn't t enough staff to keep on top of everything. Fruit juice and food platters would empty and weren't replenished. I found the breakfast and lunch buffet to be adequate but ate out each evening as my 15 year old is a vegetarian so the choices available were quite limited. The sun loungers were comfortable and readily available. We weren't offered pool towels and I didn't notice anywhere around the pool for picking any up but as we took our own with us this wasn't a problem. Our room didn't appear to have any accessible electrical sockets, the only place available to plug in a hairdryer or straighteners was in the shaver socket in the bathroom which worked but I don't think that it was designed to accept a converter plug. I would have expected a socket by the mirror in the bedroom but none could be found. The location of the hotel was great for us and we felt safe in the area in the evenings. The hotel supermarket is well stocked and reasonably priced. If you're looking for good value for money rather than luxury this hotel is it.

We stayed at Suite Hotel in July ‘23. The hotel check in was fast and the guy was very friendly, he gave us a sandwich, fruit and water for the room as we arrived late at night. The room was spacious lots of wardrobe space and loads of space round beds. The balcony had table and chairs. We had a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Beds were really comfy. The food was excellent and we never went hungry. There’s all variety of breakfast choices, fruits, hot breakfast. Lunch is just as good and dinner choice is fantastic. The dessert section was unbeatable with fancy cakes and ice cream 🍨 We were all inclusive and the drinks were local spirits and beers but definitely were fine. U can ask for your favourite brand and pay extra. The rooftop bar was our fave at night with lively music playing and a great atmosphere. The pools are big enough and have plenty of loungers so we had no issues with that. It gets pretty windy at times so u might want towel grips for your sunbed. Definitely plan on going back another time.

It also was no problem to stay there after checkout. Spending the time at the pool and taking a shower was no problem after checkout. This was my second visit to this wonderful hotel and I intend coming back for a third visit. On our arrival we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and water in the room's fridge. My husband's birthday was during our stay and the hotel gave him a bottle of wine and chocolates which was a lovely gesture. The hotel itself is in a prime location for the beach and bus stops if you like to explore the island. All the staff employed are extremely professional and friendly particularly in the dining room. Cleanliness is a priority everywhere in the hotel, our room was cleaned to a very high standard daily. There are lots of comfortable sun beds at both pools on the ground level and up on the rooftop you can find two different sections where you can also sunbathe with the addition of jacuzzi pools to help you cool down. The hotel also offers a spa, which is well worth a visit. I did not personally go to the gym but it was available if you enjoy working out. The food is very good and there is a huge selection to choose from, so even a fussy eater would not go hungry. Each evening some of the food was based on a particular theme so it was nice to have that selection e.g Spanish evening, Indian etc. I particularly enjoyed the musical entertainment whilst dining. Wifi is free throughout the hotel. If you are looking for an adult only, chilled out relaxing break this is the hotel for you.

Service at bar slow (needed more staff on and this wasn't full hotel occupancy ) main bar only opened at 8 pm till 11 pm and to get to rooftop bar 2 small lifts which kept breaking down . Very good food, good alcohol available in all inclusive, fantastic helpful crew, great location, always available sunbeds (not sure if hotel was full. booking of sunbeds is forbidden, but everyone do it anyway:( ). All the rooms by the see (cool view from probably all of it, if you stay in the room). There was extra fee for safe (funny amount but still), I hope it is past already. Overall whatever you expext, you should not be disappointed :) Opinion sticked, and was unpunished for 2 years

A Pleasant Surprise Beyond Expectations Contrary to some of the reviews we had read, we were pleasantly surprised by our stay at this hotel. The food was good, and there was a wide variety to choose from. Contrary to what some reviews suggested, the waitstaff were not rude at all; everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, especially with our little one. We arrived late in the evening, and although the receptionist mentioned that we had half an hour before the restaurant closed, she quickly gave us our wristbands and told us to head to dinner first, then complete the check-in process afterward. They also prepared a thoughtful care package for us with sandwiches, mineral water, fruit, and dessert. I’ve read some complaints about this, but in my opinion, it was a very kind and considerate gesture. Our room was extremely spacious, beautifully furnished, and the balcony was huge. The bathroom was also in perfect condition. This was the first time I experienced an aqua park with saltwater, but it didn’t feel overly salty. After leaving the water, it didn’t sting or leave a salty feeling on the skin. The pools were highly enjoyable, even with a baby. There were plenty of sun loungers and space available. One thing I found a bit odd was that they charged €4 for an umbrella, but it was a small fee and not a major issue. The nearby beach was fascinating with its glittering black sand and gently sloping ocean. We were lucky to enjoy a nice water temperature as well. The restaurant was very spacious with ample seating both inside and outside. The food selection was diverse and suited all tastes. I especially appreciated that the restaurant wasn’t strict with the dress code. While swimwear wasn’t allowed, they were fine with beachwear, which made dining much more convenient. The hotel snack bar was also great; they alternated between hamburgers and hot dogs. I personally enjoyed the hot dog more, but both were tasty. They also offered salads, sandwiches, desserts, and fruits for anyone who might get hungry between meals, although the lunch options were generous enough that this wasn’t often necessary. There were two different coffee machines in the restaurant, and there was a noticeable difference in the taste of the coffee. If you don’t like one, I suggest trying the other. The coffee itself was very good, and the selection of carbonated drinks was also nice. As for the elevators, they were indeed a bit slow, as some reviews mentioned, but this was mainly because there were only two elevators, and people would press both buttons, causing the elevators to stop unnecessarily. The hotel itself is in great condition, although I did notice that the carpet in the hallway on the 6th floor (I’m not sure about the other floors) was a bit worn, giving the hallway a slightly run-down appearance. However, the lobby was very impressive, and the furniture in the rooms was in excellent condition. The cocktails at the bar were not watered down at all – they were delicious, especially the sangria. You could also ask for ice cream anytime from the bar, along with juice for the kids, since the poolside drink machine didn’t offer non-carbonated options for them. However, the alcohol-free cocktails were a big hit with the little ones. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We spent a long weekend here with family. The hotel is decent enough and the location was nice, we were on the all inclusive package. We're not big drinkers, but the alcohol here was very bad. It had to be watered down or very low percentage, because none of the cocktails had any effect on us at all, even when asking for doubles and having multiple drinks. As soon as we went to an off site restaurant and had one drink, we could feel the alcohol effect immediately.

I stayed here for a week, with 2 children (12 years old) the hotel was very clean, with the room being cleaned and bed linen being changed daily. The all inclusive food was generally good, out of 7 days I enjoyed it 5x, the other 2 days nothing to my fancy so I just had the pizza and chips which are on the menu daily. The entertainment isn’t great for the kids it is aimed at under 8s, plenty of shops around for the kids to shop in, bracelet's etc. water sports close by, the beach is nice! The pool area is well maintained and is fairly busy but with plenty of space in the pool, i would recommend it here and the kids also said they would go back. I’d score it 8/10, it could improve on entertainment.

We came here with 2 kids, 10 & 11 for 2 weeks. The room was big enough. The beds are a little hard. Only 2 chairs to sit on as sofa is made into bed. The view from the balcony was very nice, especially at night. Cleaners kept the room very clean, and nothing was too much trouble. It's not a 4-star hotel but a very good 3 star. Staff were friendly and helpful. Due to the location, 2 weeks in one place is too long, unless you like doing nothing, so I recommend booking some trips out. The beech is a 2 minute walk where you can book paragliding and jet skis. The water park included gets very busy on Saturday and Sunday with big ques an hour before opening. The hotel needs touching up in places, but for the most part, it is very clean.

I stayed here with my two kids (9&12) for a week, and it was a great experience. The hotel was lovely, no major frills, but it is nice, immaculately clean. The rooms were very large, great view from the balcony. The staff are all very hard working, they never seem to stop, but they are all very pleasant and helpful. As buffets go, theirs was really good. A great selection of food including fresh cooked meats and eggs, great salad bar, fresh fruit, and plenty of cakes. The resort is like a little village, plenty of shops, a pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants, entertainment and of course the water park which we all loved. It maybe doesn't look as fancy as some bigger water parks, but the slides are all great, some super fast and of different kinds. The pool is massive and very clean too. Taurito is quite isolated but there are plenty of people who can direct you on how to get a bus to the neighbouring towns, Mogán (beautiful), Puerto Rico, and Maspalomas.

I recently stayed at the Gran Canaria Princess, and while the hotel itself has potential, my experience left much to be desired. The food was disappointing throughout most of my stay. I struggled to find something I genuinely enjoyed until Thursday, which was frustrating given the high expectations I had for a hotel of this caliber. The lack of variety or quality made me dread mealtimes, which is not something you want during a holiday. All-Inclusive Plus: I was not informed about the “All-Inclusive Plus” option during check-in, which led to an awkward situation when I tried to use the pool bar. I was embarrassingly turned away and told to use the self-service area instead. This could have easily been avoided if the staff had taken the time to explain the options and amenities properly. Upon arrival, I was only told the times for dinner and nothing else. I wasn’t given any guidance on where facilities like the self-service area, bars, or other amenities were located. This left me wandering around trying to figure things out, which is not the kind of welcome I expected. A quick orientation or a map would have made a significant difference. Overall, the lack of communication and the poor dining experience overshadowed the positives of the hotel. There’s definitely room for improvement, especially in ensuring guests feel informed and welcome from the moment they arrive.

I recently stayed at the Gran Canaria Princess and had a wonderful experience. This peaceful adult-only hotel offered the perfect escape and is a place for those looking to relax and unwind. The atmosphere is serene, making it ideal for couples and solo travelers alike. The room was clean and the staff were always polite and friendly with a smile and always greeting me. I like the fact it is also wheelchair and accessible friendly. The pools were great and I love the fact that even at 10am there were plenty of sunbeds available due to the notice on each one. One of the highlights of my stay was the amazing animation team. They were engaging and brought a fun, lively energy to the hotel without being intrusive. Their enthusiasm truly enhanced the overall experience. The variety of food available was impressive, with options catering to all tastes, every meal was a delight. The themed dinners were a nice touch and offered something new each night. Overall, I highly recommend Gran Canaria Princess for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway with excellent entertainment and dining options.

I was there for my birthday with my partner and our expectations were blown away by the reality. The staff and cleaners were so friendly and welcoming. They were always willing to be of help, and service was extremely fast. The hotel was always kept clean and tidy and our rooms were cleaned everyday. The spa was a delight, we had facials and other treatments which were definitely worth the money! The food was very good, with various options each night. The hotels location is perfect with just over a 10 minute walk from the beach and is close to many shops and restaurants. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely love to come again!

The facilities were clean and everything was kept to a good standard including rooms, pool facilities, restaurant and the gym. Finally, big shout out to the ‘animacion’ team who ran the activities throughout the day. We really enjoyed getting involved with some of the different sports and games.

We stayed here recently and had a great time. Very friendly staff, couldn't fault the hotel location and the outside pool area/facilities were perfect. However a couple of things need looking at. For a 4* hotel I wouldnt expect to have to pay for laundry service just to use an iron, the tiled floor in room 552 inside and out needs to be looked at as very uneven and moved when walking on them and feels like the tiles are not fitted. Air con didn't work and didn't have a fan to use. As for being all inclusive the drinks options are very limited.

Very impressed with Kid friendly hotel. The animation team were very good with the kids with plenty of activities for adults and kids (bingo, archery, darts, etc). They were kind to my kids whether that was in the kids club, afternoon/evening entertainment or just walking around. Despite all other reviews the food was good. There is the buffet style section which caters to all different nationalities and tastes, snack bar for burgers and hot dogs and a nice Italian restaurant only open in the evenings which was my favourite. I personally love zone 1 which is across the road, as it was quiet and chilled with a good pool (careful it is deep!) and self serving drinks. Zone 2 was more active with music, cocktails and animation team activities if you like that kind of thing. Should you wish to go to Maspalomas town the hotel can order you a taxi which comes very quickly if you want to explore. There is Holiday World close by which is walkable and has lots of fairground rides for different ages and a food market for different tastes. I would definitely recommend this place for families. Food - very limited variety in both the main buffet restaurant and the bookable Italian. Cleanliness - rooms clean infrequently and not very well. Also cockroaches running about in the grounds at night. Pools - 3 separate zones. We were in zone 2 which was mostly adults, so quite calm and peaceful. Public areas clean and tidy. Reasonable amount of beds. Poolside toilets were very clean. Jet2 rep, Graham, not particularly welcoming and had poor local area knowledge. Not very helpful resolving a problem with a trip we paid for. Evening entertainment was very poor unless you had very small children. Advertised as a 4 star hotel. I would be generous giving it a 3 star rating.

The rooms are well laid out and comfortable, the staff (especially Carlos and Kevin) have been very friendly and helpful and the facilities are very good. The location is good but there is not much around that you can to walk to but most things you need are provided and taxis are very reasonable. We just like to be able to go for a stroll to the shops etc but that's not really possible here. Great place for families with children, very family oriented and the kids club has been great!

I used to really like this hotel. Every year, I would spend several weeks here, and until now, I was always satisfied with my stays. Unfortunately, what happened this year has been incredibly disappointing. During my stay, the cleaning staff repeatedly stole personal items from us, not just small items like cosmetics and clothes, but also important documents, cash, and even computers. I filed an official complaint with the hotel reception after the thefts, but to this day, I haven't received so much as an apology, let alone any compensation. This kind of approach is unacceptable, and I can no longer recommend this hotel to anyone who values their personal belongings and safety.

Room 474 I recently had the pleasure of staying at Abora Catarina by Lopesan Hotel and I can confidently say that it exceeded all of my expectations in every way possible. Originally, we were in a room on the front near the roundabout, which was just too loud for our 2 girls. The hotel reception team didn't hesitate to move us to the back of the property next to the tranquil pond below. Location: The hotel is perfectly situated, offering great views. Room: I stayed in the family room, and it was simply spectacular. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated The bed comfortable and the view from the balcony was great, especially at sunset. Service: The service is what truly sets it apart. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely friendly, professional, and eager to go above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. They were incredibly attentive without being intrusive, anticipating my needs before I even had to ask. It felt like staying with friends who happened to run a five-star hotel. Dining: The food here is absolutely divine and always had a great selection to chose from. Facilities & Amenities: Whether you're lounging by the pool or indulging in a treatment at the spa, or exploring the nearby attractions, there's something for everyone and the fitness center was well-equipped for those wanting to keep up with their workout routines. Amazing stay, thank you

We had a lovely time staying in room 308. The view from the balcony was fantastic. The rooms are spacious and well kept being cleaned daily. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all very friendly and helpful. The entertainment team made sure there was always something to do and the shows were awesome. The facilities are great and the hotel is only a short walk to the beach!! The only downside is the pools are a little too cold. But overall we had a fantastic time and are already planning out next visit.

We stayed here for a week in room 245, the staff have been amazing, the food has been fantastic, there’s been so much for the kids to do, plenty of good quality sun beds and umbrellas to choose from and absolutely NO ONE reserves sun beds, so you can wake up at a reasonable hour, go for breakfast with your family and there’s always somewhere to sit around the pool!!! Food selection has been fantastic, kids have really enjoyed eating here, and the range of all inclusive drinks is good. The kids pool is very relaxed and the kids are actually allowed to go crazy rather than being too regimented, but you still feel very safe under the constant supervision of life guards, I’d 100% come get again!!! The animation team really take care of the little ones and child participation in the evening has been second to none, they’re always allowed on stage during the kids disco and to meet characters etc and that’s really made my two feel very included.

Accessibility for disabled is excellent to all areas and one pool has a disabled lift into the water. Two small notes. Door to service area on our floor sticks open and as it accesses a stairway, it is a fire hazard. Also the two small steps into the lift area could use a hand rail

Just got home from a week here. The hotel was lovely, the rooms were all clean and well equipped, the location was pretty good, and the staff were fantastic. When we arrived we were put in ground floor room, it was a nice room but we weren't a fan of our outdoor area opening straight up onto the poolside, so we went to see the receptionist who arranged for us to be moved to another room the following morning. The new room was bigger, on the third floor, and had a good-sized balcony with sunbeds, which was a suntrap from 13:30 until sunset. I never quite caught the receptionists name, I think it was Jayny or Jaydy. She was fantastic and went above and beyond to resolve a few issues we had. Because we had friends staying in a nearby hotel, we went bed and breakfast only and ate at nearby restaurants with our friends; however, the food smelled amazing and the menu looked varied and a bit upmarket while still reasonably priced. The on-site facilities were great, and we made use of the pools and jacuzzi multiple times. The main pool area is suntrap, and even though it's situated near a very busy road intersection, the architecture of the building deflects the noise, making the pool area and the overlooking balconies actually quite peaceful. I have rated the overall hotel as 4/5 stars simply because there's always room for improvement, and the car park is awful and cramped with spaces that are too small. I have rated location as 4/5 stars simply because of personal preference. I like a place closer to the beach with a sea view. This hotel is, however, well located with plenty of things to do around it.

We know Gran Canaria well but stayed here for the first time in Sep 2024. We loved it. We booked a XTRA Superior room and it was well worth the extra money, a bigger apartment with separate kitchen, bedroom, living area and bathroom. Hotel was very clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too with a large range to choose from. With three separate pools too there was no issue with sunloungers as they was plenty to go around. From a location point of view it was close to the Yumbo, a but of a walk to the beach but we are very familiar with the area now so suited us well.

We stayed 12 nights. Personnel very kind and professional. Hotel is clean and well maintained, despite being old. Restaurant buffet is very good. More busy in the morning and calmer in evening. Despite the crowd, staff is manging to keep it always full of food. Team of animantors very engaged. I was very happy to have Croatian in languages spoken among the crew. Few points which I liked less, but I would not say it was negative: Swimming pool only open 10-18h00 a bit brutal. Should be at least 19h00... Mini disco very short and the room in which it is held is not very inviting. I imagine it worked great as a night club in 80s, but should be brought up to modern standards. Finally be prepared that hotel is almost all Netherlands :) To conclude, yes It is a hotel adapted for families with children.

The food is lovely they have a self service buffet I got all inclusive and went for at least 2 servings it was so tasty. Good beer too. I got the double deluxe room I found it strange that there was no lights on the ceiling except for bathroom but they had moody bedside lights, and the terrace had big glass sliding door / wall that from in the room you can see out perfectly but it's tinted so it would be impossible to see inside from outside. Pool was lovely main pool was very packed with a lot of romantic couples putting the emphasis on adults only but the pool outside buffet (which is an infinity pool) has a great view when the parasols aren't open and is generally empty. The location is right on the beach and there is poolside bars serving drinks till 8. The hotel is also very disable friendly with pool chair lifts. All together for my short holiday it was perfect the only thing that could make it better would be to have gone with someone and to have stayed longer

Overall, it was pretty decent. Pros: The location was good with good walkability to places as well as overlooking the ocean, and the hotel and rooms had a nice environment. If you are a Unique guest, the lounge was really great. Cons: For people that are paying full price for the drinks, the size of the pour was abysmal - very disappointing and made us leave the hotel for other places to eat and drink. Also, most of the shows were good except for this one man who it seemed was doing a bad karaoke show. The other thing we hated is that we are not smokers. All of the smokers were seated in the best outdoor seats (I understand that they are the best ventilated). But because we don't like smoke, we were relegated to the other side of the Unique area and the view was not good.

We had an absolutely fabulous time here. It's a beautiful hotel, the location is fantastic, lovely bars all around the beach. We would definitely advice going in the Unique package, the chef Arminda was just fantastic 👌 the food was incredible and Sabrina was so friendly and attentive, nothing was ever too much trouble. Our room had a beautiful view, it was spotless clean and cleaned every day. All the staff were so friendly and really make the hotel the way it is, my only complaint would be about a waitress called Montse in the dinner buffet, we found her very rude and whenever we asked for water or a drinks she just kept ignoring us and bringing us nothing, she seemed to only care or serve her Spanish friends, otherwise we would have given the hotel 5 stars. The food at the buffet was also lovely, where each night had a different theme. Thanks for a wonderful stay and ro the beautiful chocolates on our arrival we would definitely come back.

Spent a week here. Stunning hotel and fantastic location as in right on the beach. I can't fault the staff. Everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond. There just seemed to lack an atmosphere. There was no music at the pool besides the smoking area, this was besides the Saturday, which they had a drinks promotion, pool side games, and music. The whole place changed that day. More people in the pool could hear the laughter and good time. Don't get me wrong, it was lovely to sit back and relax, but I did miss the bit of atmosphere.

Just left a two night stay at this hotel. I am gluten free, my partner had emailed prior our stay and was told not to worry there are plenty of gluten free options and we’ll be taken care of. Well I have been gluten free just over a year and have never had such a disaster as this experience. I was told conflicting information about what was and wasn’t gluten free. Even eating something g a chef later said wasn’t gluten free, luckily I had no reaction. I spoke to 8 chefs/ front of house staff about what was gluten and no clear answer was given. I was raging at this point, I spoke to reception, a guest experience manager and a member of staff at checkout. At no point was an apology offered until we mentioned this fact, nothing was done to make up for the fact our night was ruined.. and to be honest the feeling was no one could care less. This is a five star hotel at over 300 euros a night and the reaction and knowledge to allergies.. gluten being an extremely well know allergy.. is a total disgrace. Avoid at all costs, our stay in Gloria Royal days before this was 5 stars all the way for a 4 star hotel

The SURU bar had a beautiful atmosphere with a great array of drinks. The room service quality and quantity of food were excellent (plus I have very challenging dietary requirements that the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate). I also took the lovers package and it was perfect in every way (again, the hotel and chef accommodated my challenging request) Thank you everyone for a lovely week away.

Beachside hotel with large pool and plenty of sun beds. Excellent breakfast choice with the option of inside or Al fresco seating. The view from sea facing rooms must be exceptional, but our balcony at the back still offered interest. Staff were charming.

An old hotel, renovated quite nicely in 2019. Outside and inside very dark, black is the dominant color. Rooms ok as is the service and the food. However there's little variety in the buffet and fish is consistently overcooked. Very small pool area. The big problem of this hotel is the noise. The rooftop is leased to an external disco operator, and the noise from the music would be considered illegal in most countries. Overall, the 5 star rating is not justified even for Spanish standards. More 3.5 to 4 stars.

Beds not comfy, no chance of getting a sleep. Hardly any of the drinks machines work, 5 days in and still not been able to get an apple juice for breakfast. Most mornings you can't get a glass for your drink anyway and if you like brown or tomato sauce with breakfast, lunch or dinner best bring your own as there ain't any here. Food is more or less the same every night and not of a high quality. Zero entertainment round the pools and zero music during the day. Entertainment at night is terrible. Mini disco for toddler's but if you have older kid's, forget it. Place looks nice though tbf. Absolutely not value for money. Over priced and boring. Save your money and go to a different hotel.

Hornchurch Eagle

First time staying this side in the Tabaiba Princess. The hotel a large with great sized rooms. The hotel is spotless which is a credit to the staff. There are numerous drinks machines but these go off about 11ish. I'm not an alcohol drinker so can't comment on that. The food was very nice with a varied selection. If you want food there can be a wait for a table in the main restaurant. The two boulevard restaurants (Chinese and Italian) are average IMO but good to try something different from the main restaurant. The main (relax) pool was never overly busy which was great. On the whole we had a super 2 week holiday here and would come back in a heartbeat.

Next Voyage

It's a nice hotel, but far too big—it's more of a resort where quantity is prioritized over quality. The food is mediocre at best, with some items being of very poor quality. If you're traveling in winter, most of the pools are not heated and are quite cold. If you don't upgrade to a better all-inclusive package, there's not much to drink. The location is also quite inconvenient; everything is far away, and there’s nothing around the hotel. To make matters worse, our entire family got a stomach illness while staying at the hotel. I do not recommend this place—there are much better hotels on Gran Canaria.

Just back from a week away staying in the Maspalomas & Tabaiba Princess resort. We had a fantastic time! We were able to get sunbeds/chairs every day (some mornings not getting down to the pool until after 10am), all pools were well kept and great for adults and children alike, staff friendly and helpful, and room comfortable and clean. The only thing I will say is that the food was very similar each day, but still enjoyable. We ate in a restaurant off resort one night and booked into Kokoro for our anniversary dinner - it was delicious! Overall an amazing holiday and would love to come back one day.

Perfect place to take our 2 year old with a kids pool filled with slides and activities. Weather was 27/28 in September so it was lovely. Food was great and plenty to do inside the complex. Not much around the area so grab a bus to Las Palmas city and there is plenty to do up there.

Decent first holiday abroad for me could of been better with the food as it wasn’t the best and the pool was cool but freezing and the pool staff are not very good. Reception were very good and 90% of the people there spoke English Wich was good as well. There’s also an arcade here and if you wanted some euros for the arcade you can ask reception and they would have no problem. I also dropped a football that I won at the arcade as I was doing kick ups with it but the area is pretty good and I enjoyed 90% off it but the only downsides where the food, pool staff and the water park near the hotel Wich the water was so salty and cold that the sea was less salty. The sports bar was really good if you wanted to watch pretty much any sport as you can request to reception if you wanted to put the football or the f1 with a drinks machine in the room with a pool table Wich me and my family and freind played on all the time. I would I like to comeback here one day Because it was good for my first holiday abroad and a memory from my life that I won’t forget.

Loved the self service areas. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. The spa is nice I treated myself to a manicure and a pedicure. Chilled out holiday Looking forward to returning after the renovation.

It’s always difficult to write a constructive review when you have been sick all week but will try to be honest and fair. I rarely give poor reviews but I am struggling with this one. Just to be clear I fell ill on my 2nd day here with severe sickness and diarrhoea. I have no evidence to say that the hotel was to blame as I could have picked up something en route. I was very unwell and did not want to be left alone but the hotel reception refused to bring any water to the room when requested. My wife eventually went to reception and after an argument was given a bottle to bring back. We generally require very few services from hotels like this but this was extreme (for me ) and the hotel failed to provide an acceptable level of service at the point of need. I need to say that the next day addition water was brought to the room and the staff were helpful and courteous. I didn’t want to give a poor review because of the actions on 1 night time receptionist, thus migrating of 3. In general the hotel is clean and friendly; food is good and varied with something for everyone. I would have preferred it if bottled water had been provided for all guests as many other hotels do in the Canaries; I can’t prove it but feel that it may have been the cause of my sickness. We also noticed a number of other guests were sick during our stay. Hot and cold drinks are always available via bars and drinks machines but no table service for drinks, even at breakfast. One pool is heated and there are plenty of loungers. Lifeguard on duty was very attentive and did a great job of keeping things in order. Hotel provides free bus to neighbouring town on market day. Lots of children’s play areas and activities.

3 of us experienced serious vomiting. During this period we only ate food from the hotel. Other travelers I chatted with experienced the same vomiting! The hotel facilities are a bit old, the bathtub is peeling off, the shower head is rusty when unscrewed, and the washbasin and bathtub often accumulate water (the water drains very slowly) The service was however great, but no one wants to vomit for two days on vacation. So sorry, won't come back
