Proactive Review – Reservation Cancelled
We booked a room at Exe Las Palmas for the Christmas holidays, based on the room description and facilities shown on Booking.com. A key detail for us was that the room included a double bed, which was clearly indicated at the time of booking.
However, after the reservation was confirmed, the hotel informed us that we would be given a room with two separate single beds instead – despite having selected a double bed. No compensation or alternative solution was offered, and the explanation given was simply that double beds are subject to availability.
As this did not match the booking details and was an important part of our decision, we chose to cancel the reservation.

This is absolutely not a four-star hotel. It feels misleading.
This hotel does not meet four-star standards in any way.
The overall quality, facilities, and service are far below what is advertised.
Labeling this property as a four-star hotel is misleading and gives guests false expectations. I would not have booked it if I had known the real condition in advance.
I strongly suggest the hotel update its rating honestly, and future guests should be aware before booking.

Thank you so much to all the staff, you’re all so amazing and helpful! Both my partner and I had our birthdays while here, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure the days were special!!!
The hotel itself is lovely, breakfast was great, rooms were cleaned well and regularly, location is fab, there’s so much around!
I will definitely be coming back again!

The place was in total OK.
What could be is the freshness of the breakfast. All is there, just need to be more fresh. Don’t put all out and let it be be cold.
