The hotel has stunning views, clean, nice food and plenty of swimming pools to choose from. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was a really good size with big bathroom, the cleaners came everyday. You can walk to close beach but steep hill walking back up. The towns with shops and beautiful beaches are a bus ride away, which you can catch 5 min walk away, only cost £1 each way. The only downside was, it was very windy. I’d love to go again

We booked this holiday and then looked at the reviews. We wondered if we had made a mistake and did think about changing it. However we are so glad we didn't. Rooms cleaned everyday. Staff so helpful and friendly. Food plentiful and varied. Exceptional sea view. Whilst a French entertainment team, they were friendly and we loved the aqua gym. We wanted a quiet friendly resort and that is what we got. Wonderful break....Thank You all.

Spent 4 nights here in April 2024. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, booked the “club” access which gives you a nicer room, access to a private self serve bar and balcony; separate dining area. This was very good value for money and would recommend this. We didn’t leave the hotel for the duration, and didn’t once get bored. Three pools and an indoor spa too. Facilities were very clean. Food wasn’t too bad and drinks choices were very good. Lots of space around the pools for sunbathing. The only negative was our room not being ready when we arrived, but this caused no issue as we went for a drink and enjoyed the sun. I would recommend a visit and I’ll be returning. ☀️

We are very satisfied with our trip and stay at the AluaVillage Fuerteventura hotel, and if we could go back in time, we would choose this hotel again. The views from practically every spot in the hotel were stunning. The pools were very nice and well-maintained. The rooms were very nice and clean. Right in front of the hotel, there is a bus stop with buses running on average every 30 minutes towards Morro Jable and Costa Calma/Puerto del Rosario. The town where the hotel is located, Esquinzo, mostly consists of hotels, one large supermarket, a few beach bars, a few souvenir shops (the best one I visited on all of Fuerteventura is near Esquinzo Beach), and, most importantly, beautiful beaches—Playa de Butihondo, Playa Esquinzo-Butihondom (the closest to the hotel, about a 10-minute walk downhill), and definitely the most beautiful, Playa de Esquinzo (about a 20-minute walk, attached photo). Right in front of the hotel, there is a beautiful, long street lined with palm trees on both sides. However, there were a few inconveniences, such as the view from our room, which was supposed to be of a garden, but instead faced a white wall of the adjacent building, located about 3 meters from our room. Another inconvenience was that we had two single beds instead of one double bed, but the hotel staff quickly intervened and joined the beds with one sheet. As for the food—it was very good, and some dishes were even delicious. Food was the main concern we read about in reviews before our trip, but we definitely disagree with those reviews, as everyone can certainly find something good for themselves. However, one thing we must admit—the desserts were simply bad, and we are still wondering why this was the case in a 4-star hotel with good food. There were about 6-8 types of desserts—cakes that were dry and hard, and most desserts were mousses/puddings that, unfortunately, tasted cheap and low-quality. The ice cream tasted like the cheapest, lowest quality ice cream, of course in the 3 standard flavors—vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. In summary, after getting familiar with the quality of the desserts, we stopped eating them and opted for the fruit (which was very good, like everything else). Certainly, in the case of desserts, it would be better to reduce the quantity and focus on quality, even just 3 really good desserts instead of 6/8 bad/cheap ones. The alcoholic drinks were okay, but they could easily be much better—most were very sweet, and they are not high-quality drinks. The hotel staff was mostly polite and very nice. I mentioned these things that could definitely be improved, but they were not serious enough to affect our overall rating of the trip and stay at the Alua Village hotel, which we are very satisfied with and recommend. The rooms were perfect for what we needed. The washing machine had a fault and they replaced it with a brand new one immediately. Clean and fresh on arrival and kitchen is well equipped. All staff were happy and helpful and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The location is beautiful, we had a hire car so we were able to explore freely. I would highly recommend getting your own car or you will have to get a shuttle bus service.

Come back last week with 2 kids who loved it. Don't miss out on the foam pool party once a week. We went self catering which I'm glad because the people we spoke to said the food was not good. Try and request a villa near the Reception as the resort is BIG and can be too much for a walk if you've got little ones. Pool is great and it's a safe place to stay. Good shuttle service to corralejo twice a say and is free, BUT its about a 15 min walk to the main area once you get off the bus. The staff are great and fixed any issues we had. Enjoy

Here now, great place for kids. Our grandson is loving it for his first holiday abroad. Food is typical all inclusive, some good some bad but always something to eat. Drinks are nice just the juices are not to my taste but thats preference. Pool areas are fantastic. Villa is great, love the bathroom. Plenty of outdoor space, air-con good, our balcony massive.

This is the first time l've visited this hotel resort in November 2022 so good I’m coming back in November this year and it was a stunning place. The food here was 90% always the same which was sometimes annoying but it was still nice and delicious food so that's good. The staff here are very friendly in my opinion. When I first arrived I had to pay €200 euros for a room deposit after the holiday was paid for which was not told to me by my booking company loveholidays at all which I think it's not good we should have been told as l only found out from a review. Regardless of that the staff showed us to our villa on there buggy which I thought was very nice and made us feel welcomed. On like the 4th day we had got told we had to move villas as there was a leak outside the villa but that was there when we got there so we should have been moved earlier but even so we got upgraded to a better villa even though the first villa was very nice. The villas were so nice inside. I think the bedroom in the one bedroom villa should have been a double instead of 2 singles pushed together which was a little annoying but still was comfortable and great. As were was not close to the main town we had to use the bus provided which is only 2 times a day at 10:30 which picks us up at 3:30 and 11:30 which picks up at 5:30. Would have been nice if there was ones that picked up before 3:30 l. The pools here are so nice as there is kids pools and the adults only pool which we used as that was so nice and relaxing to use. We will definitely recommend to anyone coming to the island and will be back in the future.

Absolutely awesome! Under an hour drive from the airport, not much around in the area, but the venue is great with some nice beaches and volcanic walks nearby.. But, there's no need to leave the resort though; the all inclusive was great = quick and good quality drinks, food was excellent with different options everyday that were of a really high standard. Staff were top notch and a 'free' kids club was an unexpected bonus (and our kids really loved the team, as well as the fun waterpark = they will not stop talking about it!)... Thanks for a really good holiday, we are already planning our trip back :)

This is a lovely place to come. We’ve been here 6 days and it’s been lovely. Food buffet is good plenty to choose from. Pool is nice and the shaded loungers are the one only £10 a day. Rooms are excellent and exceptionally clean. Staff are helpful and lovely but the only this is there is no air on in the rooms only a ceiling fan. Overall 8/10

We stayed here for a week & will absolutely be back again based on our stay. The hotel itself is excellent, very clean and modern from the reception to the pool to the rooms. Staff at reception are very friendly and helpful with excellent English for those of us with limited Spanish, nothing ever seems to fluster them and no request ever seems too much for them. The drain in our shower was blocked when we used it the first night & I mentioned it to the reception staff, and within an hour they had a maintenance man at the room and the issue was fixed within 10 minutes. We were on bed and breakfast for the week, the food at breakfast was always good. It is the same every morning although there is enough of a selection that this isn’t an issue. The little supermarket within the hotel itself for guests is a great little spot to pick up anything you might need if you don’t want to walk into the Castillo Center. The bar is great for drinks whenever you want them and is reasonably priced if you’re not all inclusive - although it can be a bit hectic at times, be prepared to queue in the evenings. Entertainment is great for everyone and doesn’t go on too late either (legally I don’t think they can play loud music past 11pm). The pools are great, super clean and well looked after with plenty of sun beds to go around. We never had to wait for a pair of sun beds. If there was one thing to suggest it would be air conditioning in the rooms, as the one ceiling fan in the bedroom is ok but on particularly hot days it can get a bit uncomfortable to inside.

Unhappy to leave..but when I arrived was upgraded cos' they know royalty when they see it! Breakfast awesome soooo many choices you'll be fat, id you wasn't already. Swimming pool choices but you gotta get in early as the lobsters get their towels out EARLY. Room was delightful, spacious with an external garden, seating and personal shower, fancy. Family hotel Def. Afternoon and evening shows if you go all in, we didn't as we like to actually see the country we fly too. Great price point with helpful AWESOME staff...see you all next year 🔥

Perfect for what we were after. We travelled with our young twins and the hotel was very friendly, spacious and comfortable. The room was adequate for our needs and was cleaned daily. Food was good, but drinks selection was a little limited. Would return.

Stayed here for 7 nights, the staff were very good and friendly and on the whole the hotel is in a great location. Just a 5 to 10 minutes walk to the shops and beach. We were on all inclusive and the food was what I'd call hit and miss, the week started well with a good variety of dishes on offer. Unfortunately as the week progressed the options got less. The animation team were great and catered excellently well for the children although it was very repetitive except for one night. The adult entertainment isn't worth mentioning as it wasn't very good at all. Regarding our room we initially booked a superior one bedroom apartment but where given a Delux apartment but there certainly was nothing deluxe about it, the water from the shower came out onto the bathroom floor and grout was missing in some areas. We were told that the room would be serviced 5 days out of the 7 we were there but the cleaner only came 4 times. We didn't complain about the cleaner to the hotel though because it was our last day in the apartment. The view from the patio area looked directly at other apartments sunken weed infected block paving footpath. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be returning here again. Mr Mrs D Carr.

On a lovely location at the end of Caleta de Fuste facing the beach. There are restaurants outside the hotel if you want to eat out and face the lovely view of the beach. We had the junior suite which consists of a living room with a sofa bed, a bedroom with twin beds with a dividing door from the living room. Throughout is nicely decorated. There's air-conditioning in both rooms which they could do with a clean and take a long time to cool the rooms. The bedroom has a wardrobe but no chest of drawers and there's TV in both bedroom and living room but only one channel that has English spoken and it's a news channel. The bathroom has a toilet which separates with a sliding door from the rest of the bathroom and two sinks with a bath and access doors from bedroom and hallway. Handy for a family. There's a kitchenette with utensils etc all for only two people. It could do to have cutlery plates etc for 3 people and another smaller pot for cooking if desired. You do need to buy a sponge and washing up liquid as it's not provided. There's no oven but there's a hob for two and a microwave. A small under counter fridge freezer. Breakfast at restaurant as we only had bed and breakfast booked had a good variety opens from 7:30am -10:30am . Some food can be overcooked at times and juices on machines are squashes but they do have a counter with freshly squeezed smoothies. They can cater for allergies and have all varieties of milk. The pools have salt water. There's a shallow pool for children and next to it there's a deeper one. There's also another smaller pool for adults which is quieter facing the beach. The first two facing the apartments and has a mini bar which is a bit expensive for what it serves if you are not all inclusive. There's a courtesy room ( which is actually a shower/ toilet) handy if you have a late flight and want to enjoy the pool a bit longer and also have a luggage room to keep your stuff. All hotel is clean and tidy.

Just returned from a fantastic week at the Las Salinas. The hotel was ideally placed on the beach and a short 10 min stroll to all the bars and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The pool area had more than enough sunbeds, so no need for the usual scramble. Food was plentiful and varied. To my wife's delight, they even served prosecco at breakfast(!) This hotel will certainly go into my "go back to" folder

Stayed last week of March and had an amazing time. Junior suite room was so big and spacious, with multiple balconies overlooking the pool and side sea views. The bathroom was a little dated, with DIY needed in some areas, but didn't mind since the service received and food was top notch. Cleaning service was daily and done to top standards. The pool was very cold so didn't use it and spa facilities were under maintenance. The location is great, a very big hotel with three pools, and right on the beach. Most of the staff were very welcoming and nice.

First impression is bad because the building looks old from outside but the first impression is not always right impression. Hotel is very clean. Rooms are very big, clean and comfy. Food is really good. Pool is ok. Hotel is two steps from the beach.

A clean junior suite with a lounge, kitchen, separate bedroom with a comfortable mattress, bathroom with hairdryer, and balcony with a partial or full sea view. Cleaned every day to a good standard, and towels were changed as well. Very good Wi-fi reception. The food in the restaurant is varied. For breakfast, you can find pancakes, churros, eggs, omelettes, ham, cheese, feta, vegetables, fruits, bg yoghurt, cereals, juices, bread, muffins, tea, coffee, and champagne. For lunch, there is usually one type of soup - vegetable, grilled or cooked fish, chicken, salads, vegetarian lasagna, cakes, wine - white, rosé, red, draft beer, cola. The  dinner is themed - mexican, spanish, sea food,  etc. Again several types of meat - lamb, chicken, fish, pork, pizza, burgers, salads - greek , with tuna, beans, and other vegetarian dishes, lasagna, etc. In the morning, the pool bar offers coffee, tea, cocktails, champagne, draft  beer, hot dogs, burgers, chips, nuts, ice cream, slush, and fruits. After 6 p.m., open the other bar inside, where you can find the same stuff without the food (chips and nuts only) and also shots, bourbon, cava (a sparkling wine), and cocktails. The staff is always kind, smiling, and ready to help. The entertainment is not good, and the late check-in as well (after 3 p.m.), but you can leave your suitcase in a locked room and go on a walk. p.s. We have been in a lot of 4* hotels in the Canary Islands, and we definitely recommend this one. Good location, spotless rooms, good food, friendly staff.

The restaurant needs a deep clean. The coffee machines need to be descaled. There are NO kettles or complementary coffee/tea sachets in the rooms in this 4* hotel…the carpet in the hallway is filthy and needs to be changed. The lifts are ridiculously small considering there are mostly families staying. We had to wait up to 15 minutes for a free lift with a baby in a pushchair. At times I wanted to carry the pushchair down the stairs myself. Food is pretty decent. There are a few pools you can stay at which is nice. There are a few really nice spots to take pictures. All the staff is really nice. It’s really clear that this hotel operates based on quantity and not quality. My expectations were different based on how much I paid for this holiday. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Rooms were quite nice and comfortable. Food was mid. The waiters were quite nice. Location was nice, really close to the beach and city therefore it was a really nice location. I would definitely give 5 stars although what happened here really turned my opinions around. I had jewellery in my bags hidden away safety. I didn’t really wear it as I did go to the pool and beach often. Once I came back from the holidays, I found out it was stolen, 2 rings, a bracelet with many charms, necklace and earrings. I believe it was stolen by the cleaners. Please do note no one would of found it unless they were going through personal belongings. I did realise some bags were moved a bit in the closet but I believed something just fell accidentally. This made me really mad and the hotel stated they did not know about this. I would highly not recommend this hotel if you have any expensive belongings. This situation really made my opinion about this hotel turn around.

We were here last April and unfortunately we agree with the bad reviews here. This is not a 4 star hotel and the prices for this are ridiculous. Especially now that the prices got even higher. We had to change the room TWICE because we found hair and dirt in the room. Even the cleaning ladies said that this is not acceptable. The whole afternoon was wasted arguing with the staff about it. In the end we got a nice room with a sea view that was clean. The heated pool was so full, we didn’t even get close to it. The other pool was very cold so we barely used any pool in this hotel. In general it was so loud everywhere because there were so many people! The food is not special at all. Also not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Very disappointing experience and we were happy to leave.

We loved our time at the SBH Maxorata - the hotel was beautiful and so close to the beach! There is enough variety at the buffet every day to ensure that there will be something to suit everyone and the food is all extremely fresh. The pools are kept really clean and there is just the right amount of poolside entertainment. Where our room was (-5), we had a sea view from our balcony and the way the rooms are set up, we never heard our neighbours and there we couldn't hear any noise from the bar where we were. Our toddler also really enjoyed the splash park which was perfectly pitched at the little ones.

Why didn't I read the reviews first!? This is a beautiful hotel with stunning sea views around. Rooms are clean bright and airy with good wifi connection and consistent aircon. Staff clean the rooms exceptionally well and replace used towels with clean ones, clean floors and bedding along with topping up the loo roll. They havent touched anything of ours that is personal. We were pleasantly greeted at reception with smiles from a lovely gentleman and was given a brief conversation of locations such as bars, restaurants, pools, lifts numbers and room within the resort. It was explained to us when the restaurant is closed the snack bars open (although we experienced otherwise but that's the least of our worries). We had our dinner and settled into our room. We were initially happy until it turned into a nightmare. The worst most upsetting traumatic experience we have ever had going abroad. We had a comfy sleep and woke to beautiful scenery, the sun and sea ontop of us and was ready to explore the hotel. We didn't manage to get loungers around the pools but found some in a quiet area which we were happy with. We all decided (family 2 adults 2 children) to have our very first water experience. My husband and son got in the water first, they were happy playing. Myself and my 11 year old daughter then got in. Within less than 5 minutes of my daughter being in the pool, my daughter was screaming. We aided her out of the pool and sat her down to find a large shard of glass around 3-4cm long had entered and sliced the bottom of her foot inside the pool!! Yes!! On the surface of the pool! It took 20 minutes for a first aider to come and administer first aid whilst people sunbathing around the pool assisted and helped us as there was alot of blood. The first aider cleaned the wound and bandaged it up and said wait for the doctor (doctor hours are 4pm-5pm onsite). 4-5 stitches, lots of upset and screaming, antibiotics, painkillers, 400euros and a wheelchair later, our holiday has turned horrific within seconds. For the whole week we have not been able to properly explore the hotel, have not been able to enjoy anything, participate in any water activities, fun games or entertainment and have been counting down the days till we can go home as we are still here. I have to wheel my daughter to the bathroom and help her to dress wash and sit on the toilet although she arrived fit and well on two strong sturdy legs. The hotel manager was exceptionally understanding sympathetic and apologetic. He offered us what i felt was all he could at the time, such as bottles of water tea and coffee, to reimburse us the 400euros we paid for my daughters treatment, contacted his insurance company for a refund of holiday (what he says, am yet to speak with him again but i am sure he will resolve this unless I'm nieve) and a sea view suite that is next to the doctors office and the restaurant as now my daughter is in a wheelchair and cannot walk for 2 weeks. We have to most of the time bring her food up to the room as she feels like her pride has been taken from her and doesn't like to be pushed around and we would not part from her otherwise. It seems that the staff do not want to upset or spoil peoples holiday by asking them to follow the hotel rules or they are just not bothered. I have been told by a few other people currently staying here that there are teenagers out in the pools late at night drinking and swimming, we all know this is a time when all pools should be shut off to be cleaned, but clearly not here. It is clear that someone had smashed a drinking glass in the pool and it was missed by the pool cleaners. Early the next morning staff were in the pools ensuring it was then safe to use. A little too late. It is such a shame as we were really looking forward to this holiday and really needed it. It could have been so different had this not have happened. The resort is lovely but staff need to clamp down on rules around the pool and ensure everyone in the resort is following them. NO GLASS IN OR AROUND THE POOLS FOOLS!!

This hotel is perfect for couples, families and those travelling alone. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and polite. Rooms are very clean with good air con. We had a room overlooking the street, great atmosphere too. The main pool is heated and very nice. Sunbeds are always available. Hotel is ideally situated for shops, restaurants and cocktail bars. Flicks karaoke is a must see. Great atmosphere in there. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you for making our stay a very enjoyable one 🙏😊

We’re here for 2 weeks, the staff are so friendly and very helpful nothing is too much trouble. The only issues I have is the Air Conditioning unit isn’t compatible, it’s very dated and just blows out cool air, the room is always hot and we need to sleep with the patio door open most nights. The bar downstairs has a cocktail of the day for €4- so much more cheaper than all the local bars in the area. The cleaning staff are great, they even come back later on in the day if you have overslept. I would definitely stay here again if they updated the air conditioning system. The hotel is in a great location.

Location is amazing, very close to beach, harbour, shops, pubs, restaurants etc We have a family room which is fine, very clean, comfy memory foam mattress and a great shower. It’s not 5 star but hey it’s absolutely fine. Staff seem very friendly and we have safe, return towel scheme etc. Pool area is very chilled, very quiet and a slightly older crowd I would say, and relaxed although the usual reserving sunbeds at the crack of dawn is a pain. Plenty to do for everyone. The only complaint is from Jet 2 basically dumping us off bus with no direction to hotel , google maps got us here no probs but very unprofessional in comparison to previous jet 2 trips. Beautiful views around the island and loads to do.we are self catering which I hear is prob the best.

Was here for 2 weeks the rooms are a wee bit on the small side but apart from that the beds where comfy kept really clean the service from front desk to breakfast time is good even when things go wrong in this hotel they got it right unfortunately I seen a man taking not well in the pool but lucky the lifeguard was there to help him and other people around the pool and the emergency services turned up very fast. This hotel is good and I will be back

In principle, you can stay in this hotel. The last renovation was in 2009 and unfortunately it looks the same here too. The rooms are practically furnished but with broken furniture. When you take a shower, half the bathroom floods because the shower door is not sealed. The side street of the hotel is very loud until late at night and the laundry delivery man comes at 5:30 a.m. and makes a lot of noise, then the septic tank is emptied and the glass waste containers are emptied at 6:00 a.m. The food in the restaurant is tasty. But there is not much variety. You have to pick out clean dishes. Unfortunately, with half board, you have to pay extra for a drink with dinner. The service staff in the restaurant are very polite and friendly. The access to our part of the hotel is exciting and certainly not justifiable under German building law. Conclusion: You can just about sleep in this hotel, but it's better not to be here during the day. It is impossible to get a lounger at the pool because from 7:30 a.m. all loungers are occupied with towels, even though the hotel says this is forbidden. Nobody at the hotel cares. We've had small animals in our hotel for a few days now. I suspect they're ants. They crawled out of the oven.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food and drink on offer is basic but all you need. There is a good selection at all meal times giving you the essentials. It's about a 30-45 min walk to the beach depending on which way you go but taxis are easy to get. Always plenty of sun loungers around the pool so no need to get out early with your towels. All in all an excellent stay and would come again.

Lovely clean, tidy hotel with great service, good food and pleasant staff. It only scores low in my opinion due to the location. If you want sun and relaxing only, ideal location, but for perhaps the occasional walk or the need to buy anything you are limited. The general area around the hotel is abandoned (for want of a better description) although there's a couple of mini-markets and a pharmacy should you need it. Anything more than that needs a car, or other transport as Costa Calma is fairly remote. This is nothing against the hotel though as it's fully contained. The pool music is fairly unique too, artists played in alphabeticall order and their tracks also in alphabetical order. As long as you don't want to hear anything newer than 1999, they have you covered. ;) Overall, great for sun and food. Shame the gym is closed (at the time of review, summer 2024) as it looks well-provisioned and I could do with trying to exercise off some of the food!

Ignore the bad reviews, the hotel is very nice, the staff is attentive and helpful. The food is delicious and varied. To the ocean to walk exactly 20 minutes with a quiet walk. Rooms are neat, cleaning every day. We are very satisfied with our vacation in this hotel, although the reviews about it were alarming. I recommend it to everyone!

Do not recommend it. The only reason I booked was because it was advertised it had a gym, only to find out it was out of order upon arrival. You will also have to pay to use the Spa -€15 for 2hrs. Out of the whole hotel only probably one person speaks English. Also, their staff is very rude and unprofessional. I arrived for their breakfast at 6:30 to be told then it a 7 am, and then when it got to 7 am was told it at 7:30 am. It would be nice if they had staff that speak little English. They also seem to find it very funny and begin laughing at you if you don’t understand Spanish 🙄. I also saw a cockroach in the restaurant area for dinner yesterday. Friendliness - hardly any there. The hotel was also advertised with sea views but it's at a very dodgy place. Up a hill and difficult to find. The walls are super thin, and you will always be able to hear next-door activities. Staying somewhere else and not in this hotel will be my advice.

For a hotel with great facilities, clean rooms, lovely spa and nice areas to sit by the pool and restaurants, its lacking vastly in atmosphere. Majority of the staff were rude, not helpful and quite blunt to be honest. The only reason why it isn't 1 star is because of the nice room and good food. I was not told where anything was, yet had to ask repeatedly. No entertainment, if there was, I didn't know about it. Just overall could have been a much better experience! Management, you need to review your team and work on introducing new guests to the hotel better.

Having stayed at the Ezra mar last month it as taken a while to get over what was supposed to be a special occasion. We arrived late evening and given room 230 and confirmed it had a sea view. On entering the room it was dated with wallpaper peeling of the wall and marks over the bedside cabinets. Out to the balcony and the sea view We were met with a four foot brick wall and the sea view could only be achieved if standing up, so much for all the extra cost. Down to the bar and as long as you are prepared to queue for a drink ( 2 only) as there was was only one person serving good luck. And hope you enjoy the pre mixed cocktails. There was no mention of all the steps down to the restaurant and once you had decided what to eat you still need to climb back up. Would say that the hotel is definitely not 4 star and would struggle to be 3 star. Having traveled for over 50 years there are always ups and downs but this hotel was definitely a down and miss sold as a 4 star hotel. We have had more complimentary tea bags etc in bed and breakfast stays. Catering staff need to be re trained in manners when dealing with clients. All sunbeds we reserved by towels by 8.30 in the morning after standing up and looking over our sea view balcony. Can not comment on day time activities as left the hotel the next morning to go somewhere else to save our wedding anniversary break .

I stayed at Ereza Mar as a solo traveller and had a wonderful time. The hotel was lovely, the food was great, the staff more than helpful and the massages a real treat! the hotel is in a nice quiet location with several nice walks along the coast, and 10 minutes from shops. The evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss, but that wasn’t important to me. I would certainly go again.

I recently stayed at Hotel Ereza Mar with my mum and it was lovely! The staff were friendly and efficient, the room was clean and comfortable (esp the beds). The whole hotel was always kept clean and smelt nice. Wheelchair friendly too. Could have more variety at breakfast though particularly cereals. More choice would be better like cornflakes etc. only had a choice of coco pops, sugar puffs and some clusters (not sure what they were). We weren’t all inclusive so don’t know what lunch/dinner was like. People would leave towels on the sun loungers from early morning which I thought wasn’t fair. Some towels left there for hours with nobody on them until later on. But it didn’t bother us as we only lounged on one day. Location was good. And we loved the two cats there too. Made our days seeing them.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Ereza Mar and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable and the comfort level was top notch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The only slight downside was the food options at lunch and dinner was very limited to pretty much the same thing everyday, asking for snacks at the pool bar was abit of a chore, always better to help yourself and the options was not a lot to choose from. Cocktails from a machine which weren’t very nice with staff adding different ingredients every time you asked for one so never got the same drink twice, Overall, a fantastic stay and I would give it a rating of 4 stars.

Beautiful rooms but there are no swim up rooms/pools which is a step down from our last holiday. The all inclusive food was unfortunately not very nice, not great quality. We ended up going out to eat most nights. The all inclusive cocktails were made in a machine and honestly tasted like cleaning products. Couldn’t drink them. However, the staff were very nice and helpful and there were always activities on if you were so inclined. The actual area is beautiful, with the sea right on your door step. The rooms in the hotel are lovely, clean and spacious. Definitely worth getting a room with a sea view. The sounds of the waves was so relaxing. I’ve given this hotel only 3 stars because despite how lovely the staff were and how nice the facilities were, unfortunately the food not being up to standard was a real let down for me. For us the food wasn’t great at all so we avoided the main restaurant as much as possible. But again, a beautiful location.

A perfect choice four our family of four. This hotel was well run and beautifully presented. The staff were polite and courteous. They were friendly and helpful and never stop! The room was spacious and cleaned daily. The food had a good variety and was tasty. The Italian restaurant was a nice touch too. The entertainment (Gino and Miren) was great fun and was aimed at all ages. Examples included shuffleboard, water polo, bowling, football. The acts that were bought in for evening entertainment were excellent too. Beds were comfy and showers were powerful. I had a massage too- Martina has magic hands- I would definitely recommend. No complaints at all, would thoroughly recommend.

Me and my family stayed here for 9 days . We loved it here . Very safe for children and the staff are amazing . They opened up the restaurant so we could have breakfast as we had an early flight. Rooms are very clean , the children’s entertainer is very funny and works hard to entertain the children. Loved the Reggie man night and the tribute to Motown singers. The food selection is really good as well . I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be returning. Thank you for such a lovely holiday .

We had a lovely stay at Playa Park Zensation. Food was absolutely amazing. We had both the a la Carte and the standard buffet, both were varied and really good. The staff were really nice, Maria who cleaned our room did an excellent job. I only reduced one star because I think the gym could be better, there was one treadmill which is not enough for a decently big hotel.

A nice relaxing hotel, located away from the main town but close to walk to the local beach and shops. I would agree with the 4 star rating and the things that you would say 'let it down' are probably what would make it a 5 star hotel Friendly staff, regularly cleaning, varied food, ok entertainment programmes. In fact daytime entertainment staff are fantastic but the programme needs to be split better for adults and children. Caters alot for the british but there is a mix of cultures who stay here and alot of return guests. We booked standard all inclusive but I think half board is probably better value, especially if you plan to go into town for lunch or dinner often If you just want to relax or are a couple, book the Zensation block. For families, the hotel is ideally located to do a few excursions/trips to break your trip up i.e water park, town, beaches, zoo (bus outside hotel). Everyone will have their own opinion on what good looks like for food, cleaning, entertainment etc but for a small(ish) hotel, this is great value and have made the most of everything We had a blast!

This is our fourth stay as a family of five. This year has been a challenge as much of what was included before seems to have been removed. We ended up paying for lunches in different restaurants around the resort as the buffet got boring after a few days. The marina area used to buzz in the evenings; now, it's dead, and the service is appalling. There are the same staff as before, but something seems wrong with the area's management. The evening entertainment is dated and totally out of step with the clientele. It's a shame as a resort, as the location, most facilities, and staff are excellent. We will probably come again, as the kids like the familiarity, but it will not be all-inclusive.

It was a nice location, but I found I was put in block 6 , which is far away from reception and the main restaurant, which I found to be more like a works canteen environment, having to wait and take you place on line for your daily food. Coffee machines which never worked . Basically once your at your table, your left to wander about looking for your meal along with everyone else. No table Service at all . They call it buffet food service Oh and if you need the bathroom whilst by the pool side , there a good 15 minute walk. So not a place to relax plenty of walking !!!

Had an amazing week here. Amazing area. Hotel was really clean and the staff were all really friendly and very helpful. Food was good really good choice at the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Had a great time and will definitely be returning in the future would highly recommend using this hotel to anyone visiting fuerteventura honestly haven't a bad thing to say about it.

We loved our weeks stay and it was perfect for 4 toddlers. Great location right by the beach and restaurants with plenty of pools to access. Playground by the main buffet restaurant good for kids to climb while everyone finishes dinner. Rooms were clean and well furnished, kitchenette sparse (e.g. no bottle opener) but did the job. Staff extremely lovely and helpful. As others have said the Castillo buffet isn't as good as others we've been to, but it has choice and it was better than the Mar buffet which had long lines and felt too busy. One heated pool for the kids otherwise cold pools. One huge plus is the accessibility. Ramps everywhere including to beach toilets, open concourses. Great for prams and mobility scooters.

We had a lovely holiday here. The hotel was lovely in a nice area with lots of things to see and do. The food was so nice and fresh with so much to choose from to suit everyone with a different theme each night. Hotel staff were all so polite and helpful. The animation team were fantastic and my daughter really enjoyed the kids club and we all enjoyed the evening entertainment. This team interacted with every child who came near them from the first activity in the morning until the last one at night, they really did put everything into making sure the children enjoyed their holiday as much as the adults. This is definitely a hotel I would love to come back too. They genuinely make you feel like part of the family.

This was the best family holiday we have ever had. There were 5 of us across 3 generations and the hotel catered superbly for all our needs. Staying at the hotel felt like staying amongst friends. The rooms were very comfortable and extremely clean and modern. The food was magnificent. The choices were amazing - day and night. Bar staff were so friendly and on our all inclusive package, we got tremendous value for money. The pool area was busy, but still relaxing and the entertainment staff worked so hard to provide activities for young and old alike. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. One of the best all inclusive holidays I've been on with my two children. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean with staff coming daily to tidy round. On arrival reception staff are very welcoming and accommodating with drinks ready and a small selection of food. All waiting staff and bar staff are very welcoming and friendly and always have smiles on their faces with nothing ever too much trouble. There also great with the children making them laugh!! The entertainment team are the best I've ever seen and what they have to offer is fantastic its suitable for all ages from kids to adults and includes everyone they are all so friendly and its just all so spectacular and it was so much fun! The food was always fresh and the eating areas were very clean. The chefs would go out there way to make you something extra if you had any allergies etc.

This hotel is by far the best one I have ever been to, my room is so clean and gives out so much space. The staff are so friendly, when some don't understand much English they always make sure that they get our drink order right and that is great customer service. The food here are so good and well cooked. There are so much activities here to do and there is a board to tell us what activities there are and what time they are on. The staff that are in charge of the activities make them all fun and exciting, one of the staff especially called Cynthia she is the most kind person to have for a staff, she makes everything exciting and great with the guests, the hotel is lucky to have her. If anyone wants to book a holiday in Spain this is the right hotel for a family vacation

Spent 2 weeks here in a one bed villa. Whole resort well cared for, plenty of ground staff tending gardens daily. Villa itself a little dated, kitchen minimal ( no fitted grill/ oven but plug in portable one provided) Comfortable bed, good shower. Pool only minimally heated and no cover so any heat gained in the day completely lost at night, so sadly not used at all. Hot tub also too cold to use. We booked daily breakfast was was plentiful and varied good value. Immediate area round the complex sadly has unfinished building works, wrecked cars that we were told locally had vagrants living in ( none actually seen) but the unfinished buildings does detract from the look of the area. Good security at main gate, so felt safe. Too far for us to walk into town, but taxi fares about 7 euros each way. Overall good stay.

Beautiful villa, and we only booked the mid range option. Excellent staff, the food and service was excellent. Can't wait to return. Easy access to nearby amenities and town centre. Would recommend hiring a car if you want to access further reaches of island, we did with the help of resort staff, who helped make it easy. Would have been happy without the car though as plenty to do nearby.

Had a great relaxing family holiday here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Complex is immaculate. Villas are spacious, pool is great we managed to play volleyball every day in ours. Breakfast has an excellent choice, English cooked, cereals, crossiants, meats and cheeses, fresh bread and fruit. Omelette to your liking mmmm. Great selection of juices, teas and coffee and if u fancy a free glass of bubbly for breakfast. U can ring security for a taxi and itl pick u up from villa, costs 8 euros into town. There is some bars and restaurants at several places on way into town if u want to walk but its a good 1/2 hr walk. Supermarket is 5 min walk from Complex. Spa is great and quite reasonably priced. U must try the bbq night it's to die for!! Mmmmm

Have been here on two holidays now and always had such a good time. Very good value for money for what you get. Rooms are great- really spacious nice living rooms and kitchens, really cute patio to sit out in with table, chairs and a sun lounger. Bedrooms are nice too. Pool area is great and really quiet when we go, but we’re off season. Pool bar is great and does really fab drinks and food, so handy and pretty cheap. All the staff are lovely and very helpful. They have welcome parties with food, drinks and live music. A fussbal and pool table in the reception areas and loads of books to borrow while you’re there. All in all a great stay and we’ll definitely be back at some point.

We are just leaving a 5 night stay at Buendia and honestly, it's been fab! We had a 2 bed duplex apartment with ground floor, poolside terrace. The apartments are modern, clean and have everything you'd need for your stay. The team are amazing and our welcome was so nice, free welcome drinks, a Full and detailed explanation of the accommodation and location. They have a very helpful app with lots of recommendations and ways on how to book things at the hotel. The gym was good, pool was lovely (although I don't believe it was heated as stated when we arrived - no issue though!). The grounds were very well maintained, pool cleaned down every night. The restaurant on site was nice and had breakfast options should you want it (all at an additional cost but prices were good), the restaurant shuts at 5pm but there are lots of local restaurants! Supermarket is a 5 minute walk which is really handy. Old town around a 10 minute walk with the beach and lovely restaurants and live music in the area. The communication from the team here was fab, Pablo and Serena were amazing and checked in on us regularly through WhatsApp and also kept us up to date with our transfers/how to check out early due to early flights. Although this is family friendly, I wouldn't say it would suit smaller children if you need entertainment for them (slides, play areas etc) as these things aren't there. It's very chilled, relaxing and quiet. Just what we needed! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great customer service!

We just returned from a lovely family break. We stayed in the courtyard duplex as a family of four. The space around the pool was fantastic and the duplex rooms were spacious. The overall vibe of the apartment complex is very relaxed and layed back. The apartment complex grounds are very clean and well maintained. Plenty of space around the pool area and the sunbeds are a fantastic space to relax and switch off. The pool was perfect size for the children to enjoy safely. The complex is closely situated to the old town and harbour beach of Corralejo which has supermarkets and lots of bars and restaurants. We feel very relaxed and revived after spending a week at Buendia Corralejo. I definitely recommend it over staying at any of the all inclusive hotel resorts.

Just arrived home after a 12 night stay in a roof top apartment. The apartments are modern, well equipped and spacious. Extra storage is required in the master bedroom, that was our only criticism. The complex is close to Music Square and the old town. There's an excellent Hiperdino within an 8 minute walk too. Highly recommend staying here, we've got two more bookings to look forward to. The roof top terrace was huge, a great suntrap, well worth the extra ££.

Absolutely would not recommend this hotel. Firstly in front of the hotel there’s a huge building site with a crane that you can see from the pool area. There’s constant beeping and drilling all day while you’re by the pool. If you book a room that isn’t a pool facing room, beware because your balcony might be overlooking this total mess. We travelled with our 10 week old baby and were surprised to find the rooms that are advertised as having en suites with baths have no plugs so not only is the bath pointless but we couldn’t use the sink to wash our son. When we mentioned it to the staff we given a random plug that didn’t fit and continued to struggle with the most basic tasks. The rooms are also advertised as having ‘mini fridges’ which was important for us for milk storage for our baby. Every morning after storing my formula and expressed milk in the fridge, we’d wake up to find it gone off as well as the food we’d bought from the supermarket. I also notified the hotel about this and I was told that the fridges are not actually fridges but ‘coolers’. Missing the most basic of requirements again. The room’s also don’t come with kettles which made preparing formula impossible. We had booked a ‘premium double room’ with Jet 2 and were surprised to find 2 single beds shoved together on tiled flooring. This meant that the beds moved around in the night and my husband and I woke up with a huge gap between us. We had to constantly push them back together again. The last night of the holiday our tap water came out brown. I went downstairs to notify reception and no one was there. The hotel receptionists had bad attitudes and constantly gave us stink eye. Jessica on reception was particularly awful and had zero customer service skills. One pro of the hotel was that it is clean and the cleaning staff were lovely. The buffet breakfast was nice but the buffet in the evening was cold. We liked going to Leonardo’s down the road for the best four cheese pizza you’ll ever have. Do not book this hotel!

I had a lovely stay at the Cotillo Coral Beach hotel. The town of Cotillo is quite quiet and less touristy however there are plenty of restaurants and cafes in town. The room I stayed in had a balcony overlooking the pool a comfortable bed so slept very well. The bathroom had a wonderful rainfall shower. There was some noise from the adjoining room and could do with better sound proofing but it was not too bad. The breakfast was fabulous and had a good range of both cooked and continental food. Although I stayed on a bed and breakfast basis I did eat dinner once at the restaurant and found that to also be excellent. In the evening they have singers who perform to a good standard. The heated swimming pool is large and there were always plenty of sun beds available. To be aware the hotel is currently opposite a construction site however there was not too much noise and I was not affected. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and so I would recommend this hotel.

We spent 5 nights here at the end of April, everything was as expected. Rooms were clean, plenty of choice for breakfast and there was peace and quiet! Yes we had a room at the front where they are building. Unless you sleep all day then the work doesn't affect your holiday. The pool was warm and there was plenty of sun loungers around the pool. In fact you could close your eyes and you wouldn't know anyone else was there it was so peaceful. Will definitely be returning for some winter sun! Plenty of restaurants nearby too

Enjoyed our stay here. It was just what we had been looking for, not too big or small, peaceful with good clean facilities, and comfortable sun loungers and day beds. The staff were friendly, and the service was excellent. We especially enjoyed the quality lunch available from the pool bar. The location had great access to several white sand beaches, and we had plenty of choice of restaurants in El Cotillo for our 5 night stay. Would definitely return.

I received excellent customer service from the staff after leaving my phone in the room and they put it in a taxi so I could receive it whilst still at the airport. Thank you so much! As for the hotel, it's a good place with comfortable rooms including air conditioning. I had a top floor sea view balcony room which was amazing to see the sunrise. The sun went after 1pm, by which time you can go to the beach next door. The sea can be choppy but if you walk further into town, there is a calm bay beach. There is not much around the hotel unfortunately except for a garage shop and café 10 minutes walk away. Nonetheless, the hotel provides free water, pop, and coffee in the rooms. TV channels are good including all the UK main channels. The restaurant is good albeit a little expensive. I had the grilled fillet cherne fish which was very tasty indeed. Breakfast was reasonable with a good range of choices. The only downside were the room walls are very thin so you can hear next doors TV. Also, the swimming pool is not available due to some government regulation which is a great shame. I liked to watch the ships and planes from the balcony. Enjoy the pics!

Great Hotel and friendly staff. The selection and quality of food at every meal time was amazing. The hotel is about a 1 hour transfer from the airport. We had a family room which was clean, had air con and honestly massive for the 4 of us (2 separate rooms). The swimming pools were plenty big enough considering how many guests the hotel can hold and really well kept as well as the gardens. I would definitely stay here again

People giving bad opinions are a bunch of snobs, thinking they deserve a king's and queen's treatment for some money. Is food repetitive? Yes it is, but there is a lot to choose from. Localization? Great. You can have a quick walk to the ocean or a longer one to the shop and souveniers. The view depends on what room you get. Rooms are clean, cutlery especially plates could be cleaner, but little imperfections did not affect me having a great time here.

Not a good impression about the hotel, even if could be considered as a 4* hotel. First of all, the food is awful, repetitive and no taste. I could say that happens in some of the evenings do not have any options to eat even for children. I've been in lots of holidays with all inclusive option but this hotel offers the worst food I ever seen. Loungers at the pool was all the time occupied and most of the time we sat on the grass. We paid a lots of money just to seat on the grass. You should have removed the pictures with the lagoon from the website because you are misleading people into thinking they can access this facility. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The distance to the real sandy beach is too far, activities very expensive and what you can visit here is sandy beaches but, you need to rent a car for. A day before checkout my husband ask a lady from reception if we can still use all the facilities from the swimming pools or even to serve the lunch and she said no, if we want all of this we need to pay €30 for late checkout. I said what? We have all inclusive and still need to pay for lunch… Very disappointed!

Huge hotel and very beautiful however staff aren’t the friendliest, came across very abrupt and rude. The staff member who does aqua aerobics is very nice friendly and full of energy. Thought it was weird you had to pay for the spa experience as every hotel i’ve been to it’s included but it was €15 for a hour. the spa has broken tiles and the tiles need cleaning. Food is very repetitive and not that great but it’s okay. Wouldn’t come back again, but still had a nice time despite this.

We had a wonderful one-week stay at the hotel. The complex is beautiful and well maintained. The buffet offers a lot of choice but some dishes are better than others. The staff were also super friendly. Our morning conversations with the wonderful cleaning lady Doris made the stay even better. All in all, we had a relaxing vacation and felt well looked after.

The bungalows are the greatest asset of the hotel: renovated, well-decorated, and spacious (with two private patios), they offer all the necessary amenities (fridge, microwave, stove), good lighting, and amazing views (Sea View Junior Suite). The hotel is also in a calm and quiet area, with plenty of free parking spots, which is a plus. The staff is very friendly and polite. Special thanks to Johanna, who greeted us with a big smile and kindness. The biggest downside of this hotel is definitely the food. The buffet (breakfast/dinner) has no variety/options, and the food is mediocre at best. Additionally, we were surprised to learn on our first day that drinks (wine, coffee, water) are not included. This information was not communicated beforehand. Honestly, don't waste your money on a half-board option because it's not worth it and you will be disappointed. It's better to take the 2-minute drive (or 20-minute walk) to downtown Costa Calma and enjoy the numerous restaurants. Another negative aspect was the appearance of cockroaches in our bungalow at 11 PM. We reported it immediately, but the person at the reception at that time could not help and told us to come back in the morning, which we did. They promised a better cleaning that day, gave us bug spray to use, and explained that "they are everywhere on the island and we already do preventive treatments every month." The nonchalant attitude was a bit disappointing. We understand that tropical weather comes with these cons, but still, cockroaches can transmit diseases and should be taken seriously. We didn’t sleep peacefully after that, always wondering if we would find more (we did). No compensation was offered for the inconvenience. Apparently, it's a normal thing in the Canaries and not considered a big deal. Overall, we had a good stay and would recommend this hotel, mostly because of the quality of the bungalows.

Really nice apartments, we choose with view to the sea and didn't regret it. Nice swimming pool, clean and well maintained apartments with a complete kitchen, it doesn't have a dishwasher, but we ate mostly in restaurants, we only had breakfast at the hotel. The balcony is spacious and, with the view, is great. The beach is walking distance, about 300mts via a dirt road. I will definitely come back.

Great rooms, apartments with your own kitchen, living room, private outdoor space between the kitchen/livingroom and the bedroom with the connected bathroom. We also had extra space at the from with our own two sunbeds. Very quite part of the island withe a 10 min walk down to the hill along the sister hotel building and about 15 min walk to the closest Spar shop to get anything you might need.

Nice apartments, very nice and helpful staff. But the food (breakfast in our case) wasn't good quality, everything tasted kind of cheap. The breakfast eggs, for example, have classification number 3, so it's cage eggs you're getting there! In Belgium it isn't even allowed to sell cage eggs... So, all together, in my opinion, this hotel isn't on the level of a 4.5 rating.

Hotel has infinite parking thanks to the emptiness to the south. Inside it's a little tired but still good. Rooms are more like little houses with a huge terrace, huge backyard and 2 rooms one of which had a new kitchen which we didn't use much. Most everything inside was nice, just interior doors are in poor shape and don't fully close. The cleaning was so so, I don't think they clean the floor unless asked and there's a lot of dust settling from the air. Some rooms have little privacy but ours was perfect since it's on the hill side and away from the walkway. Food was reasonable but every restaurant we visited, no matter how cheap, was better. No water for dinner is evil but I just bring a bottle with me and drink afterwards outside since we were always going somewhere in the evening. Location is amazing if you rent a car - quick drive to many cities in the vicinity each of which is worth a visit. Walking distance to many beaches and kite spots. Windy - unlike e.g. Morro Jable. The staff is nice, thumbs up to the new grill master. The pool is quite good.

Hotel looked ok when arriving, We were warned too much about break ins and robberies. Kinda put us on edge. Rooms are very outdated and needs modernisation. Food was ok although very same most days. Drinks in the evening were poor! They didn’t taste like they should have done possibly cause the staff didn’t have a clue how to make drinks. Staff were rude and assumed we were German as all guests were German. Other guests were very rude just barging other guests out the way! One rule was you couldn’t reserve beds although loads of beds reserved and no one at them. Glasses for drinks were too small so had to buy our own! No entertainment. Beware of shops ripping you off in the areas and begging you to come in to have a look. Need more reception desk staff! The safes are iffy! Beware as staff can gain access very easily! Seems like they are telling people where to rob! Safe to say we will NOT be returning. Definitely not a 4 star should really be a 3 max or even a 2 star!!

We stayed in a standard room. It was large, clean and very comfortable. All the staff are amazing. I would love to go back. If you need a kettle for your room, ask the front desk. We had two electric sockets in our room, if you need more you will need an extension cable. Taro Beach have the most friendly feral cat colony. They also have the best view at the hotel. I truly hope your experience will be as good as ours was.

Just come back from this location and stayed at this hotel. The hotel is nice and accommodating. There were about 300 plus rooms in the height of the season that's a lot of people to squeeze around the pool and cater for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So I can imagine there being a bit of a rush for food. I went in June and wasn't that busy. I can imagine. The staff were really friendly. The hotel itself is located at an incline of a hill. There really isn't much to do in the local area, such as bars or other restaurants. No doubt why its all inclusive hotel. If you're looking to explore the island, then I would suggest getting a car ( one of my regrets) If you're satisfied with sitting by the pool or going to the beach, then this is ideal. ( but I'd imagine once the hotel is fully booked spaces round the pool will be quite hard to get) The sun lungers are plastic and require the cushion, I don't think there's enough cushions for each sun lounger, so you may have to lay on the hard plastic. The food the hotel provided was nice, plenty to choose from. The drinks, I'm certain, were over carbonated, but that's just a theory.

Location is perfect. Amazing beach, in the middle of Costa calma. Close to the shops. Rooms are ok, they have been cleaned every day. We had family room with see view. Our bedroom was a bit too small but we had big living room with balcony and amazing views. Minus was a pool . There is 2 pools. 1 for babies 40cm deep another for adults , there was no pool for kids age 7-13. First was too small another to deep for that age. Mostly we spent time on the beach of the ocean. Food was ok. Very poor lunch offer. In general 3.5 stars

Our second visit and we’re just happy to be here! Lovely view, big swimming pools, just in the beach of the ocean. On our first visit the room was better but this time we have a better view and we’re spending almost whole day outside so the age of the room not that meaningful. Of course everything could be better and better but it costs also a different price😏 So everybody who are unsatisfied should just to make the budget bigger to get the quality they need😌 If you’re in a good mood you will enjoy this hotel because it is has everything for joyful vacation!

Among positives one will find vigorous animation team (many thanks), friendly stuff and good layout of the facility. Negatives: drinks, low quality of some food, stuffy air in the canteen and people reserving sunbeds at 7 am.

This resort is really good for a break. The staff at reception were polite and helpful. The room was not the best but beds were fine and we had a small balcony too. The hot water wasn’t working on the first day and I showered with cold water but I approached a member of staff at reception and they fixed it immediately. So good and helpful. The food was amazing, lots of choices every day and the cakes and sweets were to die for. I went all inclusive, unlimited drinks and food and plenty of good choices. The beach was also great. Love a beachfront complex. The only thing that let us down was the wifi as it wasn’t working at all, probably because many people were using it. Overall it was an amazing holiday. I would recommend and I would definitely return.

Nice spot. Really enjoyed it. Hotel clean and well laid out. Food is good. A little it of a walk to get to the nearest restaurant, though not bad. Night entertainment is not great and takes away from the overall experience. Shame, because the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice place and worth a visit.

DO NOT GO HERE, unless you want to spend your money and time going to an overpriced, mediocre resort. Food is pretty trash, most of it tastes like cardboard or just doesnt have any taste at all, most of the desserts were mediocre, im not sure how it is for other rooms, but in my room the only outlets were right next to the tv, there werent any above or even behind the nightstands. Service isnt good either, yes the staff are very friendly and look very overworked and tired. Asked for 2 extra pillows and they practically ignored us (didnt give us anything). They are visibly understaffed and you can tell. Most drink machines werent working, grime and water everywhere so the floor was insanely slippery. The sunbeds were by the beach, but they were WIRED TO THE PARASOL (which was rusted) so if the light was shining in your face you couldnt do much about it. The only good thing was the sea, which was pretty ok and seeing the fish was very nice. Not to even mention the INSANE CROWDING, the day we arrived (pretty late about 18:00), the first thing we did was unpack and head straight to dinner. It was PACKED, the food was at best mediocre and there was barely a place to sit. The reviewers must have been bribed by the resort because i have no idea how people could be enjoying this for over 50 years. Almost everything smells, you can tell that its just not clean. Theres pretty much nothing good about this place.

Great place, nice vacation overall. The hotel is a bit old, but fine in compromise to the scene and place and all the efforts and friendliness of the personnel. Everyday cleaning the rooms, very very accurately. Everyday new towels. Food could be a bit more diverse. For a long staying can feel the same everyday. Downsides: Too many people smoking at outside cafe/bar area...felt disgusting for a non-smoker/allergic person... And there should also be a kind of a note that the beach is CO(clothing-optional) especially for families travelling with kids.

We had a generally good experience during our stay, but there were some areas where we feel the hotel could improve. Service and Rooms The service was good, and we were greeted by friendly staff. The rooms were cleaned daily, and we have no complaints in that regard. Unfortunately, we experienced a lack of maintenance, which resulted in us having to change rooms. This meant we lost the sea view that we had paid extra for, which was disappointing. Food and Beverages The food was tasty and well-prepared, but we found that the beverages were often not refilled, making it difficult for us to get what we wanted. Cleanliness of the Area While the rooms were cleaned daily, we were surprised to see that the outdoor area was not cleaned every day. This is something we did not expect from a hotel that officially has 4 stars. Location The hotel’s location is perfect in terms of the beach and the view from some rooms. However, it is necessary to take the bus if you want to go anywhere. We recommend renting a car, as it allows for more exploration of Fuerteventura, which has many wonderful sights to offer. Conclusion Overall, we had a good stay, but we expected more from a 4-star hotel. In our opinion, it does not live up to the 4 stars it has received.

The hotel location is absolutely breathtaking taking! All inclusive food is 10/10 and I’m vegetarian and a fussy eater. More than enough options! The pool bar is pretty much open all day and when it closes dinner is an hour later. The hotel itself is supposedly 4* but I’d say more 2/3. Rooms could do with an update, if they modernised them they could charge FAR more for the stays. Staff are wonderful, nothing is too much for them and they’re all amazing! Would definitely come back again, we came as a party of 4 2 adults 2 kids.

Currently here on a 7 night stay, myself, my partner and my 8 year old daughter. We are on day 4 and can say we won't be returning. Absolutely stunning views is the best part of the holiday. Rooms are very basic and covered in tiny bugs, entertainment is non existent, the pool side music plays for 3 hours on a speaker and they say this is entertainment. Never seen the kids entertainment other than 2 people singing baby shark with a couple of kids near the sun beds and adults entertainment is usually a poor live music act that sometimes won't start until 10pm. The food and dining experience is the worst I've seen in a Spanish hotel even the 3* hotels I've stayed in. There's no selection other than pizza and chips for children, they have a kids buffet selection but I've never seen this open. My daughter slept in this morning until 9.15 (breakfast served until 10.30am) we went for pancakes as that's the only thing she will eat to be told they aren't doing anymore as they close in 1 hour. Lunch and dinner aren't much better consisting on the same things every day. Not seen any pasta for kids, lasagne, meats and cheeses (other than breakfast) no burgers, proper sausages or anything for the kids. We have had chips and pizza every day. Dining room is manic, people just everywhere, pushing to get what they want. The staff however are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. Location isn't great and will cost 12/13 euros to get to the local town as there is absolutely nothing around the hotel.

•Location: The location is not ideal, as there is nothing nearby. You need to be prepared to travel by car or bus, which is often crowded. However, the beach is beautiful. •Facilities: The facilities are basic and meet the minimum standard. The building itself needs some TLC. Play room ( with gaming machines and pool tables) only could be used with additional fees. There was extra deposit charge (€10) per pool/beach towel. You could claim it back when you return the towel, however if you wantwd to swap it for clean one you would be charged €1 each time. •Cleanliness: Outstanding. The place is very clean. •Staff: The staff are very friendly. •Food: The food was nice, but the breakfast lacked variety. •Drinks: The all-inclusive drink options were average. The alcoholic beverages seemed to be of a cheaper variety with lower alcohol content. •Entertainment: Almost non-existent. We travel a lot and always choose the all-inclusive option, and this was the worst experience we've had with an entertainment team. There were four people supposed to handle day and evening activities, but they were invisible during the day. There were no pool activities, guest interactions, or music, and the evening entertainment was very poor or ridiculous. This wasn't just our opinion; everyone we spoke to shared the same feedback. •Mini Club and Kids Entertainment: Non-existent. There was nothing for kids despite the hotel's advertised family-friendly atmosphere. The hotel has great facilities for a mini club, and there were scheduled times posted, but the mini club was always closed. It's very unfair that the hotel was marketed as having adult and kids entertainment when there was none. Had we known this beforehand, we wouldn't have chosen this hotel.

I’ve just come back from a 10 day holiday at Hotel Taimar, and feel Very Let Down and Disappointed by My trip. Advertising Photos look great, but in reality no where near the same. Advertised as a 4star hotel, but the only way this hotel could get 4stars is if The Beatles stayed there. I paid for a room with a sun-bed outside with a curtain around it but all I got was some old rusty fittings where the curtains used to hang. It’s was the same for all the rest of these types of rooms. The actual room was big and spacious with a powerful Massive Shower that could fit 10 people in it. Found a couple of dead cockroaches on two separate occasions but nothing to put Me off. The Food was ok, but got cold quite quickly but that’s probably down to the dining area situated in a Wind Tunnel. I put My foot in the “open refrigerator “, Sorry I meant to say Swimming Pool, on the first day, and didn’t got back for two days. Finally plucked up the Balls (mind you, they soon disappeared) to get in the pool and it was Very Refreshing ( that’s code for bloody freezing). The hotel is very isolated, and with No entertainment at night, and No nearby Bars or Restaurants, it was early nights every night. Hotel isn’t 4star but the Staff are all 5 Star.

This was my first holiday abroad. We arrived late after the restaurant had closed however night reception had saved some meals for us to eat when we arrived late at night. Nothing was too much trouble, Hosae the waiter, fabulous....above and beyond, all staff really nice . The hotel is really peacefull, the sound of the wind in the palm trees very relaxing. Pool and area lovely. Food very good. Very clean well presented hotel. Local shops 2 minutes walk away, very friendly. Beach , shops and African Market a short walk away- 10/15 minutes

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. No lounge type area to sit and drink in evenings, had to remain in dining area sitting on dining chairs. Restaurant not enclosed, open to the Fuerteventura winds constantly blowing through, not ideal when eating. Food unappealing, particularly the soups, and everything jumbled up, as you enter the self serve area there is griddle food, next salad, then sweets, next hot food and last is soup. Nice pool area, but no shade. Would never consider going back or recommending this hotel.

Less than 24 hours here, looking at going home. Night time receptionist rude and unhelpful on arrival. Bar shuts at 11. No entertainment. No proper music in evening for adults. Lack of tables and smoking facilities. Small pool. No loungers round the pool. Limited food. Beach too far and horrid. The island is shocking and I will not be coming back.

Hotel renovated few years ago however u can have feeling they do not care about garden, surroundings. Adult area doesn't exists - swimming pool very small like a bigger bath. Some cats in the garden so do not leave your stuff outside for the night as cats will mark it. Food is OK however short menu and spices to be added by yourself - my advice to owners please to train your chiefs. Anyway the hotel service is great and supportive. Surroundings: hotel is located in upper side of Costa Calma - far away everywhere: to the beach , to restaurants, "city center" advantage: silence. Nearby local small shop but you can buy everything u need - don't suggest of poor entrance. Overall 3+ stars for me.

I really enjoyed this hotel, it was a very relaxing holiday, but it could have been better. Good points 2 pools 1 with a party theme the other a more relaxed atmosphere. Room, nice cleaned every day with a beautiful sea view and spacious. Staff friendly enough. Just a couple of niggles food repetitive and not all drinks are on the all inclusive list which you have to pay for. Oh and if you like a G+T while taking the beautiful view on your lovely balcony, may just get a strong aroma of some herbal infusion.

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. Last year we went to a 4* in Tenerife and the standard was much higher - you can see that this one would need some renovations after so many years. The rooms were okay, but it wasn’t what we would expect from a four star hotel. However, there were some things that were really disappointing: - very bad AC. In the room it was working quite poorly, and there was no AC working in the rest of the hotel, so whenever we were playing table tennis inside or went to the disco, we were sweating and it wasn’t comfortable at all, - the food was of the lowest quality. Of course there were some tasty dishes, but most of it was bland, the vegetables and meat were dry and not fresh, and the non-alcoholic drinks were just water with syrup. It was nice to have an all inclusive, but after a few days we didn’t even feel like eating anymore because of the quality, - the situation with sunbeds was unimaginable. Firstly, not all of them had umbrellas, and it was nearly impossible to lay down because all of them were constantly reserved. At 7am there were people covering the sunbeds with towels, and one time they were all reserved even though there were 6 people in the pool. I’ve seen that in the answers here the hotel says that they have a reservation-free policy and they make sure it’s respected, but I personally haven’t seen the staff react once, - the room was poorly lit and quite dark, - minor, but still: some things were just not working. We put €1 in the air hockey machine and it didn’t turn on. We paid €15 for the spa, and it turned out one of two saunas wasn’t working. After we told the staff about it, the lady just came in, looked in the sauna and walked away, - things that are free in other hotels (jacuzzi, big lounge beds near the pool) you had to pay for, and there wasn’t any information about the prices unless you asked, - the village itself is really quiet so if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s great (the buses are not that bad either so you can easily get to the nearby towns). It was a pity though that the hotel was advertised as “close to the beach”, but the beach is absolutely not fit to just lay and relax on it - very steep, lots of stones, so it’s good for a walk but nothing else. It was quite a miscommunication from the hotel. On a brighter note, we really enjoyed the animations provided by the wonderful animation team - those people really did everything they could to make the guests have fun and they made our stay much better :) Overall, our stay itself wasn’t that bad as we rented a car and travelled around the whole island, but the hotel experience was underwhelming. We got it as a last minute offer, and we think it wasn’t worth anything more. If we had spend more on it, we would’ve been much more disappointed.

just spent a week here with friends for my birthday. Rooms were a great size had 3 single beds and still loads of room but lack somewhere to put tee shirts etc. Food was excellent hard not to find something you didn't like. staff excellent always friendly and bar staff in disco top notch. never stopped all night and after first round of drinks he knew what we were drinking. Down side the pool area had wooden decking but as of this week 29th April that has now all been ripped up and is being replaced so 1 x pool out of action for a bit. not much to do in the village there is a spar for bits but not a lot else. mixture of English French and German all very friendly. loved the cats all very friendly and very well looked after. it was a really nice way to spend a birthday was left a bottle of fizzy and a cake in the room on the big day lovely touch.

7 night stay for our 10 year anniversary. We had booked with Love Holidays so I sent the reception team an email to make sure our room was there after some parties with LH had gone into administration. Reception responded promptly reassuring the room was booked and secure. On a whim, I explained it was our 10 year anniversary and asked if possible for a sea view room. If you don't ask, you don't get. We got the sea view room with a complimentary bottle of fizz. This holiday was definitely one to remember and this beautiful room just topped it. There's a lot of negative reviews here. Yes people reserve sunbeds but there was times at even 11am there were beds free, regrettably this is the culture we live in its not the hotels fault. I had no issues getting a sunbed. The food is very selective, breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. I am a fussy eater but there was always something to eat. The drinks were lovely, not as much of a variety as I would like but I enjoyed the cocktails, wine and vodka orange. The team were amazing, special thanks to Jamal who made us feel so welcome and congratulated us sincerely on our engagement during our stay. He was so happy and friendly and the young girl who does the aquagym, she was so lovely but we didn't catch her name. Once a week they offer couples/duos free spa sessions, this was a beautiful addition and the spa at night with a free prosecco. Yes the hotel is secluded, we hired a car and the Zoo is 6 minutes away, busses are good and we ordered taxis to the next town on two occasions from the reception area. A lot of reviews slate the location but again, not the hotels fault. Research before you book. There's a SPA supermarket close by with everything you may need and we even went to a little sea front restaurant close to the hotel on our visit. The only downside I have is the AC, it is very poor but I took a handheld fan and kept this by my face when doing my makeup or sleeping. By night 3 I had forgotten about the AC.

Staff: 4/5 - Staff were all very friendly and would at least attempt to help whenever they could, even if they could not solve issues. Rooms: 3/5 - The rooms were large, beds comfy and the view of the ocean was nice, but they were dated, and as referenced in other reviews, the Aircon was extremely poor. We had it on the coldest setting, and at no point did we feel it was cool enough, particularly given the 30+ degree heat outside. While the view was nice, it also came with noise late at night from people drinking and chatting until the early hours. The fridge simply wasn't at all cold, and there was also no iron. These seem like really basic elements in a hotel room, so it's a shame that they haven't already been addressed. Food and drink: 2/5 - while there was a large selection, it was generally low quality. I'd go as far as to say a lot was tasteless, if not bland. This was particularly true of the desserts. It felt quite repetitive, but I think this is somewhat expected and counter balanced with the broad selection. The alcohol selection was extremely limited, and nothing tasted great. The cocktails were pre made out of a machine, and the spirits used were clearly cheap. If you wanted anything half decent, you had to pay extra. Lastly, only getting free alcohol until 11 when the bar stayed open until 1 felt a bit cheap. We've paid for an all inclusive, not a 'mostly inclusive' holiday. Facilities - 3/5. I loved the fact there was a quiet pool, and a pool with more of a 'party' vibe. We spent all of our time at the former. The pool temperature was also perfect. Even if the pool was a personal highlight, one small negative there was we'd have to walk to the other pool for a drink. Another would be that there weren't enough umbrellas, which is problematic when it's simply too hot for anyone to sit in the sun all day. I've read in other reviews references to people reserving sunbeds with towels, with staff saying they would crack down on this - there was no cracking down at all in our stay. People were putting towels down from early in the morning to reserve sunbeds, and by noon you were lucky if there were any left. You either had to play the game or miss out, the staff simply didn't do anything at all to stop this. The 'nightclub' downstairs felt like a huge waste of space, and only really highlighted the need for a better bar area upstairs, which was dead. With the limited Aircon, it wasn't comfortable staying in there for too long. The gym was limited, but fine. It had a decent set of dumbells (max 20kg) and a barbell rack, alongside most of the basic machines you would expext. Again, air conditioning was an issue. It gets very hot very quickly in the morning with the sun beaming in, so to find the Aircon not working on more than one occasion, with no staff able to turn it on, was very uncomfortable. The spa facilities looked good, however, it too was lacking. It's not included in the all inclusive, you have to pay €13.5 to access it. The hot tub was tepid, and the cold plunge not cold enough. The steam room wasn't even on, and again, no one seemed to be able to help. The sauna and fountains were good. Location 3.5/5 - This feels harsh, as it depends on what you're after. There's nothing other than a small few shops in the local fishing village. It's very quiet and there's almost nothing to do. That's great if it's the vibe you're after, but again, it depends on you and I'm the absence of local entertainment, you're reliant on the hotel. The beach itself is cool to look at with the sand being black, but it doesn't make it that appealing to spend time on. The beachfront is a convenient running spot if you want to get some steps in as the beach front is about 1.5k all in, so we managed to get a few nice runs in. Cleanliness - 4/5. Rooms were clean. Other - Local cats get a special mention. They wander around the hotel, often chilling around the restaurant area, outside, and by the pool with guests. I liked having them around, but can appreciate others may not.

I am quite a critical person myself, but I find it unbelievable how some people complain about this hotel in their reviews. We booked all-inclusive and didn't regret it for a moment. If possible I would even give Sotavento 6 stars. Of course it's not perfect, but you won't find that anywhere. We had 10 wonderful days here. We enjoyed the sun, sea, beach, swimming pool and the food. And such nice and hardworking people work here! They do everything they can to give guests a nice holiday.

Hotel was pretty okay but sadly there are ALOT of cockroaches in the hotel rooms and most people if the service are just rude.

Apartment is musty, smelly and dingy. Bed smells like vomit. If you don't speak German then you will have to translate any signs and information. There is very little assistance provided by staff. Most do not speak English. For half board you have to pay for any drink with your meal(including water). The ground floor apartments have no privacy and you are warned to lock even when in the apartment due to theft. The safe is charged daily if you wish to use. Food is not great glumpy and rice burnt onto trays as if been left in situ for long periods of time. If your looking for a relaxing time, do not book here as you will be left on the edge and the whole experience is uncomfortable and a massive let down.

Hotel is german managed and staffed, all activities in German. Spotted some cockroaches around the walls outdoor. The original (double) room smelt bad because of piping bathroom. Dinner buffet 1st night of poor quality, breakfast + buffet other nights good. Hotel manager offered a better room + wine + fruit basket to compensate. We were also offered a refund of the remaining nights if we preferred to change the hotel. + friendly staff + satisfactory compensation + quality buffet was good (except for night 1) + location right at a nice beach + clean facilities, well maintained - rooms, terrace furniture & pool chairs outdated - hotel area deteriorated/ abandoned - kitchenette includes coffeemachine + cutlery, but coffee filters and detergent must be purchased separately.

Everything is on site. Literally: Shops. Gym. Pool. Beach. Food. An ATM. Bar. Theatre. Restaurant. Fast wifi. Etc. It is very family centric. Party goers might find the hotel quite passive. If you have kids and want them to adventure the hotel for a couple of days and be fed endless food from a huge buffet, this is the spot. Large kids park and small soccer field with daycare for kids. Rooms were a bit dusty but otherwise everything about the hotel is very very nice.

On the edge of the village, so pretty peaceful except for planes passing over which are quite high still and no real issue. Hotel is beautiful, clean, three pools, lovely friendly staff. Big room, fridge, nice sized balcony, and a drying rail on the balcony too. We had a intermittent problem with our door lock, a guy came and fixed it in less than ten minutes, impressive. Rooms are cleaned daily Food is good, it's a buffet but there's enough choice anyone should be able to make a meal from it, drinks choice varied, queues not bad usually. There's a small shopping centre next door with a Spar for those forgotten items. Our child's a teenager, but we can see the kids club keeps younger kids well entertained Next to the sea so cool breeze helps keep temperature under 30 usually, but remember this is an Equatorial region so UV is very strong and sunscreen is a must. Sheltered lagoon out the back of the hotel with a quiet beach, cross a cycle/pedestrian path and you're there If I ever come back to Fuerteventura I'll be looking to see if I can come back here 100%

We visited 2 years ago and returned as my now 4 year old has the most amazing time. The animation team are excellent. All very friendly and very energetic. My 4 year old enjoyed the kids club (with dad as he was shy), and the entertainment they put in throughout the day and evening is just brilliant. He in particular loves Pepe and Francesca was so lovely trying to encourage him to get involved. The energy from them is great and always try to get guests involved, without being pushy. We would visit again based on the staff. Brilliant holiday again thank you 🤩

Really enjoyed this hotel. Area was quiet and relaxing. The food was excellent, couple of themed nights and always something for fussy teens/kids ie pizza, chips, hot dogs etc. We went half board. The rooms were super comfy. Hotel run activities were good and great animation team who seem to work long hours. Also a games room, spa and other sports on offer. Room card didn't work, so had to be reset at reception, which seemed a common problem! Plenty of sunbeds to go around, biggest pool not heated but second pool with jacuzzi is. Beach right on doorstep, beautiful golden sand and gentle waves were just perfect. Sunbeds on beach are not included. We used a towel but because the island is windy, you get covered in sand and prob best if staying on beach to get sunbed. Planes flying overhead but didn't really bother us! Close proximity to airport! Remember to save or print hotel voucher for smoother check-in! Lastly, hotel shop has some good stuff. Enjoy 😉

This is the second time we have visited Elba Carlota and we can't wait to return. It truly is the most magical and amazing place. We had a gorgeous room 547 with a pool and side sea view. Our whole visit was just superb, the food is amazing l, there's so much choice. There's absolutely no rush for sunbeds ever, there's always plenty and no need to ever rush down for them. The entertaining team work so hard and provide fantastic activities all day and night..our boy loves them and Pepe the ant. The kids club is just brilliant with a soft play. The reception staff are so helpful, cleaners do an amazing job, the bar staff and waiters just work so so hard. Nearby you have the local Spar shop with everything in, local restaurants, a market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Chipmunks to feed on the beach. Elba Carlota, you are a magical place and we can't wait to return! N Smith

Rooms, food and entertainment day & night were excellent... Oh and the beds are the comfiest ever! Love the location right on beachfront. Such a stunning hotel! The reception, dining area, pool area were all amazing and beautiful. The rooms were lovely and very large and spacious but some of them need a bit of maintenance, there were a couple drawers which were broken and needed to be fixed but other that, one of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The hotel staff were mostly friendly and really nice, some of the staff were a bit rude and didn't look like they wanted to help. The food staff were all amazing and very nice people and always did their best to help. On the food, it was nice at times, unfortunately some of the food was plain, not seasoned and not cooked properly. The BIGGEST issue was food not being labelled properly which was mentioned in other reviews before. Most of the food is labelled wrong so you have to guess what was in it or had to constantly ask staff. There were many times things had pork in it which my partner and I can not have but we had to guess if it was pork or not. Food labelling really must improve!! The other BIG issues was cross contamination; the same utensils used to cook pork was also used to cook veg which is a big no no especially for vegans, vegetarians or non pork eaters. I had to ask in the morning for our omelettes to be cooked somewhere else as they used the same utensils and cooking area to cook omelettes with pork in it. The team were really happy to accommodate for this but something to think about for sure. The pools and other facilities were really nice, the pools do close early because dinner starts very early which is something to think about. Overall the hotel itself was really nice and beautiful but the food issues need to be addressed urgently for health and safety reasons, religious reasons or dietary reasons.

This is a fantastic hotel for both grown ups and kids. The facilities are great and the rooms are really nice. This is the best hotel we have stayed at so far in Fuerteventura and we have been at many different hotels on the island. Food is also really good. The only remark is that the food could have been marked better - this especially important for people with allergies. We will definitely be back in the future!

Moscow Mule a must try! Sun loungers always available,Pools great, kids loved the splash park. Brilliant access to the beach. Staff really friendly & really try to keep the queues for drinks to a minimum! Entertainment in the evening was good and started at a reasonable time for the kids. Thanks for a great holiday !

Enjoyed are 10 day stay at this hotel We were very happy with the entertainers especially Nicole and Sergio they made us feel very welcome and interacted with my daughter. I do feel like the hotel lacks a bit in the evening entertainment the few parties we attended were great but could be more. I also feel there could be more for English as there is a lack as I said we were lucky with the 2 entertainers.

We have just returned from 10 days at the H10 Tindaya. 4 adults and 2 children (aged 1 and 4). There was plenty for everyone to do. Kids club (although we didn't use this) play grounds, splash park, adventure golf and the go karts were a huge hit for the kids. Adult daytime entertainment running with various activities like aqua gym, volleyball, stretching on the beach, games, dancing lessons and much more. The pools were great, the pirate ship with slides and also the warmer pool by the pool bar had entertainment too. Foam party every Wednesday lunchtime in the top pool was a huge hit with everyone too. Only a short walk down to the beach directly from the hotel. Lots of chipmunks to feed if you wanted. A few nudists every now and then. Beautiful sandy beach with sunbeds (at an extra cost). The food was lovely and varied. Same with the drinks. Also the route 66 restaurant has amazing food! Highly recommend going in there! All the staff were friendly and helpful. Charaf in the buffet restaurant exceptional service and very good with children, always keeping them entertained during meal times. The rooms were lovely and spacious with fabulous views. We had a sea view junior suite and was perfect. Cleaned every day by the maids who do a fantastic job. Our room also had shampoo, Conditioner, shower gel, moisturiser, shaving kits, dental kits etc too. The whole hotel was clean and tidy. There's a couple of little shops inside the hotel where you can get some snacks or souvenirs. The only negatives would be: Sometimes the queues for the bars could be a little long. Mainly when they had just opened though so if you go slightly after it was better. The beds are very hard, so if you like a soft mattress be prepared! There's not much outside of the hotel but as the hotel had everything you didn't need to go out! We were worried when reading all the other reviews but honestly Overall we had the best stay at this hotel and would 100% go again!

We found this place after browsing some package holidays. Decided to book directly and had a great deal. Definitely worth checking the nearby hotels by the same brand, they look very nice too. We had an “underground” room that was a little like a cave but good to get some rest overnight. The layout is just a bit dated and mostly 2 levels, both accessible, but the top one having the benefit of a balcony at the back. The lower level has a front balcony but it does come with a few issues too. We had 2 rooms as travelling with family, and left a couple of swim shorts out to dry at the end of the day. Both disappeared even after being strongly tied to protect against the wind. We asked at reception for the lost and found but it wasn’t there. We can only assume it was taken by someone. Apart from that, the service around the resort is amazing and we would definitely consider to come back. The staff is polite and respectful, really good at the restaurants and bars and the children’s activities were also very nice. The great, almost exclusive beach is just a few steps away and there are some shops within walking distance if you need to buy something. To sum it up, it was still a great experience.

**Terrible Experience Due to Unprofessional Management and Zero Customer Service** I am writing to express my utter disappointment and disgust with the unprofessional conduct and complete lack of customer service at this hotel. After the travel agency FTI declared bankruptcy, the hotel management decided to take us, paying guests, as hostages in their financial dispute. At 10 PM, the hotel manager locked us out of our room, even though we had a small child with us. Despite the late hour and the fact that we were traveling with a young child, the manager demanded that we pay for the entire stay on the spot. We had no choice but to comply due to the pressure and the unsuitable conditions for our child. It is entirely inappropriate for a guest to be caught in the crossfire of a business dispute between two companies. The behavior of the SBH chain and this particular hotel is beyond unacceptable and severely tarnishes the reputation of hospitality in this location. It seems that tourism is not a priority for the Canary Islands if this is how visitors are treated. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel or any other managed by the SBH chain. This experience was not only distressing but also an absolute disgrace to what hospitality should represent.

Amazing place! Amazing staff! Amazing locals! The hotel and services are 4 star. The apartments are 3 star. However, they are very clean and functional. It's an all inclusive hotel, so I didn't need to use the kitchenette. Please note, there aren't any cutlery, plates, pots and pans. It is empty. However, they do have a mini fridge microwave and two hob cooker top. We brought our traveller kettle.We travelled with two teenagers. In the living room, there were two single beds and the master bedroom with two singles together (see photos). We were on the ground floor. We were in the apartments around the 800s. It was not far from the beach....1 to 2 minutes . It was not far from the main pool or restaurant....1 to 2 minutes. We did not spend lots of time in the room...so 3 star standard rooms is not a problem. We hired the safe for the week due to previous comments about break ins. However, we did not experience any break-ins. We hired the cabanas (pair of beds with sea views...€15). The only issue was the sun loungers (holiday makers were grabbing sun loungers around main pool extremely early in the morning and marking them with their towels). The food is amazing....lamb, beef, pork and chicken breast, different varieties of fish, cheeses, salads and everything else! It is a chill out holiday...it you want more than that, go to Tenerife or Grand Canaria. Beach is beautiful, especially when it is not windy...the sea is calm. Snack bar around main pool offers late breakfast (after 10:30am), lunch (burger, hot dogs ,chips etc..). After 4, its cakes and pastries. Soft drinks and alcohol flow throughout the day until late. Overall, an excellent scorching holiday. If you're a 5 star traveller or a 4 star traveller in other parts of globe, you may disagree with my comments. The three amigos (Millenials - Tuesday night)and the magic showman ( Thursday nights) was amazing! Monica Beach hotel needs to keep calling them back for nightly entertainment (10/10)! It would be nice for the hotel to provide a full on disco with a variety of genre played. Also, an adults only night. If you want a service with a smile, guaranteed sun, good food and special memories with family and friends. Go for it.

Just came back from our visit to SBH Monica Beach resort and we absolutely loved it! We were sceptical about going at first based on reading some negative reviews almost to the point where we nearly cancelled but we went anyway and we are so glad that we did. This hotel is a massive site and we ended up with a full apartment for the week, the rooms are slightly dated but was very spacious and well kept. The cleaners are very on top of maintaining the whole hotel and are all very friendly and quick to say hello which made us feel very welcome! We were worried after reading some of the reviews about the food but we couldn’t fault it at all throughout the week, there’s plenty of option and variety to choose from- it was always warm and fresh too. The waiters were also very quick to take plates away once finished with and were also very friendly and polite. We also found the drinks to be very good too and it was nice to have branded soft drinks available on tap. The location of the hotel is perfect for a relaxing holiday with the beach being on the doorstep, however if you do like getting out and about there isn’t much in the surrounding area. Excursions can be booked or you can rent a car directly from the hotel’s reception if you’d like to go out and explore though! We decided to get on the coach to the local zoo which is only 10 minutes away which was great and not too expensive. For some reason this hotel seems to be very German guest dominated, some of them were slightly rude towards us but it didn’t effect our overall stay, there wasn’t many others staying from the UK like ourselves. Overall we had a lovely stay here, we can’t get our head around some of the negative reviews left about this place, for what we paid it’s extremely good value for money and we hope leaving this review will encourage more people to go despite some negative reviews found online. Monica Beach Resort is a nice, clean, friendly place. We were lucky to be placed by the beach, which is stunning, wide and long. The room was cleaned daily ( even under the bed ) food was tasty, supplied thought out the day. Tobogan (only one working) was open between 12:00-16:00, swimming pools could be used until dark. Evening entertainment was inside, guess due to never-ending wind. Fuerteventura is a windy island, great for people who do not like hot weather. The temperature was never above 30 degrees in the first week in August. The restaurant was placed at the top (we were at the bottom by the beach) so we had to walk up hill to be fed haha, but because of this set up, there were plenty of sun beds (not all placed by the pool) facing the sea - it was stunning. Sun beds at the beach were 5 euros each, the same for umbrella. So 2 beds+umbrella came to 15 Euros per day. overall, we enjoyed staying at the resort, and would return

Half board stay with my family in May 2024 and had a few days in our villa with no Wifi, which was frustrating and disappointing. We had contacted reception and a man came to look at it and said that he just started 2 months ago and that we will have to wait for his colleague to come and fix it the following day. No one actually came to fix it after all! Also, we experienced poor service from the waiter Antonio, who was very rude to us because we asked simply where to find a item in the restaurant and he seemed like he didn't want to serve us, as he throw his hands up in the air, walk off and mumbled something to herself in Spanish. This spoilt the rest of our stay as my partner wasn't comfortable going for meals. This is our 3rd time in Fuerteventura and will definitely not consider stsying here again. Its nothing like the Bahiazul Villas Resort that we previously stayed at (better villa, better service, better environment etc) which is definitely where we will be going back too.

Delightful hotel which is very different from the soulless corporate buildings nearby. Lovely gardens and wonderful self contained rooms. The breakfast choice is absolutely wonderful. We had bed and breakfast so did not eat an evening meal in the hotel. The restaurant that adjoins the hotel (Restaurant Del Gato) is outside the security gate - the food was quite good but the building itself is somewhat lacking in atmosphere - it is a pity they could not bring this restaurant into the grounds so that you could eat outside in the cactus garden rather than a dated marquee. It was also a bit strange for a 4 star hotel that you had to pay for coffee in your room - this would normally be free. The hotel itself would benefit from having a bar in the evening where you could chill with a glass of wine.

Relaxing, quiet, great for escape and chill out time holiday hotel. Great location, walking distance from the beach. Very friendly staff. Suits are very clean, with the advantage of your own garden/ sun bathing area. Great choice of food for breakfast and excellent service. I was pleased with all the facilities within a suit and within the hotel.

The hubs are amazing spacious and well thought out with private court yard easy access to beach however jacuzzi, air con, tiles could be given a little TLC! The main concern is the restaurant breakfast area. I don’t know why hotels employ people who don’t smile, are unapproachable and ask if you can afford the menu before you can even sit down. Took one look at the place and walked out plenty of other better locations for food on the beach. Don’t go half board go Save you euro and go out for food

It's a good value for money place with 101 rooms only, which stands for a pleasant and quiet relaxation, unless you are  unlucky to get a room near one of the playing areas (or you do not mind this, of course). The hotel is clean. Not even one insect indoors :). Food at our stay was fine as for all-inclusive standard. I mean - at each meal we managed to find sth tasty or even delicious, but I would switch the morning prosecco for much better bananas, for which canary islands are so famous. But, we never lacked anything to eat or drink, and the staff never saved on alcohol :). As for kids, there is no slider in this facility, but the two pools are large and deep enough for all, and not crowded. Plus - unlimited ice cream and pizza everyday make it all for chlidren anyway. The pools officially close at 18:00, but you can stay longer and nobody says a word. True, all sunbeds were "illegally" booked in the mornings, but we could easily find something free from let's say 12:00 on and later. The hotel is within a walking distance from the city's main street, the harbour to Lobos island and the waterpark, as well as the city's beach, but to enjoy the best beach in the area (Granda Playa), better hire a car or take bus no 8). You can theoretically walk via the dunes, but there are no walking paths on them, which makes it a bit long and challenging (not even sure, if legal). Another option is to go through the long and nice beach coast, but the area until you reach Granda Playa is a nudist zone (!!!). Be aware of that, if you still decide for a walk with your minors. The car indeed seems far the best option, and you can book it in the hotel reception. Better drive a bit further than the two RIU hotels, and then you will truły enjoy both the dunes and the ocean's beach. If you stay at the pool, ask what special attractions are planned for this day. We accidentally took part in the foam party and the water basketball match. True fun. But staying in the hotel and Corralejo alone will not give you a real taste of Fuerta. Again, at least a one day car charter is worth your earned money to come here. Driving to the mountains and stopping at the best viewing points (search for "mirador" in your map) will reward you with some stunning views and a bit of adrenaline thrill. Oh, and to lure the squirrels - just pour some water into the palm of your hand, and they will come to you thankful.

We have just returned from a 7 day holiday with our family. The first holiday ever for my 5 month old baby too. The hotel was perfect for our stay. Huge, comfortable rooms with spacious balconies. Food and drink options were fantastic and themed nights helped make meal time different each time. Entertainment was good, just wish the room was larger to fit more people in as it got very busy and often we ended up watching from afar. Shout out to Rens aka tropical Jesus who made our holiday with his entertainment day and night. He made a holiday with a baby not feel so daunting and had us all laughing most days.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel... rooms are very clean and the staff are great. The entertainment venue is way too small, food is repetitive and frankly below par for a 4 star hotel. The restaurant is a thatched 80's tiki bar vibe area. Very outdated and again small. The pool area is again very small and on some days even in May there were a lack of beds for everyone. It's not a bad hotel to be honest but if you do want 4 star, I'd look elsewhere. The sister hotel the Arena Beach is a 3 star hotel and in my opinion better

Very nice little hotel, food was okay and rooms were very nice. Not much choice for activities within or around the hotel, only really got one entertainer who really is entertaining (Ren) other than that it’s a bit bad. Around the place there isn’t much, the main town is about 20 minutes away and it’s a nice place a few good shops and bars and what not but other than that there’s not much around other than the sand dunes and the ‘nudist’ beach near by (no indications that it is nudist but there were clothesless people there but it was rathe secluded) Wouldn’t go again but it was a nice little place so enjoyed it while it lasted.

Fabulous hotel.good variety on the buffet. Restaurant had some outdoor seating with Fabulous views overlooking the cacti and the sea. and nice quality food.room was spacious. Everywhere was very clean. Pool lovely and plenty of sunbeds.people left towels to reserve sunbeds even though there was notices not to do this. The indoor pool was very quiet and warm. Lovely! Only drawback for me as a single traveller was no nearby bus stop. Overall, a Fabulous hotel for a complete getaway, relaxing holiday.

Best food I have ever had in a hotel. Best choice of Drinks and the facilities are clean and well run. However the entertainment and activities need work. Need more of the classics like a quiz night and karaoke. It's these things that create a community amongst the guests at that time. This is no fault of the solo member of the animation team. He is doing the job the hotel are asked Ng him to do and he is doing it very well. I really enjoyed the water polo.

This was my first visit to Fuerteventura and it will not be my last. H10 Esmeralda has a friendly staff and great food. Tracy was so helpful with a couple of issues that came up for me while i was staying. The main restaurant has a very good range of food at each sitting. The staff are quick to make sure you have your desired drinks, which was good. There is always plenty to go around and when a selection is running low, the staff are quick to replace. A great experience for me for my first visit. Thank you.

What a wonderful vacation at Playa Esmeralda. While vacationing in Mexico, we heard great things about H10's resorts on the Canary Islands - and were we not disappointed! Service in all aspects was exceptional. The staff are extremely punctual, friendly, and consistent! They go above and beyond for their H10 members (nightly turndown service, chocolates, etc.) And from beef cheek -- to beautiful beef tenderloin -- all our meals at the Privilege restaurant were superb. Further, I have never stayed at a cleaner hotel. The resort is also located near a very cute, beach town - and on the southern portion of the island - which provided clear, blue skies everyday! We hope to be returning one day.

THE STAFF STEALS: The hotel boasts a strategic location that allows you to reach all the highlights of the island by car in about 45 minutes. If you want to stay in the hotel with tranquility and enjoy the structure, you will be lucky enough to have one of the most beautiful beaches on the island just a few steps away. Unfortunately, my opinion of the hotel was tainted by an unacceptable theft of the airpods by the staff in my room. When I returned to the room in the early afternoon I noticed the presence of an iPhone (not belonging to my family) attached to the charging cable in my room. Having noticed the cleaning staff's trolley a little further ahead, I decided not to take the iPhone and not to report the incident to the reception so as not to cause harm to the person. In the evening, when I returned from the beach, the external iPhone was no longer there, too bad that in addition to having taken the iPhone back, the Airpods placed next to it were STOLEN. Before reporting the incident, I meticulously checked every corner of the room to avoid creating an uncomfortable situation for the staff who were cleaning the room. Having accepted the fact that the Airpods had indeed been stolen, I decided to report everything to the reception. Even though I knew that they would be unlikely to be recovered, I reported everything to the reception, also providing information on the color of the iPhone in the room, on the cover and on the details, hoping that they could question the person who had cleaned the room and verify the veracity of the story by looking at that person's iPhone. Following my report, the hotel manager, a blonde lady, Priscilla H., showed up and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, preferred to ask me questions like: - Are you sure that the iPhone couldn't have belonged to a "friend" of your girlfriend? - Why, if you found an external iPhone in the room, didn't you take it directly to the reception? Completely diverting attention from the fact that the staff of his hotel had first of all made a mistake in charging the phone in my room when they were no longer present in the room, and above all secondly had committed a THEFT. I asked the manager if he could kindly check who had come in to do the chores, and if he could ask if they had taken the airpods by mistake. In the following days I did not hear from them again. It is shameful and indecent to immediately commit a THEFT on vacation by the Staff of the structure where you are staying, but even more shameful is the TOTAL INDIFFERENCE OF THE MANAGERS OF THE STRUCTURE.

When I was booking this hotel, on the pictures available was different impression. All looked much better, newer. On the Internet was stating that it has entertainment, animation. However hotel is in much needed refurbishing condition. Only entertainment was 2 singers evry evening and they would finish at 10:30 pm. After that you could only go to your room or stay drinking at the bar, no music. Rather boring environment for a 4 Star resort. Little town outside of resort looked rather dull too as lot of facilities were permanently closed. Renta car in the hotel was quite pricey and rest of them outside of hotel were all booked. We went to Tenerife last year and it was different story. Hotel was as the pictures showed, there was a lot to do around and prices were very reasonable all around. We did had a good rest in Costa Calma Palace and good time chilling on the pool, also staff was good as well. But as a person who traveled around the world, I feel like this resort needs major updates or lower the starts to 3 as it's not fair to pay the price for 4****. Wish you success in future.

I highly recommend this hotel. The Rooms are clean and spacious, the food is delicious and staff is helpful. The lobby is truly Amazing and the view from elevator is something I can't get bored of. The hotel has 2 very big swimming pools and is almost at the beach so it is very easy to rest and chill. City of Costa Calma is rather cute, small and, somehow not surprisingly, calm. You won't find there crazy clubs but the hotel is close to some nice bars, shops and restaurants where you can find whatever you may need. Overall, amazing stay.

First of all, that’s not a 4 star hotel, it’s a good well located 3 star, but nothing more. To make it clear: 4-Star Rating Four-star hotels offer loads of special services and amenities, including concierge services, fine dining, multiple pools, and hot tubs, high-class fitness centers, bellhops, room service, valet parking, day spas, limousine services, and an array of special suites. This hotel, don’t have a room service, everything you have to pay over: You want a towels - pay You want water in the room - pay You want late check out - one hour cost me 35 euros You want a safe box in the room - pay There is no shampoo no any creams, you will get only peace of soaps if you want more , first they don’t have second for what they have you have to pay. No restaurants, no food, not well working system, because hotel is very old and not been renovated for decades. Bad internet. Very poor breakfast, with sardines from canne. I was very upset of this visiting… and it’s not cheap hotel. If you count all the “over cost” I should take a good 5 stars for the same price and be happy with results. Here I never will be back - that’s for sure… And the cherry on the cake - the last day before you leave, your keys stop to working, so if you want to go to swim in the ocean, you have to go back true reception which is far away from everything and wait for the opening the door. Super uncomfortable Incredible bad !

The hotel itself is well kept. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and polite but I rarely would see anyone smile at guests. The rooms were basic but had everything you need besides a kettle. Small fridge was great to keep our water bottles cold through out the day. We changed our first room because our view was piled up bins. The pools are great as one is heated so perfect for kids. If you're out in the afternoon, the pool bar serves food through out the day so you can still have a bite to eat. not that much on for kids but the beach near by made up for it. Short walk to arcades and shops.

Mixed feelings about our experience. We definitely don’t think it matches a 4-star inclusive experience. We booked the normal inclusive package (we were afterwards informed that there is a “premium” package). With this package, you’re only allowed certain drinks from the bar, which are not premium and definitely are straight from a box (the mojito had a chemical bright green color, and we were not allowed to have the virgin versions of these “cocktails” unless we paid extra). You also need to pay for some things such as ice cream, fresh orange juice, iced coffees. If you want a bottle of water for your room, you also need to pay for it. You only have one towel for the pool for your whole trip and you need to pay a deposit for it. You also need to pay if you want to get it washed. I had definitely never experienced this before. Rooms are very simple and clean. Make sure to ask for a room that isn’t too close to the bar, otherwise it will be pretty noisy in the evening. Food is good although quite simple. We would have loved to have more Spanish specialties at the buffet. However, it was still quite varied with a salad bar, warm options, cheese platters and dessert as well. The hotel is very conveniently located 5 mins away from the beach and from the city with lots of local shops, restaurants and bars. Animations were more catered towards children. We loved aquagym with Stephan, but we wished there were more animations for adults in the evenings. However, the service is lovely and very caring. Special thanks to Kelvin from the bar and Stephan from activities! Their smiles and energy were precious.

However, the interiors seemed a bit outdated and I lacked modern solutions. Unfortunately, access to the WiFi network was limited and in the room the signal was very weak. Still, I remember the stay nice and I am happy with the choice of this place.

We're at the hotel right now. I rate the whole hotel positively. Food good and plenty. Drinks excellent all day. The evening program every day is good. Rooms cleaned every day. Staff willing and smiling. I miss the little coffee mugs at breakfast. If you are used to drinking espresso, a really big mug might bother you. It would be enough to use the small mugs that are available at outdoor bars. But it does not spoil the overall impression of the hotel. I would definitely come back.

The rooms are average. The pool area is nice and it's a few steps from the beach. The food is terrible, very bad quality produce, and dishes that aren't finished at one meal are just badly made into something else over the next couple meals. Main issue was that nothing is labelled with proper allergens. My partner is allergic to fish and constantly felt the effects of his allergy due to the girls being swapped from cooking meat/fish every meal. He was also constantly getting dishes then realising it had bits of fish throughout. All the cocktails are from a machine and the 'juice' is just concentrate mixed with water. Not really what you expect from 4 stars. Another main issue is the sunbeds, there are signs throughout the pool area explaining you cannot reserve them however nearly every sunbed is covered in peoples towels by 8am who don't come to use until at least 11/12. We ended up moving peoples towels as to the instruction of a staff member we asked. We had a big issue with a family of 10 who had 'reserved' 10 sunbeds with only 2 people actually there. The management dealt with the situation very poorly and it is clear they don't enforce their own rules which led to this altercation. I asked 3 staff members for help and no one helped. Poor management.

I can not praise this place enough, the hotel is amazing, the staff lovelly, Jonathan at the pool bar is a legend, the cocktails definitely not water down lol..... the pools lovely, the beach insane, the food, well there is something for everyone, I've never had such an enjoyable holiday. Can't recommend enough, if your not sure, just book and go you will not be dissapointed, my only regret is we stayed for just 1 week! I will definitely return one day! It was a great hotel! The hotel and the garden was clean. We enjoyed every minutes ;) The pools were beautiful but not too warm :D The food were varied, and delicious. You need to pay for the safe (I do not like it, because it is a safety equipment). If you are thirsty when you wake up at the middle of the night, you can’t find useable water machine in the hotel, so you need to thinking before night, and carry some water to the hotel room. They were a lot of program in the hotel, which were very enjoyable (Specially thanks for David, Claudia, Laura, Lorenzo, Claudio, you are the best team, and my friend Jonathan who is the best Barman in the whole island ) All in all we are satisfied, and we can recommend this hotel! Thank you for everything!

Great hotel — amazing beaches in walking distance, rooms are nice, food is good, pool is big. Spa is not included but is priced reasonably and is worth it. Overall very satisfied, no major complaints and would definitely be back again. The only thing that is lacking is hospitality of the reception staff, some folks are nice but some are impatient obnoxious and rude (Priscilla). If I were the hotel manager I would pay some attention to that as such small things can make or break the whole impression of the stay.

This is our second time at an R2 hotel in Costa Calma and we were very happy with the hotel, the beautifully maintained gardens and of course the stunning sandy cove directly in front of the hotel. Fuerteventura is all about sandy beaches and a year round warm sea for swimming in. However it can get windy so the sheltered cove in front of the hotel is one of the best on the island. This hotel caters mainly for German guests so expect German style food, European firm mattresses with single duvets and huge pillows. My wife found the pillow too thick so we asked for a thinner one at reception and it was delivered to our room ten minutes later. The rooms are cleaned daily and we had the same cleaning lady all week which is reassuring. Internet reception is good in the hotel so if you have Europe wide roaming and unlimited data you can save the WiFi charge. We will be coming here again.

We stayed for a week at the Esencia by Princess in the middle of December. Temperatures were around 23° and sunny all week. + The Esencia part of the hotel is really beautiful + Esencia only restaurant with quality food + Esencia only pool is way less busy + Spectacular sea view + Rooms and the balcony are large + 18+ area with hot tubs, sauna & pool + Housekeeping is excellent + Location is good for exploring the island + Overall very nice staff + Fast Wi-Fi + Card payment ~ the beach is beautiful but crowded and you have to walk down a bit ~ the 18+ area should be closer to the Esencia premises ~ overall a family resort, a lot of children and parents who like to drink ~ parking is limited - the lighting on the ceiling of the balcony is automatic, it starts in the early evening until 11 and you can't turn it off.

The hotel complex is huge, if your a couple don't miss the adult only pool and area near the back, we didn't see this place till the 2nd to last day! The Esencia area is great and feels very exclusive, especially the bhali beds, number 4 has best view of the sea. The staff were all really friendly, the hotel was really clean and safe and had the most amazing views of the beach and sea.

Our first visit to this hotel and wow, absolutely incredible place. We stayed in the adults only part of the complex and we were amazed what a difference there was to our normal holidays with the children. The room with pool view was large and well equipped with a coffee pod machine, fully stocked drinks fridge ( replenished daily), bathrobes and slippers. There is a separate checking in area for club members which adds to the exclusive feeling of this hotel. We were treated very well throughout our stay. The food on offer was amazing. The dedicated restaurant offered varied menus every night. With a choice of a meat, fish or vegetarian option. If these were not to your liking there is a small buffet available in this restaurant. Failing that you could eat in the main eating area which had a separate area for club members and the choice of food on offer would placate any fussy eater. There is a bar above the dining room for club members which was staffed by 2 different staff during our stay and both of them deserve mentioning as they provided exemplary service and as a hotel you should be very proud of them. All in all this has to be the best holiday we have ever been on and all I can say is thank you for msking our stay so memorable.

Nice resort and great staff. Like everywhere we went on the resort our room was immaculate and the gardens are extremely well tended. We went all inclusive. There was always a huge variety of good quality well cooked food on offer in the dining hall. We were lucky to have a room near the main pool and lunchtime buffet/bar. Perfect! We didn’t see much of the evening entertainment but what we did see was good. We walked into Corralejo every day - what a great town with fantastic bars and restaurants.

I booked the Alua Suites to celebrate my 80th birthday with my two daughters their husbands. Our family always celebrate special birthdays with a nice holiday, and although having been recently widowed decided to go ahead. We opted for the My Favourite Club and requested rooms close together, which was arranged by the hotel. Every member of staff we met, from Reception, Restaurant, Bar and Cleaning were absolutely lovely. The My Favourite Club area was amazing with its own pools, bar and restaurant for Breakfast and Lunch. We also tried their Evening Restaurant and the Main Resort Restaurant. The variety and quality of food on offer was exceptional. My daughters arranged, with the help of the staff, to provide me with a lovely birthday cake. It came presented by the chef and other staff members who serenaded me with “Happy birthday”. It really made my day. I can’t speak too highly of Alua Suites, we all said it was the best holiday we have had and will be returning as soon as we can.

Wonderful resort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful including cleaners. Entertainment crew were great but could I suggest alternative prizes for winners? Not all the customers drink alcohol! Would definitely avoid school holidays as there was an influx in our last day and no space in the pool and the queues for food were terrible. Recently stayed here with the family for a week. Room was excellent and the air conditioning was a great. Rooms were cleaned daily. The all inclusive food was up there with some of the best I’ve had. Plenty choice for each meal. The king prawns were beautiful. I loved the location just far enough away from the main noise of the town but close enough to walk to. We came for a much needed break and chose this resort due to its reviews. I can honestly say we were not disappointed by the resort. Our room was very clean and tidy and the maid very friendly when saw her. She also did a great job. The areas around the rooms and the grounds around the block were very clean also. The restaurant food was always well presented and plenty of choice. Staff were helpful. One stood out, Judith who was very pleasant and greeted us at the door and spoke to us and explained things when we first arrived and was always happy. Pool area and bars were looked after, the only one thing I would say was the bar at night sometimes had a bit of a queue to get served at.

Hotel is very clean and well located. Like many Spanish Islands, the attitude towards tourists is mixed but you definately realise not everyone wants you there. The service is very inconsistent, and it is noticeable that nobody at the resort smiles when you meet them. The rooms are excellent and are very clean. The food is on a par with any five star hotel. The all inclusive system is a real mess though with several menus stating contradictory information about what is included and what is not. We checked several times to see if drinks had been added to our room bill as it was confusing for staff also. The resort is a small town with shops, bars, and restaurants. The beach is clean and costs 20 euros for a bed for the day. Sand is typical canary island mix which is fine to walk on but the sea is cold compared to the med. The spa is used my locals for fitness classes, has a small pool and sheltered bed area. The island is known for its wind so expect a steady strong wind every day but the design of the hotel makes sure you can sit by the pool without it being a problem. All catering for UK tourists so no real cultural experience to be had. 15 minutes and 10 euros from the main airport. One final comment, as we went through the passport control to fly home the passport control officer made a derogatory comment about the UK and skimmed my passport across the desk....... Clearly animosity about the tourism/property prices issue. We came here thirty years ago and won't be going back, not because the hotel was excellent, but because a significant percentage of the population simply don't want us there

Hi all, Me and my girlfriend stayed in this resort for a week and I have to say I’m struggling to find fault! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms and entire hotel was clean and tidy. The location was fantastic with an amazing beach 2 minutes walk away. The pools were clean and huge! There was always free sun beds to use as well. The food was good too, the only thing was the buffet got a bit same old by the end of the week, but there was plenty of restaurants near the resort if we fancied a change. Had an amazing time. Excellent stay Stayed here for a week in May. Colleagues were all helpful and friendly with a special mention to Owen, Santiago in the bar and Luis in the restaurant who always went above and beyond to remember you and help. Food was excellent and varied. The AI drinks offering was excellent, I would never expect to go AI and be able to choose from all brands. Some cocktails aren't included on AI but I'd say this is a good thing because everyone ordering cocktails leads to long lengthy queues at bars. We did order some cocktails and paid for them and they were exceptional. The communal areas and rooms are all very clean. Rooms are spacious. Location of the hotel is ideal, beautiful beachfront location with well kept gardens. Sunbeds always available. Will return

Superb. 4th visit. Will return. Rooms and public areas are beautiful, spacious and all very clean. Staff are friendly which can really make a difference when on holiday. Plenty of sunbeds spaced out and not crammed together. Food is fantastic, varied and we were very pleased with the all inclusive drinks offering. I emailed the hotel in advance of our stay to check the dining room dress code for men as I'd seen different reviews and received clear guidance. Hotel is located in a flat beautiful beachfront area which is ideal for any family members who don't like hilly areas. The hotel gardens are very well kept and provide a beautiful surround. Colleagues who stood out this holiday: Luis in the restaurant (as always), Owen and Santiago at the bar - always busy but do their utmost to provide the best possible service with a smile.

Lovely hotel, well located on a quiet road off the main street, 10 minutes from the old town and less to the beach. Great accommodation, 2 storey, with most rooms overlooking the pool. Spacious with separate bedroom and bathroom, light,airy and clean. Our room had 2 balconies, front and back, so a sunny spot all day if you want it. Lots of sun beds and 2 pools with shallow area and easy steps for access. The grounds were well maintained and lifeguard on hand. Restaurant was fabulous, great variety of food at every meal to cater for all tastes. Some great wellness choices, detoxing juice, fresh fruit and veg dishes, all laid out beautifully. Good options for AI drinks and with the pool bar something available to eat and drink all day! Service was excellent, staff friendly and helpful. The animation team were very enthusiastic and lots of activities each day. Very happy stay, would definitely recommend and hope to return!

What a fantastic holiday. I am so glad we stayed at H10 ocean suites the complex is amazing. Staff are absolutely fantastic and all do an amazing job. The only reason I give 4 stars for the room is we booked 10months ago and fully paid 8 months ago and our room was on the first floor with no lifts and our apartment was on the end and had a view of the wall of the apartments opposite. But to be honest this did not spoil the holiday. There was entertainment for an hour each night. We went all inclusive plus which meant premium drinks and the staff definitely didn't skimp on drinks. Food was a buffet but the choice is immense. I would definitely go back. Thank you Ocean Suites

My husband, 6 year old son and I have just returned from 5 days away here. We had an absolutely incredible time. The staff were attentive and courteous in all areas, from reception, kitchen, bars, restaurants and kids’ club. We must do a special mention to Ola(Alexandra) from the kids’ club too who was superb along with other members of the team who ensured our boy had a fantastic time when with them. The pool areas were fantastic, perfectly designed for those with kids / families or without. Food was always plentiful and always replenished quickly with a strong variety. We would have given the room 5* but unfortunately, we did have rather uncomfortable beds and could have done with a little more room as the sofa was used as a bed for the duration of our stay. We will be back! Perfect location too.

We went out for the Easter holiday. Lovely hotel with two pools (not seawater). There is a quiet pool and lounge area and a separate pool and lounge area for kids and their parents. All meals are buffet style with plenty of choice and quantity. The quality of the food is very good, but not outstanding. Certainly on par with the hotel's rating. If you are all inclusive, you can swap one evening for their serviced restaurant at no cost. Suites were spacious and cleaned daily. There is a slightly fangled process for changing the beach towels provided. Lunches are in the buffet restaurant, but there is also a snack bar, that the kids preferred, that did burgers, pizzas, chicken strips and onion rings! The town and all it's shops and restaurants are only a short walk away, whilst the fantastic water park is only a 10 minute walk. Would highly recommend a stay.

We have just stayed at this hotel for a week on a half board basis in a superior junior suite. This is the most relaxing hotel we have ever stayed in. No problems with sun beds always some available during the day. Food is delicious and staff all very nice. Nothing is a problem to them. Close to all amenities if you need shops, restaurants or supermarkets. Would highly recommend

Fantastic hotel. It's small, and very quiet but in an excellent location, 1 minute from the main street and beach. The food is excellent, fantastic choice and high quality. Consuela and the rest of her waiting staff were brilliant too - so kind and attentive all of them, and so accommodating with my mum's food allergies. The rooms were nice and modern with great sized balconies (however I felt it lacked storage for two people if staying for more than 1 week). All in all, I thought this was a brilliant hotel, best we've stayed in Corralejo and we will come back.

Amazing Hotel and staff. Everyone is kind and helpful during my stay they helped me out with every issue I had. The Hotel is located in a perfect spot, next to the beach and the shopping mile. The Hotel H10 Ocean Dunas is a really quiet hotel, a perfect stay during the vacation to calm down and enjoy the days off. I stayed here for a few weeks and I indeed don’t have anything bad to say about, especially nothing about the receptionists, who were helping me out every time I needed something. You can definitely feel the familiarity of the whole staff which makes it for me one of the best hotels I‘ve ever stayed at. Definitely worth to visit at least once in a lifetime. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for making my stay at H10 Ocean Dunas unforgettable!!!

Everything about the hotel is fine, except there is not enough space for all your clothing. Service was great in all departments. A nice touch was fresh honeycomb at breakfast. Unfortunately our room was facing onto Avenida Nestra Señora del Carmen, so we had to suffer the noise from taxis, taxi drivers and people wanting taxis. This continued throughout the night, as people were continually wanting a ride home after drinking and partying. The Rock Cafe opposite is noisy, but closed at midnight so didn't affect us. In addition to the noise from the taxis, there was a loose grate in the road that rattled every time a vehicle drove over it.

Rooms are very comfortable, and spacious with a massive bed. Cleaned thoroughly daily. Safe, minibar and kettle all in the room. Good shower and double sinks in the bathroom. Adult only place so was relaxed, with a mixture of all ages . Poolside entertainment a few times a week. A small gym on site at no extra charge. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the bar was always under-staffed. Sometimes it took a long time to get the water bottles filled up, especially around lunch time. Guests should really be able to help themselves to the water after buying the green bottles. The restaurant staff were excellent and the food was very good,. Yes it's the same menu but there is enough choice to have something different every night. Hotel is in a good location, close to town, beach and music square, but peaceful at the same time.

Hotel in perfect central location, so access to all areas whilst also away from the hustle and bustle. Rooms are very nice though the internet isn't so great in ours. This wouldn't put us off coming back. All staff have been fantastic, but a special mention of Paula and Jessica in the restaurant who are always smiling 😃 and were very helpful-we're going to miss you.

My overall experience at H10 Ocean Dreams was mostly pleasant. The staff was friendly. The lobby inviting, well decorated and clean. There is a pool with loungers. And each room seems to have a little balcony/ terrace area. The room was clean with basic amenities and a safe. However I had to borrow an iron from reception which required a 20euro cash only holding deposit with no flexibility of using other currencies or placing a deposit in any other way. Most times there was only one worker at reception which would lead to long waiting times for simple inquiries. The hotel did have some form of entertainment in terms of live music, however this boutique hotel is more suited for a quiet, relaxing stay rather than a lively one. I haven't used the spa, so can't comment on this. But there was a well equipped gym to use at your disposal. Overall I had a nice stay at this small boutique hotel for 3 days in May.

Enjoyed a 7 night stay here. The rooms were clean, pool area is great with plenty of loungers (though we went in May when it is probably quieter than peak season). Food was very good quality and the staff were fantastic through, very helpful and friendly. They even left a bottle of bubbly in our room given it was my girlfriend's birthday, which was a really nice touch. I would recommend if you are looking for somewhere in Corralejo.

The building and food are four star hotel standard, but the service certainly wasn't. There wasn't one main thing that let it down, but several little things. First, the oranges ran out one snack time, and rather than quickly popping to the kitchen to restock them, two bar tenders were happy to spend a lot of time explaining that there were still apples. Try explaining that to my toddler who wants an orange. At night, I wanted to get my water bottle filled up, so I asked at the bar, and the guy basically just shrugged and said something in German that I didn't understand. Language barrier maybe, but you know that I want some water and you're a bar tender; how do you not have water?! Then we had a cricket in one of the vents in the room, which kept us up all night, so we told the desk the next day, and they told us they would send someone to take a look. That evening, we asked again at the desk if someone had checked the room, and they said no because we were basically making it up and the cricket was probably outside. By that point, we had given up with the level of service and just suffered through two more nights with a noisy cricket. There were a few other things but too minor to mention. On the plus side though, they were quick to deliver extra pillows when we requested them and also to send over someone to fix a leaking toilet (it didn't get fixed but we appreciated the effort). The food was pretty good with a decent selection, and the location is great with a short walk to an awesome beach (we often wondered why anyone was using the pool with that beach on the doorstep...) and plenty of shops nearby. The rooms were comfortable, though the kettle and cups were a mystery as there were no teabags or coffee sachets to make use of them. The bottle of water each morning and the chocolate Easter bunny on Easter Sunday were also appreciated. Finally, the WiFi was awful, but we didn't spend much time in the hotel anyway as we were mostly at the beach.

Not a 4* experience, more like a 3* rehabilitation center for seniors First of all I’d like to compliment the restaurant and cleaning staff. They were all very kind and always had a smile on their faces. Spacey and clean rooms. That’s about it with positive aspects of our stay. Big issues: - we were put in a room with an entry next to a gate where all the delivery trucks and carts were making an impossible noise FROM 5 AM. The door didn’t have any sound proofing so we might as well have slept outside. The next day we asked for a different room and thankfully we got it. But no apology, the lady at the reception desk was clearly tired of the same problem happening over and over again. - Rooms are big, but not equipped for the 21 century. Three electrical outlets, and non of them by the bed… so if you want to charge your phone/laptop/ipad/smartwatch you have to sit by the desk to use it at the same time. - No toiletries in the bathroom. Just a soap dispenser that looks 20 years old. Small issues: - We were given the wrong supper times on print - No ‘do not disturb’ sign in the room - The tv signal was cut of every 15 minutes and there were mostly German channels - The first two kettles we had were broken (one wouldn’t turn off, one just did not turn on), had to ask for a new one (again, no apology from the receptionist) - No tea or coffee in the room - No recycling bins - You have to pay extra to use the indoor pool- why? What is the difference from the outdoor pool? - I emailed the hotel about dietary requirements like a week before my arrival but no one has gotten back to me To sum up: if I could I would turn back time and book a different hotel. General advice for people considering: if you are under 60 years old this might not be for you. This is a place for German seniors. No agism from my side, just saying. I do prefer this to hotels for kids which tend to be louder.

We have been here for six nights so far and the experience has been very good. The location is beautiful but there is not much to do outside the Hotel, and the car rental is a bit overpriced in the hotel, i would advise you to get a rental from the Airport if you are planning to explore the area around the Hotel. There are lots of activities going on and you can keep yourself busy, the kids club is amazing and my little one loves it, the staff are very friendly and they offer two 2.5 hours sessions a day. The rooms are spacious and clean but the air condition sounds like a tractor, i am sure they would change the room for us but we didn't bother to pack and unpack again. We are travelling with an infant and the guys at the reception were very helpful and never let us down, they do their best to make your experience better. The place needs some maintenance, but i could see that they are working 24/7 to do the repairs, but at the end, this is the season and they cannot do much. But I think for the price you are paying, it is good. The only downside i would say is the food, the offer variety of dishes, fish, meat, chicken and lots of salads and vegetarian options, but we are not very happy with the hygiene and quality of food, i would rather have less dishes with better quality, but again for the price we paid i think it is good. There is a supermarket here and laundry rooms, it cost 5 euros to use the washing machines. The restaurant and bar staff are very friendly, but it is a busy place, do not expect 4 stars service. Overall our experience is good and we are not disappointed, and hopefully it will be better the next time we visit. I took some photos at 5:30 AM while i was trying to secure a nice place in the pool area and I would encourage you to do the same, especially if you are travelling with children 😀

The location of the resort is beautiful, with easy access to the beach and breathtaking ocean views. We returned from our 7 night holiday here last week, we absolutely loved it. The food is really tasty always a big variety, restaurant is clean and has a separate corner for kids to get their own food which we thought was great, cleaners came every day to clean the room, also found all of the staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. A special shout-out to Brayham on the entertainments team, my son loved him, he’s great with kids. We stayed in block 18 and the sea view was amazing. The only downside we found was that there wasn’t much on for smaller kids. We came as a family of 4, 2 kids being ages 3 and 4, and the only thing we really found for them was the 30 minute kids disco at night. Another downside is that the pool is freezing cold but you do get used to it after a while. Overall though really good stay and would come again 🙂

The only downside we had, was the rooms air-conditioning wasn't working. Apart from that, this was an amazing place. The food and service in the food court was exceptional. What really made our trip, was the team, especially Alessandro, and Diego. Always with a smile on their face, trying to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, and their energy while running activities was something I was in awe of. Highly recommend going here, you will not be disappointed.

Sorry, but not the best experience. 2 * If you're staying in a room with a pool view, avoid being above the gym. I specifically asked if it would be quiet, but at 8 AM, they have gym classes with extremely loud music that makes the walls shake! There are also a lot of hidden costs: - This 4-star hotel charges a daily fee for using the safe box. - Half board doesn't include water at dinner. - When we checked in, the receptionist told us we could rent a parking spot daily and wouldn’t be charged if we didn’t use it (they said they could verify this on CCTV). We didn’t use the parking at all, but to our surprise, we were charged for the full 8 days. After a heated discussion, the receptionist finally removed the charges. Also, don’t come 5 minutes late to breakfast just for a coffee—the waiter was rude, moved us to a different table without courtesy, and didn’t treat us kindly. (We only got in after asking if it was okay.) It would be nice if breakfast hours could be extended to 11 AM during the summer—after all, this is Spain. **Note to the hotel:** Please avoid copying and pasting generic template apologies. If you truly want to address the issue, email me privately with a compensation offer rather than just trying to look good on social media or in reviews.

Laying in my bed on my final night here unbelievably sad to be going home. Everything exceeded my expectations at Barceló Corralejo Bay. The rooms are very large and the beds are like coulds!!! Every single member of the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We were always well taken care of. I was surprised by the range of diversity in amenities and activities offered to guests. I particularly enjoyed the ceramics class and the flamenco show. The dining hall always had a variety of option so even the pickiest of eaters (me) would not go hungry. The pools were wonderful, very relaxing and the perfect temperature. I took advantage of the spa hydrotherapy circuit which was lovely and recommendable however I do feel that all guests staying for more than 3 nights should have one free entrance to this circuit rather than it being an extra expense. Finally, a special shout out to the pool attendant, Jorge, he went out of his way to greet us each day and we really enjoyed speaking with him and getting to know him. The attention to detail and care that the staff of Barceló Corralejo Bay put into their jobs really sets it apart from other hotels. I look forward to returning in the future!

Wonderful hotel and so much more. I stayed here for two weeks in June All the staff across the board are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely spacious rooms. Great size bathroom and nice sized terrance/balcony. Only a short walk and you can either go into the centre of town or the beach. Hotel is great as well for excursions as there is space outside the front for buses and minivans to collect you. I stayed half board and I cannot rate about the food enough. The best hotel restaurant I’ve eaten in. Such wide variety and everything is different each day. Fresh produce. Incredible I would stay here again in a heartbeat

Room I had was spacious with a big balcony with view overlooking the pool and to my right you can see the sea and lighthouse.. Free spa area to use but you pay for treatments, I had a head and face massage which was nice and relaxing.. Got on well with the waiting staff in bar area .. the area outside of hotel is good with some great shops and good restaurants..

noisy hotel only 2 stars worth! it is definitely no "quiet oasis" because if the forced party tourism everyday(!!) in the hotel from 9-11 p.m. loud music vibrating through the whole hotel. the room itself is in need of redevelopment: large gaps in the balcony door, when you shower it sets the bathroom under water because of missing silicone joints in the bathtub/shower. the hotel is near a discothek (tortuga) with loud music and people screaming from midnight till 4 a.m. on the weekend! You have to pay 1,80€ per stay for the safe. The safe itself is a pile of junk and wasn't functioning several days. It wouldn't close the door or showed Error. The two stars are for the really great staff and the selection of food! Mostly elderly german tourists seem to book this hotel so you will be greeted in german instead of spanish especially at breakfast/dinner. We can't recommend this hotel and won't come back!

We stayed here 5 days with a toddler beginning March. It was a great stay. Food and drinks were very delicious. Especially the fishes on grill in dinners were amazing. We could try every day 2 different kind of fishes. Stuff is very friendly. I would recommend getting the all-invlusive option. The wifi was a from time to time unstable. The location of the hotel is great. It is just in front of the best beach in Fuerteventura.

+ Very nice hotel, clean and well maintained, well located and conceptually designed. Food was absolutely amazing, perfect taste and quality, selection was sufficient. The quality of the coctails and other drinks is also good. I have to simply recommend their all-inclusive program. - Long waiting time for drink order at the evening bar. Sometimes it took more than 25 minutes till somebody noticed us. Men must wear long trousers for dinners. The funny thing is that the ladies don't have regulations. There is no fan in the bathroom where is also toilet. The hygiene bags were also missing. Poor wifi throughout the hotel.

The hotel is amazing—we had a room with an incredible view of the lagoon. This is our second stay at Innsie, and we’ll definitely be back. However, this year I feel the need to share some feedback, and I hope it’s taken seriously by the administration to keep this place as wonderful as it is. Firstly, the bar at lunch serves mini portions at prices that don’t align with the rest of the amenities. The portions are definitely not enough for an adult male. For example, 2 shrimp tacos cost 17 euros, but there should be at least three. The same goes for drinks; we had several Bloody Marys, and they were inconsistent—different every day, which isn’t ideal. Secondly, I hope some maintenance can be done. This is a harsh environment with plenty of wind, and it takes its toll—things need repainting, and some areas could use a little upkeep. I hope this feedback helps! I love Melia and will certainly be back.

Amazing location, great staff and services. I had some special requests, which were also handed very well. The food was great. Small minus was having to pay € 2.50 at dinner for 33 cl bottles of water. For this reason, we went in town to buy big quantities of water. Overall a great experience, hope to come back in the future!

This is a decent 4-star hotel and I would be happy to recommend it to others. Positives: Clean and modern. Good location in a secluded area. Near a lagoon and beach. Most of the staff are friendly, especially the lead member at the check in desk. There is evidence of daily maintenance of the hotel. Negatives: The room is missing bath robes, slippers and tea making facilities. For half board, no soft drinks are included, not even water. If the above could be addressed, I would rate it a 5. The hotel has ample car parking when I was there (March 2024). It is also genuinely separate to the sister Meliá hotel. I really liked the pool. By my estimates, it is a 25 metre rectangular pool, which means we can actually swim in it. The temperature was also perfect for swimming - not too hot or cold. The breakfast and dinner buffets are satisfactory for the size of the hotel. For dinner, they typically change the "main event" each day e.g. baked salmon, roast pork, suckling pig, roast chicken, beef ribs etc. There is also a decent selection of pastas, salad, cheeses, bread, dessert.

It’s been two weeks since we returned from our 7 night stay here and we still think about it and miss it every day! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was fabulous. Big rooms with big balconies and great views - we had an INNSiDE sea view room. Great shower with lovely smelling shampoo and body wash (in big reusable bottles, so much more eco friendly). I’ve seen some people complain about two twin beds being pushed together, but we actually preferred that. It was very comfortable, we had no problem being close when we wanted to, and it allowed us to not disturb one another if moving around in our sleep. We heard our neighbors one night, but on the whole, noise was not an issue for us. Also, plenty of storage space to unpack your bags and two big full sized mirrors. The food was wonderful - one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever seen. Tea and coffee are included with breakfast, as are a variety of juices, water, Prosecco and DIY Bloody Mary if you want one. Dinner had a wide variety every night, with plenty of options for vegetarians, pescatarians, and vegans (although admittedly not as much as the others - but still pretty decent). We sometimes had to wait for maybe two minutes for someone to seat us, but that was also not an issue whatsoever. They take your initial drink order when you sit down and then the rest is up to you. I’ve seen other reviews complain about not being served and/or dinner drinks not being included. It is a serve yourself buffet, and there are plenty of staff available who are happy to help, so if you want another drink all you need to do is ask. And as for the drinks not being included with dinner, that’s clear when you sign up for half board, so I’m not sure why people are surprised. Handy tip - bring your own water bottle, as there are plenty of water coolers dotted around the hotel to fill up if needed, or just ask at one of the bars and they will fill it for you (the tap water is fine). We did this and never had a problem. We also bought lunch here a couple of times which was delicious. Overall the food far exceeded our expectations - we’re not normally all-inclusive people and have very high standards for food, and this place has definitely changed our minds. As there is only one restaurant for dinner it can get a bit samey, but honestly, it was great. Evening entertainment every night at the Ginger Bar, with ample space to sit, and stretch out, and relax at the end of the day. The pool was wonderful and had the most comfortable lounge chairs (shoutout to the lifeguard Rafael who was always such a help!). We were worried by some of the reviews that it would be hard to get a chair but again, never had a problem, and we weren’t going there until after 10am most days. Mid afternoon might be more challenging, as might be some other peak times of the year, but our experience was that there were more than enough. You can walk directly on to the beach, and then walk for miles in either direction, which we did basically every day! For a more formal workout, the gym there has everything you need (plus a water cooler). You just need to ask for the key at reception. If you want a relaxing, comfortable stay that’s away from everything else, this is your place. Friendly staff everywhere (especially Julia (?) and Simon and the team in the restaurant, Lorena (?) and Sacha at reception, and previously mentioned Rafael). Gorgeous location (honestly, the best we saw on our trip). Stylish and cozy atmosphere. Resident cats and hedgehogs. What more could you want? Perfect, perfect, perfect. Can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, fully refurbished in a peaceful and quiet location, The room cleaners are the best I have ever seen and all staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Highly recommend if you have younger children and want to relax. The facilities are also great and the pools are clean and you can see staff cleaning and taken pride in the hotel throughout the day.

Here currently and it's a nice all inclusive for a sun break but be warned it's VERY BORING!! There's almost no nightlife, the "entertainment" finishes at about 10pm and then then the bar staff are entirely focused on closing up and going home. We got to their bowling alley at 10:15 and they wouldn't let us play because it takes 20mins!!?? Maybe nice if you're over 70 but it's a seriously dull boring resort in the evening with amateurish entertainment not even free drinks can get you through

A family friendly place, service personal that is always smiling and keeping everything clean, delicious food. The beach is really beautiful, just a small walk away (300m). Some rooms could use a renovation (which I heard should take place in winter 2023/24) and the lunch room can get pretty noisy, but other than that, I can really recommend staying here.

A fantastic vacation. We went with a toddler and felt completely at ease there, he was particularly thrilled with the pool, play areas, beach and food. It was safe, clean, super friendly and the amenities are great. The food is very tasty, and a big selection was always available. It’s not just a family spot though, there were loads of couples and plenty of activities and quiet spaces carved out for the no-kid crowd. We rented a car but ultimately didn’t use it except to and from the airport as there was no desire to leave the comfort of the resort. That said - I’m glad we did have the car as it was a nice easy drive and we passed some beautiful beaches worth a quick stop. The resort had plenty of parking. It really had it all. We rate is as one of our top getaways.

Loved our stay here. Very friendly staff, very clean. Food was yummy and different everyday. My kids loved the heated pools, couldn't get them out. Also the entertainment team was great and fun. Rooms are equipped well, beds are good, bedsofa was a bit hard. Only downside was the air-conditioning in the room that worked very poorly.

We have previously stayed at the Barceló Fuerteventura Mar, but decided this time to try the Barceló Royal Level Adults only. The staff were very attentive. I liked the separate living room and bedroom and the little touches like bathrobes, water bottles every day, padded sun loungers were nice. Pool area was nice with a view of the beach. However, they did not make up for failings in the restaurant. Plates were cold, food was tepid, I could rest my hand on the hot plates they were very cool. Choice was limited and a few nights main dishes ran out. I spoke to a member of staff and they had already received similar comments. We ate in the Barceló Fuerteventura Mar next door for two nights and the food choices were excellent, plentiful and hot. Plates were hot and the staff very good. I spoke to the manager on our last night and he appreciated the feedback. The bar at the Royal Level is outside and was chilly most nights with limited seats. Again we went to Barceló Fuerteventura Mar to watch the show and have drinks. The airport transfers were expensive for a 10 minute transfer so next time I’ll get a cab or use the bus for €2. I gave 2 stars for Service based on the food service and not staff.

What a fantastic location! I have to give a special mention to the breakfasts, we were able to eat upstairs overlooking the harbour. The day doesn't start better than that! And the food was pretty special too 😊 All the staff were as helpful.as they could be, although the different departments didn't know about the goings on of the others so booking our New Years Eve meal was problematic, we ended up eating at a local restaurant instead - which was lovely. And then return to the free entertainment by the harbour and fireworks over the sea. Fantastic. We will definitely be returning to this hotel X

First and foremost, this accommodation offers exceptional service and really was a class above anything else in Caleta De Fuste. Up until recently, it included an exclusive dining experience at the El Ancla harbour restaurant, with excellent culinary offerings and unique setting. Unfortunately, this restaurant has been quietly closed down this month, detracting significantly from what makes a holiday here so special. The El Ancla restaurant was a core aspect of staying here at Royal Level, and its replacement with a less impressive buffet option at Mafasca is a notable disappointment. We were originally booked to visit again this Summer, but having been notified by Jet2 about Barcelo's decision to shut down El Ancla has led us to cancel our plans and seek alternatives - with prices already significantly higher than our last stay here, it really isn't worth it. It is important for potential guests to be aware that much of Barcelo's marketing for this hotel still prominently features El Ancla, which could be misleading.

Overall, we had a nice holiday, but there were a few things that could easily be addressed that would push this up to 4 stars. We were sent a questionnaire before leaving and confirmed the time we would be arriving, desired room configuration, any extras etc so was quite surprised to arrive at ~11:30 am to be told check in was at 3. I'm not sure why we confirmed arrival time ahead if nothing was going to be done. As we couldn't check in, we were offered to unpack anything necessary in the busy reception, which I was not impressed by, and then we changed in the toilets - not the best first impression. No beach towels are available until you check in, so no drying off if you go for a swim! When we came back to reception at 3:15, we were told check-in was at 3 and our room wasn't ready (?). On informing them it was already after 3, I was told check-in was FROM 3, not necessarily AT 3! Apparently, the room was ready, but there was a problem with it, so we were moved to a different room. The new room was set up for someone else and had a welcome note for them, so I had no idea where they ended up! Both rooms were on the ground floor, having communicated that I did not want a ground floor room this was quite frustrating. Throughout the week, room cleaning and restocking of coffee was inconsistent, some days no coffee pods, but a knock on the door at 8pm to provide a couple of chocolates that had not been left, but still no coffee! The cocktails at the adult pool bar were very changeable depending on who made them, ranging from undrinkable to very nice. The food was nice, but there was a certain familiar element by the end of the week. I did also find that some freshly cooked chicken I had selecfrom the buffet was not cooked through, which is dangerous. For me, there needs to be more consistency across the services and greater attention to detail for this to be 4 star. The staff we interacted were all lovely, and worked long hours, with often the same people who served coffee in the morning serving wine in the evening.

We spent seven days there and I must say, the hotel is absolutely great. The food had variety and the tables aren't too close to each other like many reviews say. The staff was really nice and kind. The shoes weren't great but okay. I definitely recommend it.

Definitely the worse resort i ever been to with the family We came for 7 days, paid €400 a day for end of April for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. I am counting the minutes to get out since day 3. The only drinking water available in the building is some filtered tap water that taste like chlorine and you have to drink from some badly washed reusable plastic cups (No disposable cups, straws or bottled water available anywhere in the building, not even to buy) (glass cups only available in the main restaurant at meal times) so lets just say I couldn't enjoy a holiday where I have to drink tap water from a plastic cup that has been used by 1000 different people and even after "washed" still smells like beer and cigarettes! I feel like we are all dehydrated. The kids is surviving on sugary drinks as find this water undrinkable. If you like to have a cup of tea or coffee after your meals, you need to walk across the building to a bar on top floor as hot drinks is only available in the main restaurant during breakfast only. End of April and 80% of the guests are age over 50 and 60. I actually felt like I was walking into a posh Nursing Home when checked in. So would not recommend this place for family with kids/teenager No smart tv No channel Available in English apart from sky News. Meat selection is poor. Coffee is undrinkable, unless you fill your cup with 5 shots of espresso, every other option tasty like water. Pool closes at 6pm and the kids was cranky and bored in a room with no smart tv or English channels. Main restaurant only open from 7 to 10:30 for breakfast. 12:30 - 3 for lunch and 6:30-9:30 for dinner. Outside those hours, there is only some left over low quality sugary cakes and sometime fruit available to eat. You need to pay extra to use the indoor pool €15 per 120 minutes and kids are not allowed. Gym is in a basement and very bad ventilated. The kids zone for age up to 6 was nice, The staff there is lovely and my daughter enjoyed. If they had some disposable paper cups or straws and bottled water available even if at an extra cost that could have made a big difference for us, another thing you need to get used to is to clean your mouth with your hands as no napkins available anywhere apart from a single one placed at the table at meal times in the main restaurant only. The cups, glasses and tea pots in the main restaurant is another thing you need to close your eyes to or you would not be able to have a drink. They all look filthy like if they were rinsed in dirty water. Just a very unpleasant holiday experience!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel. At the reception all issues were resolved very quickly. Great food, beautiful hotel, friendly staff, very comfortable mattresses and restful sleep! Those who love silence and want to get a good night's sleep come here! Beautiful pool and lots of free things. There is of course a beautiful view of the ocean and a beautiful beach. There is a large balcony overlooking the ocean, you can drink a cocktail and enjoy the view and that's the best thing! very friendly, fun and active guys who lead the activities. They organize: archery, making natural soap with your own hands and teach you how to make a delicious drink Sangria. We will return to this hotel with great pleasure. Thank you and see you soon

Location of the hotel is very good with direct access to the beach. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. The only downsides are: - the service and communication from reception staff is unfriendly. They were not welcoming and reluctantly provided information on hotel and things to do in the area. There was a foul smell in the room and the response from the reception was very poor and only changed the room the next day claiming no availability and no sincere effort to correct the situation. - the quality of food at the dinner buffet is below average (so recommend to avoid) but there are multiple restaurants in the area within walking distance with better atmosphere and food.

Great hotel, currently staying here for our honeymoon. Staff are friendly. Guests are mainly of a more mature age and the entertainment suites them. Great base for exploring. Pool lovely and empty, can always get a sunbed, beach a short walk away. Strip of bars, restaurants and shops close by. Great place and great hotel with welcome drinks on arrival.

Loved it!! We stayed at this hotel for a week and absolutely loved it. First of all, the staff is just amazing. Everyone we've met has been incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. The rooms are very spacious with an amazing bathroom and a large balcony. Food from the buffet was very good. More than enough choice and a good variety from day to day. The staff in the restaurant was very attentive. Food at the poolbar was very good as well. Only let down was the dinner we had in their speciality restaurant Krystal. The quality of food wasn't as good as what we had in the other restaurants and we felt a bit rushed getting three huge portions in a little over an hour. We loved the treatments we got at the spa. I had the best facial ever and my husband had a great massage and good advice for his back pain. The location is perfect. You are next to an amazing beach and have shops and restaurants in walking distance. There is a nice little convenience store next door that has a great ice-cream shop next to it.

The first feeling was great. Service at the reception was good. The rooms and the cleaning was good. Fantastic view from the room. The restaurant is very loud. Too many people and too much stonewalls, roof etc. makes the noise unbearable after some days. You can go outside if the weather allows it and there it is fantastic😃. There is a lot of food to choose from but the taste isn't the best. If you are into kitesurfing or windsurfing this place is the best I think. Therefore you may not want to go swimming because they seemed to be everywhere. Even where they shouldn't. I went running and you have too like running on the beach or trail running. A lot of hills around within 5-10km.

A hotel just a stones throw from the beach. I couldn't fault the service, the food, the location. Very impressed with the efficiency, we were never kept waiting for a table or a drink at the bar, if somebody vacated a table it was cleared and reset in seconds. The room was kept pristine every day. There isn't the English luxury of a kettle in the room but coffee and tea was on tap all day. The quality and variety of food was breathtaking, I'm on a strict diet when I get home. Highly recommended and somewhere I would definitely come again.

I was sceptical when I heard this hotel was closing for a refurb a couple of days after our stay, but if I hadn't have known I wouldn't have been able to tell as standards were so high. Our stay at Melia was the first abroad holiday for our children (5 and 6) and our first in 13 years. It did not disappoint one bit. The building was beautiful, especially when viewed from the beach; it looks like a little oasis. The marble throughout made it feel really special and it was kept incredibly clean. Reception has the Gabi Bar which has deep settees and canopied beds to lounge in. The rooms where just what we needed, beautifully cleaned and comfortable. I took some antibac wipes with me just in case but even the draws etc. were spotless. Lots of lovely little toiletries too for that extra touch. The restaurant buffets were incredible. They boasted fruit, salads, cheeses and breads at every meal, plus so many hot and cold options. Our favourite at breakfast was the pancakes. There were always a variety of gorgeous fish and meat options and safer things for a plainer palette like chips, pastas and pizzas. Some nights there were specials or themes like sushi and seafood. Desserts also hit the spot and the kids loved finding a chocolate fountain and a little sweetie bar! If that wasn't enough there was also a 'snack bar' open throughout the day, which was another monsterous buffet! The drinks included were also delicous and full of variety; beer on tap and mojitos galore, plus juices and slushies for the kids! The staff in the hotel couldn't do enough. All were very attentive and kind. We were aware the hotel was closing for refurb and were allowed to check out slightly later. Our days were spent by the pools or by the beach. The kids pool has two little slides and provided hours of entertainment for the kids. It was also next to a little park which they swapped between. They went to kids club once, which they also liked. The location really was the icing on the cake for us. Melia appears to be in the middle of nowhere, which was what we wanted, surrounded by sandy mountains and the sea. A lagoon was formed most days we were there which added to the magic and was perfect for the kids to play safely in the water. There were not many cons but for me to make it even more perfect I'd like to have seen: 2 sets of twin beds rather than a sofa bed for the kids Working heating/aircon in the room Bigger coffee cups at breakfast with faster machines Quicker lifts Longer hours at kids club Inflatables allowed at the kids pool A welcome sheet in the room saying what times activities/facilities there were Access to the hot tub for free (even if just one slot per stay - we paid and people cheekily joined us who hadn't paid) A bar near the beach!

Third time here 🤩🤩Very nice place ! Friendly personal , very clean!! The team is busy all day for the guests so treat them right 🙏🏻 . Rooms are little bit out dated but that’s not a problem for us(an upgrade is coming up !) The garden with the home cats is wonderful. The sea vieuw and beach near the hotel is fantastic!! Food is good . When you treat people good they wil be good for you it’s my opinion ❤️ It would be nice that the hotel would create an adults only Area . That’s a tip ( maybe a wish 😉) We wil come back definitely 🤩

I absolutely loved this hotel, I haven't got anything to complain about. All staff from cleaners, bar staff, catering staff , reception staff everyone always had a smile on their face and would speak to you and would be helpful in any way they could be. Food - loads of choices, they made their own bread , for lunch and dinner they always had two meat and two fish options on the grill as well as many other choices, fresh pizza, they also had a couple of themed nights during our stay there is something for everyone. If you have a sweet tooth like myself you won't starve they have cakes, muffins, doughnuts at breakfast to start your day off and plenty of deserts for lunch and dinner. Everywhere is clean and much of the hotel is smoke free which is good for the non smokers especially while eating. All inclusive drinks are branded as well as your normal wines and beers , you can even have cocktails freshly made within the all inclusive. The hotel is situated on the beach so only a few minutes walk away. I would definitely recommend this hotel .

Fantastic location right on the beach. A small hotel which made dining very manageable particularly in the evening with two sittings. Food was very good and varied. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our biggest complaint was the water leaking from the shower into the bathroom, toilet and bedroom areas. We raised the issue four times with the management without any resolution except giving us more towels to soak up the water. We got the distinct impression that management were fully aware of this ongoing issue. We had booked a return stay for January 2024 but decided not to proceed as we felt we were not treated as valued customers.

I researched the best beaches in the Canaries, and decided on Jandia. The hotel appealed as it had a smaller, almost boutique feel about it. We were not disappointed. Stunning location. Very well appointed rooms with sea facing balcony. Half board was excellent. Buffet service in previous hotels had been a little dull, but the vast array of delicious food, with chef cooking freshly for you, was a treat. The weather was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel. We would love to visit again.

We spent a week in this hotel in mid-December. It was wonderful. The hotel is very elegant, cosy and friendly. It's located directly on the spectacular clean sandy beach. Thet view of the ocean stunned us at any time of the day and night. Rooms and bathrooms are tasteful and clean. The hotel is intimate and and there is no hustle and bustle in it. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is well adapted for disabled people. The Gourmet meals are on the highest level. We love to come back to lovely El Palacete!

Great sport resort, nice staff BUT we wanted to go there so our teenagers (12 and 14) could do some activities and leave their mobile phones and unfortunately some activities didn’t take place because there were not enough kids. Before I booked the hotel, I asked specifically about it and I was told on Instagram that all kids activities would take place. I told the staff but never received any statement from management… Very disappointed. Will not come again.

Just returned from a week at this beautiful hotel. First thing I will say is that this hotel absolutely caters to its German guests more than anyone else. I’d say 95% of guests there were German. All the servers and staff know how to speak German and the majority of entertainment is in German. This is of course absolutely fine, however we would’ve loved to have been able to participate in activities and entertainment a little more. The location of this hotel is absolutely superb. Morro Jable beach is literally steps away, so convenient. The food was good. It was always fresh and tasty, though again, did cater to its German guests more than anyone. The staff are lovely. Extremely friendly and helpful. Massive shoutout to Teresa on the front desk who helped me locate my missing suitcase (easyJet’s fault). They go above and beyond to ensure you have a fabulous time. The rooms are super spacious and the balcony is huge! Our rooms were cleaned thoroughly everyday and we couldn’t praise the housekeeping team enough. The only real gripe I had with the rooms was the strength of the air con wasn’t excellent but still comfortable. There are two main lifts that service the resort and I have to admit… they are a little painful. Sometimes can take up to 10 mins to get a lift. There doesn’t appear to be a service lift for staff, so a lot of the time housekeeping are using them too. All in all, a beautiful resort in a stunning spot. You’ll have a lovely time here… but if you’re looking to meet other couples and get involved with fitness classes or enjoy the entertainment, it will be in German. Still a wonderful hotel with tons to offer!

The hotel was in a lovely position, directly on the beach, very clean, quiet, and modern. The staff (reception, cleaning, and kitchen) was incredibly polite, kind, and available, always ready to help with any issue. The food was absolutely wonderful!! Did not expect such tasty food from a hotel but it was honestly perfectly cooked and seasoned, and really varied too!! The pool area was always perfectly clean, with space for guests to relax under the sun or under the shade (nice palm trees area). The beach itself was very lovely too, clean and not too crowded. Overall had a wonderful time at Calypso and would come back!

In addition, it was interesting entertainment options, for example, cocktails class with Ekin or Aloe Vera Workshop.

A really lovely adults-only hotel with wonderful sea view from almost all rooms. Excellent, helpful staff. Rooms and public areas all very clean. Rooms well appointed with large balconies, each with loungers and cushions. Bathrooms have large walk in showers. Comprehensive international buffet and a small, very nice, a la carte at extra cost. Bar charges very reasonable. Guests are almost exclusively German (at least German speaking, so expect to be spoken to in German). I find this very positive. Germans expect quality and this hotel certainly delivers. Why not 5 stars? We've stayed here before and have noticed some cost cutting (or maybe just availability issues), plus the hotel charges for use of the in room safe. A hotel of this quality and price (not cheap) shouldn't be charging this as an extra. The biggest issue is there are only 2 lifts and no service lift. At busy times you can wait ages for a lift, or choose to walk up/down many flights of steps. Nevertheless, this is a hotel I'd return to time and again if I could.

Lovely hotel, although bedrooms need updating. Having coffee facilities in rooms would have been nice. We were there for a week, towels changed twice, bath mat everyday, bed sheets were never changed but made the bed everyday, floors mopped everyday. Most staff are friendly. Toilets in common areas did not always have toilet paper, I didn't think they were monitored/checked regularly. Good selection of food. Glad we went all inclusive, not much choice if you want to eat away from the hotel.

Overall, the resort is a bit outdated. . Good access to the beach. The rooms could use a bit more TLC. The beds are ready for replacement. The cleaning service could improve. We were here with a group of 9 people. We have enjoyed our 13-day stay, but again, they could improve by offering more things to do on the resort. Food during the day and evening is good. Conclusion: Price/quality is out of balance.

I enjoyed the week - some great staff, place was being redecorated, it was really clean and i was impressed with the buffet ... some very hard working staff BUT 'checking out' really let them down so wont use the place next year. The staff on reception need some training - they were really busy and yet one person was just faffing around and when people asked simple, quick questions her reply was "join the queue"!! Do not faff around in front of people trying to check out "with flights to catch" and (tired, bored) people trying to check in ... one group had trouble checking in so we had to queue ridiculously ... shame. Shame for Reception Staff "the customer does NOT come first".

Rooms are very dated and tiles lifting. Visible repairs to walls and grout completely missing in some areas across the entire pool areas as well as room. Food was standard, something for everyone. Be aware that the hotel operate a tab policy payable on the final day if your not fully inclusive, drinks were reasonably priced. There is a Spar very nearby and electric scooters to get you towards the harbour area if you want a change of scenery.

Must have been brought in and strange after taste off all of them so we didn't eat dessert. Pros Very nice and helpful staff. Excellent food. Beautiful and quiet resort. Well stocked supermarket in the town. It is possible to rent a car directly through the vending machine in the hotel lobby. I recommend a car, because the buses are few and it has happened to me that it did not come. Cons Worse beach where you need to walk a few hundred meters further along the promenade where it is sandy and choose rather times at high tide. Unusable slow wifi, speeds up to 1 Mbit/s download/upload. Noisy air conditioner that can't be turned off completely except by taking the card out of the reader on the wall or opening the patio door. Quite noisy road connecting right from the side to the accommodation.

Great for an all inclusive getaway without children in a quiet resort. Lovely private bungalows with jacuzzis and sauna facilities! The rooms were spacious and had a sense of homeliness. There were some issues with the fixtures in the bathroom and there were some issues with the overall service level. We got upgraded to a new room after contacting the reception and were able to give our entire experience a 4/5. Our review for hotel and spa as a total would be 3/5, but it’s the friendliness of the staff that raised the experience to a 4/5.

Can't fault the hotel, really lovely place to stay, the location isn't great, ok it is right by the sea but if you are looking for a lively, buzzing place, this isn't it, this is for people who just want to chill by the pool or sit on the beach, this you can do easily with the number of pools and bars they have, entertainment every night and during the day with the animation team, really nice relaxing holiday, if I am going to be critical, for the whole week the staff (apart from the animation team) looked totally fed up and miserable, but it didn't affect my week away, I just feel happy staff help you to enjoy your stay at a hotel.

The Hotel and spa are Great. Well stocked, competent staff who speak a wide range of languages from! English, German, French, polish, Italian and many others. The room was clean and tidy with all the amenities one could ask for I had a room with a partial ocean view but the view was spectacular! My balcony had one side open to the wind so on breezy days it was very nice but on windy days it was a little bit cold. It is a very beautiful place honestly. With card access to a semi private beach, 2 restaurants 3 pools and a few great photo opportunities All in all a great place for rest and relaxing but not really for sightseeing or shopping. I would love to visit again!

The hotel definitely lives up to its four and a half stars. It boasts beautiful swimming pools, spacious rooms with large private terraces, and a prime beachfront location. The gym is decent as well. However, when it comes to cuisine, the hotel falls short of its rating. The menu features a lot of ultra-processed, unhealthy options with limited choices for fresh, healthy foods like raw vegetables. Unfortunately, the coffee is also disappointing.

I have just come back from a 2 week stay in this Hotel. It has been the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Coming from a travel agents background, this is a big statement for me to make. I also works as a Reception Manager in a 5* Health and Leisure complex, so I can be fussy when it comes to attention to detail. From start to finish this hotel ticked all the boxes. The staff are amazing and a huge credit to Hotel. The Hotel is really big but very spacious and spotless. I can not give this Hotel enough praise. In our 2 week stay we only left the hotel twice, and that was only as I was curious to see what the resort had to offer. Adil and Rafa in the pool bar were super. I would be here all day if I had to mention all the staff :-) Thank you Royal Palm for an amazing holiday and we will return to visit. Thanking you Sandra Gonzalez and James Ahern. Room 1224.

Great Hotel and very spacious, but 1 Star is missing due to the following reasons: 1.Lunch menu is very limited and hardly any continental dish available, you are literally forced to eat Italian food. 2.Hotel location is in very secluded,hence the Hotel should have a Hotel bus for the guests,who want to travel to "Morro Jable " as every time the taxi charges you €15 for one way ,which adds a lot if you want to stay for a week and walking is very hard, as the location is very very windy. 3. Staff is very very nice , however the language barrier is sometimes visible.

Overall, it's a pretty good hotel, however there are a lot of things that could be improved. I would not come back there, as this hotel gives a feeling of factory, they focus on quantity, not quality. Starting with the pros: 1) The hotel is located just in front of the beach, if you pay extra you can have a nice ocean view from the room. 2) Great selection of food at dinner, desserts and starters were especially good when it comes to main courses it was a lottery (sometimes it was very good, other times uneatable). 3) Rooms are very spacious and have everything you need. Now let's move on to the cons: 1) The biggest shame is that you have to pay extra basically for everything: water at the dinner - you have to pay, big sun beds with ocean view - you have to pay, tennis rockets and balls - you have to pay, towels for the pool - you have to pay. It doesn't look very good, no one uses all the paid facilities. 2) Many hotel staff do not speak English, it was sometimes a problem to get warm milk for the coffee. They behave very loud especially maids and people who take care of cutlery in the restaurant. However they seem to be kind and helpful. 3) Parking is another disadvantage of this hotel. There are only few spots in front of the building. Usually you will need to park on the street, good luck if you forget something from your car (it will take a lot of time to go back there and take it). 4) We booked a room with ocean view, it turned out we got swimming pool view. It was not possible to get a room which we actually booked as it was occupied. Also keep in mind that if you need something from the reception they will not come to your room - they will not even propose that as they expect you to come and pick up what you need - again it takes a lot of time to get to the reception. 5) Breakfast - not many healthy options, it is also not possible to order fresh omelette with vegetables, no coffee machine. What more there is a huge waste of food and water - we saw a waitress turning on the water tap and letting it run for 5 minutes, it also a standard to throw away full cartons of milk that had been served to customers a minute earlier. 6) Few times we saw cockroaches and rats by the pool.
