We've just returned From a wonderful stay at Kn Matas Blancas. The rooms, staff and locations were great for us.
We did hear some complaints from one guests about the food in the restaurant book personally we didn't find any problems with the quality of the food.
I would like to thank all the staff for giving us a memorable stay especially because it was our 20th wedding anniversary.
But one member staff stands out above all, which was the lovely lady on reception that check this in and out.

Mine and my partners review:
Let’s start with some (Postives )
Beds are comfortable a lovely balcony a spacious bathroom with a nice shower and a mini fridge .
Drinks are lovely but could have a few more drinks selection
Now let’s focus on Negatives
* Flies were coming out of the drink dispenser and going into people’s drinks I saw this it happened to another holiday maker.
* Flys were flying around the ketchup machine in the snack bar
Food wasn’t the greatest baked beans looked like they was just poured out the tin stone cold
Bacon uneatable didn’t even taste like bacon and was so hard it felt like it would break your teeth.
Hashbrowns had a Body odour smell.
Food should always be served hot and not cold unless it’s ice cream or something.
You shouldn’t have to wait half a hour to have a towel for the pool so we ended up having to buy one.
Ants were crawling out of the light switch by the side of the bed. We asked for pillows the whole week we was staying in your hotel to be told you would make a note to the housekeeper on the Friday before we left we got extra pillows. We shouldn’t have to wait that long.
There was dirt stains on the pillow sheets that we got gave by the cleaners
What could be improved
Food quality should be better and really hot and not stone cold.
Food should be editable and not feel like it will break your teeth.
More towels for the pool 100%
(To check your drink refillable machines to make sure that there is not any more flies in there and to deep clean it)
To have more of a drink selection on the drink menu like pina coladas or strawberry daiquiris etc.
to keep a eye on the snack bar area and to make sure that no flies are near your ketchup machine as it is unhygienic.
(The spa shouldn’t only be free one time it should be free on the all inclusive option) and if not all inclusive then normal cost.
If someone asks for extra pillows to give them to them without a hassle, 1 pillow gives you a bad neck.
I will also mention aswell it’s a lovely hotel but it shouldn’t have prostitution it ruins the vibe.

Kn Matas Blancas Hotel - Not Quite 4 Stars
We recently stayed at Kn Matas Blancas Hotel through Jet2 Holidays, and while there were some positives, the experience fell short of our expectations for a 4-star hotel. Here’s our honest review:
The Positives:
Firstly, full credit to Jet2 Holidays. The staff were absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and eager to help at every turn. They certainly made the travel experience pleasant. Secondly, the hotel is clean and well-maintained, which is always appreciated.
The Negatives:
Location: The hotel is situated on a hill, which makes it very windy. While the weather in the Canary Islands is generally lovely in winter (22–25°C), the cold wind was less than ideal. Another concern was the dust and sand from the Sahara. On certain days, stepping outside felt unpleasant and even potentially harmful.
Food: This was one of the biggest disappointments. The meals lacked variety and authenticity. The menu appeared to cater predominantly to British visitors, with no local or home-cooked-style options. Unfortunately, the food became monotonous, with the same dishes served across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. To make matters worse, the food was consistently cold, even at the snack bar. What ruined our experience was falling severely ill after dining at the hotel, which left us confined to our room for two days.
Staff: Most staff members were pleasant and tried their best, but we encountered a few rude individuals, particularly in the kitchen. While everyone can have a bad day, there’s no excuse for taking it out on guests.
Facilities: The hotel offers three outdoor pools, one of which is heated, though "heated" is a generous term—it was only slightly warmer than the unheated ones. The spa has a small pool with whirlpool jets, but the water temperature was lukewarm at best, far from the relaxing warmth you’d expect in a spa. Additionally, although the dry sauna and steam room were a good size, seating in the spa was extremely limited, with only four loungers available. Be aware that all-inclusive guests get only one free spa visit, with subsequent visits costing €50 per person.
Customer Demographic: While this is only partially the hotel’s responsibility, the guest mix affected the overall atmosphere. During our stay, there were three main groups: elderly guests (generally fine), solo visitors (many of whom spent their days drinking but kept to themselves), and groups of scroungers, whose loud, flashy, and disruptive behavior was often accompanied by poor hygiene and offensive language.
Final Thoughts:
We booked this holiday as a last-minute, impulsive decision without doing proper research, and we regret it. For those considering this hotel, please take the time to thoroughly research your options to avoid disappointment. This property may suit some, but there are undoubtedly better alternatives for a more enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Don’t make the same mistake we did—plan carefully!

Room was OK, poor bedding and pillows. We were lucky we had ground floor in the corner with terrace and a pool view. Food was awful, bland, cold, poor quality. We survived on desserts. Drinks poor, beer Amstel which was fine. We would not revisit.

Had a nice week here with my brother. It was the cheapest hotel we could find at short notice, so we weren't expecting miracles. It's slightly out of season. Drinks were free as we went allinc but they sharply cut you off from free drinks at 11 which dispite the fact im not a big drinker was dissapoint when they said i can buy a drink but no more freebies. Bar and food hall staff were fine. Food wasn't great even by all Inc. standards. Mostly over cooked, but I guess that is better than under cooked. The pool area was nice. Although the water is cold. Aday who was our entertainment manager was excellent although he was on his own in the job which wasn't ideal for him. He did well. Spent a couple of hours in the spa as a Freeby from jet 2. Sadly, it's underused, which isn't surprising as it's not free. Location wise its a 20 minute walk to the beach which is lovely. They do have a shop which I think is privately run. I'm highly disappointed as I think it's been filled with things people have left by the side of the pool. Looking at the flip flops. Looks like stock from ten years ago. On the whole, I'd definitely return.
