We’ve spent 10 days in February in this hotel . Very central location , close to the Faro lighthouse . Good size, not too big , good pool , bar (with nightly entertainment) , good breakfast and friendly personnel . We had an upper floor with sea view . Would definitively recommend these as you get most sun and a view . Avoid the lower floors with pool view and spend the small extra to get sea view . 90% of the guests are German and average age is + 65. But still many friendly people . Only irritating are those ones that even don’t bother to mutter a “Buenos Dias” when addressing the staff and just chatter in German as if this was downtown Berlin . That’s why we rarely do those organised travels - this one was an exception. Some brits , other Scandinavian and Dutch . I heard that the once German dominated Morro Jable starts to get more international due to the weather being best on the southern cost of this island . Very clean pool and overall clean and good service . Yummy breakfast . You can choose between Spanish style with tomato bread , tortilla etc and things more catered for German taste . Only 2 negative points is the average quality dinner , especially the warm food (and we also had some stomach issues due to the grilled fish once ) - which is why we sometimes opter to war in town instead - and the narrow gate of the garage when entering / leaving by car. But all in all a very nice hotel . Can recommend it .

This hotel is paradise. I have been coming here since 2007 and visited about 20 times. The hotel is perfectly situated across the road from the lighthouse and beach. There is a boardwalk across a nature reserve that takes you on to the white sand, where you can walk in both directions. The sea is azure blue but please obey the flags as it has rip tides.
The hotel is an oasis and the rooms are comfortable with air conditioning, safe and access to the spa is free. They offer B&B, Half Board and All Inclusive. The All inclusive rate includes some international drink brands. The restaurant is full of choice and they cook some meats while you wait.
The staff are very friendly and will help you with anything you need. The hotel also has a small mini golf course (extra charge) but the pool area is quiet and peaceful. There are two tennis courts a pool table and a small library where previous guests have left books behind for others.
The hotel rooms are spacious and decorated well. They all have a sofa, chair and writing desk.
Some bathrooms have walk in showers and others have a bath. All have a balcony with chair and table. The Superior sea view rooms also have loungers on their bigger balcony's and offer a turn down service at night.
This hotel is pure paradise and there's always something to do at this resort. The location is perfect for shopping and there are lots of great restaurants just outside. There's a fantastic promenade to walk along and this will take you to Morrow Jable, where there are more bars and restaurants. A fantastic place and the Mur hotel is the only place I'd stay.

Stayed for a week in September and the hotel is spotlessly clean, room service every day with fresh linen and towels should you wish. The location is OK with easy access to the beach via a boardwalk past the lighthouse and a five/ten minute walk into the town centre for shops and bars. We booked a suite and this was great with plenty of room, unfortunately our room was located on the lower floor which had minimal sea views and was above an amusement arcade which closed at midnight, not that the noise bothered us too much (apart from the air hockey ha!). If you can book a higher floor I would advise doing it though. On arrival you get a bottle of water for free but note that all future water in your room is chargeable, as are the mini bar items, there is a water machine in the bar area during the day to fill bottes up. I would say the food is adequate, breakfast is good with plenty of choice, evening meal not so much choice but generally not too bad. All things considered an enjoyable stay.

Just got back from annual 2 week holiday at Faro Jandia hotel.
We had a great chilled out holiday very relaxing and felt very spoilt.
Our room was beautiful, a welcome pack awaited us which included a sunhat each.
This year we booked Superior sea view room, probably do this everytime now.
The hotel is very clean, staff are friendly and kind, food is abundant.
Poolside has enough beds so everyone has a good place (no need to rush out early morning to plant your towel (must say though just before coming home the new batch did have a few who did that so let's hope Faro puts a stop to this, it's unnecessary. Clean pool towels provided daily.
Hope to see you soon Faro and thank you

Booked our holiday through Jet2 and was very nervous as knew the hotel didn’t have much for my 3 year old, but I’m happy to say I will 10000% return!
From check in to check out, the staff were wonderful and so friendly with my son. The staff love having the kids around and even if they are running around and making friends of an evening, they are not bothered by this one single bit, it made the holiday so much better and from breakfast to late night drinking the staff are always so happy, they put the utmost effort into everything they do around the hotel and it shows by how clean the surroundings are! The hotels rooms are spacious, and wow the cleaners are great, everyday our room was cleaned as if we had only just arrived!
We originally booked half board through Jet2 but decided to upgrade to all inclusive when we arrived for an extra 500euros for our 10 night stay, we also got to chose when this started and finished, this was well worth the money upgrading at the hotel and I highly recommend.
I read reviews before arriving that the food was the same every night for dinner so wasn’t sure what to expect but I do not agree with that comment, food was varied every night during our stay and we always saw something different on the buffet to choose from! Breakfast, yes that was the same and lunch you chose from a menu but these were great too. Lots of choices, and a great desert table which of course came in handy with my toddler! The local area was lovely and clean, lots of shops to have a wonder around and the walk to Marro Jable along the beach is very pretty, and not to far either. If you are a family looking for a day out, the oasis wildlife park was a great day out, the bus picks you up and drops you back to the hotel and there is lots to do and see at the park. The hotel also offers a spa, which was lovely for relaxation but also because during certain times of the day children are allowed in, which is great for downtime out of the sun!
Please don’t dismiss this hotel if you are a family just because there isn’t anything at the hotel for them, if anything it was perfect as they made friends and their own fun! The evening entertainment wasn’t amazing but fitted well with the chilled atmosphere around the hotel, and my son definitely wasn’t bothered and still danced the night away!
Thank you to all the staff around the hotel, for making our holiday perfect! We will be back!
