Mum and I went on holiday here 11-18 October 2024 3 star hotel. Staff polite friendly and helpful Rooms needed air conditioning not just a unit which was very noisy only pool view get the units. Or you can pay 5 euro a day for it. Pool bar was great serves food and you can have any drinks after 11pm you pay shuts at 12am. Entertainment was wonderful in evening and in day also entertainment was great for all. Buffet food in dinning room A lot to chose from sometime it is cold but what do expect when it's a heated unit. Chefs keep checking to replace food quickly Tables get cleaned also quickly

My partner and I have just returned from a delightful week-long holiday. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and while the rooms were basic, they met our expectations for the price. The pool area was well-maintained and tidy, with the only minor issue being the inconsiderate behavior of some guests who monopolized sunbeds for extended periods and not using them. We would appreciate it if measures could and should be taken to address this issue in the future. The bar staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the food hall offered a wide variety of fresh food options, catering even to individuals with particular dietary preferences. This was my second visit to the hotel, and I would highly recommend it and consider returning for a third time in the future.

We are currently on our 5th night. From the very start at check in (we were 3 hours early and they still checked us straight into our room) the holiday has been amazing. Nearly every single drink at the bar is included in the all inclusive, the food selection and quality is amazing for an all inclusive. Our room while it only has a ceiling fan was cool enough to sleep in if you keep the patio doors open and curtains closed 24/7 this is with 29c days. Information given at reception on bus times, prices and what buses to catch and where to change for a trip to the aquarium was so helpful. Lovely pool and getting a deck chair isn't difficult at the end of Sept/beginning of Oct. Most staff speak great English. We will definitely be back!

Great Family Holiday... Until the Midlife Crisis Convention Rolled In” We’ve been enjoying a brilliant stay at the Mirador Maspalomas — the kind of hotel where you’d expect relaxation, family fun, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Everything was spotless, the staff couldn’t have been friendlier, and the family entertainment kept us all smiling. But then... cue the Harley Davidson Biker Convention. Two days ago, a fleet of middle-aged bikers rolled in, seemingly fuelled by midlife crises and a mission to commandeer the hotel. Since then, the peaceful family vibe has been hijacked. The bar and entertainment areas are no longer spaces for families to unwind but rather look like the set of a budget biker film. Trying to find a free table? Forget it! The bikers have claimed them all, camping out for hours like they’re defending sacred territory. The behaviour? Rude would be an understatement. Bar staff are treated with utter disregard, and the waft of cigarette smoke seems to have become their calling card. What was shaping up to be a 5-star family holiday has been overshadowed by leather jackets and an apparent disdain for anyone who didn’t arrive on two wheels. Mirador Maspalomas was a real gem — but it’s hard to recommend it without a warning: check if there’s an impending invasion of leather and egos before booking! Update 1:15am. We now have a bunch of them fighting in the hotel. So much for a good night's sleep. Disgraceful.

This hotel was amazing!! The staff were all friendly and helpful. Management are really good. Everyone is always smiling, when I wasn’t feeling well they got me ice water and gave me some advice. The food is amazing!! Top compliments to the chefs and especially head chef! The on site shop is good for essentials and little treats like chocolate and gifts to take home even have towels and inflatables for the pools. The pools are really clean the entertainment is fun just such a lovely place and I will defiantly be coming back to this hotel!!

Room was clean and tide up. Service where ok , friendly staff always around looking for you. The animation team juandeegor they did a great job, lots of activities and entertainment for all ages. Baby disco was great fun for the little one also the disco music after it. They were the best of all hotel! They can Improve the food.

Lots to write about here. We booked this resort, all inclusive, at very short notice, and then read some of the awful reviews and therefore arrived with some trepidation. However, we had a wonderful holiday. The staff were all really helpful and caring, our apartment was cleaned EVERY day, the food was great and there was always something different to eat at every meal. Our only moan was that the aircon in our apartment (an extra) was pretty close to useless. We will definitely be going back

Despite some reviews I've read & some comments from other guests, myself & my family had a great week here. Draw backs, for me would be the lift being a nuisance. But the hotel is on the side of a large hill, so it is what it is. Also, we went all inclusive which I wouldn't do that again. I'm a bit more fussy than most, but not the most fussy. Found the food bland & repetitive, so ended up eating out most of the time. Myself & my family would 100% go back again. Thanks for a great week to all the staff at Riosol who work extremely hard from what I saw.

John from the animation team was fab and made the holiday great fun!. We enjoyed daily aqua aerobics, a scare / escape room (it was Halloween) and lots of activities through the day. The hotel was great for the price, plenty of subbed too. The food was great, the rooms were comfy, although could have done with a bit of a facelift.

Fab views, we stayed in a superior one bedroom apartment. Place is like a maze! Not for people who have trouble walking or in wheelchairs as its mostly steps. Bar only has one person serving at a time so ques were long. Food was a shock, so wouldn't recommend all inclusive. Some rooms don't come with air-conditioning so check that out before u go. Our group had 4 rooms. Pool was spacious, kids pool was drained on day two. The private pool upstairs was nice and chill.

Me and my partner stayed here for 10 nights and loved it here! We plan on returning next year! The room we stayed in didn't have air con but we survived and the bed was two singles out together but it wasn't too bad. The views from our balcony were amazing though! We had all inclusive food and drink and it was so worth it, the food was well cooked and freshly topped up regularly. The drinks were all self service, including the alcohol!

went on a seven day all inclusive holiday with my parents, little brother and partner in August 2024 and I was one of the best holidays we have ever been on. This hotel was absolutely amazing. Before going I saw some not so great reviews and my experience proved them review wrong. The buffet was always fully stocked with all foods during the meal times and there were many options to choose for especially for my partner who is a very picky eater. Between meals you have a snack bar which is also set up buffet style. The view from both pools and rooms was absolutely beautiful. The bar was all self service when all inclusive so no need to wait in long lines when wanting a drink. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and were cleaned regularly, unless asked otherwise. The staff were very respectful when you didn’t want them to go into the room and still offered clean towels and to take the bins out for you. Overall our experience as a family was absolutely amazing and we will definitely be returning.

We've stayed here for a week and I can honestly say we've had a lovely time. Rooms are clean and towels changed every day apart from 2 days which we were told about. Bed linen was charged mid week, which was nice as it was so hot! No air conditioning but we had 2 good ceiling fans and they are midway installing air con. Food was average but a good choice each day for breakfast and dinner. All staff are pleasant and friendly especially the waiters, who were constantly tidying and making sure we were ok. All in all a pleasing stay! 😁 We were informed before our holiday that they were having building work done but we didn't hear anything and it didn't affect our stay at all.

Our experience with Altamar was horrendous. We arrived 22:30 and were told there was no room for us due to construction. We were never informed about this before arrival. They put us in their sister hotel, where the breakfast was cold and the grapes were mouldy. We paid extra for a sea view, which the other hotel didn’t have. We had to spend hours trying to get back into the other hotel. When we finally got back, the air conditioning didn’t work, the hair dryer didn’t work, the TV didn’t work. We chose a self catering apartment, no washing up liquid or a sponge was provided. We were woken every morning between 7:30 and 8:00 with building work. Didn’t get a relaxed lie in once while we were away. The cleaners came around at 8:30 one morning, knocking on the window three times and peeping in the bedroom window - very inappropriate. We were never given anything to say ‘do not disturb’. Took 3 days to receive any sort of an apology, and at that we had to go looking for it. We were ‘compensated’ with free breakfast. Very poor customer service skills from the manager. Spoke to us badly and argued with everything we said. Save your well earned and go elsewhere, plenty more beautiful hotels on the island.

I went to this hotel with my family and it is one of the best places I have ever stayed it, the location is lovely and I love the way that the hotel is build as the views are lovely too. One of my favourite parts of the hotel are the balcony’s as they are massive and always gets sun. The entertainment is brilliant as they have stuff on for all ages which we all enjoyed. The food is good and it has wasn’t too busy. For us we managed to get a sun bed everyday which wasn’t a struggle, There is a lot of steps in this hotel but there is a lift for anyone who needs to use it, the lift can be busy but it wasn’t a problem for us. The Europa centre is only about a 5 minute walk from the hotel if you fancy going out for a meal which we did some nights and it was great as they have shops there aswell. Overall I would definitely go again and I would recommend this hotelto anyone considering going to Gran Canaria.

Booked all-inclusive for a week. It was clean and tidy. The staff were all great. The food was good, with a mix of kids basics and more adult meals. There were two pools, one a little quieter. It was close to two beaches. But walk down and get a taxi back because the hills are very steep.

Always return to this hotel when visiting Gran Canaria. The views are absolutely stunning, and for the price, it's everything you need. We stay self-catering, so we can not comment on the food. They could just do with switching the music up around the pool, some days they would play the same song 6 times over and sometimes twice in a row 😂 other than that, lovely hotel with the best views of Puerto Rico!

Nice clean rooms with beautiful views. Wouldn't come here if you have trouble walking. Food was average all inclusive but could of been a bit options. Entertainment on every night and some good bars with cheap beer (1.80 to 3€) just a little bit down the hill if not your taste.

Really enjoyed staying here! We had a nice view of the sea and found that there was lots to do in the nearby area. Shopping centre is near by with food shops and bars. The room was good, nice and clean and they had a bottle of water in the fridge for us. Also had bodywashes and shampoo samples in the bathroom. Cleaners came by daily to check if we needed towels, toilet paper or the room cleaning. Everyone was really nice so enjoyed it. At the pool, everyone reserves loungers with towels even though you are asked not to. There are 2 pools so plenty of space for everyone. They have an on site supermarket with water, sweets bread, sandwich food, toiletries ect. The bar was ok however we ate out most nights as just found it better in the local bars. Staff were really nice especially the bar workers by the smaller pool.

Didn't expect much from this hotel as it was very inexpensive It was terrible, food was very poor with little choice. Staff were rude and not very helpful, the problem seems to be that there are self catering and all inclusive, the all inclusive guests are all treated as though they are going to give away food and drinks to the self catering guests, we felt like we were continually watched!! Rooms are clean but very very dated, the whole hotel would benefit from a refurb to bring it up to date

Located at top of puerto rico 5 min walk to Europa centre. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Reception staff not so friendly. Went self catering and only 5 min walk to supermarket. Pool kept clean and areas well maintained. Recommend amadores beach very clean and sea beautiful. Walk down and get s taxi back. Very steep walk down! Not for elderly

Staff were lovely on arrival and even helped us with booking local tours. Rooms were cleaned every day. Pool area is a little small however we rarely used it anyways as went down to the beach instead. We were self catering which I’m so glad as there is many restaurants in walking distance and supermarkets. Great wee place for a few nights away. Cannot complain at all!

We have just got home from a week here . The hotel is up at the top of a hill but the Europa centre is a two min walk . Also taxis down to the main town or beach will cost no more than 6 euro. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of being up away from the main town. Staff were approachable and friendly . The hotel room itself was basic with one bedroom and a pull out sofa bed for the kids . Our bed wasn’t all that comfortable but ok for a week. We really liked having two balconies as when the sun moved from one we got it on the other . Room was clean and although we were all inclusive it had kitchen area which was so handy. No WiFi or aircon in the rooms but we used mobile data and there was a fan provided ( room was only for sleeping! Holidays aren’t for spending in the room). They have two small pools which were fine as we liked being out and about . We were all inclusive and despite reading reviews about the food, my fussy daughter managed to eat a wide variety at meal times (we did eat elsewhere on certain nights but not lots. Wide range of drinks available also with wine, soft and coffee self service. Overall we had a lovely break and would come back ,

It's not worth coming here, the pool is very small and the rooms are terrible, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired, the hot water doesn't work for more than 2 minutes, the entrance door doesn't lock, the internet doesn't work and not to mention the staff who don't it's a friendly (especially the lady at the reception). It doesn't even deserve 2 stars

Avoid this place! Save your money!! No wifi in the rooms and they forget to tell you about this so you have to spend your holiday without internet connection, also no daily room cleaning, no towel changing or anything. We paid for all inclusive, yet you can barely eat or have anything (they watch your every minute and check how much you eat). The staff is extremely rude, especially at the restaurant!! Even the housekeeper looks at you like you’re nothing. Not mentioning they barely serve enough food for everyone (and the hotel is packed), their cocktails are horrible, they give you some terrible mixture from a cocktail “machine” and call it a drink. If you want to drink something else, forget it since they don’t even understand the basic drink names (yet alone English words). We booked a 12 day holiday here and already in the first day we were thinking about leaving this place for good. Never again!

We are on our final day of a two week holiday and would like to say what a lovely time we've had. The rooms are clean and adequate and the food on the whole is nice. The entertainment the second week we felt was better than the first but that personal choice. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. I would like to make a special mention for Colleen on the entertainment team . She if friendly , chatty and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a care free stay with everything you could need. Thanks guys we'll be back 😎

Great holiday here ! Very clean throughout. Very nice staff, friendly and helpful. Varied entertainment, we loved the performance of Emmanuel, a very good " one-man show ". The food was very varied ,good and fresh ! Very reasonable prices for all inclusive. Keep up the good work !!! We'll be back here, for sure !

Had a very pleasant stay here with friends recently. Thought the hotel was great value for money: it had clean rooms with comfortable beds; there was a good range of options for meals in the all-inclusive buffet and the dishes were regularly replenished. As an anxious person in social situations, I very much liked the self-service soft drinks, wine and beer for all-inclusive guests too! My favourite thing about this hotel though was the daytime aqua and stretch classes run by fitness instructor Colleen. She is charismatic and really knows her stuff. No two classes are the same. The aqua was a proper workout (you can definitely feel you've done it afterwards!) and the stretch class leaves you feeling taller. Colleen pays close attention to your form and helps you improve, tailoring the classes to those in attendance. I wish I could do them every week!

Couldn't fault this hotel. Friendly staff, great location for everything. Didn't have any problems getting a sunbed. Pool area was clean, had water coolers around the hotel with separate splash pool for children as well as an adult area beside the jacuzzi. We were bed and breakfast and we found plenty of choice and the surfaces & tables were kept clean and staff were always restocking food. Room was ample size for two adults, plenty of storage and wardrobe space, balcony was a good size with airer on and beds, and pillows were mega comfortable. Maid was in everyday cleaning and changed towels if needed. Didn't stay in hotel at night time so can't comment on the entertainment but what we did see was people seemed to be having fun when we walked past the outside area. We will be booking again for next year

Excellent family hotel in a great location. There are plenty of sunbeds every day at any time. Staff are friendly and helpful and work so hard. The food is fabulous even for the fussiest of eaters, although I was only a bed and bed basis. Breakfast was plentiful. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

We only stayed at this place for 6 hours as our flight got cancelled. The service was great and everything was explained so well. The location is a bit dodgy, I was awoken by screaming at 3am and lots of banging. The rooms do not have duvets, it’s a very thin material that is more like a bedsheet. The pools do look very nice, although we didn’t go in!

I recently stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, and overall, I am satisfied with my stay. The hotel provides a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were helpful and polite. The biggest highlight of my stay was the food – a huge variety of dishes that were not only diverse but also absolutely delicious. The breakfasts and dinners served at the hotel were particularly exceptional and of the highest quality. Unfortunately, there were a few small inconveniences that affected my comfort. The room lacked an iron, which was quite frustrating, especially for a longer stay. Additionally, the bathtub in the bathroom didn’t have a plug, which made it impossible to use properly. What surprised me the most was the lack of an adapter for British plugs. The hotel had adapters for American to British plugs, which were useless for the socket in the wall and are European.This basic amenity could easily be improved and would definitely enhance the overall comfort of the stay. In conclusion, despite a few details that need attention, the overall experience was positive, mainly due to the excellent food and the friendliness of the staff.

The rooms where good, the house keepers where super lovely and our rooms where super tidy. Great views from the balcony. 3 pools! The hotel is at fantastic location 10/20 minutes from the beach,entertainment ans restaurants too!. We did not enjoy the entertainment so we went out most of the time and could find more fun outside the hotel. Unfortunately there are cockroaches in the hotel bring your own spray as we they do not appreciate you calling reception about this matter ! All in all my family made the most of our time at the hotel and we really did enjoy ourselves

Positive Aspects: The four-night stay offered great value. Our room had a fantastic ocean view and was comfortable and nice. Other positives included the hotel's location near a beautiful beach, the comprehensive all-inclusive program, and the friendly staff. Negative Aspects: One elevator out of service, other not working properly leading to significant wait times, especially during peak periods. The quality of the cocktails was poor; they were machine-mixed with syrups and undrinkable. Most significantly - and this is why we have to dicrease our rating of overall nice stay, on Friday, November 1st, we experienced food poisoning after dinner. We ate only food served at the hotel; the only food my girlfriend and I shared were tacos. The resulting vomiting and illness appeared in the night and lasted whole following day (our departure day). Despite explaining our situation at reception and our probable inability to leave on time (checkout 12) due to illness, the receptionist offered no assistance or empathy and simply insisted we check out by 12. She didn't ask for our room number (didn´t check if our leave on time is really needed due to other booking) or explore any alternative solutions.

Beverley park was a beautiful discover. I booked a sea view room and we had a room with a sea view but you need it to go to the corner to see it, so I complained at the reception and Lucretia was so nice she change our room. The food is nice, you can find everything, the cleannes is very high, they are very attentive and the animation's (activity workers) will make your stay more enjoyable and funny. I suggest this hotel and in a future we will come back.

The staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly! Animation team was very good, concerts and shows every night. The buffet was good and had a large variety of different dishes. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the cleaning staff was very friendly too. The hotel is ideally located, close proximity to the beach and a nice walk to restaurants and shops. Pools were very clean and lifeguards were very nice. The lady at the shop in the lobby was very sweet. Car rental service in the lobby. We had a beautiful view on the ocean. Would recommend and would definitely come back!

Lovely hotel. So glad we came here for our holiday. Free access to the water park. Shame we had to pay for the drinks / food. Only all inclusive if we was in the sister hotel. 🙄 But apart from that. Food was good. Drinks good. Nice and clean. Entertainment outside at night. Lots to do for the kids. Defo only stay for 1 week. All round 5 stars from me.

It's my first time here and it was great. Staff throughout the hotel have been very helpful if needing anything. Rooms are clean and just what you need them for to sleep and relax all rooms have a balcony which is very handy. The restaurant is clean and the food is delicious most nights there's a different theme for food eg Mexican, Spanish. Entertainment on nightly dancers singer etc... We went all inclusive which id recommend. Plenty of gift shops, pharmacies and a supermarket. Would definitely recommend and do hope to come back here again.

All in all a great hotel for a family.Kids club was great for our 5 year old.Night time entertainment was very good.

Only 2 very small lifts. Out of 7 days, there was 2 days that both lifts were working. I would not recommend it for families who need to use prams all the time or wheelchair users. If the hotel made it so that the staff lift could be used by prams and wheelchairs that would be a good thing.

We have had a all inclusive holiday here, and it was perfect. Starting from receiving a lovely welcome form reception staff, they were all kind and accommodating. The room were good size, clean and with comfy beds. The cleaning staff are amazing, every day they would clean the bathroom and the room, an extremely good job by the cleaners. I hope that after this review the Managers are going to give a bonus to these ladies because they do a very good work keeping the clients rooms clean and maintain a good hygiene though the building, even the toilets around the pool and bar were clean all day. Pool! well, the pictures speak for themselves. It is sunny most of the day so find a place in the shade is not easy, but if you ask there are umbrellas for shade and even if busy is relaxing. Food, I'm a fanatic of good food and I was very satisfied about the buffet, every day there were something different to try, meat and fish were tasty. I would definitely recommend a all inclusive. Money well spent.

We spend 5 days here in September 24. The hotel was mid range for what we've stayed at. The rooms were lovely, and it was nice that everything in the hotel was located quite close. The food was standard all inclusive, nothing impressive. I didn't think much of the inclusive cocktails, they were straight out a machine and not great. You can upgrade for €14 a day, and you can get fresh made cocktails - which is worth it if you want a treat a few days. The pool areas were lovely. A larger main pool, a smaller relax pool, a cool jacuzzi section and a small kids shallow pool. Activity wise, we felt the place was lacking. Very little on in the evenings, and not much to do - you're better off going for a walk in the evenings and discovering the area.

We'd booked a relatively cheap week away and decided to stay here as it was about 30% cheaper than other hotels. Because of that we came away with fairly low expectations but we're thankfully really impressed by the hotel and the staff. Fantastic, attentive and friendly service from the staff. Good facilities and rooms. The entertainment was quite loud on some nights, even in our room (we were right next to it), thankfully the staff were quite strict with sound and it was usually finished by 11pm. There were a few small concerns that ultimately one could have likely complained about and be moved rooms I'm sure but it wasn't enough of an issue to bother us for a few nights. The hallways to rooms felt a little tired, but the rooms and main sections of the hotel were in good condition and very comfortable. Food was the sort of thing you'd expect at an all inclusive hotel, but lots of options and reasonable quality. My wife, fussy 6 year old and I had no issues finding something for us at each meal. As with anywhere sunbeds were all reserved by about 6am and then went unused for most the morning. On a few occasions we did see staff members putting out notices and removing towels but it would have been nice to have seen a little more of this The only negative is that the 3 pools were 0.5m, 1.2m and 1.4m deep in the shallowest sections respectively which unfortunately meant only the shallowest pool was suitable for our daughter without aid (she is not a confident swimmer), it's nothing major and we still had a great time using the facilities and exploring the nearby beach.

Found the all inclusive package to be quite poor, only stayed for dinner twice in seven nights as food was very unappetising, drinks were mediocre, couldn't even have a large beer , small glasses approx a third of a pint. Petty rules around pool bar, even included being told not to go to the bar without shoes on , or if wet, it's a pool bar for goodness sake

Our stay at Abora Continental by Lopesan exceeded all expectations. The location is ideal—close to beach yet wonderfully peaceful. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered stunning views. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The service was outstanding; every staff member was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The on-site dining was excellent, especially the breakfast, which offered a variety of delicious options. The hotel’s were top-notch. Overall, Abora Continental by Lopesan is perfect for relaxed holidays. We had a wonderful sea view from our room 612. We can’t wait to return!

First off don’t listen to the bad reviews. This place is amazing. The rooms are bright we had a lovely view of the ocean line and the palms trees leading to the pool. We were all inclusive and i would say it’s worth regarding the drinks bar but personally the food was not it. It was mediocre and repetitive. But there it’s a self serve food bar and that it quiet nice. The staff were amazing and super helpful. The best part of our holiday had to be the animation team they put on shows every night and hosted the kids club they also were in in the morning doing activities for kids and adults they are absolutely brilliant so welcoming and warming always having the craic. Location is very secluded but taxi are always available and cheap. Would recommend solely on the animation team themselves!

We have just enjoyed 10 amazing nights at the Abora as a family with 2 children. Everything was fantastic - the room, the pools, the restaurant, the entertainment. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved the good vibes and music throughout the day and evening. We can't wait to come back with our friends! Thank you for a brilliant holiday 😊 We do not agree with negative reviews we have seen, some people just like to find problems with anything! Yes, there could be more shade (maybe some parasols?), but there are trees that provide shade so you can easily move your sunbed if you need to. We managed to find spots that could shade our youngest but still allow me to sunbathe.

Nice place with a relaxing atmosphere. The beach is just a 10-15 minute walk away, which is convenient. However, there are no umbrellas by the pool, which can be a bit inconvenient on hot days. Where I should start? The first thing: ignore all the negative reviews. There always will be moaners. So, my tip would be ignore it! The check in procedure was very prompt and clear instructions have been provided by receptionist Ana S. We got offered dinner before heading to our room. Our room was located in block 5, room 5408. It's a standard double room with view of mountains and motorway. The complimentary bottle of water was also provided. The room had a funny sewage smell initially but it didn't bother us much. The shower is massive with shower gel, shampoo,hand wash supplied. The towels changed on daily basis. Room service and cleaning are excellent. Don't forget to leave tips for maids as it's back breaking job. The downside of shower room was that it's no ventilation. The air con had no issues. Room supplied with the safe,but it's payable, 2€/day. It was no issues with noise at all as well. Food:gorgeous and delicious. Such a big choice. You'll never starve. Fresh fruits,bakery,themed nights,live cooking. Even picky eaters will find something.The waiting staff doing great job 👏 👍 Massive thanks to them all and chefs. Drinks: Big choice of cocktails,spirits, self service beer and wine taps. Snack bar is the best. Big shout and thanks to Ali. The top man. Pools: brilliant 👏 Not packed, with plenty of sunbeds and activities. No such a thing as sunbed war.Slides are suitable for all age groups. Snack bar will not let you be hungry. Entertainment: Daily activities are such good fun. Loved water polo and aqua fitness. The night shows are good fun. The vacation was really great. The room was large and clean. The complex in general is very clean and very well maintained. The entire staff is always friendly and helpful and the pool is nice and big. There is also an extra area for children. Food and drink of good quality and delicious. Ups: - I really like how they genuinely care and all is smoother with WhatsApp support - Welcome home sign! - filtered water at the room and equipped kitchen - every three days cleaning service with towel exchange - best sunsets! - they provided fitness equipment at my terras due to medical needs - hotel provide a shuttle to neighbouring cities for shopping Downs: - my room was located in front of the main street which led to a lot of noise! I would specify this before coming next time to be located in calmer appartment - they are in refurbishment but didn't provide of what exactly. I booked this place due to fitness after injury and they were refurbishing that exact segment during my visit. I recommend to write them prior hand in case you are coming for a specific reason, they are really responsive! - it has a view in sea but the accommodation is located 15 min by walk which was not ideal for my between meetings breaks :) - there is no proper supermarket by walking distance I would put 5* as everything was balanced at the end but the location of my apartment at the main street was quite disturbing my stay! Great staff, very friendly. Clean and basic apartments and very comfortable beds. A very useful curtesy bus to take you to the nearest towns and ports. Its is up on a big hill, but taxi back up is very cheap if you do not want to walk it. A great water park at the bottom of the hill, walking distance.

Great resort, walk-in shower, big balcony with table, chairs, sun loungers. Inside you've got a small kitchen, comfy sofa and TV. Bed is king-size with a comfy memory foam topper. The English TV channels are limited though on the TV, sky news/ BBC news/cnbc. The pool is salt water and very clean and there is a bar, restaurant and small shop on site. Parking is available if you've hired a car, but book that in advance because the alternative is a VERY long walk down the hill.

Reception lady was really rude with me and my friends, another Reception guy looks like is tired of talking and welcoming new guests. Maybe they need a holyday too. I recently stayed at Ura Jardín del Atlántico, and while there were some positives, the overall experience left much to be desired. Room Quality The rooms themselves are spacious, which is a plus, but they come without air conditioning—a surprising omission given the high temperatures. To make matters worse, the hotel charges for a fan, which felt unreasonable. Although the cleaning was regular, the standards weren’t great. I kept finding long dark hairs around the room, which, as a bald man, I can confidently say weren’t mine. Additionally, the beds are singles and don’t match properly, so creating a functional double bed was impossible. Restaurant & Food The food was generally okay, but nothing special. While most of it was edible, the lack of proper labeling was frustrating; some dishes were missing signs altogether, which made meal choices difficult. The real highlight here was the restaurant staff, who were incredibly hardworking and went above and beyond to provide good service despite the circumstances. Location The hotel is fairly well located, about a 10-minute walk from the Yumbo Centre and 15 minutes from the beach. There are plenty of shops nearby, which is convenient for guests. Facilities & Maintenance Unfortunately, maintenance work was ongoing during my stay, and the constant drilling and noise were unbearable. It was impossible to enjoy a quiet moment, let alone a lie-in, as the noise began early in the morning. This significantly detracted from the overall experience. Service & Check-In/Out The front desk experience was also disappointing. They request a €50 deposit upon check-in but were unable to clearly explain what it was for, leaving me uncertain whether I’d get it back until the day of checkout. As for a late checkout, when I inquired, the response was almost dismissive, with no flexibility at all. Conclusion While the location is good and the restaurant staff were fantastic, the lack of basic amenities (like air conditioning), the noise from maintenance, and poor communication regarding deposits and check-out policies made for a less-than-pleasant stay. It’s a budget-friendly option, but I’d recommend looking elsewhere if you’re after comfort and a more relaxing holiday.

The place is a 2-star hotel, The staff are present and helpful. The food in the restraunt is a good, not gourmet but acceptable. It is self-service, but the dishes do not have notes stating what they are, so it's a try it and see experience. The building and grouds are old and show signs of the need of a little more maintenance. But the general condition is good.

Positive: -Nice, clean pool area -more than enough sun beds -very polite personnel -very close to a couple of bars and restaurants Negative: -tapwater was smelling intensely moldy/stinky, like you'd image a public bathroom to smell -the breakfast was (with very little exceptions) always the same. We stayed for a week, so it was endurable, but imagine staying for longer... It was always English breakfast and standards like bread and jam etc. The exceptions were the sausages (switched between two kinds every day) and fried vegetables (switched between fried mushrooms and paprika). -the elevator to the beach was broken the whole week, which was a downer cause it was one of the reasons we chose that hotel.

I have stayed there once. The Cleaning Staff was nice, the Room after they cleaned was really great. At the Beach the Waves can get pretty high but that is rare. The Breakfast was good because you could get bacon, salad, smoothy or other juices. At the Dinner we had to pay for the Drinks but that is totally normal in Halfpension. Overall it is a nice Hotel and if you want you can even go in the Spar wich is 5 minutes with foot, there are even some Restaurants wich are nice.

**Had to drop a star since last visit. Room had no sink to clean dishes, had to wash in the bathroom sink. Asked for a slightly later checkout wasn't entertained at all despite the hotel seeming only half full, was willing to pay extra charge however as I said was dismissed, slightly disappointing. Hidden gem. Great location, views, pool and staff. Lift straight to the beach. Rooms cleaned daily. Bus stop on the door step. Nice little gym that's well maintained.

My husband and I have just had a lovely holiday in Gran Canaria staying at the Dona Luisa Hotel. The staff at this hotel are totally amazing - particularly Irene and Angie. Two very smart, pleasant, professional young ladies who were at reception. Their knowledge of places of interest in Gran Canaria was excellent and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The hotel may only have 3 stars but the quality of their staff is definitely 5 star . I miss coming downstairs in the morning to their smiling faces!! Gracias ladies!!

Very good hotel! Great location, off the side of the promenade, about 3 min walk. You won't get a great view from the room but you can walk to the sea in no time. The room itself was great and had a kettle and a cool light up ceiling over the bed. All the rooms have a name, which I thought was nice. The staff were really excellent! Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating, they really contributed to the good experience. Breakfast is quite basic in variety but has everything you'd need (eggs, meats, cereal, fruit, pastries etc) and I really enjoyed it.

Mainly Spanish tourists here, in a touristic area of Maspalomas. The flat has 2 floors, and 2 bedrooms. We'll equipped, very clean. Nice resort. Restaurant is good too. Everyday différent buffet. Personnel very nice. Swimming pool is super clean, warm water. Enought far by feet to beach, or center. A city bus service works. To rent a car, you can do it at hotel, or in ORLANDO agency at playa del Ingles, about 1,5km from hotel. Not always easy to find a place to park the car.

The food was ok apart from one night not getting any as they shut before the alloted time I was given glad I wasn't really hungry that night or I would have been quite angry really apartment was just fine apart from a weird lock on the first day I had trouble opening but after been shown the nak of doing it I was just fine The beach was about twenty five minutes walk away so because it was so hot had to get taxi but tried three different ones which was good hardly any good shops though just tourist ones most malls like ghost towns overall liked gran canaria people so friendly so very happy with my holiday there x

They should get 4 stars hotel because the service is outstanding. Very nice and always available for anything, nice and kind with the guests. They give you great recommendations and if you need parking they have agreement with a parking lot near by, we saved €80 in parking as day rate was €15 and thanks to the hotel's agreement it ended up being €10 per day. Other amenities given as per request such as kettle, iron and more.

I booked an interior room as it was the last one available. In reviews and on the website it says it has a window that opens onto the light well. I think this under sells the room. My expectations were low. If you are on floor 3 to 7 (we stayed in 602) the ‘light well’ is actually a 3 sided u shape of the building and not fully enclosed so you actually get a fair amount of light and actually a sneaky glimpse of the port area and sea in the distance. So do not be out off by the interior label it has. It is very good value for money hence the 5 stars.

The hotel is extremely well located at the far end of the beach, away from the less pleasant touristy parts of the strip. The rooftop bar had amazing views with great music, snacks and drinks, highly recommend watching the sunset here. The room was very clean, modern and very spacious. The welcome note on the TV was a lovely touch. The guy at the reception was super nice, he even called the restaurant to make a reservation for me. The whole experience was refreshing especially because I had a terrible stay in another hotel nearby and decided to move to aloe canteras last minute. It would have been the perfect stay but the AC stopped working at night and started blowing warm air, there is no phone in the room and calling reception through the app didn't work. There is no soundproofing and you can hear everything, the cleaning staff was super loud especially. It's impossible to sleep in. Overall I'd still recommend this hotel as it is very good value for your money and if I come back to Gran Canaria, I'd probably stay here again!

Good hotel. Superior apartment was well equipped and had a lovely balcony. Pools were great although the lift to the splash park was out of service for the 2 weeks we were there which was difficult as the pool there was the only one shallow enough for the baby so we had to leave the buggy upstairs and walk down steps carrying him. Otherwise, no issues getting sun loungers. Kids club was just ok, my 4 year old went but didn't seem to be engaged in any games, it's more of a childcare service I would say. He enjoyed it in small doses nonetheless. Housekeeping was good although for our room the time they came each day was 2pm which didn't work for us as it was in the middle of the kids nap time (it was too hot to be outside). Overall a decent place to stay, location was great and facilities were good for the price. Would certainly return.

We just came back from a wonderful family (kids 11&8) holiday here, we spent a week in this place, we can't fault it. Yes the place is huge and it takes a few mistakes on the lifts to get your bearings but it's not that bad, we saw a few dead cockroaches but non in our room, it seems like they are putting a lot of effort in pest controling. Coming in August, the room options were with air conditioning or without, we chose a 1 bedroom superior(642), which is air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan as well, great choice, if someone chooses to save a bit of money and then complain about the heat, it's their problem, the room was very clean, the size of the room is very good, the bathroom is very big, the beds are very comfortable, the terrace is very big and has sunbeds, table and chairs and an outdoor shower. We saw a few complaints about the food quality, both me and my wife are in the hospitality industry, we were very impressed with the quality, variety, every single dinner was different, in the morning it was mostly the same but again, the variety of cheeses, cold meat etc is more than enough. The restaurant staff are great, the cooks are great, we enjoyed every meal and always made feel welcomed. A tip, if you plan to leave before breakfast you can ask a day in advance and they will prepare breakfast to go. The area itself is very nice for an evening walk, the supermarket opposite the hotel is reasonable, the restaurants opposite provide nice evening music on your terrace 😀 but weren't very appealing. Overall the kids enjoyed the room, the pool, the food, the entertainment and just didn't want to go back. We didn't go to the quiet pool because if you have two large pools and a small splash park for the kids, why would you go to the quiet pool and tell your kids to be quiet and ruin the atmosphere for others, ridiculous to complain about it. We already planning to go back at one point and enjoy again, thanks to all the team for a wonderful holiday.

Generally nice apartments with kitchenette and balcony. Many come without air con, and we made the mistake of not booking a room with it. Even in September temperatures are 27/28 in daytime and 21/23 at night. We asked to change to an a/c room which accommodated without fuss. It cost a little more but we really like the new room. Also has bigger balcony and better views.

If you ask for a renovated and (somewhat) quiet room it’s really not as bad as reviews make it. Only quite noisy from the outside neighbors sometimes (so bring headphones to sleep) and I feel the room could have been cleaned better. But definitely worth for what you’re paying.

I understand the people saying it is “outdated” (we are staying in an updated Superior room), however, the service we have received this far and the cleanliness of the room and the hotel is exceptional! I’m not a person who is hard to satisfy, I understand that you get what you pay for, and for the price my partner and I paid we couldn’t be happier. -AC in the room -Friendly, approachable staff (of whom went above and beyond to accommodate my father, who injured himself prior to the flight, out ended up needing to hire a mobility scooter, the staff were unaware at time of arrival of this, allowed him to store and charge his scooter in a secure place as it couldn’t fit in the lift to his room) -Early check-in upon arrival with no extra charge -No noise issues at night time -Perfect location for local amenities -Inexpensive I had read some of the reviews prior to the visit and I was in two minds but I’m so glad I came to see for myself, as my personal experience this far has been top notch, but that’s not to downplay anyone else’s, this is just my own opinion. For under £1000 I couldn’t really ask for much else.

You get what you pay for. My partner and I have recently stayed at this hotel for 2weeks. We had specifically upgraded to a superior room to have one of the renovated rooms. On entry we found a few things that weren’t cleaned properly but we moved passed it as that’s expected from a 3star hotel. For the first 4days of our stay there was no sign of room service and we started to get really irritated because our bin was over flowing along with other bits and bobs that needed to be taken care off. On the 5th day we finally had a lovely lady come and sorted us out everyday until the end of our stay.I never caught her name but she was the one that made our stay better. Half way through cooking our dinner the electricity went,we waited about 15mins for someone to come and have a look at what the problem was.In the end it was just the stove but I’d be happy to have known that before entering the room as it’s not good to mess with hungry people. The hallways were a little scary if you were walking through during the night. Sometimes they didn’t turn on and sometimes they did. Close to the main attractions. Moving passed all the obstacles we would come back as the area is quiet and allows you to relax.

Sharing my experience after almost a week in a all inclusive room with my family. Everything in this hotel could be better, but still not too bad for the price. Of course we knew that it wouldn't be a perfect experience so we've got what we paid for, be ready for some cons and pros. - Food has a huge variety with something different everyday, but not all food is cooked well to be tasty. Also bar is a bit limited for all included guests. - Apartments are fine for a budget stay, but nothing more. Specially is a bad idea to rent only two rooms for more persons. There even was a toaster in the kitchen, but the room fuses were blown everytime we turn it on. - Cleaning was a bit weird. It was said to be cleaned once in a three days, but has actually been done quite chaotically without amy shedule. Also in a whole week they didn't change any bed sheets at all. - Be ready for some insects as well like ants and several cockroaches (outside the room). Still theys amount is quite small to be a problem. - Service was 50/50. Maybe after living in Finland I expected too much, but it wasn't always friendly and sometimes even rude. Still some staff was really nice (special credits to a girl named Carla for her service). - It is nice when apartments are so close to the pool, but the real problem is how noisy it is in the room. Folk is always partying with music at least until 23:00 with some activities during the day as well. - And the last one but not least is the aesthetical part of the stay. Exterior of the hotel looks really nice with awesome views from the hill. Hotel also provides a free bus to the beach, but the half an hour walk to it is also nice. P.S. have seen three cats and even petted one

3 star apartments. The swim up room was clean but looked out onto a concrete wall. There are cockroaches, watch out! Food was good and receptionists very pleasant and efficient. A steep walk down to the beach & town; they lay on a coach I think 3 times daily- or we had a car which was great. Free parking out the front. Evenings are loud and focused around bingo, footy on TV and karaoke, we escaped into town to a nice beach club and watched the sunset- infinitely preferable but of course no all inclusive drink! It was worth it. But to each, his own.

After reading a mix of reviews and it being the first time travelling with 3 young children, to say I was nervous was an understatement. We didn't encounter any issues at all during our stay. We had a 2 bedroom swim up room, with garden view (number 46), the apartment was lovely, had everything we needed, nice and modern, the only thing we slightly missed was air con (it was available to rent but we decided against it), there were fans in each of the room so we kept them on and kept it just about cool enough for us. Amazing staff at the hotel, everyone friendly, especially Prasanna, he was absolutely amazing with the children, finding things for them to do and involving them. Maids were fantastic and cleaned most days. Food was great, it was samey at times but lots of choice and we never had anything that didn't taste good. The waiters/waitresses were brilliant with cleaning up finished plates and drinks. Self serving drinks (beer and soft drinks) was brilliant. Slush puppy also a great bonus. Although there was only 3 cocktails on all inclusive (2 alcoholic, 1 mocktail) they were all very good. Never had a problem with seating. We only used the main pool once during our stay due to having the swim up pool, no issues to getting sun beds. We enjoyed a few evenings entertainment however it was very late for the children (started at half 9) so we couldn't do every night. The only thing missing was there wasn't loads of entertainment for children, however there wasn't many children there so could possibly be why. The location is absolutely stunning, very scenic, however being surrounded by hills/mountains made it difficult for travel with the 3 young children, this didn't matter too much though as we had the swim up rooms where we spent most of our time. Having a shop onsite was ideal. The swim up pool has got to be one of the best things about the stay. We spent most of our time in the pool or around it. The pool was cold, but once you had got in it didn't feel too bad. The terraces were quite shaded which was ideal for us with the children, the other side of the pool was a terrace in the sun with more sunbeds and umbrellas. We really did have the best time and would love to return.

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a very short city break holiday. The service by all the staff members is great. However not the same can be said about the rooms - they need major refurbishment for all aspects of the room including the toilets. It all feels very outdated in 2024. The location is okay and good for those staying in the local area as there are supermarkets, beaches and places to eat and shop within walking distances. The hotel can be very cheap if you happen to get lucky however, be warned that it is very dated and needs work doing.

Great location but quite an old building with dark hallways which was a bit eerie. The room itself was big and comfortable. Not modern but it was clean. The walls are quite thin. I didn’t spend much time there because I was pretty much out all day. Inclusive breakfast was basic but was okay.

Great value hotel. 3 min walk to beach - 15 to the best area for sunbathing. 20m walk to excellent shopping centre or surfing area. Great food available at restaurants/cafes nearby. The staff are so helpful - a real asset to the hotel. It's a shame rooms do not have balconies or fridge but they are basic and comfortable. The hotel has an excellent roof terrace (found space to do yoga in the sun every morning) with a delightful heated pool, small gym we used everyday, sauna and bar. All this and breakfast buffet included. Superb value for money.

This is a great hotel. It is clean, fantastic pool, nice food and above all lovely staff. The staff make the place from reception to hospitality to the cleaning staff. Rooms are very comfortable and cleaned daily to a high standard. The hotel is in a great location for trips out on the frequent bus service which picks you up and drops you off within a 1 minute walk away. The hotel is also very safe and secure. Whether you are a family, solo traveller, couple, of any age, the hotel welcomes you. I went for the first time last year and did not hesitate to choose this venue again.

Exceptional staff. Clean and comfortable- room was cleaned daily, amazing friendly staff. Lady in the bar is a delight and made you smile. Breakfast choice was ok. Be up early for sun loungers- they go fast. No kids around so it was super peaceful and relaxing. Location is great. Had a late flight and checkout was 12. They offered a courtesy room free of charge where you can shower and change (but you only get 1/2hour).

In October we stayed at the Buenos Aires aparthotel for the third time, this time for 21 days. As before, we were satisfied with everything. This was the first time we had half board, which was a good choice, and I can especially praise the breakfast. We were accommodated as we had requested, the welcome, the kind and friendly attitude of the staff, the cleanliness and the facilities were, as before, excellent. For me, the size and comfort of the bed in the bedroom was important and I was very satisfied with it. A special mention must be made of the fact that a technical problem that arose (on a Sunday afternoon!) was solved immediately. I hope we will be able to use this excellent hotel again in the future.

We stayed here for 5 days while exploring Gran Canaria and were really impressed. Right across the road from the Yumbo centre with lots of places to eat and drink. The staff were lovely, we got free parking here as well. The place has air con but you have to pay €12 a day for it to be turned on in your room which I thought was a bit weird but we needed it for the heat and it was great. Good breakfast selection (included in price) and lovely pool. We really enjoyed it and will be back in a few months.

Location is perfect. Very quiet, walking distance to the beach, 5m to Citá, 15m to Yumbo, and plenty of shops and restaurants around, Staff is simply 5*. The apartments are well appointed, with a Moroccan inspired decor, comfy and cosy. The swimming pool area, although small. Is very cosy, relaxing with plenty of shade provided by palm and coconut trees, and the beach sand in the floor is a great touch. Impeccably clean inside and out. This is an experience to repeat.

Comfortable small bungalows. Air con really efficient. Wet room shower, safe, clean and well maintained. Towels could be changed daily and maid visits daily. Loved the free shuttle bus to the beach and back. Our room had one double bed and one single bed in the bedroom. TV even has complimentary Netflix which is a nice addition.

Decided to book this hotel based on general location. On arrival, it is easy to miss as not well signed, checkin was positive, friendly and quick abd we were soon on our way to apartment which is a canary style village with four apartments in each villa unit. Our villa was close by main complex, only downside was that we faced exterior hedge so not much view. Apartment consists of a patio area with personal sun loungers, table and chairs. Entrance into lounge with sofa, table, television and kitchenette with fridge , hob, microwave, toaster, kettle. Large bathroom with walk in shower 🚿. Bedroom with double and single bed and large wardrobe. Apartment was clean and serviced regularly, was a bit tight for space, think if there had been any more than the two of us it would have been unmanageable. Small pool, plenty loungers with umbrellas and never felt busy. Separate area with Bali style beds, you can hire these for €5 a day, they are though on desperate need of refurbishment as looking worse for wear. Only used restaurant once as we prefer to eat out and had gone self catering. Food was okay, good selection. You are limited in what is near hotel and need to drive, get taxi anywhere else. They do operate a bus shuttle during day to beach front which is worthwhile. Evening entertainment is very limited, some pub style singers, atmosphere was very quiet. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and go all inclusive then it's okay. If you like eating out, then it's a taxi anywhere else. Area is safe around hotel, albeit starting to look a bit rough and in need of refurbishment. Probably wouldn't go again as location and entertainment could have been better.

Hotel And chalet rooms was excellent and the food amazing.. However there was a lack of food to snack on in between meals. Cake only. For an all inclusive package this was disappointing. But overall definitely would stay again and deserves it's stars.

Currently on our last day of a 2 week stay all inclusive at Canary garden club. The hotel is a gem of a find as accomodation is spotless all bungalows are well equipped and kept very clean by great staff. The food is very good with a good choice throughout the day. The bar staff are friendly and keep drinks drinks coming with a smile . The hotel I situated slightly outside of mas Palomas but throughout the day after bus is available at half hour intervals and is only a 5 minute drive away. At night a taxi is only 6 euro to mas Palomas so all in all a very pleasing holiday with none of the stresses of getting up early watching people fight for bedds as plenty are aavailable.

My wife and i stayed at the apartments from July 4th to 14th. We were in room 175. The apartments themselves are ideally situated around the picturesque harbour. They should be a gem of a holiday property, but unfortunately, they are very tired and dated. Each block had rooftop sunbathing area's. However, the sun beds are very worn and dated, and there aren't any umbrellas to shade from the sun. Tranquil from the bust pool, but not practical due to there being no shaded areas. The beds were very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was the best we've had anywhere. The rooms could do with some coat hooks, though, to hang beach towels or wet clothing etc. The bathrooms look the most dated, and I'm sure it's time to remove the baths for shower cubicles. I heard that 1 elderly gentleman fell stepping out of the bath and required hospital treatment. The issue is that there are NO handrails to hold onto. For health and safety reasons, Bin the bath and bidet and instal walk-in showers. Try and issue plugs for kitchen sinks and instal more sockets. Cracking full-length mirror in the bedroom, but not an electrical point in sight. Same issue in kitchen, could only plug in the toaster or the kettle. Would I stay again, Yes

The appartments were spacious & had everything necessary for self catering etc. They were serviced most days, though this wasn't a problem to us. Initially I was disappointed with the original appartments as they were in need of a bathroom update. We were offered alternatives which I happily accepted. This was the second time we have been to P.de Mogan, having stayed in the hotel in December. We will definitely return & wouldn't hesitate to book the appartments again

I will start with positives: -good location -extremely pretty exteriors ( you're staying in the colourful houses in Puerto de Mogan) -often cleaning -roof top areas to relax in Now for the bad parts, firstly it is *full* of cockroaches. In the apartments, on the streets, everywhere. The parking situation is not good, there is no parking for the properties, however some 14£ a day spaces and some on the street (limited). The apartment we stayed in is very old. The water is not great, hot water in the shower lasts only a few minutes, and the water pressure is terrible in my opinion, then becomes freezing. Worst showering I have ever experienced, and it is so important in hot weather to shower. They even turned off/ broke our water for around 6 hours, which meant we could not go out as we were covered in sweat from hot weather, so we missed a whole day thanks to this place, so if you value getting out early keep in mind you may have to forgo showering as water flow can completely stop for very long times. They are very stingy on towels. I can understand it may take lots of water, however again it is essential to be hygienic, but they keep taking them and not replacing them, or just not replacing them at all. The air conditioning leaks over the beds too.

Puerto Rico is my go to holiday destination and Terrazamar is a fantastic hotel. I recommend a room with a jacuzzi, it's worth it! The hotel also contains two pools, a convenience store with everything you'd need, and a bakery next door that sells fresh baguettes and baked goods. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and to top it off this hotel is a literal 3 minute walk from The Mall and Commercial centre. The smoking/non-smoking policy around the pools needs clarification as there are no signs around the main pools themselves, but is apparently non-smoking which I do not see on the hotel description.

We've stayed here several times now and the hotel is more than satisfactory. We always opt for a room with a terrace jet pool and these are honestly a life saver in the hot weather. Rooms are clean with all the amenities you need, and most importantly, AC in the bedroom. Very close to the commercial centre which makes day trips and nights out a piece of cake. Will definitely be looking to stay here again on future visits.

Generally, very good service and everything you need within the resort. Obviously, you will pay a little extra for the convenience of the small store and bar/cafe being within the hotel, but no complaints from us. There were 2 downfalls for us; the first was that the terraces/balconies were not very private at all. We found it just a little weird, being on the ground floor of the sun suite, that our neighbours could just walk into our terrace if they pleased. The second was that the rooms are generally not in the best condition, a lot of patch ups, and just looks and feels a bit dated. Overall we would return though as the staff were friendly and helpful, and maid service was very good!

Lovely hotel in a great location, with easy access to the shopping centre and mogan mall. Rooms were very nice and spacious very large balcony, some times got smell of drains from the bathroom but it wouldn’t put me off as the apartments were excellent. The pool area was nice and we all ways managed to get a sun bed whatever time we went there.They done a special offer on the breakfast if you payed for your whole stay in advance, 5 euros per day and it was really nice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend

Unfortunately the room we were in which is there most expensive was not good, Only difference between this and the cheapest was on a higher floor, bigger balcony. Had ants in the room constantly, reported 4 times, and nothing was done. Large towels were never replaced. Either was the small dish cloth in 2 weeks. The pool was ok, the location was good, but i won't be using again.

The bungalows were really old, dirty and stinky. The location is near the sea and well located to move around the only positive thing! In the night you could hear the person next to your room even if they were talking and there is no control of keeping the quiet. Cleaners were coming to tidy up the bed, buts sheets were not changed and bathroom was not cleaned. The bed were two single one which during the night you had to be careful how to move. Food at the breakfast was a poor quality and bad organised! Anyway I think they need a really huge improvement because there is a lot missing. For the price you pay, choose something different, that definitely you will find something nicer.

Our bungalow overlooking the pool was immaculately clean. The bungalows are basic. But comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Had the essentials. Check in staff, and housekeeping all very friendly. The pool is very busy. We had hoped to swim, but it's not really that sort of setup It's more geared to pool games. The pool gets taken over regularly by activities for the kids. I'd prefer a kids' games pool and one for guests to swim. Usually, we book self-catering, but it wasn't an option, so we chose b&b. Breakfast is very basic, chaotic and noisy. Out of our 7 days we ate out 5 of the days instead. There's a great little shop on site for essentials. It's less than 15 minutes walk to Yumbo. We brought a hire car and parking is very restricted. Both on the street of Vistaflor and the main road before it. We would return based on location and price.

Just returned home after a week in vista flor we had a good holiday the bungalow was very clean and comfortable.the staff are very friendly from the dinning room staff to the bar staff to the cleaners.lots of beds around the pool . there was a large group of people that came on the Friday till Sunday they were Spanish from a church group so very busy and noisy in the restaurant for those two days .but the staff mainly fran always got us a table so all good the food is good we never said there wasn't any choice for us . all in all a good time was had by us

WOW is the first word that comes to mind when staying at the Idyll suites! We are arrived in the evening and we were greeted by Ester. Ester is fantastic and checked us in and then took us to our room (D5) The Idyll has 49 suites There are lifts available if the stairs up to your room seem to energetic for a relaxing holiday. Ester ran through the essentials, about the hotel. We loved our room and we arrived in the dark but could already tell we had a great view. We had a sitting room/kitchen area, a large bedroom, a bathroom with a shower and a very large balcony. We had a TV, table and chairs and a settee in the sitting area. There were a few English News channels. We could not get our TV to work, even though we had followed the printed instructions. Maintenance had fixed the problem within an hour of us reporting the problem (We needed a new TV box) The kitchen is very well equipped, a 4 ring hob and a combination microwave/grill and a fridge with a freezer compartment. There were plenty of plates/glasses/cutlery etc There were baking trays and plenty of utensils There was even washing up liquid, a cloth and tea towel, which is a very nice touch. We were Bed & Breakfast and had not planned to do any eating in the room,but it was definitely possible in this suite. The bathroom was also spacious and has his and hers sinks, a walk in shower, toilet and bidet. Plenty of fresh towels and decent size bottles of shampoo, soap & shower gel are provided. The Bedroom had two beds pushed together a large wardrobe with shelves and what seemed to be a sofa bed and a comfy chair The large balcony had a table and chairs, and 2 sun loungers The suite was spotlessly clean and was cleaned everyday except Sunday and Tuesday. The housekeeping team were excellent and did a very good job The wifi worked well in our room, and we were able to stream Netflix on our tablets. (It was not as good when the hotel filled up during a Spanish bank holiday but it did still work) As mentioned in other reviews there is no aircon, but there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom and on in the living area, it was 30+ degrees whilst we were at the Idyll Suites and the fans did keep our suite cool The Pool area was also huge and there were more than enough sunbeds for the guests. The sunbeds have a thick mattress which is very comfy, there are some wider sunbeds, which are a real luxury. As mentioned in previous review you are given a bag with a towel for your sunbed, a pillow and towel to dry yourself with. We could change these towels after 5 days. The pool is gorgeous, it is salt water and you can even see the sea whilst in the pool! The pool and surrounding area are cleaned daily and are spotless The pool bar is also where breakfast and food is served and this is at one end of the pool area. The hotel is next door to a small commercial centre, in the commercial centre is a Spar supermarket, a couple of bars, a handful of restaurants, a hairdressers, a pharmacy and an estate agents. (There are no other shops that we came across in Playa Del Cura.) The beach is a short 5 minute walk away. There are also buses that are extremely frequent, that can be caught from the bus stop just near the hotel. Taxis are also readily available close to the hotel. Meals are served in the restaurant area. Breakfast is served until 10.30am. There are cooked breakfasts, of omlettes and different types of eggs, as well as an English breakfast available. There are also continental options, Bread, cheese ham, yoghurt, toast, jam etc The food was all well cooked and delicious. Bea is a constant presence in the restaurant, she is very friendly and soon learns the guests regular drinks orders. Bea, as are the rest of the staff at this hotel are all hardworking, approachable and friendly. They are an asset to the Idyll Suites We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Idyll suites, the hotel is fantastic, well kept and maintained. The biggest asset are all the hardworking staff who really do make it a pleasure to stay at the Idyll suites

We had a suite on the 2nd floor that was a perfect position to over look the pool and have sea view . It was a loverly spacious suite , pool area great and the sun beds are super big and soft . It's a shame the restaurant/bar was not open at night on our visit. But in the near by resorts there are many restaurants and bar . Also at the night of summer (hot) I think the rooms would be hot as no air-con . Rooms did have large ceiling fans . We would visit again . Had a fab time .

Perfect holiday, suites are very well appointed and whole hotel is immaculately clean. The pool area is second to none, the comfiest sun loungers we've ever had and you get a super luxury towel and pillow! Playa de Cura is an ideal area to explore the island bus service is fantastic, 91 bus to airport is a lot faster than getting a transfer! As previously voiced by others Esther really does make your holiday easy and enjoyable.

We booked one room for only 2 nights and was planning to stay in different areas of the island, but at the end we have extended our stay to 7 nights! Amazing view, very fresh, high quality and calm breakfast experience, calm pool area, but we preferred the terrace to spend time also since its a huge place with 2 sun beds. Very large room with 2 bedrooms, one common living area with full equipped kitchen, nice table and sofas, and a huge bathroom. Every day cleaning, and suites itself generally very clean. Location is very convenient, there are many restaurants around and a small beach in 5 min walk, with the car all other beaches at most 15 min distance, it was very convenient location for us. Car parking is closed garage under the building where always plenty of space and very convenient. And one last word for all stuff is amazing, especially Ester made us feel like we are home, and we were almost crying when we leave the place. Very much hoping to be back here again.

Fantastic rooms all with great views of sunrise and the bay. Pool layout is great with plenty of beds, many of which are king-size; towels and pillows are ideal for the comfy mattresses of the sun beds. TV limited but then who needs it on holiday these days with tech gear and wifi is unlimited and decent speed. Pool is definitely not heated! Very big though with effective aqua jets and easy steps in/out. No kids, no inflatables, enjoyable swimming. Mini pool probably more of a hot summer attraction. 5 minute walk to beach but no bars just hotels there. Music from Centre bars is loud most nights but finishes by 11. Spar in Centre very good. Only problem for some would be slope/steps to get downtown and to bus stops. Fantastic bus service up and down coast and to Las Palmas. €1.40 for trip to Mogan, €20 taxi home. Ester is perfect host and will offer any help/info required. Will return!

Enjoyed a nice week here. Views are amazing. Pools are lovely. Food is very good but as with All Inclusive can get a bit samey after a week. It was very busy while we were there so lunch and dinner times were pretty hectic finding seats. Also because of the numbers it didn't feel that personal. Rooms were nice but set up as twins but had great views. Lots of steps down to the local beach but the bay is well worth it.

Review of The Servatur Puerto Azul Hotel (October 2024) We had a wonderful stay at The Servatur Puerto Azul Hotel in October 2024. Here's a detailed breakdown of our experience: Location: The hotel is ideally located near Playa de Puerto Rico, a lovely child-friendly beach accessible via 709 steps (about 20 minutes down). If you prefer not to walk back, taxis are available for €5 one way. We rented four sunbeds and two parasols for €21. Nearby amenities include a McDonald's, an 8-minute walk away, and a shop just seconds from the beach, making it convenient for essentials. The area is excellent for exploring local dining and shops, plus a mini-golf course within a 10-minute walk. Facilities: The hotel offers excellent facilities, including multiple pools suitable for all ages. The kids' club was a highlight, with dedicated staff making it enjoyable for younger guests. There is daily aqua aerobics for adults, as well as slides and arcade games. Just be cautious of slippery areas around the pools—pool shoes are recommended. There were plenty of sunbeds available, so late risers could secure their spots. Food: The dining was fantastic, with various fresh options for all meals. We found many choices as vegetarians, though some promised vegan items needed to be included. The food labelling could be more explicit, but this was a minor issue since we never went hungry. Desserts were a particular hit, and the staff kept everything clean and replenished. Room + Service: Our spacious room had stunning views. We chose a sea view, which offered beautiful sunsets, though a beach view might have been preferable. The kitchenette was handy, but we primarily used the restaurant. Unfortunately, our room wasn't cleaned one day, and while reception promised to address it, we had to return for fresh towels. This was inconvenient and slightly affected our experience. Entertainment: Entertainment for adults was lacking; a performance of The Greatest Showman wasn't great to be honest, but our child loved it, giving it an 8/10! Overall, younger guests had plenty of fun activities. Overall: Despite a few minor setbacks, we had a fantastic time. The staff were generally attentive (except for one moody chef), and the hotel provided a great family atmosphere. We would love to return in the future—thanks to everyone for a memorable holiday!

My partner and I stayed here for 10 days and our first time in Gran Canaria. I am so glad we stayed here and can’t wait to book again. The staff were so friendly and great there were adult only sections in the hotel. Good selection of cocktails included in the all inclusive, beer and other drinks. The food selection was good, something for everyone, if anything some of the food wasn’t the warmest but that can be expected at buffets. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

Just on our last day here. The 1st 6 days were lovely couldn't fault anything . The last 4 have been awful. Way too busy . The dining room is manic , an accident waiting to happen , people pushing and shoving , children running around and putting their hands in the food. The food itself has deteriorated as well. No where as nice as last week . Difficult to find a table to sit at in the evening and if you go later they stop putting food out and clear up around you. Even the cleanliness of our room was bad the last 4 days . The shower wasn't cleaned and when you walked around after a shower our feet were dirty. The floor wasn't mopped the whole time we were there. The staff the last few days weren't as friendly as previously very young and never smiled . The adults only area at the top was beautiful stunning views and where we spent our time. However the adults only spa at the bottom ...you couldn't get in . It's very small and the same people put their towels out every day. The entertainment wasn't very good either. We enjoyed 1 night where 3 soul singers did a show . I would say this hotel is only geared up for families and while we got this holiday at a good price I would certainly not pay the increased prices they are planning for next year !

Really great family friendly hotel. Staff and Animation team really good. Food is varied and mostly good. Drinks are self service so didn't have to queue much, though self service machines did run out most days and took a while to be changed. Pools were excellent, lots of choice, good for children and adults only areas really luxurious. Local beaches both nice but a bit of a walk down a lot of steps so easier to get a taxi back. Rooms were very nice, though you are a bit reliant on the lifts (elevators) which can be quite busy, to get to the main area. Fortunately once there everything is quite central and a short walk between facilities such as pools, food areas, football pitch etc. Would definitely return.

One of the best hotels I have been to. Has definitely the best gym, a very large spa and it is free of charge. The service is brilliant, very clean and cosy. The food is awesome. I would give it 5 stars, since it is far better than many 5 star hotels I have been to.

Well  this is going to be my first 5 star  review for a hotel. First the only negatives,  2E a day for an electronic  safe.  This seems to be almost universal  in Spain  though sadly. So I'm not going to mark them down for that because everything else exceeds expectations, but I do think it's a bit steep. Vaping and smoking being banned round the main pool,  whilst vaping is treated differently  to smoking in almost every civilised  country including Spain you can only vape in the smoking areas  and there are non round the main pool.  But the much nicer garden area does have a smoking area. We booked this hotel for a 2 week stay,  full board as we'd had enough of all inclusive  and wanted to see a bit of the island.  So can't comment on the drinks or lunch,  snacks. But I didn't hear anyone complain. When we arrived the room was very hot and the air con wouldn't work. I got that sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach, but reception said they'd send their technician,  he turned up quickly , scratched  his head a bit and promised to be back in 5 mins.  Well  I don't know if he kept to that but when we got back to our room an hour later,  air con all working room nice and cool.  Brilliant  service.  I firmly believe that you can judge a place partly  on how they deal with problems.  This was a very welcome change and they deserve full credit for it. The food was always good and plentiful, the breakfast served until 1030 for those that like a lay in. Unlike many hotels I've stayed in the food is still kept fresh and topped up until the end of service,  so if you turn up in the last 20 mins you still get a nice meal,  not the dregs. I was positively surprised  by the quality and choice of the food.  Certainly a cut above what I expected at breakfast and dinner The maids visited daily and always did an excellent job,  like the rest of the hotel our  room was kept spotless . Always managed to get a sun  bed,  one of the areas is grass rather than tiled  which is really nice. Especially  for kids running about. That is where the smoking/ vaping area is. The room was very well appointed  with what looks like quite new fixtures and fittings.  A little small but I only slept in there.  There is loads of storage space and a very large balcony  with 2 chairs and a plastic sofa, both with seat cushions.  2 drying  lines for pool towels and swimwear. The shower is a traditional  shower head with a rainwater over the head type as well. The rooms are VERY well insulated  against outside  noise. With an additional patio door. I've stayed in much worse supposed 4 star hotels in the canaries, i honestly can not believe this is only classed  as a three  star. It deserves  a fourth and would still get a 5 star review from me if it were a 4 star. We were warned that there was building work in an adjacent hotel and given the option to move by our tour operator before arrival, I'm so glad we decided not to. The location is good, about a 20 min walk from the centre of playa del ingles, there is parking onsite  although you need to be back by about 1530 to get a space. There is also parking within easy walking distance on the roads. The beds were comfortable  and all the staff except the lifeguard were friendly but not overly so. The lifeguard  is a little officious  and maybe needs to spend more time watching the pool  than telling people off. Finally the spa and gym,  don't discount them, the gym is basic equipment but perfectly good for working off at least some of those extra calories you're going to ingest. The spa is great,  sure it's not the very best out there,  but it's free to use and goes  well above and beyond if you bear  this in mind.  Don't miss the flotarium,  amazing. So in terms of money paid and quality of food,  service,  amenities  and staff attitude I think this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I'm hard to please but have no hesitation what so ever in giving a 5 star review.  Keep doing what you're doing,  thank you for an amazing 14 nights and I promise we'll be back

Very good value all inc food stay. Rooms are fairly basic but very clean and the staff are all very friendly. The 3rd floor mini golf and basement games room and very fancy spa all add up to make this a unique experience.

Absolutely fantastic clean rooms large clean and modern, food is great a good choice. Location is perfect bus stop outside and station around the corner along with excursion office. Beach and beautiful walk ways access near bus station again just minutes to walk too. A spar with reasonable prices across the street for things like water etc .....

Firstly we would definitely stay here again,just hopefully a different room,Adult only,complex and rooms kept very clean,Aircon in living room area,swimming pool,small onsite Bar,plenty of sunbeds(most usually towell reserved early morning)use of Eden complex next door with bigger pool etc...free wifi was ok,tv,hairdryer,fridge,location great for us,up top near Europa center,taxi rank right opposite. We had a few gripes with the onsite location of our room unfortunately,we had a room right next to the side access gate which people,rather than closing it kept leaving it to slam at all hours,perhaps a sign to close it quietly at night? Same as the stairs to the upper level which are attached to the outside wall of the room,some of us are in bed before 3am! and this particular room didnt get any sun until it came around late afternoon. Late stay room not available on this occasion but Eden have luggage room,showers etc to use until you leave,check out was 12pm. Overall a great place,if we where situated in one of the sunny balcony rooms away from the gate and stairs id have definitely scored more,we had a good holiday overall.

Beautiful. Friendly staff, always ready to help. The only thing that upset me was other people leaving so much rubbish around by the pool when they had finished sunbathing for the day, especially when bins are around the area. There are young children about who could trip and fall over this mess. It's everyone's responsibility to keep things clean, not just staff!

Stayed for a week in mid june. Nice , quiet adults only apartments. Rooms are modern and clean. Staff are super friendly. Lovely pool area. No hassle getting a sun lounger. There is a supermarket on the complex and another directly across the road.Puerto rico is a 20 to 25 min stroll downhill. Taxi back up is only 7 euros. Will definitely return at some point

1st time staying in Bungavillas normally stay at Eden apartments but we were not disappointed. Stayed in room 20 with balcony had the sun on it all day and night was fab, not having to pack a bag everytime to go sunbathing. The apartment was nice and clean not the biggest but for just the 2 of us it was big enough. Aircon in livingroom but patio doors have to be closed for it to work (took us 3days to figure it out lol ) only downside was none in bedroom, so I would advise take a fan with you, there are sockets next to beds to plug them in. The cleaners came every 2cnd day, clean towels provided whenever we needed them. Shower in bathroom was great after a day in the sun. Plenty of sun loungers available round the pool with a small bar which also sold food. Although you're opposite the Europa centre its still quiet during the day you can't here any noise at night if you close over patio doors. We will definitely be back next year loved every minute ❤️

I stayed at the hotel for seven nights. Upon arrival, I was greeted in a friendly manner by the receptionist, who provided clear instructions on how to access my room and locate the dining area, as I had arrived after the food service had closed at 11 pm. She kindly offered to store my luggage while I had dinner. The room was suitably spacious, with a comfortable bed and an adequately sized bathroom and shower.The accommodations provided fresh towels daily and maintained a clean environment. The staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality throughout the stay. The establishment features two primary swimming pools, one with a lively atmosphere and the other offering a more serene ambiance. Both pools provide an enjoyable atmosphere with music. Upon check-in, guests are required to make a €50 security deposit, which is fully refundable. Additionally, each guest receives a pool towel card. The dining options include a consistent breakfast and lunch menu, complemented by a snack bar that offers a variety of hot and cold dishes throughout the day, including hotdogs, burgers, and pizzas. The hotel provides an app for guests to conveniently request maintenance or room service, as well as access information on poolside activities and evening entertainment. On-site amenities include a mini supermarket and a salon offering massage services. I personally experienced a delightful and relaxing full-body massage. The hotel's location is strategically situated near excellent bars and restaurants, providing guests with diverse dining and entertainment options within a short walking distance.

This hotel is a fantastic option for families. However, I would not recommend it for couples, as it can get quite noisy. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was satisfactory, but I would suggest expanding the main course options. The menu primarily consists of fish or pork, with occasional chicken dishes. The salad selection, however, is quite extensive. It would be wonderful if the breakfast service included a chef who could prepare omelets. With a wider variety of choices, the restaurant has the potential to be even better. There was a BBQ one night, it would be good if you offered that every night. It would be one way to offer guests an extra choice. I selected this hotel because previous reviews mentioned the delicious and varied food options. It would be beneficial if the dish labels were accurate, as it can be misleading for individuals who have dietary restrictions, such as avoiding pork. In such cases, I would typically ask the chef for clarification, but unfortunately, the language barrier made communication challenging. I advise to bring your own beach towels. This was a first for me staying in a 4 star hotel where you have to pay a deposit for a beach towel and if you want to change it for a clean one then there is a charge. This isn't a bad hotel, just needs a few little tweaks and it will be great.

Great location about 10-15 min stroll to promenade and beach. A little further for the beach bars and stalls. Hotel was clean and plenty of space for kids to splash and play. Food restaurant buffet was absolutely fine, nothing really posh but plenty to choose from and fresh. We never went hungry. All inclusive cocktails are a little on the downside. Rather sweet and watery with very little alcohol however if you ask no ice you can politely ask for a little more booze or getting an extra shot. Beer, sangria & wine on tap so dead easy there. Evening entertainment as expected in hotels but mostly enjoyable 😉 Would be good again? As a family yes, as solo adults probably not. But we would recommend 👌

lovely hotel, very friendly and attentive staff. tasty food with great selection for everyone. 10 minute taxi to the waterpark which is definitely worth a visit and just a short walk down to the beach. pool areas are great with splash pads and smaller pools for children. overall had a great stay and would love to return in the future.

The hotel room was lovely and was very clean Great facilities there are two pools and a splash area and park for children. In the evening there is entertainment and a mini disco so there is always something to do. The hotel is very near to the beach and shops

We loved that the hotel was by the beach and you can just walk straight out onto the sand. We found the all inclusive drinks list to be poor. If you paid for all inclusive you could only drink pre-mixed cocktails that were very weak basically fruit juices. But if you paid for all inclusive premium you could get the same cocktails but made fresh and stronger. You also had to pay extra if you wanted to drink a decent beer. We spent nearly €800 on beers and cocktails just to have a decent drink. The staff were friendly and smiley and the hotel was kept very clean. The hotel room walls were thin. Most mornings we were woken by the room next doors alarm or people talking outside. A friendly hotel in a nice location. But be prepared to spend more than expected even if you’re all inclusive.

We were celebrating a birthday whilst here and the staff and management decorated the door to our room and left a card and gift. Extremely thoughtful. The location to the beach is perfect. Last Day today. Absolutely lovely complex, spotless, always someone cleaning. Staff are very friendly and can have a bit of banter with.Don’t take any notice of the grumpy folks that give it low ratings!! Only thing is we were all inclusive, the drinks you get are okay, as much as you can get into you lol!! If you pay a bit more PP you get the premium drinks. Food is mostly the same but a lot of verity to have several different meals each night or there are a few places within walking distance to eat. Over all lovely place, we will be back at sometime

Rooms very clean and spacious, everything is provided for self catering ( they have a fab Aldi for self catering £5 taxi ride) Main pool is huge with a smaller pool also. Very clean, staff are great, very peaceful setting. Location is only thing I would mark down as there aren't any local bars in walking distance but taxi's are very reasonable £7 to where Maspalomas beach bars restaurants and shops.

Fantastic resort. The staff were amazing, and the food onsite was reasonable priced. The resort is ideally located for walking to local restaurants. You will be charged 10 euros for the TV remote that is refunded on your exit. However, the safe box in your room will attract a daily charge that is non refundable, which I think is daylight robbery. The bar around the pool is excellent and serves decent food: and the entertainment on the nights is finished by 2200, which is ideal. When you exit on your return home the room will have to be vacated by midday, but the resort offers a shower room and changing room that is available in 30 min slots, which you can book on the day you exit. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend .

We've just got back from a fantastic 7 night stay at Caybeach Princess. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, and we can't fault the service and facilities. The pool is massive with plenty of sunbeds and no overcrowding. There's also a smaller more relaxing pool at the top with a jacuzzi. The apartment was lovely modern and clean. We paid £7.50 every day for breakfast as we were self catering and it was well worth it. Great selection and lovely food. The free bus shuttle to the beach was very handy. The only thing that was a slight let down was the entertainment in the hotel on an evening. We couldn't find many bars or nightlife around except for on the last night where we found the Yumbo Centre a short taxi ride away with loads of bars and clubs. Wish we'd have found this sooner. Overall a lovely holiday thank you!

The hotel was lovely, and the staff was exceptionally helpful, always going above and beyond to assist with any needs. The surrounding area was peaceful and quiet, providing a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. However, there weren't many shops or restaurants in the immediate vicinity, which could be a drawback for some. Fortunately, the bus service runs late into the night, making it easy to travel to nearby areas like Faro de Maspalomas for dining or shopping options. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Good location, 15 min walk into the main strip/beach and 5 min walk from a supermarket. The pool was nice and not too busy (also not heated in late November). There’s a desk at reception that someone is usually there 24 hours so it’s pretty safe. The rooms are a little old but usually fine and spacious.

Our apartment was small but extremely clean and with all necessities. The swimming pool is impeccable, the bar and the reception's workers super nice and kind. In 5 mins walking you are on the beach. The only recommendation: bring earplugs if you are a lightsleeper as bars around play music until 12am. It was not a problem for us.

Toilet was too close the wall ! Toilet seat was old and grubby and did not fit correctly and would not stay up , sink was directly in front of the toilet, (absolutely ridiculous ) . Shower hook on wall was broken, so very difficult to shower. There was no plug in the bathroom sink, and the shelf had not been fitted correctly so everything kept on falling off, the shower had no shelf to put soap or shampoo on. In the kitchen there were very few utensils. nothing to drain pasta or rice, no vegetable knife, frying pan was old and worn out. The plug in the kitchen sink did not nave a chain on it so it was very difficult to pull it out ( I had to use a fork to pull it out !) Electric kept on "tripping out" about 3 times a day, so on the Thursday we reported it and it was fixed immediately. We were 2 people travelling together so we needed 2 keys , only one of the keys had entry system "swipe" on it so the second key was pretty useless , as you could not use it to enter the building, so I would have to buzz main reception ,then I had to explain to them I only had the spare key to the apartment, which caused lots of confusion. and to top it off the key lock to the apartment is old and worn and it was quite difficult just to open the door. With a little thought and not a lot of expense It could be made acceptable. The owners have not put a lot of thought into this, also the telephone number they give on Booking .com is not in existence , when they wouldn't answer our email messages, we thought it was a scam. The pool area is nice and most of the staff very friendly. but there was a grumpy old man there one day ( may be he was having a bad day) It was cheap and that's why we booked it, buy I don't think I would book it again.

Nice enough apartment for the week, big swimming pool for adults, and smaller one for children. Loads of free sun loungers around the pool, with a pool table set to one side. No double bed, unfortunately it's 2 singles. Also, no washing machine, freezer door is broken, and no remote for TV (can't even turn it on) 2 hobs for cooking, no oven, no microwave. coffee machine/kettle is available. Paid approx €260 for 2 people and 7 nights.
