I stayed at Vistaflor Bungalows expecting a slice of paradise—and there were some delightful treats right from the start. The bungalows themselves are a riot of colors, like a row of cheerful houses in a storybook, complete with a cute front porch, balcony, and a mini living room that screams “vacation vibes.” The communal areas are pretty swanky, boasting a pool, restaurant, mini market, and a 24-hour reception. There’s even a breakfast buffet with a chef ready to whip up your wildest pancake fantasies. With activities for both kids and adults (karaoke nights, anyone?), plus a short 6-minute drive to Maspalomas Beach and easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, and buses, it’s clear the resort is tailor-made for families.
Then there was the indoors—a plot twist that left me scratching my head. The kitchen was so sparsely stocked I had to resort to using a mixing bowl for my cereal (yes, really!). Dirty plates and cutlery meant a quick wash before every meal, and the cooker took an excruciating hour just to boil water. When the mechanic finally arrived the next day, his diagnosis was as baffling as it was unhelpful (“Maybe twist it harder?” he suggested). The fridge practically hosted its own indoor pool, and promises of a replacement evaporated into thin air. The interiors felt stuck in a time warp with outdated decor, early-morning visits from staff (8 AM is hardly vacation time!), and even a bathroom that sported a less-than-pleasant aroma. To top it off, the bungalows are arranged so closely that privacy is virtually non-existent—you end up on a scenic stroll past your neighbors’ windows (and their entire lives, if the curtains are up). And if you’re lucky enough to be near the pool, expect a constant parade of guests right on your doorstep. Parking? Think of it as an extreme sport: limited spaces, competitive drivers, and some folks even daringly mounting the curb (at the risk of a hefty fine).
All in all, while the outside of Vistaflor charms with its amenities and family-friendly location, the interior leaves much to be desired. I’d give it 2 stars—great for those who can overlook a few (or many) indoor mishaps in exchange for a vibrant, community-driven atmosphere, but not the best bet for a stress-free, modern holiday retreat.

Clean and spacious bungalows. The bungalows have everything you need for a nice and short stay. You can use the kitchen to cook and there’s even a small microwave. Some bungalows even have a washing machine. We did notice that the walls are quite thin, so if you’re not lucky with who is staying next or behind your bungalow, you will definitely hear them.
We had the breakfast included and were very happy with the buffet. There’s a cook doing the eggs and pancakes, so those are fresh. There’s a large variety of fruit, desserts and cakes, combined with both hot and cold food. We also bought the dinner buffet one evening and again were not disappointed, especially for that price (16 euros p.p.).
There’s also some entertainment if you have kids.
Of course there are always people who reserve the beds near the pool. It’s not allowed and Vistaflor put signs about this everywhere (including a letter in the bungalow) , but certain people just ignore this. But I think it’s better compared to other hotels we visited.

Lovely hotel complex. The brightly coloured bungalows and pool area are beautiful and very clean. Bungalows are basic, but it has everything you need and are kept very clean. The only fault I have is the shower, it's a fine art to get it to the right setting, this could be fixed/updated.
The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is great, with loads of options. There's not an awful lot around the hotel but there's a bus stop and a taxi rank outside, you can get to masapalomas beach or playa del Inglés for €6 in a taxi. It's very handy having the supermarket on site, it has everything and us very reasonable.

We stayed at Vistaflor Bungalows as a vase to explore all that Maspalomas has to offer. We found it is a very well run place with generous accommodation. The standing is on the basic side but functional and staff were extremely friendly. For us it did what we wanted. We had a B&B poolside bungalow and found enough decent food to have a good breakfast each day. I would not recommend the restaurant however and you have to be prepared to walk or use the shuttle to the beach or buses otherwise you'll spend a fortune in taxis (around €5 a ride. We adveraged 22500 steps a day!!!

Value for money.
Food was good.
Rooms were adequate.
Not good for people with walking difficulties due to its position at the bottom of an hill.
All the staff were very friendly especially Ayoze the lifeguard. He was brilliant with everyone.
Would revisit this place in the future.
