Our family of four (two adults and two early teens) thoroughly enjoyed our week at H10 Atlantic Sunset. The hotel is spotless, and our room was clean, well-equipped, and spacious. We opted for a swim-up room, which was a definite highlight—the sun hit our balcony from 9 AM to 4 PM, making it perfect for relaxing.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, which was great to see. The food was of a good standard, with a varied buffet each day and a selection of à la carte restaurants to mix things up. The hotel is in a quieter part of the island, with local restaurants and a supermarket just five minutes away for convenience. There’s also a lovely coastal path, ideal for evening strolls.
The hotel has 3 main pools, it was no issue to get a lounger and you can be with the younger families, or have some peace and quiet around the infinity pool.
For families with younger children (under 10), the hotel is very well-organized and an excellent choice. However, the evening entertainment was a bit underwhelming—of amateur standard with limited seating—and there were no dedicated activities for teens, which was a drawback for us. For this I am giving the over all review 4 stars instead of 5.
I would return to this hotel, but only if our teens were traveling with friends.

This hotel is excellent! We were very pleased with the food, the staff, their reaction to special requests like gluten free alternatives, the decoration, the activities for kids, the pools and slides. Location has great views and some beaches in a few minutes of walk. In close walking distance there is not much else to do, but there is a bus stop nearby and plenty of indoor parking for your car, and then great options for shopping and entertainement at 5-10 minutes by car. We would definitely return there!

We had a fantastic stay at H10 Atlantic Tenerife in January for a week. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredible — so welcoming and attentive, making sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. We went all-inclusive, and the food was top-notch. With access to three different restaurants, there was always something new to try, and the variety never left us feeling bored. Plus, the drinks options were plentiful, and it was a nice touch to have our minibar regularly stocked.
Our family room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped. The access to the balcony and the pools was a great bonus. The hotel itself was immaculate, and you could tell everything was well-maintained and run smoothly. A highlight was the free photographer service — we had a fantastic photo session with Jonas and his team, and the photos were beautiful.
The underground parking was secure and convenient, and the hotel’s location was ideal. It was easy to get to from the airport, and we were able to take plenty of walks with our pram, with lots of family-friendly areas nearby for exploring.
The gym and wellness spa were also excellent, and we enjoyed some wonderful massages during our stay. Overall, we would highly recommend H10 Atlantic Tenerife to any family looking for a relaxing, well-managed resort. We’ll definitely be booking again for our next trip!

Do NOT book this hotel!
We checked into this hotel’s family suite yesterday, full of excitement for our holiday. However, on the very first morning, my daughter was playing in the hotel's children's pool when she came down the slide and suddenly walked toward me with a blood-covered hand—her hand had been cut by the slide, leaving a 3 cm wound! I was absolutely shocked, heartbroken, and furious. This was supposed to be a wonderful vacation, but it turned into a nightmare from day one.
The lifeguard helped bandage her wound, and when I asked for two extra plasters as a backup, he took his time picking through them and handed me two tiny round plasters, each only 1 cm in diameter—completely inadequate to cover her wound! I was speechless. This was beyond irresponsible!
We then approached customer service, but the staff kept downplaying the incident, repeatedly insisting that it was just an "accident," like kids falling in a park. But excuse me—this is a supposedly prestigious five-star hotel, charging premium rates. How can it be compared to a public park? I paid over €500 per night for this hotel, yet the level of safety doesn’t even match that of a free playground?
What’s even more infuriating is that my daughter was simply using the slide normally, and she got injured! Are they suggesting that children shouldn’t touch the slide? It’s obvious that their facilities have safety issues! However, the customer service team refused to acknowledge any fault, insisted that their equipment was "perfectly fine," and dismissed our concerns. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were told she was "not available."
When my daughter slid down the slide, her hand started bleeding. We went to the hotel hoping to be treated fairly, which naturally included covering the hospital bill. Instead, the hotel claimed that we were demanding compensation. We don’t have any health insurance in Spain, so shouldn’t the hotel pay for the medical fees incurred from their slide? Instead, it turned into extortion—utterly shameless!
By the afternoon, the hotel sent my daughter a bag of candy. Seriously? I felt like I was staring at that same tiny, useless round plaster again—such an insult! We still have six more nights at this hotel. We originally booked this place so the kids could enjoy the sunshine and the children’s pool, but now I wouldn’t dare let them go near that hazardous area again. We spent almost €4,000 on this trip, expecting a perfect holiday, and instead, it has turned into a complete disappointment. Absolutely unacceptable!

Excellent breakfast and dinner in a good restaurant with a rich selection, which is the "least impressive" of the restaurants the hotel offers. The room is very good, with a nice bathroom and walk-in shower, and a large balcony from which you can watch the sunset. We didn't even turn on the TV, but we commend the two USB sockets on each side of the bed, which allowed all our electronic devices to be fully charged for a new day of adventures. Although it's above the road, traffic isn't heavy, so the room isn't noisy. The neighboring Hard Rock hotel produces more noise, but it's tolerable and doesn't disturb sleep.
The hotel also has a garage from which you can easily access the rooms, so we didn't even see the reception except on the first and last day.
The pools are excellent, heated and with salt water, making swimming quite pleasant even in February.
We believe we'll return again, as well as visit other H10 hotels around the world.
Disliked · We booked a king-size bed but received two regular beds placed side by side. We had two mattresses, two sheets, and two duvets, which were arranged very narrowly each morning, so we had to struggle to pull out the bedding and get into bed. After that, a "gap" usually formed between the two beds, which easily moved apart from each other. It definitely wasn't the king-size bed experience we expected, but if that's the only thing we can fault them for, then you know how good our stay was.
