The staff can't do enough for you, they work so hard and always with a smile. Spotlessly clean. Rooms are adequate but a little dated, typical Spanish electrics. Can't hide the fact that it's looking a bit tired. The food started off great but is there a different chef on the weekend as it became inedible. All in all, would I go back, probably not, but not for any lack of effort from the staff, the bosses need to invest some money into renovating the facilities, even then. It's a bit of a hike to the main square if you're retired, like us, otherwise a taxi is only five minutes out or you're a bit younger. However, for what we paid, it was tremendous value for money.!

We stayed here on a 4 day trip, 2 adults, Thursday - Monday We arrived a bit later than expected due to a flight delay. On arrival the reception staff were helpful and efficient. The young lady on the desk checked us in, gave us our wrist bands and our room key and showed us a map to our room. She explained meal times and the fact that we needed a euro deposit for a plastic cup. We walked to our room which was up on the third floor. We opened the door and it was hot and a bit stuffy but it had been a hot day so we just opened the sliding door to the balcony and the windows.. and looked for the air con - which there isn't - and panic set in a bit because it was really really hot.. however with the bedroom windows wide open there was a lovely breeze throughout.. however every now and then there is a bit of a whiff of sewer.. but it goes as quickly as it comes and isn't a huge deal We went to the bar and got a drink and then decided to call it a night as we had a long day travelling. Breakfast on Friday morning was not great at all. We were down for breakfast as soon as it opened and most of the food was cold. We quickly discovered that as the food was cycled what was coming out was hot.. so first piece of advice.. don't go for your meal as soon as it opens as the food won't be hot. The sunbeds are locked until 10 - however they are unlocked about 9.45 or so.. but in lieu of sunbeds being reserved the chairs from the pool bar are moved into the spots people want and then exchanged for sunbeds when they're unlocked. We were a bit late to the party on the Friday morning but there was loads of space for us to put a couple beds - this may not be the case during peak season but given we are just out of season it wasn't a problem. Lunch on Friday was the best meal we have had so far... however the lamb chops that were freshly cooked on Friday lunch time have since featured Friday evening at dinner in a sauce, and then they appeared AGAIN Saturday lunch time looking worse for wear again in a different sauce.. the same thing with the pork ribs that were first featured Friday lunch and again Friday dinner and Saturday lunch - all in different forms.. other guests had complained to reception about the quality of the food and were told that there are restaurants a short walk from the hotel if they didn't like the food. The evening entertainment is twice a week on Sunday and Thursday - again this may be because we are just out of season but on the evenings in between there is bingo, but this is paid at €5 each. Breakfast is hit or miss.. sausages that are a little too pink inside for our liking and pancakes on one day.. The pool bar looks nothing like pictures that appear on the booking sites.. they serve a couple cocktails but there is nothing saying about them, we had to ask.. the snacks are rolls made from the ones that were out for breakfast and a few pastries, also from breakfast - and once they're gone they're gone. The other pictures that the hotel provide to the booking sites are also questionable.. and a bit dated. The seats by the pool bar are not those shown, the booking site also shows a sauna and hot tub.. they're not here.. another booking site also showed a squash court.. which isn't here. The garden part of the hotels name is not quite as good looking as the pictures show. And while we appreciate that hotels have to upsell themselves, some of the pictures being used are just misleading. We managed to get this hotel free using rewards from a booking site - however if I had paid for the hotel I would be really upset.. it was just a weekend away for my wife and I but there is nothing for children here.. Sorry to say we won't be returning.

We've had a fabulous time at this location. Amazing friendly staff and entertainment, all are very friendly, polite and helpful. Thank you all for their hard work for us to have an enjoyable and vacation and a great time. We don't remember all the names unfortunately but Raul the bartender and Dumi the entertainer have so much energy and are so funny. Per total was a great a stay, totally recommend this location 👌 👏 👍

If you're looking for a peaceful holiday with good food, then this hotel is not for you. We went all-inclusive and found that the food selection was the worst and of low quality. The bar staff were very rude and even messed up basic menu orders. After 9 hours of travel, we arrived at the hotel at 11 at night due to delays, we were thirsty but were shouted at by the bar staff when we asked for water, being told that we had to pay extra for it as the all-inclusive ended at 11. The breakfast meals were simple and acceptable but not the best, and we heard many other visitors also complaining about the food while we ate. The food options were so bad that I'm glad my kids weren't with me, as they would have starved at lunch and evening meals. On our last day, the food options were so bad that we left the hotel and went to the Indian restaurant at the end of the street, where we had an amazing meal there and we found that we were not the first from the hotel to have the same idea. Others from our hotel were there and were also talking about the bad food choices at the hotel. As for the room, the television channels in English were all blanked out, so only Spanish channels were available, providing no entertainment in the room. The walls are paper-thin, so you can hear everyone next to you, above and below, with every movement, door bangs, and kids running around. The beds were so hard that they felt like the floor might have been more comfortable (wish I had tried this now), giving us a holiday of bad sleep, bad food, and rude staff. I will never return to this hotel and advise others to avoid it like the plague.

Absolutely impeccable service and worth every penny. ;€3 taxi ride to the centre as I'm not great at walking. The hotel always save our room for us and are so attentive to our needs. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food is different every day and cooked well. We love this hotel and in January 2025 will be our 5th visit we will not go anywhere else.

I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here it is very dated and poorly maintained, with no English TV channels and no air conditioning. The rooms at night are very hot. The only bonus is the outdoor space attached to your room with table and chairs and sunbeds. Other than that, a big no from us it is dirty and everything is either old or broken

Firstly this review is based on the fact that this was a very cheap deal from the u.k. and the value has been taken into consideration. Our transfer arrived around 10p.m. and reception was open until midnight most days. The gentleman at reception was welcoming and helpful anytime we needed information. The layout of the complex is ideal for families and people with mobility issues due to the flat area and open pool areas. The bungalows are very spacious and easily could suit 3 people. Our beds were singles but of a type that made a double easily when pushed together. There was a large wardrobe in the bedroom too, so far so good. The bathroom was spacious and had an over bath shower. Although nice and clean it was very worn with rust on the tubs in areas where you could rub against it and possibly cut yourself. The window was held on by secondary hinges (which worked fine) but the originals were left on to rust as well. The water pressure was good and temperature easily adjusted. The kitchenette worked perfectly with a 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster and microwave which were all clean and worked perfectly. The cupboard units were in fairly poor shape but some simple adjustments would tidy up the old units easily. The other furnishings were dated but perfectly suitable and safe. The TV had lots of channels and if you know what you're doing a few can be converted to English sound. We used the radio stations mostly. Our balcony, like all the rest was a highlight with a table and chairs and 2 adjustable sun loungers. There was also plenty space for it all without getting crowded at all. There is a small walled area at the back of each bungalow with washing lines. An added bonus. There were NO cockroaches at all in may. If you leave any food or spilled drinks on the floor then you will attract ants though so just keep it clean. There are some semi-ferral cats that keep pests away and the grey tabby is very approachable! I used the pools every day. They are not heated but not too cold. The pool guys are out every morning but you have to allow for some leaves etc getting blown in due to the location. The outer ring could do with a deep clean purely for aesthetics but I found the pools perfectly safe. The area around the pools has ample sun loungers, a shaded area near the lifeguard, table tennis and a pool table. It's not perfect but suited us as a couple who travel regularly with a mobility scooter. Keep your expectations reasonable and if you have a serious issue inform reception. We would book again due to the budget, location, peacefulness and accessibility. We would like to see the bathrooms properly maintained or renovated though. Locally there is a Bar next door that shows sports and provides German themed snacks, a couple of convenience stores, popular bars and restaurants, kebab takeaway, a large Spar, Car hire. All within 5 minutes walk. The beach is just 200metres down a slope from reception. You can use the promenade to walk all the way to the lighthouse on the right or the Marina on the left. Great location.

Nice bungalow with good facilities within it. Very clean with obvious cleaning team throughout the day. Nice location close to beach and walking distance to restaurants and bars. Good service and very helpful.

This place was an absolute Kip, stayed in an apartment with my partner , it’s ok if your just sleeping there not inside all day, no ac infested with ants, had to trow away clothes beacuse a ants would eat holes in them all left inside, rent a fan for 20 euro which doesn’t even work, the staff was extremely rude, didn’t even welcome us or ask did we have a nice stay or anything just took the keys and that was it, mainly a women and a man there both very rude and it’s Not the language barrier there just auwful, enjoyed my holiday overall but extremely disappointed in the hotel, cheap hotel handy for couples like myself but it’s not for the weak

The apartments are rubbish. Don't bother staying there, well over priced for what it is. The pictures do not reflect the actual apartments either. There is no shop on site and the bar is not what appears on the photos. We paid for 2 adults and an 11yr old. When arrived we was told to pay another 25euros a night as an 11yr old actually counts as an adult. We received no extra bed and in the end I had to buy a camp bed for my daughter to sleep on. Very very disappointing place and will never promote a stay here or be staying here again.

Good size rooms , 2 pools to choose from and a pool bar open all day . A free bus at 11 and a pick up at 4 for the main beach. Great place to stay although be prepared to walk 25+ minutes to the centre outside of the bus times, but cabs are available from around 4 euros .

The apartment itself was quite nice and roomy. Decor abit outdated but will suffice. Beds were quite firm and not comfortable at all. The view we had was very nice overlooking the ocean. A 20-30 walk required into town centre/seafront but this means its relatively quiet around the area which we liked. Overall was nice and friendly service but the on site restaurant isnt the best and no convenience store at the complex. There seemeed to be a domestic issue with screams and bangs at 2am+ after the euro final which was a little unsettling. In summary I would recommend but would not necessarily come back.

BOOK ANY OTHER HOTEL!! Really pathetic place, the staff was absolutely unbothered by our demands about non existing WiFi, we had to told him what to do (call the technician, he didn't think in that) and he even followed us to the room to make sure. There is not even soap or shampoo. You have to pay for clean towels. (3-4€) There is no security, any, just the reception staff looking outside and that's it. No elevator 3 floors every time we had to do anything. The freezer didn't work. The sofas were dirty, the room was empty. Furniture of the 18th century Book any other Hotel please, you'll thank us.

Overall, good hotel for self catering - pool bar offers wide range of food and decently priced breakfast. Not too many selections for bars around the area - could only find 2 within 15 minute vicinity as do not want a far walk at god knows what hour🤣.

This was our third visit to these apartments. A very small, adult only complex comprising of about 24 apartments. They are very basic studio apartments, an open plan kitchen/bedroom with a bathroom. Nearly all the apartments have either a terrace or balcony over looking the small unheated pool. There are about 12 sun loungers situated around the pool and my only complaint was the early morning sunbed baggers, who would put towels out, then go out for a good few hours preventing other people from using them. We stayed for three weeks and saw a big turnover of guests and they all seemed to want to do it. The apartments themselves are dated with very basic cooking equipment and utensils. A 2 ring hob and a microwave. 3 forks, 3 knives and 3 spoons. 3 cups, plates and 2 bowls. You can ask for more apparently but we managed. The apartments are serviced with a basic clean and towel change once a week and a more thorough clean, bedding and towel change once a week. It’s clean and the beds are very comfy and very quiet at night. We don’t need much moreVery close to the strip, within walking distance of lovely restaurants, bars and the beach, just in case you don’t get up early enough to bag a sunbed. The staff are lovely and assist as much as they can. It ticks all the boxes for us despite being basic. We will definitely return.

I recommend Las Lilas 100%. Intimate, quiet and peaceful. Great owner and nice service. Closest shop across the street another 5 minute walk. Beach, restaurants and bus stop 3 minutes away. Rooms clean and properly equipped. A small disadvantage is the lack of a jug. I highly recommend Las Lilas, the proof is that I returned there after 4 months for another vacation. Best regards and see you in May ☺️

Lovely apartments, we had app 114 which has mobility scooter accessibility. Pool is rather cold as it doesnt get much sun but is very refreshing! Good size, very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back in the not to distant future. If i was being picky i would say that some areas could do with a little more cleaning but it was more than good. It was my birthday while we were here and i was given a lovely bottle of freixenet as a surprise, which i thought was very sweet of them.

Great buffet food. Always good quality but would have preferred more of a variety between the lunch and dinner time foods avaliable. Always polite kitchen and cleaning staff. Great ocean view from balcony. Unfortunately I found the bed mattresses extremely hard to the point it was difficult to get to sleep some nights and would wake up in the morning with aches from it.

This was a bit of a budget holiday and I didn’t expect too much, however, upon arrival I knew this was going to be a difficult hotel to enjoy. I booked all inclusive, which for this hotel is used in the loosest term possible, snacks are not included, most drinks are not included and if you wish to use WiFi or any other service, they’re only available as a paid extra. The swimming pool is extremely unclean, most of the tiles from the sides and its floor are missing and the “lifeguard” is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard, if he isn’t snoozing he is telling children off for using inflatable pool toys… in the pool! This rule baffled me as there is no particular reason but they are apparently banned and may only be used in the baby pool, absolutely ridiculous. The flooring around the pool is a disgrace, it is uneven and is just made up of grit, which just ends up in the pool, adding to the uncleanliness. The rooms are extremely outdated, the light fittings did not work, the balcony had cracks in, as did the exterior wall. I have never “slept” in such an uncomfortable bed, the mattress may as well have been formed out of bricks and razor wire! The food on the first 2 days was reasonable, however the quality quickly went downhill, most of what was served was inedible and it was a bit of a guessing game as to what meat was being served as it wasn’t labelled and tasted of pure shoe leather. The pool bar/hotel just lacks in any sort of atmosphere, the bar will happily play the same 10 songs on repeat through muffled speakers all day long - we were even treated to the odd Christmas song! A lot of the staff came across as rude and it was clear they certainly didn’t want to be there nor did they wish to help. I’m all for getting what you pay for and if you buy cheap you get cheap, but I feel that the very basics here are just not being met which is an awful shame, you can securely see this used to be a great budget hotel, it just needs a renovation… a big one! Proceed with caution if booking this hotel, my advice would be to look elsewhere.

Honest review of this hotel after reading many mixed reviews. Location is fabulous right in the old town, about 15 min walk to promenade, there are steps (quite a lot) to get to hotel or there is an incline walk for those able. We are couple late 20s/early 30s and this did not bother us. The hotel itself, we found it very clean, pool was cleaned most if not every morning, it is very cold. As we went mid October we had loads of loungers and parasols so this wasn't an issue for us and pool bar is also ok for drinks and snacks. Breakfast is very good value, we stayed self catering and enquired about breakfast on arrival for the 2 of us for the week was €44! Couldn't believe it and good selection of hot, cold, fruits, yogurts etc. so definitely recommend this. The rooms, yes dated, beds not the best, we found 3 cockroaches throughout our stay in the bathroom. The biggest thing for us was the lack of air con, the fans in the room were just awful. I genuinely don't know how people survive this in the summer months. So a few nights no sleep for us with the heat as it was unbearable. The shower was very powerful and loads of hot water. Nice chairs and table in the small balcony. Would I stay again? No - Only on the pretense of air con. The hotel is generally good and if you're not expecting much from a 3* hotel and you don't mind sweating at night 🤣 then go for it!

I don't know where to start. The hotel is not bad, it is old, but it does need remodeling, but what I like most apart from the location is the staff. They are all incredible, starting with the receptionists Fer and Jonathan, always attentive to everything we needed. The food is not bad, although it is true that there could be more variety, especially in the desserts, because every night it was the same, but I am not complaining. Now, the waiters are all incredible, highlighting Natalia, Angel and Juver, very kind and familiar. And finally, Jonathan, the animation guy, a lovely person, I loved the way he addressed the children, always cheerful and attentive. I am not giving the hotel 5 stars because it is true that it has aspects to improve in terms of the building, but for the rest, incredible.

Great location for old town and only around 10 minute walk to the strip. You can walk down to old Town in 2 minutes. Loads of food /bars to choose from. Apartments were basic, no AC, fans were installed. Room was clean enough and the staff did a great job of cleaning. The place is showing it's age a bit, but it is ok for the price. Pool was good, some wear and team and a queue for the loungers. We were in the third tier, so had to climb around 65 steps from the road to get back. I got fitter! but it might not suit anyone who can't climb. Would recommend a terrace not balcony if you can get it, even though people can walk past, during the day you get the shade of the balcony above you.

Fabulous quiet complex with friendly staff and a nice pool!! I sent a few emails before our stay which were replied to so quickly. The minute we got to the place to check in we were greeted with a nice staff member. Room was spacious, very clean and basic but ideal. Beds were very comfortable and a fan provided which was great. The complex is gated and it closes early so you need a code to get in which felt very safe. Lovely quiet area and walking distance to both towns. Great place!!

It was a very good staying in VistaMar Apartments. Staff in the restaurante are amazing and super friendly, as well in the reception. The food is also very good. The Room View is the best that you can have, however the rooms are a little dated. Only bad side is the Breakfast is a bit late (from 10am) which make us waiting until late to go out an discover the island. Thank you

Excellent, the apartments all face the sea, they are clean, you get fresh towels every two days and clean sheets every week. They are really quick to respond to any problems. Really quiet, small and friendly. We love it and will definitely go back again ♥️

Nice hotel for our week stay, we'll equipped apartments, wifi was OK bit of a pain you can only have 3 devices connected and having to keep signing in. The Tv was OK with a few english channels, not a smart tv. The shower had good pressure, nice and hot. The beds were too soft for us. The cleaning was super, cleaning called daily to check or ask if we required anything. Our room had a great sea view and was on 2nd floor by stairs only. Which wasn't an issue for us. Great location 5 minutes from shops bars and restaurants. 10 minutes from airport Which is €20 ish in taxi.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. It’s really easy to book a taxi as you just ask at reception and it comes within minutes. The pool is lovely and deep as well as quite cold which is perfect for the heat. Food was edible but nothing spectacular. Our room was not the room shown in the photos and were were at the back of the hotel on the ground floor, we expected an apartment but were given a bedroom/bathroom. We had several cockroaches enter our room which is to be expected for ground floor however our room absolutely stank when we arrived and didn’t stop smelling until it was cleaned again after two days and quickly returned later that evening, we think it may have been the drains. The pool and pool area was lovely but definitely not enough sun bed for everyone and no umbrellas. There is no aircon and we had to pay €20 euro to use the safe plus a €10 deposit. The location is very hilly and about a 20 minute walk away from the nearest beach. All in all we had a lovely time and could not fault the staff at all but the bedroom did let it down in the end, however we would consider staying here again purely because the pool area and staff were lovely and for the price it’s definitely worth a visit. Alex and Jesus were very welcoming and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage and have somewhere to stay even after check out whilst waiting for transfers with the offer of continuing the all inclusive for 10€.

I’d never gone alone on holiday before. Staying here was so much fun. The staff were - all AMAZING. So helpful and friendly. The room was perfect. The food was Amazing. Really enjoyed the variety of options everyday. Can’t fault it. Would stay again.

Nice hotel. 3 star rated so what you should expect. Nice pool, rooms are basic (no Aircon) and could do with a revamp. Disabled facilities are non existent, and children aren't catered for either. Staff are helpful and friendly. Food is your usual all-inclusive affair.

Staff were fab! Enjoyed sat by the pool. All inclusive was basic but there was always something to eat. Met some lovely fellow holiday makers. Only problem was the room being too hot and the fan not doing anything so we couldn’t sleep, although that might not be for all rooms.

Just spent 10 days in this hotel. After a little blip at the start were our room wasnt ready and we got sent to a different hotel I found this hotel to be good. Nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews say. Food was edible lots of choices to pick from we had a fussy eater with us and she always found something to eat. Pool was clean. All staff friendly and welcoming. Rooms cleaned every two days. It is a little out of the way and up and down a few hills however its a nice walk to and from the strip if you're able. Only downside was the beds but to be honest I'm yet to find a comfortable hotel bed. I'd go to this hotel again and would recommend it. Cheap and Cheerful.

Recently back from a 4 night stay here, and absolutely loved it! Spacious self catering rooms, quiet complex, and friendly staff! We had a view of the pool from our room on the upper level. Would definitely stay here again, central location just a short 10 minute walk down to the strip with restaurants and bars.

Very good value self catering accomodation at the top of the hill. Gym on site with changing facilities you can use on check out day. Swimming pool is deep, and quite cold, but it's refreshing when the days are hot. Kids pool also available. Great staff, very friendly and full of advice.

Just got back from 2 weeks here this morning. A great base when staying in Puerto del Carmen. Close enough to be within walking distance of the beach, bars & restaurants but far enough away for decent sleep. The rooms have recently been renovated & they & the pools are kept clean. The on site staff were all very friendly & helpful, especially Javier on reception.

Place was clean and well maintained. Pool areas kept spotless. Only downside was the sunbeds by 9am all had towels on and often not used till later in the day. We went to the beach most days as we prefer it. Might be a challenge if you want the pool though. Staff friendly and the rooms are well appointed with everything you could need. Bedrooms come with efficient air conditioning. Onsite supermarket great for basics but not a huge choice. Overall nice place to stay.

We recently came back from spending 7 days at this hotel and it was genuinely lovely, I would definitely return in the future. Reception was lovely and welcoming and was very modern and the staff on the desk were always pleasant and helpful. Rooms were very clean and modern and exactly what you’d want. Towels and beds were made every 2 days and all staff were pleasant. Sunbeds were a bit of a game with people leaving towels all day but could be easily reserved if you’re waiting at 5 to 9. Onsite supermarket is really good price wise and extremely useful with a wide range of products. Really happy with my experience at this hotel and would recommend highly.

Lovely Budget Apartments We stayed at Apartamentos Livvo Oasis from Wednesday 5th June - Wednesday 12th June. We stayed as a family of 3; myself, my partner and our 1 year old daughter. Initially, it was just me and my partner due to come, but we added our 1 year old to the booking later on. The staff were happy to accommodate her, free of charge with a cot in our room on arrival. We arrived with no air con, and my partner enquired about this at reception. Unfortunately, silly me didn't choose the superior room. So if you're like me, and are not very good at reading, there are two options of rooms: • Standard Apartment - no air conditioning • Superior Apartment - with air conditioning. Although we had no air conditioning, we rented a fan for €20 euros, and this was fine for our stay in June. It was roughly 26-28C during the holiday. The apartment was well equipped, especially the kitchen; cutlery, plates, cups, pans, toaster, coffee machine, fridge-freezer & kettle. You can rent a microwave, an iron and ironing board. The room and the entire hotel is equipped with Wi-Fi. You can choose the free option which is up to 1Mbs or a Premium Wi-Fi of €1 per day. This is higher speeds than the free WiFi. I had no issue with the free Wi-Fi. The cleaners come and clean your room five times a week. They do not clean on Monday's or Friday's. Bedding is changed once a week and towels twice a week. The cleaners are very friendly, and they do a geeat job; the apartment was spotlessly clean. Our first night, my partner and I only had one pillow each, which wasn't enough for us, and we had a bit of back ache in the morning. We requested an extra pillow each, which was provided free of charge. The bed is two singles pushed together to make a super king bed. The bed is firm but comfy. The hotel and bedroom is relatively quiet. We only had issues with the apartment above us. They kept coming back at roughly 1-2am and they were banging furniture around and slamming doors. It did wake us up but this is not the hotels fault. With the hotel having 55 apartments, it is a relatively quiet place overall. This is perfect for us, as we do not like overcrowded, busy hotels. I have seen reviews about the pool being overcrowded and there is a fight for sun beds, but we didn't have this problem at all during our stay. We turned up to the pool midday on several ocassions. We did, however, visit in an off peak time. Although the hotel does cater for young children, we do feel like this hotel is more suited to groups of friends and couples aged anywhere between 20-60. We only saw a couple of other children at the hotel during our stay, and the main atmosphere was couples and friends here to have a few drinks, have a good time and soak up some sun. The saltwater pool area is deep, and shallow area was nice enough for our toddler, but it wasn't shallow enough for her to stand, or for me to swim comfortable with her. This is not a complaint of ours, as we initially booked as a couple, but more of a recommendation for prospective holiday makers. The pool bar serves drinks and food. My partner disliked the full English, but the pizza was nice enough. We didn't each much at the pool bar, as we mainly prepared food in our kitchenette. The drinks at the bar were nice and refreshing. The only big gripe we had and hence we have knocked it down a star, was the pool was freezing cold, and it was a struggle to be in the pool. I would have loved to take our daughter in the pool more, but she made it clear that she was cold everytime we took her in. There were quite a few complaints by other holiday makers too, and the pool wasn't used much for this reason. I could understand during colder months, but as we were staying in June with days hitting almost 30C, I think the pool needed to be warmer. We spent a couple of days down on the beach, and we found the sea was warmer than the pool.. Overall, I would say these are great budget apartments to stay at. We enjoyed our first holiday abroad as a family.

The reception staff was very nice and helpful the rooms were well maintained and clean as was the hotel grounds. We would definitely stay here again.

Airport bus drops off at Casino e1.40 each for a single and picks up at stop 5 mins behind hotel for return trip. No need to take taxi!!

This is a great location. It’s close to the main central strip and beach. The grounds here are immaculately kept and the pool is very good - deep around though so flotation devices for kids is a good idea. Having said that the pool area and pool are quiet. The apartment we had was nice if a little tired. It was hot when we were there in August and 3 people so needed an extra fan staff were so helpful and got one straight away. Mosquitoes are an issue if you leave windows open at night for me - rest of family weren’t to bad. Would highly recommend

We stayed here for 8 nights and loved it! The apartment was clean and they cleaned the pool every morning! It also wasn’t too crowded. If you are a 5star all inclusive person this might not be your cup of tea but I think it’s a lovely little accommodation, close to Spar and the beach on a little hill🌊🐚 they also had everything in the kitchen so cooking is easy. Check in and check out was very easy

Great location Rooms are cute and well catered for even had a coffee machine! The pool and outside area is beautiful the staff are wonderful. A few minutes walk from the beach and main shops. The entrance is gated so secure and its lovely and quiet.

First time here, arrived late. They had some bags of food for us. ( nice touch). Rooms great, had 2 studios loads of space, tea and coffee, flat screen TV. Hotel is 5- 10 min walk from everything, ignore "heart attack" hill, says more about the bone idle. Been impressed with this place. Food is very good.

Brilliant hotel staff are very helpful and do what the can for you while you are staying there. Brilliant facilities. We upgraded to a 2 room apartment and the apartment was massive and well worth the extra money. I cant comment on the food as we didn't eat in the hotel. The location isn't the best right at the top of a BIG hill and about a 10-15 minute walk to the main strip if you want to walk if you don't there is a taxi rank right outside the main doors with them coming quit regularly and only costing around €3 to the strip . There are also a few bar and restaurants on the BIG hill near the hotel and also a supermarket right near the hotel with everything you could need. I will definitely recommend this hotel and would go back again.

Spent an expensive night here this week after my 'not so easy jet' airline cancelled our flight at the last minute and insisted we must book a 3 star hotel. No working air con in either room and no other rooms available. When I reported that the air-con was not working I got a sympathetic shrug from the nice girl on the reception and advised to open the windows and doors. To be fair, the next morning when checking out there was workmen including an air-conditioning engineer running about the place so looks like the air con issue was more widespread then just our rooms so I wish they had advertised that to us that they had issues. So hopefully for the next poor souls to go there may be not so hot in the rooms. The rooms are tired and basic but the beds comfortable. Overall not very clean with someone else's hair and litter still on the floor in our room. I would not stay again and had I known about the air con issue would not have gone there at all. Did not eat there so cannot judge that and the late night entertainment went on till about 1am was overly loud and an out of tune poor quality singer which is fine if you like low ball cabaret but not for us. For the price we paid (£150 plus per night per room), not worth it even as a same day booking. I am sure it is much cheaper as a package holiday. It probably is a 3 star hotel as seems to have the appropriate functions but that does not always mean nice environment.

I arrived early, so my room wasn't ready, so I was allowed to change and shower and store my suitcase there free of charge in a locked room . I was allowed to use all the amenities whilst waiting . The restaurant food looks amazing . hotel was spotless . The service staff were never too busy to help with anything . There is a supermarket in the hotel and various different shops and salons so all things are catered for . A gym that is fully equipped and a lovely pool . This is one place I will definitely visit again .

Great size apartments. Excellent view from apartment. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Pool was not very clean on the bottom and never saw anyone monitoring water quality hence not used. May benefit from a little background music around pool area but this is my preference. Cleaning could have been better. We had an issue with cockroaches in our kitchen area however reported twice and both times received prompt response and action.

We had a fantastic week at El Guarapo. The location is fantastic, a quiet street, but 5 minutes walk from shops, a great bakery, restaurants and a brilliant beach. The apartments are well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The pool area and gardens are also kept beautifully. Staff are lovely and very helpful. We had an evening flight and took advantage of a late check out which is very reasonably priced. There is also an area with showers and luggage lockers for bags and cases which can be used for this purpose, again really well thought out and very useful. The place has a very calm relaxed feel to it, even though they were fully booked it didn't feel busy and there was none of this queueing for sunbeds nonsense I've seen elsewhere. If travelling Jet2, the road is too small for the transfer bus, so they drop off about a 4 minute walk away on the main road but please don't let that put you off as El Guarapo is a fantastic place to stay and an excellent base to explore the area. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment. The sea view from our private terrace was amazing. There was a table & chairs plus a sun lounger which was great for undisturbed sunbathing. There was also a door that led to a balcony. The kitchen was equipped with basic amenities but we needed to buy tea & coffee etc plus washing up items. We had a couple of issues such as the door handle coming off the entrance door, the TV not working and the broken sun lounger but these were all resolved very quickly the same day. The aircon wasn't really necessary as the wind blew through the apartment when windows were opened, which was a blessing! Housekeeping came most days but towels and bedding weren't changed often. The hotel was clean and modern and there were plenty of sun loungers around the pool.

Recently returned from our 2nd stay at costa mar, apartments very spacious, we were in block E which had a lovely sea view. Upon arrival the staff upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment which was a lovely surprise, our balcony was huge, staff lovely, clean facilities didn't eat in restaurant this time. Staff are lovely. Food is very good, plenty of choice. Rooms are big. Reception are very helpful and always have a smile on there face. Annoyed with privacy though. I was on my balcony listening to my small speaker whilst getting ready to go out and look along the strip.( no alcohol involved) when the room phone rang. It was the evening reception complaining that we making to much noise. I said it's only 8.50pm I'm getting ready to go out for a walk. He said " no your not I can see you on the balcony thru the security camera " I was horrified to know that I am being watched on my balcony. Absolutely disgusting and the fact that it was only 8.50pm I was not even loud. Yet I was woken up at midnight to 2 girls screaming and crying. Need to get priorities right and let tourists enjoy there holiday rather then perving thru the security camera 😩 would of got a 5 star if it wasn't for the pervy night staff

We have just returned from Areciffe, Lancelot Hotel. This is the second year that we have decided to pick this hotel. Rooms are nice and clean; pick one with sea view, and you will not regret it. Breakfast is different every day with loads of different dishes to pick from. Staff is very helpful and professional. The only thing that I will recommend will be a toilet brush at the toilet, and, maybe, a kettle with some tea and coffee. AC worked smoothly, same as tv with a couple of channels to pick. The from street was renovated, and now is accessible only for pedestrians and bicycles. Definitely will return.

We had a sea view room on the 5th floor with and amazing view. room comfortable, very clean , with a mini fridge great shower, good bed and decent size room too. Rooftop pool is compact but plenty of loungers and a nice bar area. Breakfast we found to be excellent, good choice, varied and lots of it.

A wonderful place to stay. Room was on 5th floor without a balcony (eg room 523,522,521) but located towards the back of the hotel so very quiet and peaceful as it didn't overlook any road at all. The second door between room and bathroom/exit door added to the sound proofing making this one of the quietest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Definitely had the best sleep here! Room was cleaned daily and towels replaced. TIP: Don't place the card on the door to request cleaning as the cleaners only pay attention to the 'do not disturb' side of this and will skip cleaning your room if you use this at all. Breakfast was adequate if not a little boring after a day or two. More vegetarian hot options would be great including yogurts suitable for vegetarians so that yogurt/cereal options were open to us as well. Did not use the gym but it looked well equipped and nicely located on the top floor with open doors to the roof top bar area. Swimming pool looks great but also didn't use this. A hot tub would be a wonderful addition to this area. Amazing view of the sunset from just outside the hotel lobby or better still, the top floor of the hotel. All in all, this is an excellent hotel on the beach front with great facilities and friendly staff. Near bus terminal with an easy walk into town centre. Scooter and bike rental places nearby.

We stayed here earlier this year and thought it was great! We stayed serenity side which was so relaxing. Breakfast was fabulous with everything you could think of to eat for breakfast time. Staff were always helpful and friendly and were there to help if needed. We had such a lovely time at the hotel we are back again in November! This time trying out the other side of the hotel! We travel a lot throughout the year and this hotel really does stand out, being adult only, peaceful and good food and lovely staff. Very clean, cleaners were always cleaning around the hotel it was spotless. Well done

Recently back from a 9 night stay at Sciroco, very impressed for the cost. Staff were great, the hotel was very clean and the pool areas clean. We upgraded to Serenity (highly recommended if available). Breakfast was good with a decent selection, we ate out in evening so can't comment on evening meal. Even in the peak season, we had no issues getting a sunbed, but we had our own on poolside terrace, the beds under the umbrellas (fixed in place) went fast, but we saw beds available throughout the day. The hotel has a strict rule on no towels on sunbeds before 10am unless your lying on them I guess. The main pool looked a lot busier with activities. Overall, we had a great break, and would recommend this hotel, but Serenity upgrade would be a must for us in high season.

For the money these are great apartments, very clean and reasonably modernised. Breakfast is excellent. Didn't have dinner. Chilled pool area being adult only. Only slight downside was a blanket ban on any late checkouts being granted, which is fair enough if it's really busy however there are no communal shower facilities to make use of, which if possible to add in future would be a nice addition to the Siroco. So a swimming pool dook had to make do before heading to the airport 🙈🤣

It is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were spacious and reasonably well equipped, though a little lacking on storage in the bedroom. We were in the self-catering, Serenity, side of the hotel, which definitely lived up to its name. The room was situated facing the pool and came with its own terrace, complete with sun loungers. There is a hotel dining room, which the self-catering guests can use on a pay as you eat basis,and the all you can eat buffet style food is delicious. The hotel is slightly out of the main Costa Teguise centre, but it's an easy 10-minute walk up there, and there are plenty of little places on the way up there. If you don't want to do the longer walk,there is a smaller square, only 5 minutes away from the hotel, La Cucharas,which has plenty of places to eat and shop. The staff were lovely and really helpful ,nothing was too much trouble for them, and the place is immaculately clean. Definitely one of the nicest places I've ever stayed.

Hotel Siroco was amazing 🤩 I visited with a couple of my friends in 2022 and also visited in 2023 with my husband. On both occasions we had a fantastic time. I was also planning to go there a couple of weeks ago but my dates weren’t available to accommodate us. I can’t complain as all the experience I’ve had has been the best. The staff were all lovely.

Great hotel with a warm and friendly welcome and amazing staff, chatty but not in your face and really helpful. We didn't eat here but the food being served looked really good. A nice 10 minute walk to the main front or on the other direction to the old harbour. The room was spacious and clean with lots of hot water and a good shower, basic cooking facilities (who cares!) but plenty of mugs, plates etc and most importantly a cork screw. Bottle of water in the fridge was a nice touch. Lovely place to hang out in evening with a few drinks, very reasonable prices. Lots of places to relax and change if you are waiting for your pick up after checkout. Tip....if you want a quieter room away from the outside bar as for a room in the rear block. Beautiful outdoor areas with flowers and trees, very well kept.

Nice apartments but very dated and in need of refurbishment. (Looks like some rooms were refurbished), safe available in room at €2 a day. Flooring damaged, marks on walls, mould in shower, sink cracked, fridge freezer dirty and damaged in areas, cupboards in kitchen damaged, TV didn't work until I fixed aerial. Rubbish under the bed, shaver left on a shelf, dirty and dusty fan, housekeeping not great. Fans in the rooms very good better than aircon. 3 clean pools very cold though with life guards, not big but not busy either. There are no issues with sun loungers and signs saying no reserving but this did happen not sure if they'd remove towels in busy times. Pool bar & restaurant available with good prices, polite staff and good range. Breakfast, dinner & evening meal available at a cost, not expensive. Wednesday unlimited BBQ €15 very good. Reception staff polite and attentive. Gym available. No availability of rooms for late check out but booked shower room which was adequate for change on last day, available locked cases room after check out. Location approx 10-15 minutes walk but down 100 steps (there is a ramp). Taxis readily available for return of required.

What a lovely apartment complex equally distant from the very lively sea front with all its bouncing bars and great restaurants to the harbour area with a more relaxed feel. The apartments are clean, and most have been modernised recently. The pool area is lovely and we didn't have an issue getting a sunbed (contrary to some reports). Reception staff are great. Housekeeping are fantastic with ready smiles and greetings every time you met one of them. Poolside bar area is clean and the staff are great. We will be back.

We arrived from the UK to spend a week at the Lomo Blanco, three weeks ago. Unfortunately, on arrival we weren't given a warm welcome, after fourteen hours travelling. It was late, we were extremely tired, hungry. The receptionist was so cold, lacked empathy, and was extremely rude. My partner and I pulled her up on it, as we are hot on basic customer care, but that is not the point. We also complained to her manager, so hopefully this does not keep happening. Lomo Blanco as a whole, is nice, beautiful plants, surrounding areas clean, pretty. Acommodation is good, and bar / kitchen staff exceptionally friendly. However, would we stay here again, we wouldn't. First impressions, are important. The first welcome at the desk, sets the tone.

Just returned from this hotel and we loved it, the location is amazing, we spent everyday around the pool or at the beach swimming in the sea. The food was good, there's something for everyone and they had some themed nights to add some variation but it is the usual all inclusive so don't go expecting anything wild. The room was great, we had a terrace which was lovely to sit out on and the room was clean and well maintained. There's plenty to do locally within walking distance including a water park and excursions are arranged from the hotel to go further a field. Drinks were ok, again the usual all inclusive options but quite a few cocktails to chose from compared to some resorts. Entertainment was good and loads on throughout the day and night. We will definitely be returning.

For the majority of our holiday, water was leaking through the roof in our room which kept us from sleeping well. After several attempts, this finally got fixed about half way through our holiday. Reception staff were always helpful, but the staff in the food areas displayed the worst customer service i have ever experienced, they were very rude, interrupting us in the middle of eating a number of times. It seems they failed to give us bands to wear, which caused some confusion, and be aware that half board means you can’t have any drinks, not even water. But they won’t make this clear up front, but instead interrupt you whilst eating. The holiday was good because we made the most of it and had day trips out, but i won’t stay here again, they need lessons in basic customer service

Rooms and complex spotless. AI food offering varied and very good. (Some seats outside if you're lucky) Fizz, wines, lager, and soft drinks self serve. Location to coast prom and beach and bars is excellent. More engagement by staff in eating areas and reception needs to improve even if it's just a smile or greeting. The site is sloped with lots of steps, so it's not suitable if you're fully able bodied. TUI staff were engaged and excellent.

We were quite disappointed by the hotel and would not rate this four stars. The restaurant feels like a school refter and is very large. Built to accommodate as many guests as possible. Furniture is outdated. The food was underwhelming. If you want to eat vegetarian or vegan: forget it. There’s no meat substitutes available and the ‘vegetarian corner’ consists of vegetables only. We ate in the restaurant twice but went out for food most of the times as we weren’t satisfied by the food being served. Service is mehhh. You have to search the restaurant for cutlery. There’s a lot of food on the ground especially around the kids corner. The beverage section at the beginning of the restaurant is closed and covered with a mouldy curtain. The drink area around the pool smells bad. The pool itself is large, however, full of kids. We were happy about the apartment though! The apartment is big enough, has a nice terrace and seems new. At night there’s noise from the staff working so sleeping with windows open wasn’t ideal. Staff was friendly most of the time. In conclusion: this hotel accommodates a lot of people. There are many families with little kids. Too crowded for us. Food was not yummy. Appartement was good. Location was ok, in front of a beautiful beach.

This is the place if you want a kid friendly hotel, the rooms are clean and well equipped, the best views are with the upper rooms, the pools are large, they have an adult swimming pool, the main pool is for the families, there is also smaller pool at the small bar in the hotel complex 😀. The bar is kid friendly, right to closing time. I never used it as I don't have kids. The dining room is large and can more than accommodate all holidaymakers. The selection of food and drinks is extensive and varied, there is also a separate adult section for diners. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely consider returning here,but mainly when kids are at school as I don't have kids. You can walk to the town.

I stayed at this place way back in July 2007 when I was only 9 with family. So writing this review and giving it a rating is really out of sentiment, since there will no doubt have been changes over the years. Based on my memory, I remember this place being a very good place to stay for both adults and kids. The breakfast buffets were always very good. The room was pretty standard with a ground floor balcony overlooking C.Tomillo (street name) towards the beach. The swimming pool was also fun with a bridge crossing over it. I hope this place is still doing well.

Having read some reviews before our arrival, I was a little worried about what type of experience we would have. I can't fault it, I'm pleased to say. I had requested that due to reduced mobility if possible that I didn't have to walk up steps to my room, this request was honoured by putting me in a lovely apartment, with no steps & close to the pool, restaurant & bar, I couldn't have asked for more. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. They had so much choice & were always replenishing it. We stayed by the quieter pool which was lovely & there were always plenty of sunbeds. The only negative for me was the 3 cats I saw wandering around, but apart from that, my experience at Livvo Morromar was a good one & I would happily go back & hope to do so soon.

I recently stayed at Apartamentos LIVVO Morromar in Lanzarote and had a mixed experience. The property itself is very nice and has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, several issues overshadowed our stay. Firstly, cleanliness was a concern, with dirty plates nearly every night and stained bedsheets that were never changed. There was no air conditioning in the rooms or most indoor areas, making it uncomfortable at times. The pool bar, which is by the pool but indoors and not accessible while wet, doesn’t open until 10:30 AM, making it not a true pool bar. Additionally, there were no accessible toilets while wet, which was inconvenient. Our experience with the reception staff was particularly disappointing. When someone in our group requested extra pillows, they were promised but never delivered, and the staff were incredibly rude, shouting, "We're a small island, we don't have all the pillows in the world." We asked about the availability of a courtesy room on our first day and were told to ask again the day before checkout. When we did, the same rude receptionist told us to check again in the morning, only to be informed by a different, much nicer receptionist that it had already been booked. We were faffed about for no reason. The bar staff, though lovely, seemed inexperienced with making cocktails. The entertainment staff were also wonderful, and while the activities were fun, there weren't many options for children. Despite being told kids couldn't participate in some activities, we saw other children joining in later, which was frustrating. Food was a highlight of our stay; we had some delicious meals, and the spirit pours were generous. The hotel is a fair walk to nearby shops, and there isn’t much to do in the immediate area, although we enjoyed a nice English breakfast at a nearby Australian place. Overall, while Apartamentos LIVVO Morromar is a nice property with some delightful staff, the numerous issues we encountered suggest there are better places to stay in Lanzarote. The potential for a great stay is there, but the management needs to address these concerns to make it truly enjoyable.

We spent a week in this structure. Comfortable and it provides everything you need. All inclusive is the best option, you can eat and drink at any time during the day ( alcoholics included such as cocktails and liquors ). The pools are good , there are two of them , well cleaned. The rooms are quite big , everyday the housekeepers come to clean and they do an excellent job. Receptionist and all the staff is very kind. Inside the resort there is also a gym, a futsal field, a tennis court… anyway if you are a sports lover this is the right place. There are two parking lots really near to the apartments. The food is good, the buffets are big and they cook dishes of all sorts, so you can find always something you like. My experience is a 5 star one , I dom’t have to complain about anything, only good speaking. Extremely recommended ! Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹

The hotel overall was not bad, when we arrived it was obviously quite hot overnight and we had asked the reception staff about the air con the next day. We were informed they did not have aircon switched on , we had two aircon units in the apartment and due to the size of the apartment it was mostly very hot in there overnight which could be quite uncomfortable. It also states on the holiday information pack that you get free Wi-Fi in your apartment however it is only in the main reception area, we just decided to pay for the Wi-Fi for during the nights to watch films etc which to be honest wasn’t a bad price but should not state that it is included really! So be aware of this! If you are not a fan of cats be aware, there are stray cats everywhere,personally I love cats so this was no issue for me but they are around the pool areas and near reception. The locals do feed them so they do not need to be feed! Most are very friendly and did have a cat follow us into the apartment 🙂 In our apartment on the balcony there was a big infestation of small white bugs that unfortunately got onto our clothes when we were drying them outside, these did end up coming in the apartment by the end of the week. They seem completely harmless but they stick in the cracks of the balcony, which may be normal around this area? Other than that the apartment is great, it has two pools ,one can be quieter than the other and a lot of people have abandoned their floats so there is a choice of them to use! There is music down by one of the pools and a food and drink bar open during the day, they have activities on throughout the week, lunch and nighttime. The all inclusive side of things is great, unlimited drinks and a good selection of food. However the food can sometimes be hit and miss and there isn’t always something you may like but this is always down to personal preference ! During the week we visited the local zoo which was amazing they provide free travel back and forward from your apartment, there are bikes down near the beach that you can hire, I would recommend going for the cheaper ones as they are €20 for the whole day! you can follow the bike paths up and down the strip for more shops and better views! We also visited Puerto del Calero, it’s a small town you can visit via boat taxi. It is a lovely place to go and visit and the staff on the boat taxi are very friendly! Room service visits pretty much every day and always changes all towels and gives the apartment a good clean. I will say that the coach driver Cedric for jet 2 who picks up and drops off at the airport, was not welcoming both times we met him. He was rude to myself when he could not understand me and on the way back to the airport a group of people were waiting for a coach back to the airport, a lady had placed her bag on the coach and he had thrown it back off and shouted” WAIT” just very unpleasant! Overall it is a good hotel to stay at, next time we visit for personal preference we will likely go closer to the beach as there is a hotel directly next to it but for a five minute walk down to the beach you can hardly complain, overall brilliant holiday and we will be sure to return!!

We had a week stay here in Oct and the hotel itself was really lovely and immaculately clean. Rooms are a good size my only downside was no air con, you are given a fan but one fan for a kitchen, living area and bedroom would not touch the sides in the hotter months we just about found it okay an could sleep. The staff are amazing so friendly and amazing with children, my little boy took a real liking to Dora and he loved their nightly mini disco they also have a kids club but he was too young to leave this year. Location fabulous stone throw from a supermarket, beach, playground and lots of bars and restaurants. Overall really pleased

I only had bed and breakfast, which i was very happy with (wasn't too much) The location of the hotel is pretty perfect as well, right next to shops and the beach :) This would be a great hotel for kids as the entertainment looked pretty good for them Only downsides really were - The rooms shower leaked horrendously, you can't even angle it away to stop it (the pressure on the shower is incredible, though !) - The WiFi really is poor and it cuts you off constantly - Also randomly the pool seems to close at 7 and doesn't reopen till 10, I haven't had this at another hotel so thought it was a bit odd (as the hotel was so close to the beach this didn't really bother me to much personally) Overall, it was a nice hotel, basic but nice :) very clean as well

I am absolutely baffled by the 5 star reviews of this hotel! We arrived and our first room had a leaking shower, and a terrible smell in the main area which we had to report three times before they moved our room, the room we moved into had a condom wrapper next to the bed, not sure how it was missed but my 9 year old spotted it immediately, cue lots of questions. The mattresses are clearly very old as it's like sleeping in a hammock. The new room had broken fans, lack of balcony chairs for a family of four, old tatty chairs, a kettle that I wouldn't dare attempt to use. Everything is dated and damaged, cigarette burns in the sun loungers etc. My daughter scalded her arm on the shower handle from leaning against it, a week later it still hasn't healed fully. I spoke to reception as I was concerned other children of that height could have a similar or worse acident, but I was told it is logical for it to be hot. I think there should be protection or at least a warning sign. They were completely apathetic as she hadn't needed to go to hospital, luckily I had been able to give first aid myself! Breakfast is very basic, and although I found it hard to face each morning, I can't fault it for the kids as they loved the selection. We did buy some overpriced pizzas from the pool snack bar, do not recommend eating from here! The pools are absolutely freezing, from what I've read at least one of them should have been heated but this is not the case. The irony of it being too hot for the hotel to heat the pools but not hot enough to provide air con as standard is not lost on me! The best thing about the hotel is by far the entertainment team, they work really hard and the kids adore them. They are probably the reason the hotel gets great reviews. I also can't fault the location, very close to everything. My issues here are not with the staff, as most of them work really hard and are polite. I think management is the problem, it looks like they have left the day to day running of everything to the entertainment team. It is clear this hotel is not investing in updating the rooms or equipment quickly enough. They don't take health and safety seriously, as also saw lots of children slip over by the pools and it is ignored even when they are very obviously hurt. I understand this is an affordable hotel so expected it to be basic, but I have still spent a substantial amount to holiday here, and it is poor in contrast to other hotels we have stayed in for less money.

Absolutely brilliant hotel! Started here a few years ago and our room was lovely and spacious with a great view. The block we were staying in had a poolside cafe and was surrounded by beautiful palm trees that towered over us, giving the whole place a great atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help if anything was wrong, as well as consistently making sure the whole hotel was spotless, cleaning rooms every few days or so. The hotel is extremely close to arrecife airport and we were able to take a taxi to our block within minutes of landing. The hotel is also situated right on the beachfront, giving us great access to the beach and the endless rows of restaurants along the coast. It was an absolutely amazing trip and I would absolutely go again!

Great place to stay. Out of the main town enough for peace and quiet but a 40min (flat) walk along the beach to town or a 10min bus ride for countless bars, restaurants and atmosphere. Staff were great. Hire your car from reception and they'll sort it out for you within the hour if before 1pm. Couldn't be any easier. Loads of bars and choices to eat in the complex too. 2min to the beach. What more can you ask?😎

I stayed in this property last week (June 2024). The property is amazing and cozy. The staff is super friendly and love to help their guests. Rooms were very clean and the apartment was very spacious. Location is amazing too and very close to the beach. Taxi station is like 2 mins walking from the hotel. Overall I loved my stay at this property. Staff is very kind too, I had a late flight to catch after my checkout at 12 pm, They allowed me to store my luggage and also allowed me to shower while leaving the hotel later.

Very good location near the beach and shopping centre. The reception is very friendly and welcoming. The room is very basic facilities indeed,very filmsy kettle and toaster. There was 3 of us and when we arrived, the 3rd bed not even made. It was just bed frame and the mattress and no extra duvet or pillow provided.I called the reception then the grumpy maid brought us the pillow but no bedsheets. We have to call the reception again so we had the bed set complete but why don't they made the bed earlier before we checked in. We have to do them by ourselves. We got locked out on the balcony the first night. The grumpy male maid again came to help to open the door. We didn't know that you should take your room key with you. If the door shut, it will lock automatically. I probably will not consider to stay here again in the future.

Would not return again and wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. Just returned. Cleaning very poor and general upkeep is of low standard. The staff at reception were so rude. Wouldn't hurt to smile and make people feel welcome. On our last day trees were being cut by the pool area as people were trying to relax and there was twigs ,dirt and dust everywhere. There were also alot of cockroaches for my liking around the area. We will definitely not be returning.

A Very well run place. Our 1st apartment was definitely not to our liking. It was large enough and.a big outside area but fully enclosed, we felt hemmed in. Next door fan was extremely noisy. Moved to a new room after noon and and location and view were perfect. Cleaning and laundry etc... was 5 days out of 7. Brilliant 👏. As it was 3 weeks, a washing machine was missed. Regarding calling the Room Superier. We and others totally challenge that. Sure its large enough, reasonable designed but in much need of a refurbishment. The location is perfect, the swimming 🏊‍♀️ pool x 2 are brilliant 👏. We'll maintain. 2 life guards applied the rules. However if you have young children, no beach balls or lilos allowed. This is not the place to be. Life guards only applying the rules but no come or go. Very strict, for a safety reason I assume. Supervised Kids loosing out. Pool area spotless. Hosed down every night. SunBeds as well. Lovely kept gardens. Staff very helpful. Everything was outdated but functioned as designed in the apartment Yes, we would go back.

Towels on the sunloungers at midnight is not acceptable so I threw them off. Manager wasn't interested and was very rude. To top it off I slept with a mouse for 2 weeks. Then I asked to keep the room on I was told to go back at 8.30 the following morning then I was told 10 o'clock. They then said no, luckily I had lovely neighbours who minded our cases. Went back at 5 to pick our cases up and there was nobody in the apartment still so didn't see what the issue was as you can only keep the room on for 2hr at 25 euro a pop. Puerto del carmen is gorgeous and I will be going back but not to the Labranda.

Pros - Amazing location, house keeping came nearly everyday, lovely and clean pool area, specious apartment Cons - ‘air con’ was shocking, didn’t blow cold air, the only setting that worked was the fan which just blew warm air round the room. We had someone come and look at it twice and they said it was working when it wasn’t. Could do with a fan in the bedroom. Air con unit looks very old. No bowls in room? Asked at reception and they said they don’t have any? Had to eat cereal out a pan. Balcony area needs a good clean, makes your feet really dirty, don’t think it’s ever been washed. - just a heads up you need to send a screen shot showing you have booked the hotel when you get to reception through an email they provide. Don’t know why they can’t just search your name up?

We have been here for 7 nights and had a great time. The park is very neat and well maintained. we had an apartment with jacuzzi (recommended) which was very spacious with a kitchen with associated attributes. The beds are perfect. A beautiful and nice swimming pool, because of our visit in April we had all the space to ourselves. There is plenty to do on the island for people over 50, as we are. You can walk to the harbor which is a 15 minutes walk. There is the market and various places where you can eat.

Wonderful staff, wonderful 2 bedroom bungalows with beautiful bonsai (small but pretty and organised) gardens. Clean, efficient, friendly, relaxing. Nice swimming pool as well. Nice views of the sea and surrounding parks and pretty houses. Look no further for no-frills relaxation, peace, quiet, and comfort. One tip: take an extra fleece in winter as I don’t think the rooms are heated.

Probably one of the nicest self catering apartments we have ever stayed at, compact and not over crowded. Staff, rooms and pool area all perfect. Great service from the baily bar and happy hour was a nice bonus. Filtered water in the room was also a nice touch. Only area that could be improved is when the pool was quiet (ie when only our kids were in the pool) the life guard could have been more flexible with the rules about toys in the pool, but saying that we will be back.

Lovely, clean, and very quiet place. We will be returning here for sure. Shop and restaurants are so close, but it's not in the busy area. Very close to the beach. The apartments are very nice and clean. Kitchen fully equipped, so the guests can cook for themselves everything. Bar, they have great maybe the price is not the lowest but the food are great!! They have amazing cook. At least for October, the place was just perfect. We will see how it will be in another month, next time.

We arrived in the early afternoon and our room was not available until 4pm which was a shame. Check out is also at 10am which would have been nice to have been later but every hotel has different policies. They take a 100 euro deposit when you check in as a pending charge and return it to you at the end of your stay (may take several days depending on your bank). The apartment itself was very spacious with everything you need, including a full kitchen with plenty of amenities to use, including ice makers which was a nice touch. You may get some loud young lads that come to the hotel which is a shame but can’t be helped. We stayed in 1C which didn’t get much sun if you want to sit on your terrace and the view was the back of the restaurant which again isn’t ideal. WiFi is available throughout the hotel but did buffer on occasion when we were watching live sport or film on our laptop when streaming. The pools are great (you can rent towels for the day or week at an extra cost), including the jacuzzi and there are plenty of loungers to choose from (book with the lifeguard and you need to make sure you are there for either morning or afternoon so you don’t lose them to others). Happy hour is available at the bar twice a day and a beer is 3 euros at this time and you get a second for free. We only had a light lunch which was ok for the price but we didn’t try any of the main meals from the menu. The bar staff are nice and the reception staff are super helpful, always have a smile on their face and will try to help wherever possible.

Rooms are basic but it's just a place to put your head down anyway, could not get the air conditioning to work so made do without. Food was good, always something to eat and drink. If you're in the low 1000s room you'll likely get a friendly cat popping around, he likes nothing more than curling up on a lap and going to sleep so look out for the wee fellow. We went with our two teenage kids 15,17 years old. The family room was not really suitable for us .The rooms and facilities are a bit dated. The whole place could do with a revamp. Rain water ce through the restaurant roof , gutter system just bodghed together. You weren't allowed to take any food or drinks to your rooms. The food was ok, but need to crisp the bacon up as was almost raw. Could do with a fridge or tea making facilities in the room. The entertainment was awful but made you laugh at how bad it was. Didn't go in the pool as it was very cold. The sea was warmer but not easy to get into because of all the rocks. I would probably stay further up the cost at Flamingo Bay if I went again.

WARNING WARNING! If you want to enjoy your holiday, DO NOT stay at Royal Monica!! My family and I went to stay here for 6 nights in 2 separate rooms and we arrived in the evening. The following morning, we went for a walk along the beach and when we arrived back in our rooms, we noticed the cleaners have been in. When we checked our wallets which have been out on the table, from one of them a €50 note was missing in one room and from another wallet in our other room, 2 €20 notes were missing. Unsurprisingly, the wallets which have been hidden away had no money missing. When we went to the reception and asked for a manager to put in a complaint about this, we were told the manager isn’t there and so we told what happened to the receptionist and he was very rude and laughed in our faces whilst telling us to go to the police as he trusts the cleaners to never do something like this. We weren’t the only ones there that needed to talk with the police as we saw the police at the hotel on 2 separate occasions speaking with people staying there and on one of the occasions the lady speaking with them was crying and left the hotel not long after, so clearly we weren’t the only ones having a terrible experience. We saw cockroaches multiple times whilst staying here as well. We saw them inside of our rooms and also one time whilst we were eating in the dining room, a cockroach was crawling on my mum’s shoulder. The food was horrendous at Royal Monica. The food available was repetitive, almost the same foods every day and on top of that, they were serving raw meat a lot of the time as the chicken and beef weren’t cooked enough. The chefs are also very unhygienic as we saw them cooking the pancakes and fried eggs on the same grill with the same utensils, this ended up with some of the eggs having a layer of pancake stuck to the bottom which was disgusting, there was also egg shells in the fried eggs. They definitely also used the same knife to cut vegetables and fruits as the watermelons tasted like onions. Dessert was also horrible as the cake they put out was fully frozen, it was hard to even cut the cake and you could see the ice inside of the cake! There is supposed to be entertainment at the pool bar every day like at most other hotels but even though they say they put on entertainment, there is nothing at the pool bar for entertainment other than football on the TV. We were all so excited for this holiday but it was the biggest disappointment of our lives and we do not recommend this hotel at all, please stay away!

Just spent a week at the resort. Very mixed feelings about the experience, having read the reviews before we arrived we were very sceptical. Some of the points we read were 100% accurate and can’t disagree with. Good location to be fair and the weather was glorious and the view from the pool area is stunning, sea is hard to swim in as currents around the rocky shore is strong and isn’t an easy walk to the sea. Swimming pool was freezing most days one of the days it was bearable to get in but it was the warmest day. Pool bar always quick to get drinks and waiters come and clear the empty glasses fairly quickly. Food was not good, very limited choice and very repetitive, seem to cater for the French and German guests over the English. Lunch was probably the best choice of food and quality. Breakfast isn’t English either and not even similar so went to bills 10 minute walk up the road ( breakfast there was insane ) and only €5 for a full English. Most of the staff were pleasant but there were a few that were rude and abrupt. They talk to you if you are French Spanish or German not very friendly to the English. The evening entertainment ( well if you can call it that ) is not worth wasting your evening going too, always late to start, no organization at all very very amateur at best, it was error after error on every night we went. Again if your French Spanish or German they engage with you other wise no, and when they do quizzes they tell you the answers in either French or Spanish. Very very heavily French and German and Spanish populated and found these people very rude and arrogant and just found them staring at the English all the time, the French stood out to me as being intolerable and no consideration for anyone else, its put me off even wanting to visit France. Rooms are clean and beds comfy and we had a nice terrace area on the ground floor which is a bit dated but we found the room fine. Only saw 1 cockroach on our terrace the whole time saw more little geckos than anything else, oh yeah and the local hedgehogs! It’s a cheap and cheerful hotel really don’t expect luxury. For us it was the people really who spoilt it in a way and also the food and staff. Location and weather were the really positive points and meeting some friendly English people too. Oh and a special mention to Katarina who does the car hire she was really nice and gave us a good deal on our mini convertible for 2 days. Also don’t get taxis from the hotel as they are perverts and make you feel very uncomfortable. 2/5 for hotel experience 5/5 for making our holiday fun in our own way.

A lovely, peaceful stay was had here. Not too overcrowded and nice and clean. The breakfast was good for a 3 star hotel, and the staff friendly and attentive. The pool is clean and quiet, and some entertainment was laid on for the guests too. No rushes to get a sunbed and no screaming children. I would recommend this to couples seeking a peaceful escape away from the more busier and crowded hotels that we had passed.

Lovely peaceful place today, ideal you want to unwind, relax and reflect. It’s quite basic but that’s the beauty. Great selection at brekkie the dinner menu you is measured to ensure health and vitality it’s all about the good nutrition. The team here are all lovely and not in your face. Towels are changed every other day.

The hotel is in a very quiet place, yet you can walk to the city and the ocean within 15-20 minutes. We had a sense of privacy throughout the resort. The room was nice, very clean, spacious, furnished in a simple style without frills. The breakfast was fantastic, with a large selection of food considering all the intolerances that people have these days. We were in the hotel for 5 days and every day we could have something different. The pool bar is open throughout the day, where you can have a snack, lunch or alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks. The pool bar is connected to a restaurant where you can have a great 4-course dinner at a very good price. The staff is very very nice and helpful. We had a pleasant welcome at the reception. The hotel is not new, but it can be seen that it is regularly maintained. For me and my wife, a great hotel, at a reasonable price, away from the noise of the center. I recommend.

We were there up until 7pm). However, it was cleaned and, lo and behold, no shoes. A mixture of blame to me (for leaving them). But, I don't understand why the cleaner didn't hand them in. 🤷🏻

Just back from our 10 night stay. The hotel itself was lovely and very close to the strip and beach. It’s about a 15 min walk to the old town too. The hotel is situated at the top of what everyone calls ‘cardiac hill’ but it really isn’t that bad maybe if you have a disability you probably would struggle. The hotel does have a side entrance you can access through and then go up lots of steps but the gate closes around 7. Also another way is to enter from the strip at the bottom of the hotel near sun lounge. The rooms are bright, clean and modern we loved the room and we were very pleased as we was near the pool area. The only thing with the room was mopping up every time we took a shower. The hotel doesn’t like inflatables in the pool or said no ball games but people did have balls in pool and the pool staff didn’t seem to mind. Sun beds were taken very early but the staff removed towels if they were left unattended for long. The only reason why we wouldn’t return to this hotel is because the pool was absolutely freezing!

Nice hotel. Friendly staff . . Right on cardiac hill. . . Pool was good to cool down when it was roasting hot . . Had a great time. But the only complaint was the towels round the pool . Some days hotel staff would remove them if guests left them.. maybe yous should've done this all the time rather when it suited you's . . As people could have been away for hrs and nothing would be done . But yet others would be lifted within minutes of them leaving the hotel. . Team meeting I think and make sure yous all work off the same hym sheet . .

Our experience for Kontiki is great. Good location, neat rooms, nice, a bit too cold 😄, swimming pool. The time we stayed there was checked every day for putting towels on the sunbeds. Special thanks to the staff who are busy every day to make the rooms and garden tidy.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. From check in to check out the staff were incredible. The rooms are so clean. We paid a bit extra for the sea view room and it was worth it. The location is really good, it’s close to the strip, you will be on the main strip within 3 minutes - the walk up is tough so bear that in mind when booking.

Fabulous apartments. Pros, fab staff , lovely pretty pool area. Swanky new sunbathing deck, sauna, quite, any problems were addressed straight away. Towels provided for pool. Cons , no air conditioning, you can rent a unit but its very loud. Hardly no kids so probably more adult aimed. No floaties , no balls in pool , could be a pro if your not a child . They are very disability friendly. Spotlessly clean . Over all lovely apartments.

Enjoyed ourselves, we are going to book again but in the apartments as less stairs to climb. We hope to come back in July of this year. We made lots of new friends and found your bar lady Carmen a delight as she couldn't do enough for us, what a lovely lady, hope the hotel thinks highly of her. Brilliant position the hotel is in as restaurants bars and beach just across the road, couldn't get much closer just great if you have difficult walking. Beds very very comfortable. Never have to worry about getting a sun bed, but still people put their towels on sunbeds early and never went on sunloungers for 4 hours, which should never happen. In all a lovely experience. We returned first two weeks in July, the apartments are great, dish washer, washing machine, cooker, micro oven. Aircon, safe and beech towels all in with the price. Apartments spotless will definitely be back, worth every penny, just love it. Oh just remembered dishwasher tablets and washing tabs all supplied. Great place.

Apartment very spacious, well equipped with full fridge freezer, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, walk in power shower - every little detail thought off. Breakfast amazing with great choice, so relaxing not frantic like other places I've been to. Although directly across from square very quiet, beautiful large pool area with plenty of beds - will definitely book again next year.

My family have just enjoyed a great week at Villas Blancas (Villa 38) 4 bed Villa - really liked the gated complex and received a good service from the management company. Size and space of Villa was excellent, pool area was great and exactly what we wanted. Definitely needed a hire car but this suited us and gave my family the opportunity to get out and about. I would have given this review 5 stars but only minor criticism was there was only two sofas in the living area for a villa that sleeps 8 .. relaxing in the villa on a night was a bit tight but I do feel I’m being a picky with this criticism. Overall this Villa was great value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again

We stayed in villa 23 great large clean villa (cheaper than the smaller villas we could find) on a secure complex its a perfect mix of being private but also secure - only main bedroom had aircon so not sure how anyone would sleep in the other rooms anyway - air con in living room wasnt great but air con in main bedroom was amazing! Lovely chap came to clean pool every other day and we had towels and sheets changed mid week - Jennifer via email was quick to respond to any queries - we had a car so location perfect for us but walk into town wouldnt be bad and taxis or scooters a available- gutted to be home

The villa is very modern and clean. Our villa (no. 16) was near the main gate so we didnt have far to go. Despite that it was very quiet and we were not disturbed. The villa itself had everything we needed. A washing machine, tumble dryer (which we didnt use), dishwasher apart from the basic essentials. Even an iron and ironing board. The pool was super and very clean. Only problem was it was difficult for me to get in and out as there was no steps to get into the water. The only problem was that apart from Sky news there was no other English programs. We would certainly recommend these villas to any family.

We were really happy with our stay. The hotel is central, not too far a walk down to the strip at all (massive plus point for me) - the rooms are clean and really spacious and are cleaned 5 days out of 7, there plenty sunbeds available (could be doing with more parasols though) there is entertainment around the pool with the fabulous Alex, a real credit to the hotel. Food wise we were happy also, a good bit of variety at the buffet each meal, each day something different. Would not hesitate to recommend and would absolutely stay here again

Yet another amazing stay here. This is my 4th time here and already planning to come back. Every member of the team have been great, nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Massive shout out to Alex from the Animation team. He made the last week of our holiday. Rooms are are lovely, plenty of space and stunning views from your patio. There was a small issue with this air con, however this was not a fault of the hotel and they everything they could to keep us up to date with this. Location is perfect, team are perfect, hotel is perfect. See you all next year.

Stayed for 8 nights. Really enjoyed our stay. Room was fantastic value, really clean. Perfect location near the beach and bars. We stayed for half board. Breakfast was standard buffet nothing special. Dinner however was excellent quality. Always a variety of tasty food, with daily themes such as Chinese, Mexican etc. Pool quite small and limited umbrellas. Unfortunately many sun beds are claimed early with towels, nothing done to prevent this. Overall though we definitely recommend!

My third visit here and I have to say, this is the best one yet! Everything was absolutely amazing. The staff were always very friendly, always helpful and welcoming. Alex the entertainer of a day and a night was just the best! He had us in laughs from the beginning to the end! Belly laughs in fact! He is just amazing and tried his hardest to get everyone involved. Never stopped. The air con wasn’t working in the rooms, but we learnt that the hotel were trying to resolve it and it was due to road works causing a cut in the wires. It was tough but it wasn’t helped. We just opened the doors and hoped for the best!! Already looking for our next holiday for next year! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you to everyone at Relaxia Lanzaplaya!

Resort in an excellent location, good and varied food, certainly the cleaning of the room leaves a little to be desired. We stayed for 2 weeks, and apart from the first few days, in which the cleaning was carried out daily with a change of towels and bed linen, afterwards it seemed they had forgotten about us, with the result that we went every day to beg for a roll of toilet paper. It's true that the cleaning days were declared from the beginning (5 cleaning days and two non-cleaning days per week) but we had 4 days where no one even came near the front door. Seems a bit excessive, don't you think?

What an amazing room and apartment. Outside looks very cosy in your average street(1 minute walking from the Charco boulevard) but inside is amazing. High ceilings, huge living room, spacious kitchen. The style is special, but it works. Bed was perfect, the kitchen really simple but did the trick. Bathroom could have been beter as the warm water was not sufficient for more than 2 people taking a shower after each other. Solarium outside was perfect with some sunbeds and tables. I visited in march so the jacuzzi was a bit cold, but can imagjne this is perfect in summer times. Parking is available on the street in front. Would recommend 10/10, especially for the price

Had a great time at Hotel Pocillos Playa. As we arrived late in the evening, the Hotel staff set aside 2 plates of food so we had something to eat. All the staff were friendly and we didn't seem to have any trouble while we were there. The food was great, different every lunch time and dinner so at least that kept it interesting. There was entertainment every night, however as the football was on some of the games didn't happen! There was plenty to do if staying around at the hotel. I will only say this as a bad point, On you card you get given at the start of the stay, and on the board by the pools, and even when checking in, is says you cannot reserve a sun lounger (leave a towel on the sun lounger). However this happened every day. I am not too bothered that poeple did this as luckily it wasn't busy enough to stop us from having a lounge by the pool. However, why have a rule if you aren't going to enforce it. Also they had a "premium" lounging area, yet not at one point was this explained when we checked in. It was for "All-Inclusive Premium" customers, but we were never asked if we would like to have upgraded to the premium. And (before we found this out) one day we were in this area (only people in there) and basically someone came along and asked to check our bands or if we had a ticket, as we had neither we were asked to leave. At this point he could have told us all we needed to do was pop to reception and get a ticket or ask about the premium upgrade! So other than this, Our stay was great. It was my partners birthday and on her birthday after we had been out for the morning, we came back to our room and there was a nice bottle of Champagne and 2 glasses on Ice which was really nice, TOP marks for this! We never even said anything to anyone, so I am assuming they just noticed it off our passports. Anyway, I would stay here again. Just ASK RECEPTION about what you get with "premium" and how much it is per night (€10 per person per night I think).

We went all inclusive but you had to pay 3 Euros a day for the safe and buy your own water from local shops. There was also a 5 euro deposite for pool towels plus a 1 euro charge, and if you wanted a clean one, they charged. If you wanted a drink by the pool you had to pay a 1 euro deposit on a plastic cup - thankfully you could get this changed for a clean one. The food was adequate, nothing special. Sometimes the hot food was cold, including the breakfast food. There was a poor choice of desserts, and it was very repetitive. On the good side the hotel was nice and our room good. The pool area and the pool were nice, although not big enough for the amount of guests. The Entertainment was poor. We had a good week but we won't be returning to this hotel.

The hotel is close to the beach and amenities. The staff are all friendly. The young receptionist in the evening was very helpful and welcoming. I had emailed to request a ground floor room due to my husband's mobility issues, which we were given and even upgraded to pool view. We arrived late and a salard meal was waiting for us. The room was cleaned every day, and towels changed every other day. There was a small kettle, cups and fridge in the room. The safe cost €3 per day. A refundable €1 each for a plastic beaker for use around the pool. ( which is understandable for safty given how windy it was. ) We stay all inclusive, the food was ok, you wouldn't go hungry, but breakfast was the best meal. The pastrys were great. There were various activities during the day and some entertainment at night. I also had a wonderful back massage in the spa. There is a shower room available in the toilets if you have a late flight and want to freshen up. Overall, the other guests were friendly and mixed nationalities, mostly middle-aged. And NO kids!!!

It was our first time in lanzarote. The hotel was great. Rooms were clean and a good size. We had a pool view room which was lovely to sit outside and chill. We found the staff really helpful, the food was very good and varied. The only thing that let it down was the bar! As we were all inclusive the drinks were not great, the drinks were poor. We ended up buying bottles of prosecco at €10 euros . I'd definitely recommend this hotel still, and a fantastic location. Id like to finish with there was a lady that was coming to the end of her 60 day trial. She was fantastic!!! She interacted with everyone around the pool and dining room. She will bring a lot to the hotel if kept on. I think her name was Nalan... forgive me if I have misspelt her name. We met some lovely couple's as well. I can't wait to come back😁

We had a great time at Relaxia Lanzasur Club. 3 STARS: The overall service and state of the rooms and facilities is okay. It looks like it was great but could use some fixing up and repairing and painting here and there. On our last few days of holidays, had a lovely time away can't wait to book the next holiday. Lovely hotel very family friendly with a great animation team 2024 who make the holiday by keeping you entertained all day and in the evenings. Team darts, mini golf, bowls, shuffle board, water polo and many moor including the very funny to watch magic water carpet. The animation team is very talented putting on mini discos then a show every evening except one while they have a day off. Couldn't fault it and the 2 Portuguese lads dave and Simon I think made us laugh thanks guys.

Stayed here for 1 week and I would definitely come back. Was a really great stay, good food, really friendly staff and clean. The activity team are really great and always hosting several activities throughout the day. The rooms have very good air-conditioning which is a big win. If I had to be picky, the arcade could do with an upgrade as the machines are a bit dated.

Villa's fine although housekeeping needs improvement. Food choice and quality average to poor most days. Pools and water park great pool area generally clean and well attended. Sunbeds are fine and reasonably confortable. Snack bar ok but little variety. Spirits are small measures and 20% abv beer palatable. Animation team fine for daytime activities. Evening entertainment only one decent night when we were there. We were here 9 years ago as extended family and really enjoyed it but things have gone down hill a bit since then.

This is a lovely hotel it just needs some ruff edges smoothing. We had to ask for our room to be cleaned several times as we had been missed the rooms are dated but fine The cleaner only did the absolute minimum The food is 3 star always found something to eat . The entertainment was mixed the main problem with the room for the entertainment was the way it was set out the chairs and tables were so tight you couldn't get a seat . Pool area was dated but clean . We had the unfortunate pleasure of being there when a very large group arrived they were loud used bad language and general made it unpleasant for everyone else. That's not the hotels fault. Overall we would go back

Fantastic stay, the rooms were clean and spotless, beds were comfortable. Easy 10 minutes to get to the main bars and shops walking. Food at Hyde park lane was reasonable priced, lots of variety at breakfast and at dinner.We loved breakfast. Pools were clean, we preferred the smaller pool. (Only gripe was the reserving sunbed situation, put your towel out all day and use hardly every. One day no sun beds so kept walking back to room to sunbathe on terrace) Little shop on site not bad pricing. Staff always friendly and helpful from front of house to the cleaners and grounds people. Lovely gardens to walk round. Just a lovely experience and hope to visit again one day.

Absolutely awesome place. The pools are clean and well maintained. The restaurant staff are welcoming,friendly and helpful and the food is very good. The housekeeping staff replace towels and make the beds every other day. It's a 15 min walk to the seafront with all the bars and restaurants inc a couple of Spar shops. Only 10mins on our shuttle from the airport.

Great villas, ours had a personal pool so never used communal ones, though they looked fine. Restaraunt has lovely food and drink, though you will find cheaper down on the seafront which is a ten minute stroll from the complex. Our villa was smart and comfortable. It has its issues, like broken gate, faulty hair dryer & leaky washing machine. But the staff were quick to respond & repair any issues. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! 1 bedroom apartment was lovely, modern with spacious bedroom and well equipped kitchen. We travelled with 2 children at age 11, with one comfortably sleeping on the sofa and another one, yet again comfortably sleeping on the extra bed. Excellent customer service from Esther, Francisco and Santana at the reception desk. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Breakfast is a must! Initially, we were going for a full self-catering option, but quickly changed our minds after just a day at the resort. Gluten free options were available, which was great! We only had one evening meal ( italian themed night) served as a buffet and it was really nice too. Both pools are busy, and sadly, YES, you have to get up early to reserve your sunlounges, otherwise, you have no chance to get one after 9am ( as i found out on the 1st day). Life guard did his best removing towels of no-shows after 10 am ( at the quiet pool), but still, it's just like everywhere else, first come, first served. Beach/ first shop are located around 10 min walk from the resort via main road, which is not ideal but ok. Car rental can be arranged through reception, and its a very simple process with reasonable prices (€55 a day). Grounds of the hotel are beautifully maintained with a number of gardeners looking after them on a daily basis. Although we were unable to arrange a late check out,there is a storage room and you can use a shower facilities to get clean and changed before flying home. Lets not forget the bbq option at your patio. I would suggest to bring aluminium trays and the metal rack/ grill given at the reception is not enough. you can buy coal at the mini market at the hotel for around £5.00. The only negatives are the gym, which is very very basic and cleaning service. Rooms are cleaned every other day, which is ok but sadly its not the best attention to the detail...floors definitely need sweeping first ( also under the sofa bed!) and then mopping properly, especially in the bathroom as you can feel sand everywhere. Also, towels could be a better quality. Overall we had a fantastic stay and we would definitely go back!

Perfect! Highly recommend! Bungalow - spotlessly clean throughout. Floors and bathroom cleaned and towels were changed every other day, bedding changed weekly - more often upon request. Room had all the necessities for a self catering holiday. Service - staff all work exceptionally hard. Main reception staff were all very helpful with requests. Great service from pool bar staff, that was a perfect place for a light snack and ice-creams. Fitness staff very enthusiastic and I enjoyed aqua zumba in the main pool and yoga in the beautiful gardens. Grounds and cleaning staff kept the whole complex immaculate. Facilities - plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The lifeguard was very helpful. Children enjoyed the play areas, table tennis and both pools. Food - pool bar had a range of light meals and snacks. The Hyde Park Salad is delicious! Stayed once for evening meal and the food was lovely (we just prefer to dine out each evening for a change of scenery). Shower facilities and luggage storage were perfect if you have a late flight, so you can continue to use the facilities throughout the day after the checkout time. Location - perfect! Short walk to Los Pocillos seafront. €5 taxi ride to the other side of the Puerto del Carmen strip and a great walk back, either through the hustle and bustle of the shops and bars or cross over the road for a more relaxed seafront walk. €5 taxi ride to Matagorda - a quieter resort - another lovely evening walk back. Lots of car parking spaces around the complex if you choose to hire a car. Thank you for a wonderful stay (August 2024)

Staff really friendly and very attentive. Cleaners made sure everything in our apartment was tidy. Yes rooms basic but was somewhere to relax on a night and get our heads down. Had no problems at this hotel at all. We were at the back near the tennis court really quiet and relaxing very little disturbance would definitely stay here again! So will definitely be back!

Table tennis & pool table. 15 mins walk to the harbour or Strip. The apartment's are looking dated although they are clean. Could do with an update. The pool area is really nice. Some of the Sun beds are not the best. This time of the year there are plenty to go around. Would we come back?? Yes.. bargain basement Holiday that is do- able. Nice chilled out holiday👍

Just back and I really liked it here. It has both positive & negative aspects. Its location is perfect, supermarkets, lidl, restaurants, shopping centre, main night strip all within a ten minutes walk. Fantastic beach 15 minutes away. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only negative is the pool is to cold and rooms need a make-over but there only small things. I would definitely return.

The staff here work very hard and will go out of there way for your needs, the barman is over worked and is working the bar as well as the restaurant downstairs and round the pool. It took 15 minutes to get served at the bar due to no one about to serve, I had to go to reception for them to find the barman. The cleaners also hard working. The rooms are basic but perfectly acceptable but could do with a lick of paint in places to freshen up. Lots of cats roaming around the complex and cat poo in the gardens so wear your footwear. Tennis court turns into a playground for all the kids and some adults so forget about having a game of tennis. *HOWEVER *.......the reason I have given 2 stars is down to the pathetic guests that stay here, between 6am and 7.30 am it's like wacky races when holiday makers bolt to the pool to get there sun lounger, then go back to there rooms or back to bed. One guy went down with 9 towels to claim sun loungers and was not seen at the pool until late afternoon....get a life man !!! This morning ritual should be BANNED ! not once did we get a bed by the pool and we are early risers and did not even get to dip my toe in the pool so we spent the whole holiday outside the complex. I have posted a picture of the pool area at 9.25am where all the beds are taken with towels. I would NEVER return to this complex, in fact I've booked across the road for November as so disappointed with my stay here.

I went to this place in 2018. Rude staff, very poor rooms. Shifted us about to sister hotel because of double booking and lied to us about it. Location is good. Sister hotel is in land, not so good. Horrendous otherwise thought.

This hotel is definitely NOT 4 star. It isn’t even worth a 2 star rating. Booked in for 11 nights, but it’s so diabolical that we’ve booked flights home after just 3 days. The website is deceiving and blatant lying. The hotel is falling apart and dirty with rooms in a disgusting state. The restaurant can only be described as a derelict canteen serving up substandard food not worthy of a soup kitchen. Staff are miserable and not polite and the management of this outfit clearly don’t have a clue about customer service. They are happy to take your cash off you, but what you get in return is a substandard prison like experience. Take heed and don’t be tempted to visit this place. The website is a blatant misrepresentation , borderline untruthful. In addition, outside the hotel, there is nothing worth visiting unless you want to sit in a bar all day long drinking.

We did not actually stay in any of these apartments. These are rental apartments overlooking the beach and promenade. The wall facing the beach is covered in these Azaleas. They are classic old style but very pretty as viewed from outside. The sign outside suggests mostly German owned holiday rental homes.

I can only describe this hotel as adequate. It's a little dilapidated but has all the basic amenities and the layout is good. It's small so the food selection isn't great and the quality wasn't great either. The location is good with easy access to the beach and shops/restaurants nearby. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. For a budget holiday it's fine.

Rooms very dark, otherwise fit for purpose. It is not the biggest selection of food, but we have said that isn't a bad thing. Food is good for what is on offer. I'm not impressed that drinks ( tea and coffee) are extra at evening meal. Grounds tidy. Kids with huge inflatables should be banned from lower pool as there are two others. Otherwise, it's better than expected. Would we stay again? Yes, definitely.

Lovely large complexe, with 3 separate pool areas although we only used the one nearest to the block we were staying in. Lovely restaurant with buffet style so you can pick and choose what you want with the menu being in reception in the morning so you can plan accordingly. 10 min walk from 2 beaches, and a stones throw away from shops and restaurants. Whilst there is 2 wheel chair ramps at the entrance one to get up the main entrance steps and one to get into the reception, I didn't see any access in the mansion side of the complex, with stairs from the poolside up to the rooms, and access to the restaurant being by stairs.

Great location, close to the resort centre, rooms could do with a bit of a revamp and no aircon so can get a bit warm. Great shared facilities with the Nazaret apartamentos. Safes free in the rooms, which is handy. Large 10kg washing machine and dryer available for use in the tunnel area between the two apartment blocks for €4 as are lockable left luggage lockers. Showers are available in the tunnel too to use before heading home.

Glad we trusted the positive reviews. We arrived at about 12:30 and our room was ready. The pools are lovely, the rooms have all you need, and there's a laundry room too (you do have to pay which is fair). Staff were friendly and helpful, couldn't have been nicer. The location is great, near beaches, restaurants, and shops. Taxi rank and bus stop right outside. The location itself is surprisingly quiet but my only negative is the noise in the room. If you have noisy people next door like we did you'll want some earplugs. It's a clean place that's good value for money and would suit most people. Overall would definitely recommend.

Hotel has a good location away from any hustle and has a spacious and free parking right in front of it. Those who are not comming by car might struggle to get to a nearest bust stop as the main road is quite far away, but that is the price for being in a rural area. Hotel consists of small villas, ours had 3 rooms, but as every villa looks the same from the outside, I guess it is a standard. Place is spacious, with private terrace, ours had sea view, which added nice touch to a morning coffee. The rooms are showing signs of age and wear, the furniture is old and the beds are far from being comfortable and are noisy as they are spring-based. The hotel's staff members are a welcoming and accommodating. Throughout our stay, they consistently displayed a warm and helpful attitude, which added a positive touch to our experience. Hotel has a swimming pool and while it is not extraordinary, the swimming pool area served its purpose. One downside was the children's pool as it was closed during our stay. There is also a children's playground, but it consists of only a basic equipment. There is also a restaurant and a bar but we didn't attend either. One of the neat features of this hotel is its access to a oceanfront promenade, allowing us to take strolls by the ocean and enjoy breathtaking views of waves hitting the cliffs and sunsets.

Great place on the water with spaced out villas and a central pool with restaurant. The included breakfast was great. Location is away from the main area of town, great if you have a car or want peace and quiet. Staff helpful too. Our room had a slightly leaky roof in one room which wasn't a problem as there is little rain on the island. Stove top was not strong enough to cook quickly if you are self catering. All up a really enjoyable stay.

Great wee find of a complex. Beautiful vistas and walks along the sea front. Not far to local cafes, bars and shop. Staff are Great, especially Carlos who managers the dining area. As this complex is self catering would suggest you ensure you get juice, milk, tea and coffee for the villa. Dinner is limited but very tasty and good choice of meat and fish with plenty of salad. Remember you have to pay for any drinks including tea and coffee with your evening meal.

Stayed here for 10 days in March. It is located by the coast, with nice sea views. The resort is a bit further away from the centre of Playa Blanca (10 minutes taxi ride), but it meant that we had peace and quiet. The place was very basic, but had everything we needed to have a comfortable visit. Great cleanliness within the villa as well as the surrounding areas, with a daily cleaning service provided. The staff were friendly and helped us with any queries we had. One negative thing would be the beds…they were very hard and uncomfortable! But overall, we had a decent stay.

“The House of cucaracha” The villas look very nice on pictures but don’t get fooled. The whole complex is old and it shows. The villa where we were accommodated had very old /rusty kitchen, the fridge was dirty, the beds were not very comfortable,the bedsheets and the duvets were dirty ( something brownish like blood). The vila as well as the surroundings were dirty / moldy/rusty. There were cigarette buds around the vila. But the worst were the cockroaches - elephant sized cockroach welcomed us 1st night in the bathroom. One night, we had to kill 7 cockroaches. We didn’t feel safe at all. The explanation of the staff was - “You know, Australia has kangaroos, we have cucarachas. They are very common here.” But it was not completely truth, as we were also accommodated at a different place and there were exactly 0 of them. Apart from that, the place is very quite and what we appreciated was the ocean view. The breakfast was also tasty and the staff was nice. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who is afraid of insects or who would like to enjoy active night life.

Really enjoyed our stay here last week. Apartments are clean and comfortable, nice pool area and again kept very clean, plenty of available sunbeds when we were there. There's a great little pool bar for food and drinks during the day all reasonably priced and very good quality, bar is run by Nelly who works really hard to keep everyone fed and watered, he's a star. All staff and cleaners are super friendly and work really hard to keep everything spotless, always smiling and say hello. Approx 5 to 10 mins walk to the bars and restaurants in Matagorda so in a convenient location, we would stay here again.

Two words describe Apartamentos Villa Canaima "Absolutely Fabulous". The apartment and grounds were spotlessly clean. The reception staff were courteous and helpful. The cleaning staff were friendly and efficient. The barman in the poolside bar was great and the food and drink was very reasonably priced. The location of the apartments was ideal, away from the hustle and bustle but within a short walk of plenty of shops and restaurants. The only negative I could mention is that the kitchen hob had only two rings so you may struggle to prepare a gourmet meal if thats what you're in to. We will definitely stay here again

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Villa Canaima. The complex is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The room was spacious and extremely well equipped. The balcony overlooking the pool was fantastic. The lady at reception was so kind and even let us keep our room past the check out time, to save us having to store our luggage. Nelly provides a great service at the poolside bar, with excellent cocktails and great food. I would highly recommend Villa Canaima and we would definitely book here again when returning to Lanzarote.

Great experience at Villa Canaima! The apartment was clean and larger than expected, there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets, lots of storage, multiple available lounge chairs at the pool, and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. The WiFi was fast, and the staff were all very friendly and helped book a taxi to the airport, which arrived right on time. The kitchen was stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, etc. as well as a 2 ring hob, microwave, and full size fridge. The only thing I’d suggest would be to replace the pans as the non stick coating had been scratched off and perhaps include some salt and butter in the kitchen, and hand soap in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, with a nice firm mattress, and it was nice and quiet at night. The air conditioning in the bedroom took a while to cool the room down but I slept well once I learned to turn it on in advance. Self check in was easy and straightforward and the biggest perks were definitely the location and option for late check out. The complex is just a 5 minute walk from the nearest beach, 7 minutes from a little supermarket, and 5 minutes from the Matagorda Ida bus stop (which you can take to Pocillos beach and along Puerto del Carmen). Overall, great value and I would definitely recommend :)

Another 5 Star holiday at Villa Canaima. Just back from another visit to Matagorda. Stayed yet again at Villa Canaima. Keep going back to this fantastic little spot. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Fantastic location. Great to see some of the same people back again. It's becoming a home away from home. Icing on the cake is Nelly's bar. Amazing service from Nelly made a huge difference this year being able to get some food and the "odd" drink until 6 or 7pm. Have already booked 2 weeks for next year. Can't wait to go back. Really is a gem of a place but like everyone that comes and stays here they almost want to keep it on the downlow so they can make sure they can get a place again. I'm summary another 5 star break in this little 2 star resort. But dont tell anyone about it Thanks to Lisset, Nelly and all the staff for your amazing service. See you next year
