This hotel I will not recommend to anyone, the rooms were very outdated, yellow appliances due to them being so old. The rooms were cleaned often but not thoroughly, bedding was only half changed all week. You also have to pay deposit for a hairdryer, fans, etc. The food was awful, pretty much the same food everyday At a very low standard. Very limited food at the snack bar also. Some staff memebers were friendly but the others were rude. There is one bar staff in particular that is extremely rude, My daughter (who is 2) injured herself, I had asked for some tissues due to her bleeding to be greeted with the dirtiest look and was in no rush to help. Followed on from that he then explain to my 4 year old nephew that my daughter had hurt herself because she was running around and playing up. Which infact she was not, an innocent 2 year old dancing to the music at the entertainment, which where she was dancing the floor had deep cracks/tiles missing. Despite this barman the lady who I assume runs the entertainment was very helpful and reassuring in this situation. If you have a larger family, expect to not be picked up at your given time by a taxi, neither the staff nor taxi company give a care in the world about it. Overall I wouldn’t recommend & I won’t be returning

If you're looking for a peaceful holiday with good food, then this hotel is not for you. We went all-inclusive and found that the food selection was the worst and of low quality. The bar staff were very rude and even messed up basic menu orders. After 9 hours of travel, we arrived at the hotel at 11 at night due to delays, we were thirsty but were shouted at by the bar staff when we asked for water, being told that we had to pay extra for it as the all-inclusive ended at 11. The breakfast meals were simple and acceptable but not the best, and we heard many other visitors also complaining about the food while we ate. The food options were so bad that I'm glad my kids weren't with me, as they would have starved at lunch and evening meals. On our last day, the food options were so bad that we left the hotel and went to the Indian restaurant at the end of the street, where we had an amazing meal there and we found that we were not the first from the hotel to have the same idea. Others from our hotel were there and were also talking about the bad food choices at the hotel. As for the room, the television channels in English were all blanked out, so only Spanish channels were available, providing no entertainment in the room. The walls are paper-thin, so you can hear everyone next to you, above and below, with every movement, door bangs, and kids running around. The beds were so hard that they felt like the floor might have been more comfortable (wish I had tried this now), giving us a holiday of bad sleep, bad food, and rude staff. I will never return to this hotel and advise others to avoid it like the plague.

Absolutely impeccable service and worth every penny. ;€3 taxi ride to the centre as I'm not great at walking. The hotel always save our room for us and are so attentive to our needs. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food is different every day and cooked well. We love this hotel and in January 2025 will be our 5th visit we will not go anywhere else.

We had a great holiday with our 20 year old youngest son. Everything you could expect of 3* hotel property wise. The staff are what make the difference. Sam was brilliant with the guests in the entertainment. The bar staff especially Claire & Hamaz, with his few words in most languages stood out. The restaurant staff coped admirably despite having a number of youth teams staying for a local tournament. Food is plentiful with lots of choice, fish abundant. Cleaning staff do great work, rooms done every other day, pool area scrubbed & pool hoovered & cleaned every morning. Reception were friendly & helpful. Our stay was end of May.

Just came back after a week. For the price of a week here it was brilliant. Reasonable priced but amazing service. From arriving and the reception staff to the hard working cleaning staff. The food was great, something different every day to suit all tastes. The staff work tirelessly and are always on hand to help. Always smiling and friendly. A short walk to all the amenities and a great bus service if you want to go further. Definitely worth a visit. 😀🌴☀️

I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here it is very dated and poorly maintained, with no English TV channels and no air conditioning. The rooms at night are very hot. The only bonus is the outdoor space attached to your room with table and chairs and sunbeds. Other than that, a big no from us it is dirty and everything is either old or broken

Firstly this review is based on the fact that this was a very cheap deal from the u.k. and the value has been taken into consideration. Our transfer arrived around 10p.m. and reception was open until midnight most days. The gentleman at reception was welcoming and helpful anytime we needed information. The layout of the complex is ideal for families and people with mobility issues due to the flat area and open pool areas. The bungalows are very spacious and easily could suit 3 people. Our beds were singles but of a type that made a double easily when pushed together. There was a large wardrobe in the bedroom too, so far so good. The bathroom was spacious and had an over bath shower. Although nice and clean it was very worn with rust on the tubs in areas where you could rub against it and possibly cut yourself. The window was held on by secondary hinges (which worked fine) but the originals were left on to rust as well. The water pressure was good and temperature easily adjusted. The kitchenette worked perfectly with a 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster and microwave which were all clean and worked perfectly. The cupboard units were in fairly poor shape but some simple adjustments would tidy up the old units easily. The other furnishings were dated but perfectly suitable and safe. The TV had lots of channels and if you know what you're doing a few can be converted to English sound. We used the radio stations mostly. Our balcony, like all the rest was a highlight with a table and chairs and 2 adjustable sun loungers. There was also plenty space for it all without getting crowded at all. There is a small walled area at the back of each bungalow with washing lines. An added bonus. There were NO cockroaches at all in may. If you leave any food or spilled drinks on the floor then you will attract ants though so just keep it clean. There are some semi-ferral cats that keep pests away and the grey tabby is very approachable! I used the pools every day. They are not heated but not too cold. The pool guys are out every morning but you have to allow for some leaves etc getting blown in due to the location. The outer ring could do with a deep clean purely for aesthetics but I found the pools perfectly safe. The area around the pools has ample sun loungers, a shaded area near the lifeguard, table tennis and a pool table. It's not perfect but suited us as a couple who travel regularly with a mobility scooter. Keep your expectations reasonable and if you have a serious issue inform reception. We would book again due to the budget, location, peacefulness and accessibility. We would like to see the bathrooms properly maintained or renovated though. Locally there is a Bar next door that shows sports and provides German themed snacks, a couple of convenience stores, popular bars and restaurants, kebab takeaway, a large Spar, Car hire. All within 5 minutes walk. The beach is just 200metres down a slope from reception. You can use the promenade to walk all the way to the lighthouse on the right or the Marina on the left. Great location.

Nice bungalow with good facilities within it. Very clean with obvious cleaning team throughout the day. Nice location close to beach and walking distance to restaurants and bars. Good service and very helpful.

Very spacious bungalow, the grounds are very well maintained, some of the things are a bit dated, but everything was super clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Pool is a nice bonus, also there was a ping pong and pool tables. The best thing is the location, it is only a 2 min walk to a great beach. The center and supermarkets are also close by. I’m sure it is hard to find something for a better value in this area, if you are not looking for something special. Staff was very helpful. Would come back

Good size rooms , 2 pools to choose from and a pool bar open all day . A free bus at 11 and a pick up at 4 for the main beach. Great place to stay although be prepared to walk 25+ minutes to the centre outside of the bus times, but cabs are available from around 4 euros .

The apartment itself was quite nice and roomy. Decor abit outdated but will suffice. Beds were quite firm and not comfortable at all. The view we had was very nice overlooking the ocean. A 20-30 walk required into town centre/seafront but this means its relatively quiet around the area which we liked. Overall was nice and friendly service but the on site restaurant isnt the best and no convenience store at the complex. There seemeed to be a domestic issue with screams and bangs at 2am+ after the euro final which was a little unsettling. In summary I would recommend but would not necessarily come back.

Costa Teguise is beautiful! The hotel was great for the price. In a quiet area but not too far for a supermarket. 30 minute walk (with 2 kids) to the main beach with a free bus twice a day. Pool cleaned daily with plenty of sun beds. First time self catering with the kids and we had everything we needed.

BOOK ANY OTHER HOTEL!! Really pathetic place, the staff was absolutely unbothered by our demands about non existing WiFi, we had to told him what to do (call the technician, he didn't think in that) and he even followed us to the room to make sure. There is not even soap or shampoo. You have to pay for clean towels. (3-4€) There is no security, any, just the reception staff looking outside and that's it. No elevator 3 floors every time we had to do anything. The freezer didn't work. The sofas were dirty, the room was empty. Furniture of the 18th century Book any other Hotel please, you'll thank us.

This was our third visit to these apartments. A very small, adult only complex comprising of about 24 apartments. They are very basic studio apartments, an open plan kitchen/bedroom with a bathroom. Nearly all the apartments have either a terrace or balcony over looking the small unheated pool. There are about 12 sun loungers situated around the pool and my only complaint was the early morning sunbed baggers, who would put towels out, then go out for a good few hours preventing other people from using them. We stayed for three weeks and saw a big turnover of guests and they all seemed to want to do it. The apartments themselves are dated with very basic cooking equipment and utensils. A 2 ring hob and a microwave. 3 forks, 3 knives and 3 spoons. 3 cups, plates and 2 bowls. You can ask for more apparently but we managed. The apartments are serviced with a basic clean and towel change once a week and a more thorough clean, bedding and towel change once a week. It’s clean and the beds are very comfy and very quiet at night. We don’t need much moreVery close to the strip, within walking distance of lovely restaurants, bars and the beach, just in case you don’t get up early enough to bag a sunbed. The staff are lovely and assist as much as they can. It ticks all the boxes for us despite being basic. We will definitely return.

I recommend Las Lilas 100%. Intimate, quiet and peaceful. Great owner and nice service. Closest shop across the street another 5 minute walk. Beach, restaurants and bus stop 3 minutes away. Rooms clean and properly equipped. A small disadvantage is the lack of a jug. I highly recommend Las Lilas, the proof is that I returned there after 4 months for another vacation. Best regards and see you in May ☺️

We spent 3 nights there and it was perfect: clean, well equipped with everything needed (especially the Moka, for Italians), the host was very kind and available for every need. The location was also good, 3 mins by foot to reach the beach and all the restaurants/pubs in the center. The pretty pool is perfect to chill and enjoy the place. We loved it.

Lovely apartments, we had app 114 which has mobility scooter accessibility. Pool is rather cold as it doesnt get much sun but is very refreshing! Good size, very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back in the not to distant future. If i was being picky i would say that some areas could do with a little more cleaning but it was more than good. It was my birthday while we were here and i was given a lovely bottle of freixenet as a surprise, which i thought was very sweet of them.

This was a bit of a budget holiday and I didn’t expect too much, however, upon arrival I knew this was going to be a difficult hotel to enjoy. I booked all inclusive, which for this hotel is used in the loosest term possible, snacks are not included, most drinks are not included and if you wish to use WiFi or any other service, they’re only available as a paid extra. The swimming pool is extremely unclean, most of the tiles from the sides and its floor are missing and the “lifeguard” is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard, if he isn’t snoozing he is telling children off for using inflatable pool toys… in the pool! This rule baffled me as there is no particular reason but they are apparently banned and may only be used in the baby pool, absolutely ridiculous. The flooring around the pool is a disgrace, it is uneven and is just made up of grit, which just ends up in the pool, adding to the uncleanliness. The rooms are extremely outdated, the light fittings did not work, the balcony had cracks in, as did the exterior wall. I have never “slept” in such an uncomfortable bed, the mattress may as well have been formed out of bricks and razor wire! The food on the first 2 days was reasonable, however the quality quickly went downhill, most of what was served was inedible and it was a bit of a guessing game as to what meat was being served as it wasn’t labelled and tasted of pure shoe leather. The pool bar/hotel just lacks in any sort of atmosphere, the bar will happily play the same 10 songs on repeat through muffled speakers all day long - we were even treated to the odd Christmas song! A lot of the staff came across as rude and it was clear they certainly didn’t want to be there nor did they wish to help. I’m all for getting what you pay for and if you buy cheap you get cheap, but I feel that the very basics here are just not being met which is an awful shame, you can securely see this used to be a great budget hotel, it just needs a renovation… a big one! Proceed with caution if booking this hotel, my advice would be to look elsewhere.

I went to this hotel with my partner, a 2yo and a 3yo. We throughly enjoyed it. The room was spacious and I liked the little houses on the hill. There was a nice view from the terrace. The pool was very very spacious, we mostly saw tony pools in Lanzarote. The food was fine, there was variety, and we were never ill. A couple of nights we had fun with the hotel's entertainment. The staff was friendly and helpful. Downsides: the room was not regularly cleaned (as it was stated), we had to ask the reception to send the cleaner and it was hardly cleaned. We saw some cockroaches in the room. The forth bed was a couch, quite hard and fairly uncomfortable.

I don't know where to start. The hotel is not bad, it is old, but it does need remodeling, but what I like most apart from the location is the staff. They are all incredible, starting with the receptionists Fer and Jonathan, always attentive to everything we needed. The food is not bad, although it is true that there could be more variety, especially in the desserts, because every night it was the same, but I am not complaining. Now, the waiters are all incredible, highlighting Natalia, Angel and Juver, very kind and familiar. And finally, Jonathan, the animation guy, a lovely person, I loved the way he addressed the children, always cheerful and attentive. I am not giving the hotel 5 stars because it is true that it has aspects to improve in terms of the building, but for the rest, incredible.

I've just spent a week here. Couldn't ask for more for the money. Great buffet food (breakfast for the week at just over €20), lovely staff (special mention to Carol on reception) and very very reasonably priced. 2 seconds from the harbour (and the harbour bar for a wee dance) and great sunsets over the mountains. And of course that sea view...

The hotel was overall okay however the apartment we stayed in was quite outdated and had a funky smell to it. The walls in the kitchen walls infested with ants, we brought this up to reception and nothing was done about it. The room quite small and stuffy and the mattress had a hole in it and the spring would dig into my back at night. The shower curtain spelled like rotten eggs, and the shower head didn’t spray water on you just straight at the wall as the shower head holder was broken.The apartment had no air conditioning just a fan that done pretty much nothing.The food was okay but not much options especially for fussy eaters. No lifts in the apartment or inside stairs so would need to walk in the scorching heat to get back to the apartment and had to faff about with the door handle to get in as it was on its last legs and it’s not a pleasant experience when your stood in the heat sweating trying to get into the apartment at the top floor.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. It’s really easy to book a taxi as you just ask at reception and it comes within minutes. The pool is lovely and deep as well as quite cold which is perfect for the heat. Food was edible but nothing spectacular. Our room was not the room shown in the photos and were were at the back of the hotel on the ground floor, we expected an apartment but were given a bedroom/bathroom. We had several cockroaches enter our room which is to be expected for ground floor however our room absolutely stank when we arrived and didn’t stop smelling until it was cleaned again after two days and quickly returned later that evening, we think it may have been the drains. The pool and pool area was lovely but definitely not enough sun bed for everyone and no umbrellas. There is no aircon and we had to pay €20 euro to use the safe plus a €10 deposit. The location is very hilly and about a 20 minute walk away from the nearest beach. All in all we had a lovely time and could not fault the staff at all but the bedroom did let it down in the end, however we would consider staying here again purely because the pool area and staff were lovely and for the price it’s definitely worth a visit. Alex and Jesus were very welcoming and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage and have somewhere to stay even after check out whilst waiting for transfers with the offer of continuing the all inclusive for 10€.

Just spent 10 days in this hotel. After a little blip at the start were our room wasnt ready and we got sent to a different hotel I found this hotel to be good. Nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews say. Food was edible lots of choices to pick from we had a fussy eater with us and she always found something to eat. Pool was clean. All staff friendly and welcoming. Rooms cleaned every two days. It is a little out of the way and up and down a few hills however its a nice walk to and from the strip if you're able. Only downside was the beds but to be honest I'm yet to find a comfortable hotel bed. I'd go to this hotel again and would recommend it. Cheap and Cheerful.

Booked this as a last minute holiday. The pictures certainly look better than the hotel it self. Was greeted by Jesus, who was quite abrupt and short with us, really felt more like we were bothering him, not very welcoming. Don’t even get me started on the bedrooms, the worst sleep I have ever had, just squeaky and hard as a rock, not to mention the green throws that had questionable marks on them and pillows as thin and hard as pavement. The towels were changed, however they were full of holes. And no one had changed our bed in 5 days we were there. And if you are put on the ground floor, you’ll be very close to the street, where you’ll hear everything and be awoken all hours of the night. Location is very convenient, but I would definitely not choose this hotel again. I would really suggest spending your hard earned money on a place you’ll thoroughly enjoy.

Will say that some reviews are harsh but I do understand. Stayed here for a week from 2-9th July and the staff were very very helpful with us. We had a bit of an instance with some men who were being a little weird with me and my friend but the staff dealt with it very appropriately. The rooms are a little outdated but they were clean. Our only issue was that we were on the ground floor on a terraced area so we did have a couple lizards and cockroaches come in though I think this could have been from leaving the back door open. Would have liked a window in the bathroom for ventilation but overall was an alright room. Food was average, there was something to eat for everyone with some variety over the days and the restaurant staff were good at cleaning tables quickly. Think for anyone planning on going here, it’s a very very uphill walk to get anywhere so do bare that in mind. If you’re into clubbing, the clubs aren’t great but bars have a good atmosphere. Only around 3-4 euros for a taxi to the main strip.

This was booked last minute £360 each all inclusive and was great value for money. The room was good and cleaned every 2 days with fresh towels. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun beds. The all inclusive drinks were fine and run from 10.30 am to 11 p.m. The food was OK and what do people expect for such a cheap holiday? There is a 15 minute walk up a hill from the old town but it's only 3.50 euros in a taxi. Would definitely return for a last minute cheeky holiday.

Excellent, the apartments all face the sea, they are clean, you get fresh towels every two days and clean sheets every week. They are really quick to respond to any problems. Really quiet, small and friendly. We love it and will definitely go back again ♥️

Nice hotel for our week stay, we'll equipped apartments, wifi was OK bit of a pain you can only have 3 devices connected and having to keep signing in. The Tv was OK with a few english channels, not a smart tv. The shower had good pressure, nice and hot. The beds were too soft for us. The cleaning was super, cleaning called daily to check or ask if we required anything. Our room had a great sea view and was on 2nd floor by stairs only. Which wasn't an issue for us. Great location 5 minutes from shops bars and restaurants. 10 minutes from airport Which is €20 ish in taxi.

We were given this apartment complex as an alternative to the one we had originally booked, in January 2022 this was due to COVID-19 causing us to postpone our holiday to the end of September. We have to say we are glad we did. The complex is small, only 28 apartments, very clean and extremely quiet. It is located a very short walk from all amenities and the beach. There is a small spare just over the road or if you would rather an Aldi a 5 min walk away. The cleaning ladies were very friendly and we had regular clean towels and our bedding changed once per week. No there is no air conditioning but with all the benefits of peace and quiet in a clean and safe environment who cares. Would highly recommend a we will be back.

Brilliant hotel staff are very helpful and do what the can for you while you are staying there. Brilliant facilities. We upgraded to a 2 room apartment and the apartment was massive and well worth the extra money. I cant comment on the food as we didn't eat in the hotel. The location isn't the best right at the top of a BIG hill and about a 10-15 minute walk to the main strip if you want to walk if you don't there is a taxi rank right outside the main doors with them coming quit regularly and only costing around €3 to the strip . There are also a few bar and restaurants on the BIG hill near the hotel and also a supermarket right near the hotel with everything you could need. I will definitely recommend this hotel and would go back again.

Spent an expensive night here this week after my 'not so easy jet' airline cancelled our flight at the last minute and insisted we must book a 3 star hotel. No working air con in either room and no other rooms available. When I reported that the air-con was not working I got a sympathetic shrug from the nice girl on the reception and advised to open the windows and doors. To be fair, the next morning when checking out there was workmen including an air-conditioning engineer running about the place so looks like the air con issue was more widespread then just our rooms so I wish they had advertised that to us that they had issues. So hopefully for the next poor souls to go there may be not so hot in the rooms. The rooms are tired and basic but the beds comfortable. Overall not very clean with someone else's hair and litter still on the floor in our room. I would not stay again and had I known about the air con issue would not have gone there at all. Did not eat there so cannot judge that and the late night entertainment went on till about 1am was overly loud and an out of tune poor quality singer which is fine if you like low ball cabaret but not for us. For the price we paid (£150 plus per night per room), not worth it even as a same day booking. I am sure it is much cheaper as a package holiday. It probably is a 3 star hotel as seems to have the appropriate functions but that does not always mean nice environment.

So far so good. I'm part way through a ten day stay whilst diving. The staff are super helpful & friendly and the place is spotlessly clean. The pool area us great and there is entertainment on an evening. The breakfast offering is buffet style and everything is great. The walk into the old town takes about 15 minutes but it us a bit of a steep pull back up. Overall very happy

We have just come home from the most amazing holiday here! We were greeted warmly by Sara who’s name badge i made sure to remember as she was so lovely and made whole experience amazing! It was myself and my boyfriends first time travelling alone, but she put us at ease straight away and gave us plenty of suggestions on activities as well as directions to the town. Thank You Sara for being so welcoming and lovely! The room was immaculate and there were plenty of facilities to use on site and within the room. The kitchen came with all utensils all ready to use. We asked for our room to not be cleaned as we prefer to do this ourselves however we still had fresh towels and toilet paper delivered on the daily which was a nice touch. The hotel is stunning with well kept gardens and a quiet atmosphere. We stayed on the other side of the road and it was pure bliss! There was never more than 4 people in the pool at a time and it was peaceful at night. The hotel is a close walk to the old and new town, we went out atleast twice a day and found we could be where we wanted in 10-15 mins. The hotel also offers free buses to and from the beach.

It's a very nice hotel. Very friendly/helpful staff and extremely clean. Two large pools and a kiddies pool. Lifeguards on duty from morning to 5.30pm. Our rooms were cleaned every day. Bed sheets changed twice a week, and beds made every day. We were there in the 1st two weeks of June '24, and the restaurant was under reconstruction. It is adjacent to the main pool. The noise was unreal, and continued all day every day, throughout our stay. We weren't given this information when booking. There is not a lot of room around the pools if you don't get there early, to sunbathe.

Apartments are bright, clean and very spacious, such a quiet complex yet just a couple of minutes walk to promenade and strip with so many restaurants and bars to choose from, definitely booking a return visit for next year, nicos restaurant is part of the complex, and a must visit when you stay, also the pool bar for the breakfast

Cannot fault this place. The room was really spacious and very clean. Lovely quiet pool area with a very nice bar that serves food, beer, and snacks. If you walk out the back door and turn right, you're on the main strip in 1 minute. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, and we had great night sleeps. The room we had overlooked the pool and you could also see the sea. We could also see the sunset. Can't wait to go back. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Affordable option well-located with nearby bars, supermarket across the road, bus stop and a few minutes to the beach. It is on a slope with some steps to apartments, so I would not recommend it if you have accessibility requirements. The room was very clean, self-catered and had the basics; hairdryer, kettle, ceiling fans. Extras such as standing fans/air conditioning cost extra and can be ordered in advance. Pool area was nice, but number of sunbeds is limited and continued to be taken up by other guests who were out all day! You have to ask the lifeguard to remove towels for 'reserved' sunbeds which is annoying. Nice poolside bar with reasonable prices (linked to local restaurant, so restaurant prices), but you can bring your own beverages to the poolside I believe. Pools were small but sufficient and deep. Overall a pleasant short and affordable stay. If you want room service and air conditioning included, you will need to go up a star!

Our two families had a lovely time at Lomo Blanco and made lots of happy memories. It’s relatively clean and the food is good at the pool bar. We struggled to have a good nights sleep without air con and a broken bed was replaced quickly and without fuss. We would come back again.

We stayed for a week in a ground floor apartment. The rooms are nice and spacious, although perhaps a bit dated. They could do with a lick of paint. The kitchen has everything you need to make basic meals (if you wanted to). Each apartment comes with a fan, which works fine but air conditioning would be a bonus. We felt the bedrooms were very hot at night. The evening breeze in Lanzarote is a blessing to cool down a hot apartment. We opted to have breakfast with our stay. The offering is limited, but sufficient and the food is nice. The breakfast staff were always friendly especially with our child. Lomo Blanco is located at the top of a steep hill. It’s worth keeping this in mind if you have mobility issues. Having said that most of Puerto Del Carmen is up a hill from the sea front. The apartments are generally on the ground floor and first floor with most of them surrounding the pool area. This was a particularly nice feature about the place. The only downside which we felt tarnished our holiday a little was the sun bed situation. On a few mornings we were awake at 6am and there were guests reserving sun beds. By 8:30am there is usually non left. Whilst I can’t fault anyone for waking up early to pick the best beds, most of them were empty until at least 10am. Sometimes people would put their towel on a bed and not return until the afternoon. The hotel doesn’t allow this, but they don’t actually stop people from reserving beds. There is free Wi-Fi which does often drop out, but it’s sufficient. Overall we did enjoy our stay and to spite the sun bed situation we would visit again.

Stayed here last week the hotel its self is nice with a nice clean bar/resturant. The hotel staff were helpful we arrived at a busy time and they seemed slightly stressed out. We were told our room won't be ready until around half 1 and 2pm so went for a few drinks on the beech front. Came back around 3 to be told the room still wasn't ready. Once we finally were able to check into our apartment we found it to be nice and spacious. The only negative I would say was after a long day of travelling we both wanted a shower only to find the shower tray to have loads of hair in it and trapped in the plug hole and was quite dirty. But other than that we enjoyed our stay. The pool area and bar is nice and serve not bad food and drink.

First time at this place and it's really nice, seen some negative reviews and cannot understand why... People crying about no air conditioning in rooms but it's lanzarote... open the windows and let the air blow through.. Location is lovely, cleaners in each day, rooms updated and very nice. Pool area lovely, nice little pool bar which also does food, all you can eat breakfast for about 8euro. Short walk around corner up the hill to the hyperdyno supermarket for your extra needs, short walk down stairs to the front promenade. Would easy come back to this place.

This is our second stay at Lomo Blanco and won’t be the last we absolutely loved it. Rooms are clean and spacious, they do miss having air conditioning though as the floor fan was useless during the night. Choice of two pools also a bonus as we used the quiet smaller one at the back. Pool bar really good food too and can’t forget the resident Parakeets they became our best friends over the week even hand feeding lol!

Lovely Budget Apartments We stayed at Apartamentos Livvo Oasis from Wednesday 5th June - Wednesday 12th June. We stayed as a family of 3; myself, my partner and our 1 year old daughter. Initially, it was just me and my partner due to come, but we added our 1 year old to the booking later on. The staff were happy to accommodate her, free of charge with a cot in our room on arrival. We arrived with no air con, and my partner enquired about this at reception. Unfortunately, silly me didn't choose the superior room. So if you're like me, and are not very good at reading, there are two options of rooms: • Standard Apartment - no air conditioning • Superior Apartment - with air conditioning. Although we had no air conditioning, we rented a fan for €20 euros, and this was fine for our stay in June. It was roughly 26-28C during the holiday. The apartment was well equipped, especially the kitchen; cutlery, plates, cups, pans, toaster, coffee machine, fridge-freezer & kettle. You can rent a microwave, an iron and ironing board. The room and the entire hotel is equipped with Wi-Fi. You can choose the free option which is up to 1Mbs or a Premium Wi-Fi of €1 per day. This is higher speeds than the free WiFi. I had no issue with the free Wi-Fi. The cleaners come and clean your room five times a week. They do not clean on Monday's or Friday's. Bedding is changed once a week and towels twice a week. The cleaners are very friendly, and they do a geeat job; the apartment was spotlessly clean. Our first night, my partner and I only had one pillow each, which wasn't enough for us, and we had a bit of back ache in the morning. We requested an extra pillow each, which was provided free of charge. The bed is two singles pushed together to make a super king bed. The bed is firm but comfy. The hotel and bedroom is relatively quiet. We only had issues with the apartment above us. They kept coming back at roughly 1-2am and they were banging furniture around and slamming doors. It did wake us up but this is not the hotels fault. With the hotel having 55 apartments, it is a relatively quiet place overall. This is perfect for us, as we do not like overcrowded, busy hotels. I have seen reviews about the pool being overcrowded and there is a fight for sun beds, but we didn't have this problem at all during our stay. We turned up to the pool midday on several ocassions. We did, however, visit in an off peak time. Although the hotel does cater for young children, we do feel like this hotel is more suited to groups of friends and couples aged anywhere between 20-60. We only saw a couple of other children at the hotel during our stay, and the main atmosphere was couples and friends here to have a few drinks, have a good time and soak up some sun. The saltwater pool area is deep, and shallow area was nice enough for our toddler, but it wasn't shallow enough for her to stand, or for me to swim comfortable with her. This is not a complaint of ours, as we initially booked as a couple, but more of a recommendation for prospective holiday makers. The pool bar serves drinks and food. My partner disliked the full English, but the pizza was nice enough. We didn't each much at the pool bar, as we mainly prepared food in our kitchenette. The drinks at the bar were nice and refreshing. The only big gripe we had and hence we have knocked it down a star, was the pool was freezing cold, and it was a struggle to be in the pool. I would have loved to take our daughter in the pool more, but she made it clear that she was cold everytime we took her in. There were quite a few complaints by other holiday makers too, and the pool wasn't used much for this reason. I could understand during colder months, but as we were staying in June with days hitting almost 30C, I think the pool needed to be warmer. We spent a couple of days down on the beach, and we found the sea was warmer than the pool.. Overall, I would say these are great budget apartments to stay at. We enjoyed our first holiday abroad as a family.

The reception staff was very nice and helpful the rooms were well maintained and clean as was the hotel grounds. We would definitely stay here again.

Airport bus drops off at Casino e1.40 each for a single and picks up at stop 5 mins behind hotel for return trip. No need to take taxi!!

Close enough to be within walking distance of the beach, bars & restaurants but far enough away for decent sleep. The rooms have recently been renovated & they & the pools are kept clean. We recently came back from spending 7 days at this hotel and it was genuinely lovely, I would definitely return in the future. Reception was lovely and welcoming and was very modern and the staff on the desk were always pleasant and helpful. Rooms were very clean and modern and exactly what you’d want. Towels and beds were made every 2 days and all staff were pleasant. Sunbeds were a bit of a game with people leaving towels all day but could be easily reserved if you’re waiting at 5 to 9. Onsite supermarket is really good price wise and extremely useful with a wide range of products. Really happy with my experience at this hotel and would recommend highly.

Place was clean and well maintained. Pool areas kept spotless. Only downside was the sunbeds by 9am all had towels on and often not used till later in the day. We went to the beach most days as we prefer it. Might be a challenge if you want the pool though. Staff friendly and the rooms are well appointed with everything you could need. Bedrooms come with efficient air conditioning. Onsite supermarket great for basics but not a huge choice. Overall nice place to stay.

A great set of self catering apartments. Our second year weve been here and it's still great. Amazing staff, great location for us (walkable to lidl) but at the top of cardiac hill. However there are less steep ways up and down if you're willing to find them. Rooms have everything you need, two beds, nice bathrooms with great showers, a kitchen with hob, sink, fridge etc and every year weve just bought an air fryer from the shops. Pool is great, but be prepared to be up for 830 to wait for a sunbed. Usually done between 845 and 915 depending on pool cleaners. Nice little bar/restaurant. Drinks and food prices are reasonable and taste nice. Bingo on Friday and Monday night's. We're booking again for next year! Kids (13 to 17) love it! All rooms HAVE air con and are brilliant. We've been too cold on some nights.

Just spent 10 days here, everything is lovely and clean. Staff are very friendly, apartments are very nice with comfortable beds. Kitchenette has all you need for self catering, microwave, toaster, hob. Even an iron and hairdryer. The area is nice and quiet, and only a ten minute walk to beach , shops and restaurants, although I have to add, the walk back up is more tiring.There is also a small supermarket on site. Pool area lovely, but people are queing to put towels down at 9am. So some days we went to the beach €10.50 for two beds and a parasol all day. Watch your feet the sand gets very hot. I would gladly return here in the future. Great holiday.

This is a great location. It’s close to the main central strip and beach. The grounds here are immaculately kept and the pool is very good - deep around though so flotation devices for kids is a good idea. Having said that the pool area and pool are quiet. The apartment we had was nice if a little tired. It was hot when we were there in August and 3 people so needed an extra fan staff were so helpful and got one straight away. Mosquitoes are an issue if you leave windows open at night for me - rest of family weren’t to bad. Would highly recommend

If you are a 5star all inclusive person this might not be your cup of tea but I think it’s a lovely little accommodation, close to Spar and the beach on a little hill🌊🐚 they also had everything in the kitchen so cooking is easy. Check in and check out was very easy

This hotel is lovely, not too big and set in a great location overlooking the beach. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a sea view room on the 5th floor with and amazing view. room comfortable, very clean , with a mini fridge great shower, good bed and decent size room too. Rooftop pool is compact but plenty of loungers and a nice bar area. Breakfast we found to be excellent, good choice, varied and lots of it.

A wonderful place to stay. Room was on 5th floor without a balcony (eg room 523,522,521) but located towards the back of the hotel so very quiet and peaceful as it didn't overlook any road at all. The second door between room and bathroom/exit door added to the sound proofing making this one of the quietest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Definitely had the best sleep here! Room was cleaned daily and towels replaced. TIP: Don't place the card on the door to request cleaning as the cleaners only pay attention to the 'do not disturb' side of this and will skip cleaning your room if you use this at all. Breakfast was adequate if not a little boring after a day or two. More vegetarian hot options would be great including yogurts suitable for vegetarians so that yogurt/cereal options were open to us as well. Did not use the gym but it looked well equipped and nicely located on the top floor with open doors to the roof top bar area. Swimming pool looks great but also didn't use this. A hot tub would be a wonderful addition to this area. Amazing view of the sunset from just outside the hotel lobby or better still, the top floor of the hotel. All in all, this is an excellent hotel on the beach front with great facilities and friendly staff. Near bus terminal with an easy walk into town centre. Scooter and bike rental places nearby.

It is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were spacious and reasonably well equipped, though a little lacking on storage in the bedroom. We were in the self-catering, Serenity, side of the hotel, which definitely lived up to its name. The room was situated facing the pool and came with its own terrace, complete with sun loungers. There is a hotel dining room, which the self-catering guests can use on a pay as you eat basis,and the all you can eat buffet style food is delicious. The hotel is slightly out of the main Costa Teguise centre, but it's an easy 10-minute walk up there, and there are plenty of little places on the way up there. If you don't want to do the longer walk,there is a smaller square, only 5 minutes away from the hotel, La Cucharas,which has plenty of places to eat and shop. The staff were lovely and really helpful ,nothing was too much trouble for them, and the place is immaculately clean. Definitely one of the nicest places I've ever stayed.

Recently back from a 9 night stay at Sciroco, very impressed for the cost. Staff were great, the hotel was very clean and the pool areas clean. We upgraded to Serenity (highly recommended if available). Breakfast was good with a decent selection, we ate out in evening so can't comment on evening meal. Even in the peak season, we had no issues getting a sunbed, but we had our own on poolside terrace, the beds under the umbrellas (fixed in place) went fast, but we saw beds available throughout the day. The hotel has a strict rule on no towels on sunbeds before 10am unless your lying on them I guess. The main pool looked a lot busier with activities. Overall, we had a great break, and would recommend this hotel, but Serenity upgrade would be a must for us in high season.

Had a really nice stay here a couple of weeks ago. A really lovely hotel with all areas kept clean and very well maintained. The majority of the staff were really excellent and always polite. The room was more than adequate with a really comfortable bed, I would be loath to stay in high summer as I didn't notice any Aircon in the room. The food was always tasty, but as usual in hotels like this it was never hot, a real shame. The hotel is a little bit out of the way but only a 10-15 stroll to the centre.

Beautiful stay!! Food could of been more variety at dinner but what we did have was nice. The breakfast was AMAZING. Apartments are absolutely huge, airy and beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, however unhappy that we had two single beds pushed together with separate duvets. Bathrooms were stunning and clean. Reception, cleaning and dining staff are lovely. Bar staff not so much. The grounds are stunning. The pool was freezing (went in may) but the sound of the jets is lovely to hear when relaxing by it. Near(ish) shops and a short walk into town. Would recommend going here to anyone visiting lanzarote over 18.

Friendly reception staff and good instructions to room. Hotel near the end of the resort so quite a long walk to the main restaurants and shops. The apartment needs an update but kept clean every two days. Bedroom quite small and not much room around the double bed. The sofa bed in lounge not that comfortable for long when watching the TV. There were sun beds on the ground floor apartments but as we were on the second floor we only had chairs. Adequate kitchen area and facilities that we didn't use much. We were B and B and the breakfast was good with a hot breakfast buffet with really thick British style bacon. The reviews for the evening meal, cost 18 euro each, were hit and miss but we ate there twice in a week and found the food good. It was buffet style so no freshly prepared food cooked for you by a chef as in some hotels. There wasn't much on site entertainment except for a Tuesday night at 9.30 pm which was a bit late I thought. There was nothing on the weekend we were there in early March 2024. The pool was cleaned each morning and the grounds once a week so the facilities were very clean.

What an amazing room and apartment. Outside looks very cosy in your average street(1 minute walking from the Charco boulevard) but inside is amazing. High ceilings, huge living room, spacious kitchen. The style is special, but it works. Bed was perfect, the kitchen really simple but did the trick. Bathroom could have been beter as the warm water was not sufficient for more than 2 people taking a shower after each other. Solarium outside was perfect with some sunbeds and tables. I visited in march so the jacuzzi was a bit cold, but can imagjne this is perfect in summer times. Parking is available on the street in front. Would recommend 10/10, especially for the price

I recently stayed at Apartamentos LIVVO Morromar in Lanzarote and had a mixed experience. The property itself is very nice and has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, several issues overshadowed our stay. Firstly, cleanliness was a concern, with dirty plates nearly every night and stained bedsheets that were never changed. There was no air conditioning in the rooms or most indoor areas, making it uncomfortable at times. The pool bar, which is by the pool but indoors and not accessible while wet, doesn’t open until 10:30 AM, making it not a true pool bar. Additionally, there were no accessible toilets while wet, which was inconvenient. Our experience with the reception staff was particularly disappointing. When someone in our group requested extra pillows, they were promised but never delivered, and the staff were incredibly rude, shouting, "We're a small island, we don't have all the pillows in the world." We asked about the availability of a courtesy room on our first day and were told to ask again the day before checkout. When we did, the same rude receptionist told us to check again in the morning, only to be informed by a different, much nicer receptionist that it had already been booked. We were faffed about for no reason. The bar staff, though lovely, seemed inexperienced with making cocktails. The entertainment staff were also wonderful, and while the activities were fun, there weren't many options for children. Despite being told kids couldn't participate in some activities, we saw other children joining in later, which was frustrating. Food was a highlight of our stay; we had some delicious meals, and the spirit pours were generous. The hotel is a fair walk to nearby shops, and there isn’t much to do in the immediate area, although we enjoyed a nice English breakfast at a nearby Australian place. Overall, while Apartamentos LIVVO Morromar is a nice property with some delightful staff, the numerous issues we encountered suggest there are better places to stay in Lanzarote. The potential for a great stay is there, but the management needs to address these concerns to make it truly enjoyable.

We spent a week in this structure. Comfortable and it provides everything you need. All inclusive is the best option, you can eat and drink at any time during the day ( alcoholics included such as cocktails and liquors ). The pools are good , there are two of them , well cleaned. The rooms are quite big , everyday the housekeepers come to clean and they do an excellent job. Receptionist and all the staff is very kind. Inside the resort there is also a gym, a futsal field, a tennis court… anyway if you are a sports lover this is the right place. There are two parking lots really near to the apartments. The food is good, the buffets are big and they cook dishes of all sorts, so you can find always something you like. My experience is a 5 star one , I dom’t have to complain about anything, only good speaking. Extremely recommended ! Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹

The food is far below expectations, the choice is small and the only decent tasting food is cold foods, hot foods either taste undercooked or are low quality. The rooms are good, decent size and what we expected but the drawbacks are, there is no AC, Mattresses are uncomfy (in my case), depending on your room floor (we were ground floor) ants can get inside easily and even the room service was bare minimum. When we arrived there was A DIGESTIVE BISCUIT ON THE FLOOR 😂, we had a giggle and put it in the bin, obviously it made no difference but shows the lack of effort the room service had. Had to ask a couple of times for spare towels as there wasn't much stocked up over the course of the week. The reception staff are really nice and explain everything well, really the highlight of this hotel. If you booked this places for a budget holiday, expect it to be what you budgeted for, because all I'm saying is the all inclusive option isn't worth it apart from the drinks 😆. Puerto Del Carmen is your best bet for shopping, would recommend taking a taxi, is only 6-7 euros per ride.

I am absolutely baffled by the 5 star reviews of this hotel! We arrived and our first room had a leaking shower, and a terrible smell in the main area which we had to report three times before they moved our room, the room we moved into had a condom wrapper next to the bed, not sure how it was missed but my 9 year old spotted it immediately, cue lots of questions. The mattresses are clearly very old as it's like sleeping in a hammock. The new room had broken fans, lack of balcony chairs for a family of four, old tatty chairs, a kettle that I wouldn't dare attempt to use. Everything is dated and damaged, cigarette burns in the sun loungers etc. My daughter scalded her arm on the shower handle from leaning against it, a week later it still hasn't healed fully. I spoke to reception as I was concerned other children of that height could have a similar or worse acident, but I was told it is logical for it to be hot. I think there should be protection or at least a warning sign. They were completely apathetic as she hadn't needed to go to hospital, luckily I had been able to give first aid myself! Breakfast is very basic, and although I found it hard to face each morning, I can't fault it for the kids as they loved the selection. We did buy some overpriced pizzas from the pool snack bar, do not recommend eating from here! The pools are absolutely freezing, from what I've read at least one of them should have been heated but this is not the case. The irony of it being too hot for the hotel to heat the pools but not hot enough to provide air con as standard is not lost on me! The best thing about the hotel is by far the entertainment team, they work really hard and the kids adore them. They are probably the reason the hotel gets great reviews. I also can't fault the location, very close to everything. My issues here are not with the staff, as most of them work really hard and are polite. I think management is the problem, it looks like they have left the day to day running of everything to the entertainment team. It is clear this hotel is not investing in updating the rooms or equipment quickly enough. They don't take health and safety seriously, as also saw lots of children slip over by the pools and it is ignored even when they are very obviously hurt. I understand this is an affordable hotel so expected it to be basic, but I have still spent a substantial amount to holiday here, and it is poor in contrast to other hotels we have stayed in for less money.

The entertainment team was fantastic! So friendly and great fun for both children and adults. All the staff at the hotel were helpful and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location, with a market opposite the reception and a short walk to plenty of restaurants. I would definitely come back here.

We have recently returned from a week's stay at the Galeon Playa. We arrived at the place around 11 pm. We were greeted by a smiling receptionist. We immediately noticed that the surroundings were very clean and that there was an amazing smell in the air. A surprise was waiting for us in the room... sandwiches, fruit, yogurts and a few bottles of mineral water so that we could eat after the long journey. Apartments - clean, spacious, towels changed every 2 days, bed linen every 4 days - definitely 5* Food - everyone could find something for themselves, both adults and children (we recommend the dishes of the Canary Islands - after all, that's why you spend your holiday in Lanzarote - to taste the local delicacies :) ) 5* Swimming pools - with crystal clear water 5* Animators 5* (maybe you could see us dancing with you in the morning :) To sum up ; Galeon Playa is a perfect place for families. Myself and my husband wanted a relaxing week in the sun after the depressive ‘Summer’ weather at home and we weren’t disappointed with booking the Galeon Playa Apartments. Bearing in mind we didn’t pay 5 star money, we had a 5 star holiday. The location is perfect with numerous bars and restaurants close by. We actually upgraded to half board and after an initial reservation, we thoroughly enjoyed the food in the restaurant. The food was hot, pleasantly presented with plenty of choice. Special mention must be made of Alberto (Restaurant Manager) and all his restaurant staff who couldn’t do enough for you, thank you to every single one of you. My daily glass of wine with my evening meal was enjoyed especially when it was a large glass of wine, unlike our British pub measures. The complex is very clean and the rooms are large and functional. The decor is a bit tired and there is no air conditioning but everything else is well provided for. Thank you for a lovely week in the sun, we would definitely go back to Galeon Playa Apartments.

I know some rooms have been updated but ours is pretty dated but has everything we need, the location is perfect close to literally everything, beach, restaurants shops etc. one massive plus for galeon are entertainment team definitely 5 Star. The park inside the resort is closed ATM but looks like they are doing something with the space,pool area's are nice but could possibly do with a little more for the little one's like a little splash park not just a little slide . Overall a nice place to have a holiday

Absolutely brilliant hotel! Started here a few years ago and our room was lovely and spacious with a great view. The block we were staying in had a poolside cafe and was surrounded by beautiful palm trees that towered over us, giving the whole place a great atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help if anything was wrong, as well as consistently making sure the whole hotel was spotless, cleaning rooms every few days or so. The hotel is extremely close to arrecife airport and we were able to take a taxi to our block within minutes of landing. The hotel is also situated right on the beachfront, giving us great access to the beach and the endless rows of restaurants along the coast. It was an absolutely amazing trip and I would absolutely go again!

Great place to stay. Out of the main town enough for peace and quiet but a 40min (flat) walk along the beach to town or a 10min bus ride for countless bars, restaurants and atmosphere. Staff were great. Hire your car from reception and they'll sort it out for you within the hour if before 1pm. Couldn't be any easier. Loads of bars and choices to eat in the complex too. 2min to the beach. What more can you ask?😎

I stayed in this property last week (June 2024). The property is amazing and cozy. The staff is super friendly and love to help their guests. Rooms were very clean and the apartment was very spacious. Location is amazing too and very close to the beach. Taxi station is like 2 mins walking from the hotel. Overall I loved my stay at this property. Staff is very kind too, I had a late flight to catch after my checkout at 12 pm, They allowed me to store my luggage and also allowed me to shower while leaving the hotel later.

Lovely apartment. Shame outside space not looked after. Pool area is lovely but neglected. There is no hosing down or sweeping. So each day you're left with plasters, hairbands spilt sweets and ice cream etc. Our stay is in block 8. Otherwise staff friendly and helpful.

Very good location near the beach and shopping centre. The reception is very friendly and welcoming. The room is very basic facilities indeed,very filmsy kettle and toaster. There was 3 of us and when we arrived, the 3rd bed not even made. It was just bed frame and the mattress and no extra duvet or pillow provided.I called the reception then the grumpy maid brought us the pillow but no bedsheets. We have to call the reception again so we had the bed set complete but why don't they made the bed earlier before we checked in. We have to do them by ourselves. We got locked out on the balcony the first night. The grumpy male maid again came to help to open the door. We didn't know that you should take your room key with you. If the door shut, it will lock automatically. I probably will not consider to stay here again in the future.

A Very well run place. Our 1st apartment was definitely not to our liking. It was large enough and.a big outside area but fully enclosed, we felt hemmed in. Next door fan was extremely noisy. Moved to a new room after noon and and location and view were perfect. Cleaning and laundry etc... was 5 days out of 7. Brilliant 👏. As it was 3 weeks, a washing machine was missed. Regarding calling the Room Superier. We and others totally challenge that. Sure its large enough, reasonable designed but in much need of a refurbishment. The location is perfect, the swimming 🏊‍♀️ pool x 2 are brilliant 👏. We'll maintain. 2 life guards applied the rules. However if you have young children, no beach balls or lilos allowed. This is not the place to be. Life guards only applying the rules but no come or go. Very strict, for a safety reason I assume. Supervised Kids loosing out. Pool area spotless. Hosed down every night. SunBeds as well. Lovely kept gardens. Staff very helpful. Everything was outdated but functioned as designed in the apartment Yes, we would go back.

Pros - Amazing location, house keeping came nearly everyday, lovely and clean pool area, specious apartment Cons - ‘air con’ was shocking, didn’t blow cold air, the only setting that worked was the fan which just blew warm air round the room. We had someone come and look at it twice and they said it was working when it wasn’t. Could do with a fan in the bedroom. Air con unit looks very old. No bowls in room? Asked at reception and they said they don’t have any? Had to eat cereal out a pan. Balcony area needs a good clean, makes your feet really dirty, don’t think it’s ever been washed. - just a heads up you need to send a screen shot showing you have booked the hotel when you get to reception through an email they provide. Don’t know why they can’t just search your name up?

A Tranquil Oasis - Coloradamar near Playa Papagayo The bungalows are a highlight of Coloradamar – clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. We have been here for 7 nights and had a great time. The park is very neat and well maintained. we had an apartment with jacuzzi (recommended) which was very spacious with a kitchen with associated attributes. The beds are perfect. A beautiful and nice swimming pool, because of our visit in April we had all the space to ourselves. There is plenty to do on the island for people over 50, as we are. You can walk to the harbor which is a 15 minutes walk. There is the market and various places where you can eat.

Wonderful staff, wonderful 2 bedroom bungalows with beautiful bonsai (small but pretty and organised) gardens. Clean, efficient, friendly, relaxing. Nice swimming pool as well. Nice views of the sea and surrounding parks and pretty houses. Look no further for no-frills relaxation, peace, quiet, and comfort. One tip: take an extra fleece in winter as I don’t think the rooms are heated.

A lovely, peaceful stay was had here. Not too overcrowded and nice and clean. The breakfast was good for a 3 star hotel, and the staff friendly and attentive. The pool is clean and quiet, and some entertainment was laid on for the guests too. No rushes to get a sunbed and no screaming children. I would recommend this to couples seeking a peaceful escape away from the more busier and crowded hotels that we had passed.

Just got back. Pretty good for the peaceful type vacation. Unfortunately, I'd left a pair of new training shoes in room. I asked reception if I could go back and see, (As we had a late flight. We were there up until 7pm). However, it was cleaned and, lo and behold, no shoes. A mixture of blame to me (for leaving them). But, I don't understand why the cleaner didn't hand them in. 🤷🏻

The hotel is in a very quiet place, yet you can walk to the city and the ocean within 15-20 minutes. We had a sense of privacy throughout the resort. The room was nice, very clean, spacious, furnished in a simple style without frills. The breakfast was fantastic, with a large selection of food considering all the intolerances that people have these days. We were in the hotel for 5 days and every day we could have something different. The pool bar is open throughout the day, where you can have a snack, lunch or alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks. The pool bar is connected to a restaurant where you can have a great 4-course dinner at a very good price. The staff is very very nice and helpful. We had a pleasant welcome at the reception. The hotel is not new, but it can be seen that it is regularly maintained. For me and my wife, a great hotel, at a reasonable price, away from the noise of the center. I recommend.

Staying at Casas Heddy is a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. I really enjoyed my stay there. Good food, quiet, clean, great staff and the daily schedule from the Life center was great and varied, and included in the price. We had a fantastic week at El Guarapo. The location is fantastic, a quiet street, but 5 minutes walk from shops, a great bakery, restaurants and a brilliant beach. The apartments are well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The pool area and gardens are also kept beautifully. Staff are lovely and very helpful. We had an evening flight and took advantage of a late check out which is very reasonably priced. There is also an area with showers and luggage lockers for bags and cases which can be used for this purpose, again really well thought out and very useful. The place has a very calm relaxed feel to it, even though they were fully booked it didn't feel busy and there was none of this queueing for sunbeds nonsense I've seen elsewhere. If travelling Jet2, the road is too small for the transfer bus, so they drop off about a 4 minute walk away on the main road but please don't let that put you off as El Guarapo is a fantastic place to stay and an excellent base to explore the area. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

Loved these apartments, great quiet location, yet ony 5 minutes walk to the main square . Grounds and pool are immaculatly kept . The staff are really friendly, especially the breakfast staff . The breakfast is great , made to order and good choice with quality produce . The thing that let's it down which could be easily resolved , are the rooms , they need a deep clean and new bedding. The sheets were clean but scruffy with holes and tatty edging . The apartment itself needs paint work , floor edges , doors, etc, cleaned ( dirty marks on bedroom walls ) or a fresh coat of paint ! New art work . Old pictures from Munich Olympics 1972 on the walls , why ? These apartments could be 5 star with just a little effort . We had a great holiday though and would return. Please apartments managers invest in some new bed linen!

These beautiful apartments are wonderfully quiet, yet strangely with a 5 minute walk of one of the main squares. We were contacted by Natália via WhatsApp prior to our flight to wish us a safe journey and that they were looking forward to welcoming us, which they did and gave us a voucher for our first drink from the bar for free. The apartment was bright, modern, spacious and incredibly clean. The pool area was really nice too, sun beds were plentiful and they WEREN’T reserved by the selfish towel brigade which tends to happed in most places. Without any doubt we will be returning here and if you’re planning a trip to Costa Teguise then I’d recommend you try the El Guarapo Apartments. Fantastic stay, the rooms were clean and spotless, beds were comfortable. Easy 10 minutes to get to the main bars and shops walking. Food at Hyde park lane was reasonable priced, lots of variety at breakfast and at dinner.We loved breakfast. Pools were clean, we preferred the smaller pool. (Only gripe was the reserving sunbed situation, put your towel out all day and use hardly every. One day no sun beds so kept walking back to room to sunbathe on terrace) Little shop on site not bad pricing. Staff always friendly and helpful from front of house to the cleaners and grounds people. Lovely gardens to walk round. Just a lovely experience and hope to visit again one day.

Great villas, ours had a personal pool so never used communal ones, though they looked fine. Restaraunt has lovely food and drink, though you will find cheaper down on the seafront which is a ten minute stroll from the complex. Our villa was smart and comfortable. It has its issues, like broken gate, faulty hair dryer & leaky washing machine. But the staff were quick to respond & repair any issues. Highly recommended.

Perfect! Highly recommend! Bungalow - spotlessly clean throughout. Floors and bathroom cleaned and towels were changed every other day, bedding changed weekly - more often upon request. Room had all the necessities for a self catering holiday. Service - staff all work exceptionally hard. Main reception staff were all very helpful with requests. Great service from pool bar staff, that was a perfect place for a light snack and ice-creams. Fitness staff very enthusiastic and I enjoyed aqua zumba in the main pool and yoga in the beautiful gardens. Grounds and cleaning staff kept the whole complex immaculate. Facilities - plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The lifeguard was very helpful. Children enjoyed the play areas, table tennis and both pools. Food - pool bar had a range of light meals and snacks. The Hyde Park Salad is delicious! Stayed once for evening meal and the food was lovely (we just prefer to dine out each evening for a change of scenery). Shower facilities and luggage storage were perfect if you have a late flight, so you can continue to use the facilities throughout the day after the checkout time. Location - perfect! Short walk to Los Pocillos seafront. €5 taxi ride to the other side of the Puerto del Carmen strip and a great walk back, either through the hustle and bustle of the shops and bars or cross over the road for a more relaxed seafront walk. €5 taxi ride to Matagorda - a quieter resort - another lovely evening walk back. Rooms are basic but it's just a place to put your head down anyway, could not get the air conditioning to work so made do without. Food was good, always something to eat and drink. If you're in the low 1000s room you'll likely get a friendly cat popping around, he likes nothing more than curling up on a lap and going to sleep so look out for the wee fellow. We went to SBH Royal Monica at the end of July for a week. The location is good, but very windy, like veeeery windy! Nice beaches around, close to everything as the island is quite small. We had a rental car so could move around, visit all the tourists places, do the camel ride, etc. They are shops and restaurants 10 min walking distance from the hotel and probably like 45 min walking to Playa Blanca centre. Nice views, quiet and relaxing. The hotel looks ok, our room was ok too, nothing special. Therefore it needs some love, maybe management that cares as everything is old, washed off, scratched or broken - especially our bath. It would have been great to have a kettle in the room so we could have a nice coffee at any time, instead of going to the snack bar to get it which was very far away. We had tried to get some water from the restaurant while it was already closed for the service but both times rude staff members told us off even though the reception lady said that it is fine. Well, not everyone was rude. Some restaurant/ bar staff were very nice and helpful, same as the reception stuff. Our room was cleaned as scheduled too. Food- yes let's talk about that now haha! Nicely saying - food wasn't great! Very poor quality. Except one day, when they put some forms on each table to fill it up if we would come back to the hotel, if we would recommend it, etc. And that was just one day, any other day we had to go out for dinner to buy something edible. We spent more money on food than on the whole holiday. They were doing some activities during the day, like dancing in the pool, darts, etc. and in the evening other entertainment in the bar. We didn't take part in any of them but a few people said it was nice and I think it's a great idea. We went there just to have a good family time, and we did. We were kind of ready for most of it after reading some other reviews but we've chose to go there anyway. Would I come back? No. Would I recommend it? - No. I give 3 stars.

Rooms are lovely most staff are great one bar man so far up himself looking at the time every few seconds as AI finishes at 11pm & then you have to pay & only 2 drinks per person so if your buying a round then GOOD LUCK A cat walking around on the seats & bits people. The hotel is located in a peaceful area, by the ocean, with a private beach. We chose a room with an ocean view and it was a good choice. WARNING WARNING! If you want to enjoy your holiday, DO NOT stay at Royal Monica!! My family and I went to stay here for 6 nights in 2 separate rooms and we arrived in the evening. The following morning, we went for a walk along the beach and when we arrived back in our rooms, we noticed the cleaners have been in. When we checked our wallets which have been out on the table, from one of them a €50 note was missing in one room and from another wallet in our other room, 2 €20 notes were missing. Unsurprisingly, the wallets which have been hidden away had no money missing. When we went to the reception and asked for a manager to put in a complaint about this, we were told the manager isn’t there and so we told what happened to the receptionist and he was very rude and laughed in our faces whilst telling us to go to the police as he trusts the cleaners to never do something like this. We weren’t the only ones there that needed to talk with the police as we saw the police at the hotel on 2 separate occasions speaking with people staying there and on one of the occasions the lady speaking with them was crying and left the hotel not long after, so clearly we weren’t the only ones having a terrible experience. We saw cockroaches multiple times whilst staying here as well. We saw them inside of our rooms and also one time whilst we were eating in the dining room, a cockroach was crawling on my mum’s shoulder. The food was horrendous at Royal Monica. The food available was repetitive, almost the same foods every day and on top of that, they were serving raw meat a lot of the time as the chicken and beef weren’t cooked enough. The chefs are also very unhygienic as we saw them cooking the pancakes and fried eggs on the same grill with the same utensils, this ended up with some of the eggs having a layer of pancake stuck to the bottom which was disgusting, there was also egg shells in the fried eggs. They definitely also used the same knife to cut vegetables and fruits as the watermelons tasted like onions. Dessert was also horrible as the cake they put out was fully frozen, it was hard to even cut the cake and you could see the ice inside of the cake! There is supposed to be entertainment at the pool bar every day like at most other hotels but even though they say they put on entertainment, there is nothing at the pool bar for entertainment other than football on the TV. We were all so excited for this holiday but it was the biggest disappointment of our lives and we do not recommend this hotel at all, please stay away!

We arrived in the early afternoon and our room was not available until 4pm which was a shame. Check out is also at 10am which would have been nice to have been later but every hotel has different policies. They take a 100 euro deposit when you check in as a pending charge and return it to you at the end of your stay (may take several days depending on your bank). The apartment itself was very spacious with everything you need, including a full kitchen with plenty of amenities to use, including ice makers which was a nice touch. You may get some loud young lads that come to the hotel which is a shame but can’t be helped. We stayed in 1C which didn’t get much sun if you want to sit on your terrace and the view was the back of the restaurant which again isn’t ideal. WiFi is available throughout the hotel but did buffer on occasion when we were watching live sport or film on our laptop when streaming. The pools are great (you can rent towels for the day or week at an extra cost), including the jacuzzi and there are plenty of loungers to choose from (book with the lifeguard and you need to make sure you are there for either morning or afternoon so you don’t lose them to others). Happy hour is available at the bar twice a day and a beer is 3 euros at this time and you get a second for free. We only had a light lunch which was ok for the price but we didn’t try any of the main meals from the menu. The bar staff are nice and the reception staff are super helpful, always have a smile on their face and will try to help wherever possible.

Just back from our 10 night stay. The hotel itself was lovely and very close to the strip and beach. It’s about a 15 min walk to the old town too. The hotel is situated at the top of what everyone calls ‘cardiac hill’ but it really isn’t that bad maybe if you have a disability you probably would struggle. The hotel does have a side entrance you can access through and then go up lots of steps but the gate closes around 7. Also another way is to enter from the strip at the bottom of the hotel near sun lounge. The rooms are bright, clean and modern we loved the room and we were very pleased as we was near the pool area. The only thing with the room was mopping up every time we took a shower. The hotel doesn’t like inflatables in the pool or said no ball games but people did have balls in pool and the pool staff didn’t seem to mind. Sun beds were taken very early but the staff removed towels if they were left unattended for long. The only reason why we wouldn’t return to this hotel is because the pool was absolutely freezing!

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. From check in to check out the staff were incredible. The rooms are so clean. We paid a bit extra for the sea view room and it was worth it. The location is really good, it’s close to the strip, you will be on the main strip within 3 minutes - the walk up is tough so bear that in mind when booking.

If you would like to stay in a hotel where some staff (reception & female bar staff) are rude & obnoxious, your room will not be refreshed, given fresh towels or toiletries for 4 days or until you ask twice, this is a hotel for you. We needed to be moved from our first room as there was a sewer type musty smell in the bedroom that was horrendous. The rooms need a deep clean before new guests move in. The furnishings & paint in the rooms is 2*. In order to close the front door, it needs to be slammed shut, it should really of been flagged by a cleaner for one of the maintenance staff to fix. The toilet barely flushes, you’ll need to flush three or four times. The shower water leaks out onto the floor, totally soaking the floor towel & floor. The patio area is dated & needs a repainting. You need to pay for use of the safe and iron, very cheap for a supposed 4 star & given rooms are accessible from the street. A complimentary bottle of Brut is given, but there are no wine or champagne glasses in the rooms. Low, cheap standards overall. The pool area is quiet & kept clean by the lifeguard working there. The terrance area is very relaxing & very quiet. The food & drinks at bar are nice. The location is great, between the strip & old town. The room hadn’t been refreshed in 4 days, without new towels or toilet roll (you’re given two shower towels). I asked at the reception what the issue was at 1pm & was told it would be cleaned. When going back to the room at 4pm, the room still had not been visited. I asked the receptionist if they had finished cleaning the rooms for the day & received the most hostile of responses, after letting her know it was not cleaned I think one of the receptionists done a quick job. Upper management should review the hotel, a few sackings would not go a miss with introduction of newer, more energetic staff who actually would like to work there & appreciate the job. This was our third stay here, the value for money is not good & very disappointed with this most recent stay. The hotel is definitely not a 4 star. Will not return.

Have been here for a few days and have to say that we are really, really impressed with the cleanliness of entire place. Staff are amazingly helpful and friendly and all very hard working.. Lucky enough to have room right above pool with amazing view of ocean. I have walking disability but everything I need is close to hand, Keep in mind if you have mobility issues you would be best contacting direct for your needs, apartments are located on steep hill but taxi fares are very reasonable. Many restaurants and bars in local area. We will return.

Fabulous short stay here last week! Apartment was fabulous, really spacious, spotlessly clean, lovely balcony, super bathroom with luxury toiletries and the most comfortable beds with blackout and no noise. Mary & Carmen at reception were so friendly and helpful. The pool area so relaxing & spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet was very substantial, I personally would have liked more fresh fruit variety but plenty hot & cold choice. Highly recommend for a peaceful relaxing stay for a bit of luxury while being right in the centre of town.

The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was nice always warm... As for the locals, you couldn't get better very central... Enjoyed ourselves, we are going to book again but in the apartments as less stairs to climb. We hope to come back in July of this year. We made lots of new friends and found your bar lady Carmen a delight as she couldn't do enough for us, what a lovely lady, hope the hotel thinks highly of her. Brilliant position the hotel is in as restaurants bars and beach just across the road, couldn't get much closer just great if you have difficult walking. Beds very very comfortable. Never have to worry about getting a sun bed, but still people put their towels on sunbeds early and never went on sunloungers for 4 hours, which should never happen. In all a lovely experience. We returned first two weeks in July, the apartments are great, dish washer, washing machine, cooker, micro oven. Aircon, safe and beech towels all in with the price. Apartments spotless will definitely be back, worth every penny, just love it. Oh just remembered dishwasher tablets and washing tabs all supplied. Great place.

This is the place if you want a kid friendly hotel, the rooms are clean and well equipped, the best views are with the upper rooms, the pools are large, they have an adult swimming pool, the main pool is for the families, there is also smaller pool at the small bar in the hotel complex 😀. The bar is kid friendly, right to closing time. I never used it as I don't have kids. The dining room is large and can more than accommodate all holidaymakers. The selection of food and drinks is extensive and varied, there is also a separate adult section for diners. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely consider returning here,but mainly when kids are at school as I don't have kids. You can walk to the town.

Budget friendly, all-inclusive hotel in perfect location few steps downhill from the one of the best beaches on Playa Blanca. The rooms are nice with a kitchenette and bathrooms with either a shower or bathtub. The employees at the hotel are super nice and helpful, always smiling and welcoming. The location couldn't be more perfect, as said previously, the beach is a few steps away and the bars and restaurants are also reachable within 10min walk along the coast.

After 5 years we decided to go back to Flamingo Beach with a great experience in mind from 5 years earlier. We decided to choose this hotel due to the connection between the hotel-beach-pool which is a couple of steps away from each other. Upon arrival we noticed that nothing has changed the past 5 years which doesn't have to be a bad sign. 1,) Room: Until we entered the room which looked a bit outdated and smelled like rotten eggs due to the bad drainage and dirty toilet bowl. We noticed that "Room cleaning" is nothing more than making up the beds and quickly broom the place. This is reflected in discoloured sealant edges in the bathroom and dirt/hairs we found from earlier guest in the bedrooms and bathroom. I have to admit the sofa beds sleep reasonably well and the kitchenette is handy if you want to make your own food. It's annoying that our bathroom skylight blew off during strong winds. This was repaired within half an hour. This had apparently been loose for a number of days. This explains the vermin in the bathroom. 2,) Food: For the first two days, there is a lot to choose from to eat. After this, it starts to get boring. As a meat lover, you will get off badly with a few pieces of meat of mediocre quality. Often this is also pork or fish (which not everybody likes). Pizza and Pasta's are the same every day, after 5 days we decided to do dinner outside. By the way, we looked forward to breakfast every day, which is just good. Although we stumbled upon sour milk twice so keep your eye out for that. Something that visibly annoyed a lot of guests were the coffee machines that were constantly malfunctioning. There are 6 coffee machines in the restaurant in the morning, of which often only 1/2 were working. Staff look at it, shrug their shoulders and happily walk to a machine that does work. I don't think this is quite the point. 3,) Entertainment: The entertainment team does their best to keep guests entertained. However, it is completely aimed at "English" guests. The children wanted to make a coloring page in the kids club, it turned out that you have to make a reservation for everything in an app. It's a pity that in 2024 we can no longer let children make a drawing but must have booked it in advance via an app. 4,) Staff: Some staff members are looking for interaction and they are all open to this. With the exception of the restaurant manager, everyone is friendly and happy to help you. You notice that they are under a lot of pressure and rush to fulfill their tasks. This leaves it down to the quality of their service. 5,) Overall: In general, we got the impression that the hotel has been at a standstill in maintenance for the past 5 years. The stretchers at the pool are sagging, very dirty and need to be replaced. The large pool looks well maintained, but the rest is far from maintained. Several tiles are missing, which can cause dangerous situations. You don't want to think about your children getting stuck behind this with their feet. The hotel needs maintenance on both the pool and the rooms. Add variety to the food, make it of better quality and especially make sure that the plates, bowls and crockery are clean and does not smell like old sweat socks.

Stayed for 8 nights. Really enjoyed our stay. Room was fantastic value, really clean. Perfect location near the beach and bars. We stayed for half board. Breakfast was standard buffet nothing special. Dinner however was excellent quality. Always a variety of tasty food, with daily themes such as Chinese, Mexican etc. Pool quite small and limited umbrellas. Unfortunately many sun beds are claimed early with towels, nothing done to prevent this. Overall though we definitely recommend!

Myself and my two teenager children had a great time at Relaxia Lanzaplaya. The hotel and rooms were very clean and the food was lovely. All inclusive can be a bit repetitive but the dishes were cooked really well. Alex, the entertainment man was hilarious and made our holiday! He made everyone laugh constantly and we missed him if he wasn't around! He entertained the hotel single handedly. The only downsides to the hotel were there was only the pool bar you could sit around on the night and the bar in the hotel was closed. It would have been nice to have that bar open for somewhere different to go. Also, there weren't many umbrellas by the pool so you did have to get up early if you wanted one. The location was great right near the bars and restaurant and beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 7 nights nights all inclusive as 3 adults and would highly recommend this hotel. We arrived at 10pm and the reception staff said there was a cold plate of food waiting for us in the restaurant, very much appreciated. The food was standard buffet food but tasty. There was always a pork, chicken and beef/veal dish and fish. Lots of veg and fruit was available. The only improvement would be if you could help yourself to soft drinks rather than ordering at the bar. Everywhere was always kept clean. The pool had plenty of sunbeds. The entertainment guy Alex was great at getting people involved and making everything fun even if you weren't involved in the activities. Kids are allowed at this hotel but there isn't a separate pool or activities for them. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with twin beds in the bedroom and the sofa bed made up in the living room. The air con in there did not make the room much cooler compared to the bedroom. Room was cleaned daily and towels replaced when you needed. Reception staff were all friendly. We booked 2 excursion through the hotel as it was cheaper than Jet2. There is also a washing machine you can use and you buy the tokens from reception. To get to the rooms you go up the lift or stairs and get to the pool and then you find your block and then you have more stairs to climb which were quite hard with suitcases and then some rooms had steps up to the door. If you have accessibility issue then you would need a room at the pool.

Lovely staff. Nice clean hotel. The hotel food was not always the best but I had access to lovely salad and fresh fruit each meal so that suites me. The pool was fun for my kids. It was great having access to aqua lava. This hotel is a very good version of a 3 star hotel. Sow parts of the room were a little bit worn and tired but the bathroom was nice and new. We are a family of 5 and the magma bungalow suited us perfectly. Each room has two single beds pushed together to make an extra large double.

What a fabulous hotel! A group of 15 of us from 3 -65 came for 10 days and we had a blast! Food was great, always something lovely at all meal times. Water park access was a huge hit! The animation team were amazing! Special thanks to Annis who was brilliant with our kids especially will! Nighttime entertainment was good and drinks were fab! Rooms are a little dated but the layout and set up are perfect! We had 2 bungalows with an interconnecting door for 5 people so plenty of space. A fab holiday!

Had a great time at Hotel Pocillos Playa. As we arrived late in the evening, the Hotel staff set aside 2 plates of food so we had something to eat. All the staff were friendly and we didn't seem to have any trouble while we were there. The food was great, different every lunch time and dinner so at least that kept it interesting. There was entertainment every night, however as the football was on some of the games didn't happen! There was plenty to do if staying around at the hotel. I will only say this as a bad point, On you card you get given at the start of the stay, and on the board by the pools, and even when checking in, is says you cannot reserve a sun lounger (leave a towel on the sun lounger). However this happened every day. I am not too bothered that poeple did this as luckily it wasn't busy enough to stop us from having a lounge by the pool. However, why have a rule if you aren't going to enforce it. Also they had a "premium" lounging area, yet not at one point was this explained when we checked in. It was for "All-Inclusive Premium" customers, but we were never asked if we would like to have upgraded to the premium. And (before we found this out) one day we were in this area (only people in there) and basically someone came along and asked to check our bands or if we had a ticket, as we had neither we were asked to leave. At this point he could have told us all we needed to do was pop to reception and get a ticket or ask about the premium upgrade! So other than this, Our stay was great. It was my partners birthday and on her birthday after we had been out for the morning, we came back to our room and there was a nice bottle of Champagne and 2 glasses on Ice which was really nice, TOP marks for this! We never even said anything to anyone, so I am assuming they just noticed it off our passports. Anyway, I would stay here again. Just ASK RECEPTION about what you get with "premium" and how much it is per night (€10 per person per night I think).

We went all inclusive but you had to pay 3 Euros a day for the safe and buy your own water from local shops. There was also a 5 euro deposite for pool towels plus a 1 euro charge, and if you wanted a clean one, they charged. If you wanted a drink by the pool you had to pay a 1 euro deposit on a plastic cup - thankfully you could get this changed for a clean one. The food was adequate, nothing special. Sometimes the hot food was cold, including the breakfast food. There was a poor choice of desserts, and it was very repetitive. On the good side the hotel was nice and our room good. The pool area and the pool were nice, although not big enough for the amount of guests. The Entertainment was poor. We had a good week but we won't be returning to this hotel.

The hotel is close to the beach and amenities. The staff are all friendly. The young receptionist in the evening was very helpful and welcoming. I had emailed to request a ground floor room due to my husband's mobility issues, which we were given and even upgraded to pool view. We arrived late and a salard meal was waiting for us. The room was cleaned every day, and towels changed every other day. There was a small kettle, cups and fridge in the room. The safe cost €3 per day. A refundable €1 each for a plastic beaker for use around the pool. ( which is understandable for safty given how windy it was. ) We stay all inclusive, the food was ok, you wouldn't go hungry, but breakfast was the best meal. The pastrys were great. There were various activities during the day and some entertainment at night. I also had a wonderful back massage in the spa. There is a shower room available in the toilets if you have a late flight and want to freshen up. Overall, the other guests were friendly and mixed nationalities, mostly middle-aged. And NO kids!!!

It was our first time in lanzarote. The hotel was great. Rooms were clean and a good size. We had a pool view room which was lovely to sit outside and chill. We found the staff really helpful, the food was very good and varied. The only thing that let it down was the bar! As we were all inclusive the drinks were not great, the drinks were poor. We ended up buying bottles of prosecco at €10 euros . I'd definitely recommend this hotel still, and a fantastic location. Id like to finish with there was a lady that was coming to the end of her 60 day trial. She was fantastic!!! She interacted with everyone around the pool and dining room. She will bring a lot to the hotel if kept on. I think her name was Nalan... forgive me if I have misspelt her name. We met some lovely couple's as well. I can't wait to come back😁

My family have just enjoyed a great week at Villas Blancas (Villa 38) 4 bed Villa - really liked the gated complex and received a good service from the management company. Size and space of Villa was excellent, pool area was great and exactly what we wanted. Definitely needed a hire car but this suited us and gave my family the opportunity to get out and about. I would have given this review 5 stars but only minor criticism was there was only two sofas in the living area for a villa that sleeps 8 .. relaxing in the villa on a night was a bit tight but I do feel I’m being a picky with this criticism. Overall this Villa was great value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again

We stayed in villa 23 great large clean villa (cheaper than the smaller villas we could find) on a secure complex its a perfect mix of being private but also secure - only main bedroom had aircon so not sure how anyone would sleep in the other rooms anyway - air con in living room wasnt great but air con in main bedroom was amazing! Lovely chap came to clean pool every other day and we had towels and sheets changed mid week - Jennifer via email was quick to respond to any queries - we had a car so location perfect for us but walk into town wouldnt be bad and taxis or scooters a available- gutted to be home

Great place to stay. The villas are well maintained, with very friendly cleaners and pool staff. The amenities are good and in full working order. Villas was spotless and clean and very spacious. At the time of writing, I would recommend a car if you are staying here as even getting groceries can be a mini task. There is mini shop near by but it doesn't have a lot in it, just the basics like water and juice etc. But there is a lot of development going on near by so this might change in the near future. If you are wanting a short walk to the restaurants etc, be warned, this probably isn't the place for you. It takes about 25 mins down towards the main section of restaurants and the same back, but there is a steep hill back up to the villa. But if you're fully able bodied and enjoy a still back on a night, it's lovely and straight forward. We had a slight issue when our youngest child lost his (cherished) teddie as it had been scooped up, by accident, when the beds were changed. Sent Villas Blancas resort (tabaiba group) an email at 2200 asking if he turns up would it be possible for a return, the following morning the teddie was back with my youngest which really made his day. Thank you Jennifer and team!! Certainly will look at returning in the future.

I've just come back from a ten night break in Lanza, staying in the the Costamar Aparthotel. I had read the reviews before I arrived and now would like to offer one which I'd happily endorse. I stayed in a room for one and I couldn't fault the size of the room or balcony. The room was given a quick clean every day, the towels and sheets changed every second day, and the staff were as friendly as I've ever encountered abroad. I had breakfast and dinner included in my package. The breakfast I couldn't find fault with and thourghly enjoyed every morning. I only tried the dinner once, and while it wasn't to my personal liking, the amount of people enjoying it the evening I tried it would indicate that they were doing something right. I would happily stay in the Costamar again without hesitation. The location was perfect for me, it was roughly 3km from the main strip. A nice walk if you're happy to do so, or you can get a taxi for less than €5, or it's €1.40 on the bus which stops just outside. A special mention to Tony on reception who was an absolute gentleman, and always willing to help or advise. Definitely a 10/10 for me.

Reception staff were lovely unfortunately the rooms were not.very dated and poorly maintained,cockruches, which was obviously a problem as there was spray kept under the sink,we were in apartment 31b so if you are put here,be aware.

Staff are lovely. Food is very good, plenty of choice. Rooms are big. Reception are very helpful and always have a smile on there face. Annoyed with privacy though. I was on my balcony listening to my small speaker whilst getting ready to go out and look along the strip.( no alcohol involved) when the room phone rang. It was the evening reception complaining that we making to much noise. I said it's only 8.50pm I'm getting ready to go out for a walk. He said " no your not I can see you on the balcony thru the security camera " I was horrified to know that I am being watched on my balcony. Absolutely disgusting and the fact that it was only 8.50pm I was not even loud. Yet I was woken up at midnight to 2 girls screaming and crying. Need to get priorities right and let tourists enjoy there holiday rather then perving thru the security camera 😩 would of got a 5 star if it wasn't for the pervy night staff

Staff really friendly and very attentive. Cleaners made sure everything in our apartment was tidy. Yes rooms basic but was somewhere to relax on a night and get our heads down. Had no problems at this hotel at all. We were at the back near the tennis court really quiet and relaxing very little disturbance would definitely stay here again! So will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 11 nights. The staff are really nice. Regularly cleaned with your bed made & fresh sheets & Towels. Cheap bar food available. Tennis court. Table tennis & pool table. 15 mins walk to the harbour or Strip. The apartment's are looking dated although they are clean. Could do with an update. The pool area is really nice. Some of the Sun beds are not the best. This time of the year there are plenty to go around. Would we come back?? Yes.. bargain basement Holiday that is do- able. Nice chilled out holiday👍

Just back and I really liked it here. It has both positive & negative aspects. Its location is perfect, supermarkets, lidl, restaurants, shopping centre, main night strip all within a ten minutes walk. Fantastic beach 15 minutes away. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only negative is the pool is to cold and rooms need a make-over but there only small things. I would definitely return.

The staff here work very hard and will go out of there way for your needs, the barman is over worked and is working the bar as well as the restaurant downstairs and round the pool. It took 15 minutes to get served at the bar due to no one about to serve, I had to go to reception for them to find the barman. The cleaners also hard working. The rooms are basic but perfectly acceptable but could do with a lick of paint in places to freshen up. Lots of cats roaming around the complex and cat poo in the gardens so wear your footwear. Tennis court turns into a playground for all the kids and some adults so forget about having a game of tennis. *HOWEVER *.......the reason I have given 2 stars is down to the pathetic guests that stay here, between 6am and 7.30 am it's like wacky races when holiday makers bolt to the pool to get there sun lounger, then go back to there rooms or back to bed. One guy went down with 9 towels to claim sun loungers and was not seen at the pool until late afternoon....get a life man !!! This morning ritual should be BANNED ! not once did we get a bed by the pool and we are early risers and did not even get to dip my toe in the pool so we spent the whole holiday outside the complex. I have posted a picture of the pool area at 9.25am where all the beds are taken with towels. I would NEVER return to this complex, in fact I've booked across the road for November as so disappointed with my stay here.

Absolutely love this place the rooms are pretty basic but they're still so cute and cosy. They have everything you need. The staff are exceptionally friendly and are very good at what they do. Great value for money. Would highly recommend.

I went to this place in 2018. Rude staff, very poor rooms. Shifted us about to sister hotel because of double booking and lied to us about it. Location is good. Sister hotel is in land, not so good. Horrendous otherwise thought.

Great location for getting around the island if youre hiring a car which is what i did, fantastic staff team who were friendly and helpful , and a gym on site too. Clean hotel with good food choices.

This hotel is definitely NOT 4 star. It isn’t even worth a 2 star rating. Booked in for 11 nights, but it’s so diabolical that we’ve booked flights home after just 3 days. The website is deceiving and blatant lying. The hotel is falling apart and dirty with rooms in a disgusting state. The restaurant can only be described as a derelict canteen serving up substandard food not worthy of a soup kitchen. Staff are miserable and not polite and the management of this outfit clearly don’t have a clue about customer service. They are happy to take your cash off you, but what you get in return is a substandard prison like experience. Take heed and don’t be tempted to visit this place. The website is a blatant misrepresentation , borderline untruthful. In addition, outside the hotel, there is nothing worth visiting unless you want to sit in a bar all day long drinking.

We did not actually stay in any of these apartments. These are rental apartments overlooking the beach and promenade. The wall facing the beach is covered in these Azaleas. They are classic old style but very pretty as viewed from outside. The sign outside suggests mostly German owned holiday rental homes.

I can only describe this hotel as adequate. It's a little dilapidated but has all the basic amenities and the layout is good. It's small so the food selection isn't great and the quality wasn't great either. The location is good with easy access to the beach and shops/restaurants nearby. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. For a budget holiday it's fine.

Rooms very dark, otherwise fit for purpose. It is not the biggest selection of food, but we have said that isn't a bad thing. Food is good for what is on offer. I'm not impressed that drinks ( tea and coffee) are extra at evening meal. Grounds tidy. Kids with huge inflatables should be banned from lower pool as there are two others. Otherwise, it's better than expected. Would we stay again? Yes, definitely.

Glad we trusted the positive reviews. We arrived at about 12:30 and our room was ready. The pools are lovely, the rooms have all you need, and there's a laundry room too (you do have to pay which is fair). Staff were friendly and helpful, couldn't have been nicer. The location is great, near beaches, restaurants, and shops. Taxi rank and bus stop right outside. The location itself is surprisingly quiet but my only negative is the noise in the room. If you have noisy people next door like we did you'll want some earplugs. It's a clean place that's good value for money and would suit most people. Overall would definitely recommend.

Lovely large complexe, with 3 separate pool areas although we only used the one nearest to the block we were staying in. Lovely restaurant with buffet style so you can pick and choose what you want with the menu being in reception in the morning so you can plan accordingly. 10 min walk from 2 beaches, and a stones throw away from shops and restaurants. Whilst there is 2 wheel chair ramps at the entrance one to get up the main entrance steps and one to get into the reception, I didn't see any access in the mansion side of the complex, with stairs from the poolside up to the rooms, and access to the restaurant being by stairs.

Great location, close to the resort centre, rooms could do with a bit of a revamp and no aircon so can get a bit warm. Great shared facilities with the Nazaret apartamentos. Safes free in the rooms, which is handy. Large 10kg washing machine and dryer available for use in the tunnel area between the two apartment blocks for €4 as are lockable left luggage lockers. Showers are available in the tunnel too to use before heading home.

Hotel has a good location away from any hustle and has a spacious and free parking right in front of it. Those who are not comming by car might struggle to get to a nearest bust stop as the main road is quite far away, but that is the price for being in a rural area. Hotel consists of small villas, ours had 3 rooms, but as every villa looks the same from the outside, I guess it is a standard. Place is spacious, with private terrace, ours had sea view, which added nice touch to a morning coffee. The rooms are showing signs of age and wear, the furniture is old and the beds are far from being comfortable and are noisy as they are spring-based. The hotel's staff members are a welcoming and accommodating. Throughout our stay, they consistently displayed a warm and helpful attitude, which added a positive touch to our experience. Hotel has a swimming pool and while it is not extraordinary, the swimming pool area served its purpose. One downside was the children's pool as it was closed during our stay. There is also a children's playground, but it consists of only a basic equipment. There is also a restaurant and a bar but we didn't attend either. One of the neat features of this hotel is its access to a oceanfront promenade, allowing us to take strolls by the ocean and enjoy breathtaking views of waves hitting the cliffs and sunsets.

Great place on the water with spaced out villas and a central pool with restaurant. The included breakfast was great. Location is away from the main area of town, great if you have a car or want peace and quiet. Staff helpful too. Our room had a slightly leaky roof in one room which wasn't a problem as there is little rain on the island. Stove top was not strong enough to cook quickly if you are self catering. All up a really enjoyable stay.

Great wee find of a complex. Beautiful vistas and walks along the sea front. Not far to local cafes, bars and shop. Staff are Great, especially Carlos who managers the dining area. As this complex is self catering would suggest you ensure you get juice, milk, tea and coffee for the villa. Dinner is limited but very tasty and good choice of meat and fish with plenty of salad. Remember you have to pay for any drinks including tea and coffee with your evening meal.

“The House of cucaracha” The villas look very nice on pictures but don’t get fooled. The whole complex is old and it shows. The villa where we were accommodated had very old /rusty kitchen, the fridge was dirty, the beds were not very comfortable,the bedsheets and the duvets were dirty ( something brownish like blood). The vila as well as the surroundings were dirty / moldy/rusty. There were cigarette buds around the vila. But the worst were the cockroaches - elephant sized cockroach welcomed us 1st night in the bathroom. One night, we had to kill 7 cockroaches. We didn’t feel safe at all. The explanation of the staff was - “You know, Australia has kangaroos, we have cucarachas. They are very common here.” But it was not completely truth, as we were also accommodated at a different place and there were exactly 0 of them. Apart from that, the place is very quite and what we appreciated was the ocean view. The breakfast was also tasty and the staff was nice. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who is afraid of insects or who would like to enjoy active night life.

Villa's are very spacious with just about every thing you need,although the cups and glasses are very small, so if you like a nice mug of tea/coffee then bring your own 😀. The whole complex could definitely benefit from a bit of tlc as it's looking a bit tired,but it's generally clean and tidy and the staff all seem friendly. The location is a bit of a mixed bag, it's away from the main town so it's lovely and quiet but it's a hike if you want the buzz of the town. Some lovely places to eat around 5 mins walk away (across some waste ground, don't be put off) along with a couple of very reasonable priced supermarkets and the bus stop for the local bus to the town. (no 30). Buffet breakfast (all you can eat and drink) was really good, no complaints.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Villa Canaima. The complex is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The room was spacious and extremely well equipped. The balcony overlooking the pool was fantastic. The lady at reception was so kind and even let us keep our room past the check out time, to save us having to store our luggage. Nelly provides a great service at the poolside bar, with excellent cocktails and great food. I would highly recommend Villa Canaima and we would definitely book here again when returning to Lanzarote.

Clean & friendly accomodation. The rooms are small but functional. Nice touch is the free use of a safe & Air conditioning. A big problem is the reservation of sunbeds, often before 8am, mainly by returning guests who ignore the rules listed on the information sheet. Some guests reserve 4 beds for only 2 guests all day long but only use them for an hour, disgraceful & selfish behaviour.

Another 5 Star holiday at Villa Canaima. Just back from another visit to Matagorda. Stayed yet again at Villa Canaima. Keep going back to this fantastic little spot. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Fantastic location. Great to see some of the same people back again. It's becoming a home away from home. Icing on the cake is Nelly's bar. Amazing service from Nelly made a huge difference this year being able to get some food and the "odd" drink until 6 or 7pm. Have already booked 2 weeks for next year. Can't wait to go back. Really is a gem of a place but like everyone that comes and stays here they almost want to keep it on the downlow so they can make sure they can get a place again. I'm summary another 5 star break in this little 2 star resort. But dont tell anyone about it Thanks to Lisset, Nelly and all the staff for your amazing service. See you next year

Great experience at Villa Canaima! The apartment was clean and larger than expected, there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets, lots of storage, multiple available lounge chairs at the pool, and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. The WiFi was fast, and the staff were all very friendly and helped book a taxi to the airport, which arrived right on time. The kitchen was stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, etc. as well as a 2 ring hob, microwave, and full size fridge. The only thing I’d suggest would be to replace the pans as the non stick coating had been scratched off and perhaps include some salt and butter in the kitchen, and hand soap in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, with a nice firm mattress, and it was nice and quiet at night. The air conditioning in the bedroom took a while to cool the room down but I slept well once I learned to turn it on in advance. Self check in was easy and straightforward and the biggest perks were definitely the location and option for late check out. The complex is just a 5 minute walk from the nearest beach, 7 minutes from a little supermarket, and 5 minutes from the Matagorda Ida bus stop (which you can take to Pocillos beach and along Puerto del Carmen). Overall, great value and I would definitely recommend :)

Perfect stay, perfect appartement in beautiful enviroment. Calm and quiet but close to everything you need. Short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We absolutely recommend this wonderful place and will stay at Villa Canaima next time.
