Honest review of this hotel after reading many mixed reviews. Location is fabulous right in the old town, about 15 min walk to promenade, there are steps (quite a lot) to get to hotel or there is an incline walk for those able. We are couple late 20s/early 30s and this did not bother us. The hotel itself, we found it very clean, pool was cleaned most if not every morning, it is very cold. As we went mid October we had loads of loungers and parasols so this wasn't an issue for us and pool bar is also ok for drinks and snacks. Breakfast is very good value, we stayed self catering and enquired about breakfast on arrival for the 2 of us for the week was €44! Couldn't believe it and good selection of hot, cold, fruits, yogurts etc. so definitely recommend this. The rooms, yes dated, beds not the best, we found 3 cockroaches throughout our stay in the bathroom. The biggest thing for us was the lack of air con, the fans in the room were just awful. I genuinely don't know how people survive this in the summer months. So a few nights no sleep for us with the heat as it was unbearable. The shower was very powerful and loads of hot water. Nice chairs and table in the small balcony. Would I stay again? No - Only on the pretense of air con. The hotel is generally good and if you're not expecting much from a 3* hotel and you don't mind sweating at night 🤣 then go for it!

Great location for old town and only around 10 minute walk to the strip. You can walk down to old Town in 2 minutes. Loads of food /bars to choose from. Apartments were basic, no AC, fans were installed. Room was clean enough and the staff did a great job of cleaning. The place is showing it's age a bit, but it is ok for the price. Pool was good, some wear and team and a queue for the loungers. We were in the third tier, so had to climb around 65 steps from the road to get back. I got fitter! but it might not suit anyone who can't climb. Would recommend a terrace not balcony if you can get it, even though people can walk past, during the day you get the shade of the balcony above you.

we stopped over Christmas, it was last minute so there wasn't much left. we booked breakfast on arrival that worked out at only £3 each a day, it was basic but decent, everything you needed, warm and well cooked. right the hotel needs some serious renovation's, its really dated and hasn't had any money spent on it in years! they really need to rip down all the horrible holey yellow curtains, looks like somebody has been chain smoking solid for 10 years! it does smell like weed most days but that's not the hotels fault! we only booked self catering so for what we needed it was ok, to sleep and a base to enjoy Puerto del carmen, we spent most of our time at the beach and walking. the pool is absolutely freezing, on arrival there was 5 black ducks in the pool haha. the good points, location is absolutely fantastic, the views if you book a room with a view is the best view we've ever had in any hotel we've ever stopped in, room was cleaned 3 times in 7 days with fresh towels when needed. unfortunately there's no lifts so its about 150+ steps, so if you're not good on your feet or have little ones and prams then these rooms are a definite no! it kept me and my family fit for a week, now my calf's are like concrete lol. it is a real shame, back in it's hay day, i bet this hotel was fantastic, just needs (a lot ) of money spending on it.

Exceptionally clean, and wonderful views but dated decor. With faded apartment pictures, original clean 80's curtains, mismatched furniture including old dresser, oversized electrical equipment for tiny kitchen units and painted or badly applied silicone patched bathtubs with shower curtain. Functional but needs modernisation throughout. The pool tiles definitely needs attention. I only used the pool once (for core temperature relief from the 37°C heat) during my fortnightly stay due to uneven cement surrounding the pool and the tens of reviews on various websites about the missing, broken and jagged mosaic pool floor tiles.

I spent a week in the BelleVue Aquarius. I have to admit I was a little apprehensive based on some of the reviews I read, but the value couldn't go ignored. The place could do with a fair bit of TLC and modernisation. Aside from that, the staff were very friendly and attentive, everything in our room worked perfectly and there was nothing wrong with the buffet food served as part of the all inclusive package. I would however advise that there can be a lot of steps involved in getting to and from your room, so if this is an issue for you make sure you advise the staff when checking in and see if the can get you a room on the same level as Reception. I would also advise bringing a pair of swim shoes if you're intending on using the pool. There are lots of tiles missing from the pool and concrete around the pool is deteriorating. So, it might be a little rough around the edges, but the value and service you get is great and it's location is perfect as it's right beside the harbour and is near to the bars and restaurants.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment. The sea view from our private terrace was amazing. There was a table & chairs plus a sun lounger which was great for undisturbed sunbathing. There was also a door that led to a balcony. The kitchen was equipped with basic amenities but we needed to buy tea & coffee etc plus washing up items. We had a couple of issues such as the door handle coming off the entrance door, the TV not working and the broken sun lounger but these were all resolved very quickly the same day. The aircon wasn't really necessary as the wind blew through the apartment when windows were opened, which was a blessing! Housekeeping came most days but towels and bedding weren't changed often. The hotel was clean and modern and there were plenty of sun loungers around the pool.

Spotless apartment. Slightly dated, but comfy. Shower curtain sticking to you is a pain, but hey ho . Tidy grounds & oh so quiet. Efficient and good buffet breakfast's. Massive Spar shop right next door for all the essentials. Happy enough with this place . Relatively close to a bus stop too.

Don't be put off by negative reviews. I was really worried previous reviews but it was lovely! We arrived late at night and they had snacks and water ready for us, we were also upgraded to a larger apartment which was perfect. Apartments are dated and could do with a deep clean but they were fine! Food was good, there was a nice variety of healthy foods and they changed each night. Location is great, spar right beside hotel, across road from the beach and 20 mins walk into PDC. Overall we were really happy with our stay.

Very dated apartments,Large but that didn't make up for not having a balcony , which was on booking form , asked for a move, late arrival told next day would better,but no luck.housekeeping can't complain even though it was too early every morning! Bit of walk to nearest bars restaurant, OK if you're fit and used to walking! Puerto del Carmen is definitely bus or taxi ride, beach right opposite, won't be coming this area again .

Recently returned from our 2nd stay at costa mar, apartments very spacious, we were in block E which had a lovely sea view. Upon arrival the staff upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment which was a lovely surprise, our balcony was huge, staff lovely, clean facilities didn't eat in restaurant this time. Good location will definitely return.

Went here in December, Rooms are basic but functional no real complaints with them, the only issue we had was the AC seems to be disconnected at this time of year. Restaurant and food is diabolical, we had to eat out every day and night. I'm not a fussy eater but it was absolute garbage. Really disappointing and was an issue the whole holiday for the whole family. Several other guests agreed who we spoke to. The location is good, with quite a nice walk into town if you are fit. Best advice I could give you is don't go AI, it's not worth it at all. It's fine as a base camp but that's it. We've been to the island several times and there is much better hotels offering far superior service for the same price. We wouldn't go again to this one. Lesson learned.

Good value for money hotel. Enjoyed the All inclusive buffet, food changed and was tasty. Two pools is a bonus. Downside was air cons not on during off peak season (wasn't clear when booking), the gym was shut permanently (likely to be open during summer) and the front desk staff are not super friendly. But overall good stay, in November.

I stayed at this place way back in July 2007 when I was only 9 with family. So writing this review and giving it a rating is really out of sentiment, since there will no doubt have been changes over the years. Based on my memory, I remember this place being a very good place to stay for both adults and kids. The breakfast buffets were always very good. The room was pretty standard with a ground floor balcony overlooking C.Tomillo (street name) towards the beach. The swimming pool was also fun with a bridge crossing over it. I hope this place is still doing well.

Staff and rooms fine, breakfast is the same most days, with ques for toast. Pools fine even thou folks had towels out before it opened. If you have rooms 425 426 325 326 you can't open your bedroom window without the noise( entertainment) goingnon past 11pm then the smokers hang outside this area, with some liking a noisy chat before heading away. The fault really for the money are the above mentioned rooms, everything else was fine.

Having read some reviews before our arrival, I was a little worried about what type of experience we would have. I can't fault it, I'm pleased to say. I had requested that due to reduced mobility if possible that I didn't have to walk up steps to my room, this request was honoured by putting me in a lovely apartment, with no steps & close to the pool, restaurant & bar, I couldn't have asked for more. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. They had so much choice & were always replenishing it. We stayed by the quieter pool which was lovely & there were always plenty of sunbeds. The only negative for me was the 3 cats I saw wandering around, but apart from that, my experience at Livvo Morromar was a good one & I would happily go back & hope to do so soon.

The main point is, you get what you pay for. Nice clean hotel but rooms are basic, dated and no Aircon. The 2 room issues we had were resolved within a day. Staff were excellent, more than helpful and willing. Wide selection of food at all meals. Only negative here was food wan never hot, more warm or tepid so the microwave was necessary. Long queues for tea/coffee machines,. Could do with more less complicated machines. Taxi to town (The Strip) €5 to €8 or a 30 min walk in downhill or 50 min walk back, mostly hill. Overall acceptable place, great staff,

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations . The decor was incredibly outdated, and rather than giving off a nostalgic charm, it just looked worn down and dirty. The rooms seemed to be in disrepair, with furniture showing visible signs of age and wear. The beds were uncomfortable, which made for a less-than-restful night's sleep. The towels provided were old and ragged, further contributing to the sense of neglect. To make matters worse, the chair covers had clearly not been cleaned in some time. For an all-inclusive 3-star hotel, I expected at least the minimum standard of cleanliness and comfort, but this place missed the mark entirely. The overall condition of the hotel made it feel more like a budget option rather than something that should be considered a respectable stay. Definitely not up to par for the price. I would not recommend this hotel unless there are significant improvements made.

Great hotel, rooms basic but clean, cleaned every other day. Great selection of food at breakfast and lunch 😋 We ate out in the evening 😋 Staff very friendly and helpful. Bit of a treck up hill from the old town but this wasn't an issue for us. Definitely be back, thanks for a great week 💯💥💯💥💯

nice, quiet hotel. Rooms were tidy and cleaned every 2 days. All staff were a joy, particularly bar staff. Drinks on the all inclusive were of a wide range and tasted as you’d expect. only slight let down was the limited range of food at the hotel, although the quality of the food wasn’t awful. quite far walking to the main part of PDC but very accessible with a taxi only taking 5 or so minutes. The area surrounding is very hilly so not ideal for people who have mobility issues. overall, a good experience with only the food slightly knocking the score. Would recommend.

this was our second stay and we loved our second stay at this lovely apartments staff were so nice, couldn't do enough for us. Jose on the desk is so nice and helpful. Bobby in the bar is such a gentleman, helpful and kind with the best smile, he would just make your day. I just wish it was closer to the strip. but taxi is easy to get. rooms could do with an update but very clean We will be back

We’ve just returned from a stay at Blue Sea Costa Teguise Gardens and it was an experience to say the least. If you're considering this hotel, I strongly suggest you lower your expectations. The rooms are very outdated, no AC, and the mattresses are sat off the floor on what to be looked like ironing boards. The hotels main problem is it attracts a very specific type of clientele. Picture groups of people and family's straight out of a Jeremy Kyle show—loud, rude, swearing around children abusing the all-inclusive drinks all day and completely uncaring about anyone around them. It made the whole atmosphere unbearable at times and for that reason we spent every day on trips out or to the beach away from the hotel. As for the food, although it was edible. It was a bland, unappetising mess—chips and bread were the only things you could reliably count on. Everything else was just slop. We don’t mind basic food, but this was below even that standard. If you’re booking this at a very very cheap price, you might be able to tolerate it, but DO NOT book through a holiday company or travel agent that hikes up the price. We paid nearly £1900 for 5 nights here, and it wasn’t worth a quarter of that. It was a complete rip-off. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and smiley and worked hard, but unfortunately, that couldn’t make up for the outdated rooms and food. Definitely not a place we will be returning to. It would be classed as a 2 star in the UK.

Service overall was very good. Samara and Eli on Reception were fantastic, nothing was too much for them, very professional. Hamza barman of a night was very efficient and friendly. Our maid Pepi was lovely, would always knock the door 1st. She did a great job, room was always spotless.

There’s no specific reason for the 4 star but didn’t think a 5 star rating was required because it wasn’t the best of the best. Me and my partner wanted a get away over new year without the kids and this came up the lowest priced. Which was then all inclusive! Not something we were looking for ideally. From the outside and in some places it could be taken as a 4 star (I’ve stayed in some dives). The reception was clean, the staff were lovely and the cleaners cleaned up every other day. Never felt like our belongings were at any risk too. The food wasn’t the best but I’m actually very fussy. It was toast for breakfast and chips and bread for dinner. I never fancied anything other than that. There were a few things my partner went for but personally I wouldn’t touch. We decided to eat out each night though because of the food. It was just a batter choice. We didn’t take advantage of the all inclusive alcohol as we’re not huge drinkers but had some coca-cola or sprite in the day. The Entertainment wasn’t amazing. Felt sort of like a low budget hotel entertainment. We only watched a little on 2 of the nights. It was a little disturbing when the drag act took their clothes off while changing out of their makeup. Felt a little like ‘WTF did we just watch!’ The Pool area was okay. Sun loungers were unlocked around 10am but should definitely be earlier as people are waiting around and the sun is out. People just want to chill out! The pool seemed quite clean. Normally, I speak to a lot of people round the pool area but it felt very much like no one wanted to speak to each other. Another guest also made the same comment to me. The area is quite nice. It’s out of the way of all the hustle and bustle of the square, but not too far of a walk. If you can find the short cut paths down to the beach/square. They are stoney paths. Would probably return again if it was a really good deal but not paying a lot of money.

The staff can't do enough for you, they work so hard and always with a smile. Spotlessly clean. Rooms are adequate but a little dated, typical Spanish electrics. Can't hide the fact that it's looking a bit tired. The food started off great but is there a different chef on the weekend as it became inedible. All in all, would I go back, probably not, but not for any lack of effort from the staff, the bosses need to invest some money into renovating the facilities, even then. It's a bit of a hike to the main square if you're retired, like us, otherwise a taxi is only five minutes out or you're a bit younger. However, for what we paid, it was tremendous value for money.!

We stayed here on a 4 day trip, 2 adults, Thursday - Monday We arrived a bit later than expected due to a flight delay. On arrival the reception staff were helpful and efficient. The young lady on the desk checked us in, gave us our wrist bands and our room key and showed us a map to our room. She explained meal times and the fact that we needed a euro deposit for a plastic cup. We walked to our room which was up on the third floor. We opened the door and it was hot and a bit stuffy but it had been a hot day so we just opened the sliding door to the balcony and the windows.. and looked for the air con - which there isn't - and panic set in a bit because it was really really hot.. however with the bedroom windows wide open there was a lovely breeze throughout.. however every now and then there is a bit of a whiff of sewer.. but it goes as quickly as it comes and isn't a huge deal We went to the bar and got a drink and then decided to call it a night as we had a long day travelling. Breakfast on Friday morning was not great at all. We were down for breakfast as soon as it opened and most of the food was cold. We quickly discovered that as the food was cycled what was coming out was hot.. so first piece of advice.. don't go for your meal as soon as it opens as the food won't be hot. The sunbeds are locked until 10 - however they are unlocked about 9.45 or so.. but in lieu of sunbeds being reserved the chairs from the pool bar are moved into the spots people want and then exchanged for sunbeds when they're unlocked. We were a bit late to the party on the Friday morning but there was loads of space for us to put a couple beds - this may not be the case during peak season but given we are just out of season it wasn't a problem. Lunch on Friday was the best meal we have had so far... however the lamb chops that were freshly cooked on Friday lunch time have since featured Friday evening at dinner in a sauce, and then they appeared AGAIN Saturday lunch time looking worse for wear again in a different sauce.. the same thing with the pork ribs that were first featured Friday lunch and again Friday dinner and Saturday lunch - all in different forms.. other guests had complained to reception about the quality of the food and were told that there are restaurants a short walk from the hotel if they didn't like the food. The evening entertainment is twice a week on Sunday and Thursday - again this may be because we are just out of season but on the evenings in between there is bingo, but this is paid at €5 each. Breakfast is hit or miss.. sausages that are a little too pink inside for our liking and pancakes on one day.. The pool bar looks nothing like pictures that appear on the booking sites.. they serve a couple cocktails but there is nothing saying about them, we had to ask.. the snacks are rolls made from the ones that were out for breakfast and a few pastries, also from breakfast - and once they're gone they're gone. The other pictures that the hotel provide to the booking sites are also questionable.. and a bit dated. The seats by the pool bar are not those shown, the booking site also shows a sauna and hot tub.. they're not here.. another booking site also showed a squash court.. which isn't here. The garden part of the hotels name is not quite as good looking as the pictures show. And while we appreciate that hotels have to upsell themselves, some of the pictures being used are just misleading. We managed to get this hotel free using rewards from a booking site - however if I had paid for the hotel I would be really upset.. it was just a weekend away for my wife and I but there is nothing for children here.. Sorry to say we won't be returning.

I've just spent 4 days with my family in THB Flora hotel in Lanzarote and was so impressed! We all had such a wonderful time. Everything was fabulous..the room was spacious and clean..lovely pool and bar, the food served in the restaurant absolutely delicious and service outstanding. Over rated hotel you'll be lucky to get a hello or good bye from the staff makes you feel. Unwelcome. Food in restaurant is average. The maintenance men and cleaners are great they dont stop. Disappointed to be honest. Be careful of your food especially chicken they served it raw on a pizza. Shown it to the staff and they didn't really careless. If your breakfast and evening meal you have to buy your drinks with evening meal terrible. You spen all that money on a family holiday and they wont more Definitely will not stay at this place again

Decent hotel, we only stayed self catering and were out and about a lot but the accommodation was fine - clean and tidy and well maintained. Had a look around the hotel side of the complex, pool looked nice and had shops etc on site.

First time here, arrived late. They had some bags of food for us. ( nice touch). Rooms great, had 2 studios loads of space, tea and coffee, flat screen TV. Hotel is 5- 10 min walk from everything, ignore "heart attack" hill, says more about the bone idle. Been impressed with this place. Food is very good.

Where to start the staff at this hotel are very unhelpful at best. The man on reception was so not helpful almost rude, The room was big bathroom was nice but my god the nose from the road was like living in a town. Coaches , buses, lorrys and cars going up & down 24/7 . The pool doesn't open till 10am and then the bar was supposed to open at 10.30 good luck maybe 10.55 if your lucky.

Absolutely lovely hotel, felt more like a village! The serenity area where we stayed is incredibly well looked after beautiful plants and clean areas! Very friendly staff and cleaners! Pool was perfect super relaxed and quiet. Lovely English pub next door to hotel which is fab. Area is a bit out of the way but that’s no fault against the hotel! Will absolutely be back again this year

We stayed here earlier this year and thought it was great! We stayed serenity side which was so relaxing. Breakfast was fabulous with everything you could think of to eat for breakfast time. Staff were always helpful and friendly and were there to help if needed. We had such a lovely time at the hotel we are back again in November! This time trying out the other side of the hotel! We travel a lot throughout the year and this hotel really does stand out, being adult only, peaceful and good food and lovely staff. Very clean, cleaners were always cleaning around the hotel it was spotless. Well done

Generally good hotel with no major flaws. Some small ones of course are there. I confirm unbelievably clean rooms. I confirm tasty fresh and various food at breakfast and dinner (however some hotels of same segment offers a bit more generous choice). Good, clean and comfortable beds. Clean pool and we never saw any sunbed wars around it. Terribly slow wifi (but this is not a problem of this particular hotel, it is more or less similar issue everywhere on the Canary Islands). Polite and quick reception people. (At the same time our report that water in the shower runs out toooo slow was not attracted too good attention). Generally good and relaxing atmosphere. Quiet safe and nice around. Especially would like to express our sincere thanks to "invisible people" - restaurant staff, kitchen staff and the Cleaners. You really making main positive impression about the whole hotel.

Had a lovely week here, 12-19 December 2024, in the Serenity side. Lovely quiet apartments, shame about some of the adults who felt they had to talk really loudly around the pool (I could hear every word!). Our neighbours above us weren't so considerate arguing and throwing stuff about at 4.30am. The walls are very thin, too. Comfy beds and everything you need is provided, including washing up liquid, tea towel, shampoo, and body wash. I don't think we should have to pay extra for a safe either, but we did. Good breakfast and nice coffee. Some unhappy looking staff but we don't know what they have to put up with.

Just back from a fabulous week at Siroco. Everything was amazing. The hotel was spotless. The staff never stop and are so friendly & attentive. It was my husband’s birthday & our first wedding anniversary while we were there and the staff went out of their way to make us feel special. The breakfast was fab. We never go back to the same place twice but this time we’ll make an exception. We can’t wait to return to Siroco.

This place is more than okay but less than great. Nothing stood out as being bad, but equally nothing was incredible or exciting about the place. It's a very basic resort and if you're not looking for anything fancy, this is definitely a solid choice. Also, there's no air con in the rooms (but the website doesn't say that there is). I went in winter but I'd imagine the heat would get too much in summer.

We had a week stay here in Oct and the hotel itself was really lovely and immaculately clean. Rooms are a good size my only downside was no air con, you are given a fan but one fan for a kitchen, living area and bedroom would not touch the sides in the hotter months we just about found it okay an could sleep. The staff are amazing so friendly and amazing with children, my little boy took a real liking to Dora and he loved their nightly mini disco they also have a kids club but he was too young to leave this year. Location fabulous stone throw from a supermarket, beach, playground and lots of bars and restaurants. Overall really pleased

Staff were lovely and couldn't fault them ! So polite and happy to help. I only had bed and breakfast, which i was very happy with (wasn't too much) The location of the hotel is pretty perfect as well, right next to shops and the beach :) This would be a great hotel for kids as the entertainment looked pretty good for them Only downsides really were - The rooms shower leaked horrendously, you can't even angle it away to stop it (the pressure on the shower is incredible, though !) - The WiFi really is poor and it cuts you off constantly - Also randomly the pool seems to close at 7 and doesn't reopen till 10, I haven't had this at another hotel so thought it was a bit odd (as the hotel was so close to the beach this didn't really bother me to much personally) Overall, it was a nice hotel, basic but nice :) very clean as well

We've stayed at their sister hotel Hotel Siroco twice so had high hopes for this place. Great location on the beach and a few minutes walk from the centre. The hotel itself is possibly a little jaded & tired, but adequate and well priced. The rooms have no aircon which was OK for us in mid December, but I can imagine it would get uncomfortable in Summer heat. Buffet breakfast was decent quality with a great choice. As with most places its the staff who make the difference & I've nothing but good things to say about all of them. Thank you all

Great hotel. Food top class. Only downside is no lift where we were. And no air-conditioning. But a fan in the room. Rooms are large. So over all great place to be.

The Hotel is old and Tired. It is a good 30 minute walk to the town but the views are spectacular. The staff are friendly enough. Food is terrible but what do you expect for a budget hotel. All these you can take in your stride but not offering a shower facility for guests with after check out flights is unforgivable , it's been a long time since I've had to change in a bathroom and not have a shower before boarding an evening flight .shocking 🙃

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were fantastic and very helpful, always smiling. The food was plentiful and always fresh. The rooms were good, the only thing is they could do with a bit of an update but it absolutely did not bother me. If you want somewhere easy, friendly and low key, this is it. Lovely pool, right by the ocean. The girls doing the entertainment were amazing, so much fun.

I stayed here for one week with my girlfriend and we absolutely had the best holiday . The all inclusive food was so good . So fresh and so much choice everyday. The barstaff were so good . The girls who did the entertainment were fantastic and so friendly and fun ,we got involved in all the daytime activities everyday at the pool because of them. We met some characters here which was an added bonus . Good location and a regular bus service . Nice restaurants nearby if you wanted to eat out . The private beach was lovely . We went for a dip every morning . The on site spa was an added bonus ,we paid extra for massages and it was well worth it .

We went with our two teenage kids 15,17 years old. The family room was not really suitable for us .The rooms and facilities are a bit dated. The whole place could do with a revamp. Rain water ce through the restaurant roof , gutter system just bodghed together. You weren't allowed to take any food or drinks to your rooms. The food was ok, but need to crisp the bacon up as was almost raw. Could do with a fridge or tea making facilities in the room. The entertainment was awful but made you laugh at how bad it was. Didn't go in the pool as it was very cold. The sea was warmer but not easy to get into because of all the rocks. I would probably stay further up the cost at Flamingo Bay if I went again.

Just spent a week at the resort. Very mixed feelings about the experience, having read the reviews before we arrived we were very sceptical. Some of the points we read were 100% accurate and can’t disagree with. Good location to be fair and the weather was glorious and the view from the pool area is stunning, sea is hard to swim in as currents around the rocky shore is strong and isn’t an easy walk to the sea. Swimming pool was freezing most days one of the days it was bearable to get in but it was the warmest day. Pool bar always quick to get drinks and waiters come and clear the empty glasses fairly quickly. Food was not good, very limited choice and very repetitive, seem to cater for the French and German guests over the English. Lunch was probably the best choice of food and quality. Breakfast isn’t English either and not even similar so went to bills 10 minute walk up the road ( breakfast there was insane ) and only €5 for a full English. Most of the staff were pleasant but there were a few that were rude and abrupt. They talk to you if you are French Spanish or German not very friendly to the English. The evening entertainment ( well if you can call it that ) is not worth wasting your evening going too, always late to start, no organization at all very very amateur at best, it was error after error on every night we went. Again if your French Spanish or German they engage with you other wise no, and when they do quizzes they tell you the answers in either French or Spanish. Very very heavily French and German and Spanish populated and found these people very rude and arrogant and just found them staring at the English all the time, the French stood out to me as being intolerable and no consideration for anyone else, its put me off even wanting to visit France. Rooms are clean and beds comfy and we had a nice terrace area on the ground floor which is a bit dated but we found the room fine. Only saw 1 cockroach on our terrace the whole time saw more little geckos than anything else, oh yeah and the local hedgehogs! It’s a cheap and cheerful hotel really don’t expect luxury. For us it was the people really who spoilt it in a way and also the food and staff. Location and weather were the really positive points and meeting some friendly English people too. Oh and a special mention to Katarina who does the car hire she was really nice and gave us a good deal on our mini convertible for 2 days. Also don’t get taxis from the hotel as they are perverts and make you feel very uncomfortable. 2/5 for hotel experience 5/5 for making our holiday fun in our own way.

Great clean room, we stayed in the self catering part of the hotel. Apartment was very spacious and clean with all what you'd expect, cooking and cleaning tools. Great balcony view of the chill out area and beach. Staff are very pleasant and helpful providing all the info you need to have a trouble free holiday. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Overall, nice place, although accessible bathroom a joke, floor is always soaked throughout after a shower & is lethal when wet. Pedal bins should be emptied daily. Apart from horrendous hill this is at the top of, apartments & staff , very pleasing.

Just back from our 10 night stay. The hotel itself was lovely and very close to the strip and beach. It’s about a 15 min walk to the old town too. The hotel is situated at the top of what everyone calls ‘cardiac hill’ but it really isn’t that bad maybe if you have a disability you probably would struggle. The hotel does have a side entrance you can access through and then go up lots of steps but the gate closes around 7. Also another way is to enter from the strip at the bottom of the hotel near sun lounge. The rooms are bright, clean and modern we loved the room and we were very pleased as we was near the pool area. The only thing with the room was mopping up every time we took a shower. The hotel doesn’t like inflatables in the pool or said no ball games but people did have balls in pool and the pool staff didn’t seem to mind. Sun beds were taken very early but the staff removed towels if they were left unattended for long. The only reason why we wouldn’t return to this hotel is because the pool was absolutely freezing!

Nice hotel. Friendly staff . . Right on cardiac hill. . . Pool was good to cool down when it was roasting hot . . Had a great time. But the only complaint was the towels round the pool . Some days hotel staff would remove them if guests left them.. maybe yous should've done this all the time rather when it suited you's . . As people could have been away for hrs and nothing would be done . But yet others would be lifted within minutes of them leaving the hotel. . Team meeting I think and make sure yous all work off the same hym sheet . .

The apartments are rubbish. Don't bother staying there, well over priced for what it is. The pictures do not reflect the actual apartments either. There is no shop on site and the bar is not what appears on the photos. We paid for 2 adults and an 11yr old. When arrived we was told to pay another 25euros a night as an 11yr old actually counts as an adult. We received no extra bed and in the end I had to buy a camp bed for my daughter to sleep on. Very very disappointing place and will never promote a stay here or be staying here again.

We have just returned home after 14 nights at the bungalows. We last stayed here about 8 years ago and were told that a refurbishment process was under way. This was not before time, as the kitchenette was falling apart, with doors falling off and tired equipment. These problems have not been fixed, and in our bungalow, number 61, the bathroom has to be added to the list of problems. The cast iron bath had rusted through along the side lip. On talking to staff, no refurbishment is planned! Such a pity, as the staff are all great and the bungalows kept clean. The restaurant is currently closed for refurbishment, it looks very nice. Meanwhile, the pool bar supplies snacks, which are well priced and tasty. The location is good too, for beach, restaurants, and local supermarkets. When we stayed 8 years ago, the wear and tear was offset by a low price, just £125 a week, this time it was closer to £500! Prices do increase, but even with inflation, this is huge. Will we return, not sure, but the location may attract us. Come on owners, we all know you wish to make profits, but your customers deserve better than this! A reply is requested from a senior level please.

Lovely place to stay , cross the road to flamingo beach and some good restaurants. Walk down to Playa Blanca for some other good restaurants, shops or catch the ferry to Corralejo for a day trip. Cleaned regularly by the friendly staff found it very relaxing

Very spacious bungalow, the grounds are very well maintained, some of the things are a bit dated, but everything was super clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Pool is a nice bonus, also there was a ping pong and pool tables. The best thing is the location, it is only a 2 min walk to a great beach. The center and supermarkets are also close by. I’m sure it is hard to find something for a better value in this area, if you are not looking for something special. Staff was very helpful. Would come back

This was our third visit to these apartments. A very small, adult only complex comprising of about 24 apartments. They are very basic studio apartments, an open plan kitchen/bedroom with a bathroom. Nearly all the apartments have either a terrace or balcony over looking the small unheated pool. There are about 12 sun loungers situated around the pool and my only complaint was the early morning sunbed baggers, who would put towels out, then go out for a good few hours preventing other people from using them. We stayed for three weeks and saw a big turnover of guests and they all seemed to want to do it. The apartments themselves are dated with very basic cooking equipment and utensils. A 2 ring hob and a microwave. 3 forks, 3 knives and 3 spoons. 3 cups, plates and 2 bowls. You can ask for more apparently but we managed. The apartments are serviced with a basic clean and towel change once a week and a more thorough clean, bedding and towel change once a week. It’s clean and the beds are very comfy and very quiet at night. We don’t need much moreVery close to the strip, within walking distance of lovely restaurants, bars and the beach, just in case you don’t get up early enough to bag a sunbed. The staff are lovely and assist as much as they can. It ticks all the boxes for us despite being basic. We will definitely return.

I recommend Las Lilas 100%. Intimate, quiet and peaceful. Great owner and nice service. Closest shop across the street another 5 minute walk. Beach, restaurants and bus stop 3 minutes away. Rooms clean and properly equipped. A small disadvantage is the lack of a jug. I highly recommend Las Lilas, the proof is that I returned there after 4 months for another vacation. Lovely apartments, we had app 114 which has mobility scooter accessibility. Pool is rather cold as it doesnt get much sun but is very refreshing! Good size, very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back in the not to distant future. If i was being picky i would say that some areas could do with a little more cleaning but it was more than good. It was my birthday while we were here and i was given a lovely bottle of freixenet as a surprise, which i thought was very sweet of them.

Fabulous quiet complex with friendly staff and a nice pool!! I sent a few emails before our stay which were replied to so quickly. The minute we got to the place to check in we were greeted with a nice staff member. Room was spacious, very clean and basic but ideal. Beds were very comfortable and a fan provided which was great. The complex is gated and it closes early so you need a code to get in which felt very safe. Lovely quiet area and walking distance to both towns. Great place!!

The Room View is the best that you can have, however the rooms are a little dated. This is a great location. It’s close to the main central strip and beach. The grounds here are immaculately kept and the pool is very good - deep around though so flotation devices for kids is a good idea. Having said that the pool area and pool are quiet. The apartment we had was nice if a little tired. It was hot when we were there in August and 3 people so needed an extra fan staff were so helpful and got one straight away. Mosquitoes are an issue if you leave windows open at night for me - rest of family weren’t to bad. Would highly recommend

If you are a 5star all inclusive person this might not be your cup of tea but I think it’s a lovely little accommodation, close to Spar and the beach on a little hill🌊🐚 they also had everything in the kitchen so cooking is easy. Check in and check out was very easy

Lovely, calm place with nice entertainment a few minutes walk from the beach. Great food and almost everyday different cuisine! That’s totally unusual with our previous holidays. One day Iberian cuisine, another Mexican, today was Asian with curry and sushi. A lot of premium products like salmon, prawns, jamon Serrano, etc. Great service, great staff. Even WiFi issue for a couple days (broken fibre in our apartment - servicemen will repair tomorrow) didn’t disturb our lovely time so far. Totally recommend for families with small children!

Only negative we had was the Air Conditioning did not cool the room below 21..we raised this several times and we're told it was working fine, If we could have cooled the room this would have been 5 ⭐ all the way.

Fantastic stay, the rooms were clean and spotless, beds were comfortable. Easy 10 minutes to get to the main bars and shops walking. Food at Hyde park lane was reasonable priced, lots of variety at breakfast and at dinner.We loved breakfast. Pools were clean, we preferred the smaller pool. (Only gripe was the reserving sunbed situation, put your towel out all day and use hardly every. One day no sun beds so kept walking back to room to sunbathe on terrace) Little shop on site not bad pricing. Staff always friendly and helpful from front of house to the cleaners and grounds people. Lovely gardens to walk round. Just a lovely experience and hope to visit again one day.

Really out of the way. They say the pool is heated IT IS NOT ITS FREEZING COLD BALTIC, ended up at the beach most days as the sea is warmer. The rooms are fine no complaints at all there. Beds aren't very comfortable sofa in the living room isn't very comfortable either. WiFi in the room was great All in all we had a grwat time, i didnt eat in the restaurantfelt very awkward and out of place. No music rpund the pool on Christmasday. Kids club isnt great either. .

My fiance and I had the pleasure of staying here last June. What an absolutely stunning resort. From the moment we arrived til the moment we (sadly) had to leave. The bungalow was simply super, we had one away from the main part across the road, fabulous, quiet and beautiful. The food was great and the selection always amazing. Different themes every night and always delicious. The staff were (are) absolutely second to none, my fiance had her 40th birthday whilst we were there and the wonderful people there made the day extra special THANK YOU. I cannot recommend Hyde Park Lane enough. Stay here and you will not be disappointed. Perfect location literally five minutes walk to shops, bars and restaurants and the stunning Los Pocillos beach. We have spent a vacation here for a second time. The Livvo Apartments comprises of a large number of bright, airy apartments on the ground and first floor. The ones on the first floor are reached by outdoor, spiral stairs. The apartments are relatively well equipped with fridge, electric hob and shower. There is a large swimming pool with a smaller, shallow part for children. There are nice ornamental gardens and there is a bar serving drinks and snack meals.  BBQ area and a selection of books available. Free WiFi is available and I'm glad to say the need to log in every time you return or when you switch your phone etc on has been resolved. The rooms are cleaned on a near daily basis and all the staff are all pleasant and a special mention must go to Rosa who is especially cheerful. Overall Livvo Apartments offer GREAT value. Thoroughly recommended.

We just spent 10 nights here and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We were initially a little disappointed as we had hopped for a sea view but the room was perfectly fine with a pool view the only downside was the bedroom was over the kitchen of nicos which was noisy extractor fans etc. The plusses : location is so accessible to the beach the strip shops restaurants. There's a well stocked supermarket across the street. Trying to be positive but difficult . The apartments could be described as 'Traditional ' but in reality are dirty and grotty. There are no lifts so if you have a mobiity problem you will struggle. We had previously requested a ground floor apartment due to partner's difficulty but on arrival told there was none available for 5 days. Apartment given was on the 1st floor, so 3 flights of stairs. No help with cases, partner had to bum shuffle up the steps. Very upsetting and dangerous should thee have been need to evacuate. Due to this and other issues of this place we moved to a different hotel after 2 days so we could enjoy the rest of our holiday. Usually love jet2 but they were no help whatsoever on this occasion.

Rooms very dark, otherwise fit for purpose. It is not the biggest selection of food, but we have said that isn't a bad thing. Food is good for what is on offer. I'm not impressed that drinks ( tea and coffee) are extra at evening meal. Grounds tidy. Kids with huge inflatables should be banned from lower pool as there are two others. Otherwise, it's better than expected. Would we stay again? Yes, definitely.

Great location, close to the resort centre, rooms could do with a bit of a revamp and no aircon so can get a bit warm. Great shared facilities with the Nazaret apartamentos. Safes free in the rooms, which is handy. Large 10kg washing machine and dryer available for use in the tunnel area between the two apartment blocks for €4 as are lockable left luggage lockers. Showers are available in the tunnel too to use before heading home.

Lovely large complexe, with 3 separate pool areas although we only used the one nearest to the block we were staying in. Lovely restaurant with buffet style so you can pick and choose what you want with the menu being in reception in the morning so you can plan accordingly. 10 min walk from 2 beaches, and a stones throw away from shops and restaurants. Whilst there is 2 wheel chair ramps at the entrance one to get up the main entrance steps and one to get into the reception, I didn't see any access in the mansion side of the complex, with stairs from the poolside up to the rooms, and access to the restaurant being by stairs.

Great hotel with a warm and friendly welcome and amazing staff, chatty but not in your face and really helpful. We didn't eat here but the food being served looked really good. A nice 10 minute walk to the main front or on the other direction to the old harbour. The room was spacious and clean with lots of hot water and a good shower, basic cooking facilities (who cares!) but plenty of mugs, plates etc and most importantly a cork screw. Bottle of water in the fridge was a nice touch. Lovely place to hang out in evening with a few drinks, very reasonable prices. Lots of places to relax and change if you are waiting for your pick up after checkout. Tip....if you want a quieter room away from the outside bar as for a room in the rear block. Beautiful outdoor areas with flowers and trees, very well kept.

Fabulous hotel. Great position for the strip or the old town. We have stayed there twice this year and cannot fault it. The rooms are lovely and well supplied for anyone self catering. Everywhere is so clean. We saw our cleaner most days during our 10 day visits, even if it was just with fresh towells. Both pool areas lovely. We have eaten at the hotel both breakfast and dinner, and the food was very nice. Staff very friendly and go beyond to try and help in any way they can. I had a fall during our visit last week, not at the hotel ,but coming back from the strip. Not only did they offer to arrange transport to see a doctor but provided me with crutches so that I was able to enjoy the rest of my holiday. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. We are already looking to book again for next year.

What a lovely apartment complex equally distant from the very lively sea front with all its bouncing bars and great restaurants to the harbour area with a more relaxed feel. The apartments are clean, and most have been modernised recently. The pool area is lovely and we didn't have an issue getting a sunbed (contrary to some reports). Reception staff are great. Housekeeping are fantastic with ready smiles and greetings every time you met one of them. Poolside bar area is clean and the staff are great. We will be back.

Nice apartments but very dated and in need of refurbishment. (Looks like some rooms were refurbished), safe available in room at €2 a day. Flooring damaged, marks on walls, mould in shower, sink cracked, fridge freezer dirty and damaged in areas, cupboards in kitchen damaged, TV didn't work until I fixed aerial. Rubbish under the bed, shaver left on a shelf, dirty and dusty fan, housekeeping not great. Fans in the rooms very good better than aircon. 3 clean pools very cold though with life guards, not big but not busy either. There are no issues with sun loungers and signs saying no reserving but this did happen not sure if they'd remove towels in busy times. Pool bar & restaurant available with good prices, polite staff and good range. Breakfast, dinner & evening meal available at a cost, not expensive. Wednesday unlimited BBQ €15 very good. Reception staff polite and attentive. Gym available. No availability of rooms for late check out but booked shower room which was adequate for change on last day, available locked cases room after check out. Location approx 10-15 minutes walk but down 100 steps (there is a ramp). Taxis readily available for return of required.

Lovely place. Really friendly and helpful reception guy who we really appreciated! 10stars! Had issue with soap dispenser that was dealt with. Booked a day trip for us the minute we arrived and enquired. Helped with all questions/concerns we had. Rooms are spacious enough, there's a bit of a smell in bathroom if you keep windows closed so better make sure you're airing the bathroom. We don't smoke so was a bit annoyed when neighbours smoked in front of their doors as smoke was getting in if we had doors open. We might of been lucky but it was nice and quiet at night time ( went Monday till Friday) tiny gym I haven't had time to use but it's something if you want to have a little session while away. The hotel is on a bit of a hill so if you have mobility issues you might struggle. About 10-15 min from the beach. About the same to bus stop if you going to/from airport. If you take taxi- we paid €16 to go back to airport.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and allowed us to help ourselves to anything we wanted. The rooms were spacious, and all our needs were met. The location was perfect, with a beach right outside. Thank you for your kindness in a stressful situation.

I had a really nice stay here. The room was spacious, the bed/pillow was very comfortable, it was quiet and the curtains blocked out the light well. A kettle would have made the room better as I drink lots of tea but never mind. Breakfast was included and worth getting up early for. They had milk alternatives (soya, oat and almond) which was great for me. I liked their selection of teas as well. The location is pretty and walkable. It's also close to the bus stop for bus 22, which you can easily take to and from the airport (one way ticket was around £1.20). Overall I had a very comfortable stay and would choose this hotel again for sure.

Very nice rooms, very kind and efficient cleaning staff. Personnel at the restaurant are very kind and friendly. Breakfast and dinner are really good and with much choice. Reception staff: some are nice and friendly, others tend to be impolite and even rude with no clear reason (even for answering simple questions). It is a pity because the rest of the experience deserves 5 stars.

We have just returned from Areciffe, Lancelot Hotel. This is the second year that we have decided to pick this hotel. Rooms are nice and clean; pick one with sea view, and you will not regret it. Breakfast is different every day with loads of different dishes to pick from. Staff is very helpful and professional. The only thing that I will recommend will be a toilet brush at the toilet, and, maybe, a kettle with some tea and coffee. AC worked smoothly, same as tv with a couple of channels to pick. The from street was renovated, and now is accessible only for pedestrians and bicycles. Definitely will return.

Excellent hotel considering the price we paid. We went all inclusive and thought that the food was great. Lots of healthy choices and freshly cooked fish and meat. There was porridge available every day too. The dining area was canteen -like but that was to be expected with so many families staying there. We ate outside every meal which was lovely. The apartment was large for 2 people with a fantastic terrace and a sea view. Not ideal for those with poor mobility due to the resort being on a hill and therefore having lots of steps. But this is made clear when you book. The beach is amazing too.

Room - big, spacious and clean. Kitchen available, bathroom is big and clean. Service - great. Location - fantastic. Very close to the beach, lots of local shops, restaurants, swimming pool - all you need. The problems were - small car park and some ants in the room, so kinda woke up with "ants in pants". Bed was comfortable but very squeaky. Still overall good value.

Just returned from this hotel and we loved it, the location is amazing, we spent everyday around the pool or at the beach swimming in the sea. The food was good, there's something for everyone and they had some themed nights to add some variation but it is the usual all inclusive so don't go expecting anything wild. The room was great, we had a terrace which was lovely to sit out on and the room was clean and well maintained. There's plenty to do locally within walking distance including a water park and excursions are arranged from the hotel to go further a field. Drinks were ok, again the usual all inclusive options but quite a few cocktails to chose from compared to some resorts. Entertainment was good and loads on throughout the day and night. We will definitely be returning.

Rooms and complex spotless. AI food offering varied and very good. (Some seats outside if you're lucky) Fizz, wines, lager, and soft drinks self serve. Location to coast prom and beach and bars is excellent. More engagement by staff in eating areas and reception needs to improve even if it's just a smile or greeting. The site is sloped with lots of steps, so it's not suitable if you're fully able bodied. TUI staff were engaged and excellent.

We were quite disappointed by the hotel and would not rate this four stars. The restaurant feels like a school refter and is very large. Built to accommodate as many guests as possible. Furniture is outdated. The food was underwhelming. If you want to eat vegetarian or vegan: forget it. There’s no meat substitutes available and the ‘vegetarian corner’ consists of vegetables only. We ate in the restaurant twice but went out for food most of the times as we weren’t satisfied by the food being served. Service is mehhh. You have to search the restaurant for cutlery. There’s a lot of food on the ground especially around the kids corner. The beverage section at the beginning of the restaurant is closed and covered with a mouldy curtain. The drink area around the pool smells bad. The pool itself is large, however, full of kids. We were happy about the apartment though! The apartment is big enough, has a nice terrace and seems new. At night there’s noise from the staff working so sleeping with windows open wasn’t ideal. Staff was friendly most of the time. In conclusion: this hotel accommodates a lot of people. There are many families with little kids. Too crowded for us. Food was not yummy. Appartement was good. Location was ok, in front of a beautiful beach.

We stayed at the El Guarapo for the 3rd time for 19 days. We have always found the apartments spotless, the staff very friendly and helpful ( this has got to be credit to the manager Lorenzo). It was a nice touch to give tokens for a free drink at the pool bar. The apartment is well furnished and comfortable, the king size double bed very comfortable ( yes 2 singles bolted together but you wouldn’t know). Some people complain about the odd cockroach (you are in Spain not the Ritz in London). Don’t leave food out to attract them. It’s a shame we can’t give more than 5 stars. Great size apartments. Excellent view from apartment. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Pool was not very clean on the bottom and never saw anyone monitoring water quality hence not used. May benefit from a little background music around pool area but this is my preference. Cleaning could have been better. We had an issue with cockroaches in our kitchen area however reported twice and both times received prompt response and action.

Quiet apartment, 2 bedroom (45). Quite spacious. 3 balconies, 2 with sea views. Could have been cleaner, otherwise nice enough. Good kitchenette, 4 ring induction and a full size fridge freezer. Was lacking a few utensils, but sufficient. Would go back. Visited out of school holidays, so peaceful around the pool, where all the apartments overlook.

Just returned from a lovely week staying at El Guerapo with my 14 yr old son during half term week. Friendly welcome from Natalia on reception who was always there with a smile every time I passed through. This is a good option if you like smaller, quieter apartment complexes. Good size apartment with facilities to cook for yourself if you prefer. There is a poolside bar serving breakfast and lunchtime tapas but closes mid afternoon & not open at night. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. Hope to return one day as this was just the place we needed.

We have been here for 7 nights and had a great time. The park is very neat and well maintained. we had an apartment with jacuzzi (recommended) which was very spacious with a kitchen with associated attributes. The beds are perfect. A beautiful and nice swimming pool, because of our visit in April we had all the space to ourselves. There is plenty to do on the island for people over 50, as we are. You can walk to the harbor which is a 15 minutes walk. There is the market and various places where you can eat.

Stayed for 2 weeks and it was absolutely lovely.. Rooms were always clean, location was perfect, just a walk away from all the restaurants and shops. Had a problem with the water and it was sorted within the hour, anything we needed help with, someone was there to show us. The Pools are close to all the rooms and there's even a snack bar if you fancy buying food there and staying round the pool for the day. Beach is on the front, which is a 5 minute walk and a park for the kids. These Bungalows aren't modern, but they don't need to be, they are perfect and don't need changing. Maybe a little paint in places, but otherwise great. We will definitely be coming back here to stay! It was worth every penny and my little big loved it.

Great place to stay. Out of the main town enough for peace and quiet but a 40min (flat) walk along the beach to town or a 10min bus ride for countless bars, restaurants and atmosphere. Staff were great. Hire your car from reception and they'll sort it out for you within the hour if before 1pm. Couldn't be any easier. Loads of bars and choices to eat in the complex too. 2min to the beach. What more can you ask?😎

I stayed in this property last week (June 2024). The property is amazing and cozy. The staff is super friendly and love to help their guests. Rooms were very clean and the apartment was very spacious. Location is amazing too and very close to the beach. Taxi station is like 2 mins walking from the hotel. Overall I loved my stay at this property. Staff is very kind too, I had a late flight to catch after my checkout at 12 pm, They allowed me to store my luggage and also allowed me to shower while leaving the hotel later.

The cleaning staff keep the place spotlessly clean as do the gardener's always doing something around the grounds, the bungalows themselves are rather dated and the outdoor furniture could do with a good scrub down, but we're making the best of our 10 days here, towels are only changed every 2 days and cleaning is done 5 out of 7 days but we only had to ask for anything and the staff would accommodate, would we come back here, yes we would, would we recommend this to others absolutely, super clean basic accommodation in an excellent quiet location of Matagorda Lanzarote.

Stayed at the above location with my husband and toddler. Sometimes IT IS BEST to read AND ACKNOWLEDGE what guests reviews are before staying!!!! Would love to give this place no stars at all except it won't let me submit my review without giving it a star. On arrival, we were greeted by an apparent non english speaking receptionist, who gave us no information whatsoever, and we later found out she has perfect english Cleaning was way below standards when it was done(my toddler would have done a better job) When we left the do not disturb sign up, the cleaners still barged in to do the cleaning, even when we said our toddler was sleeping Please be advised to not leave anything of value out on display when you leave as they seem to grow legs and disappear. We reported valuables missing and nothing was done about it, my husband spent the day in the police station to report this incident. Bottom line the hotel, management and staff have no respect or regard for the hard earned money me, you or anyone has spent to spend on a relaxing holiday in "their# resort WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AVOID AVOID AVOID

Where do i start! On my last night in above location with my wife and child and to say our experience has been rude, below standard and has made us decide never to return to el dorado... On arriving our receptionist who " greeted" us claimed to have no english what so ever but was caught out speaking fluent to other guest in reception later in week and the "little" english she did speak she managed to tell us on our arrival she was fed up and not her problem.. wow! Cleaning(and i use the word loosely) was a joke. Forget do not disturb signs, even when our 1 year old was napping...means nothing to the cleaners. Barged in on more than 1 occasion. They choose their cleaning days and of what apartments of their own choice and as for valuables..LOCK UP!!! I spent a monday evening in a local police station filing a report on missing valuables from apartment. Hopefully insurance covers it as hotel"management" had no interest on my report.. The only good thing about this hotel/apartments was its location so my advice is you is get the address of area and book another one around it. U can check my past reviews on any resort. Made numerous attempts to see manager and was always told "not here" try tomorrow, which i did, to be told "not here" I have stayed in lanzorote a number of years among other holiday destinations and have NEVER felt as strongly to ever post a review. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Would not return again and wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. Just returned. Cleaning very poor and general upkeep is of low standard. The staff at reception were so rude. Wouldn't hurt to smile and make people feel welcome. On our last day trees were being cut by the pool area as people were trying to relax and there was twigs ,dirt and dust everywhere. There were also alot of cockroaches for my liking around the area. We will definitely not be returning.

Great apartments, really big and the 2 beds have 2 large bathrooms with showers. Can be steep with steps and ramps if mobility is an issue. Location is great as close to the strip, shopping centre and only 5 to 10 mins from old town for a change of scenery.

We are currently staying here, for the second time so a good time for a review. Decent well equipped rooms, very well cleaned by friendly housekeeping staff. Grounds are also very nice and well maintained. Bad points- apartment doors are not soft closure so you lie in bed listening to crash , bang as doors are slammed closed along the line. SMOKING - There is a sign outside the main reception saying no smoking, and no ashtrays seem to be on the balconies which is very good. Despite this people are smoking around the pool, on some balconies and next to the open breakfast room, sharing their disgusting habit with the whole breakfast area, and rooms nearby. It would be nice to sit outside for breakfast, but a few smokers ruin that idea. SUGGESTION - clearly identify the hotel as non smoking throughout, and enforce it, and use this as a marketing aid. Watch your bookings grow further! Sort out the smoking and soft door closures and this would be a 5 star review. Thanks.

Fabulous apartments. Pros, fab staff , lovely pretty pool area. Swanky new sunbathing deck, sauna, quite, any problems were addressed straight away. Towels provided for pool. Cons , no air conditioning, you can rent a unit but its very loud. Hardly no kids so probably more adult aimed. No floaties , no balls in pool , could be a pro if your not a child . They are very disability friendly. Spotlessly clean . Over all lovely apartments.

Lovely, clean, and very quiet place. We will be returning here for sure. Shop and restaurants are so close, but it's not in the busy area. Very close to the beach. The apartments are very nice and clean. Kitchen fully equipped, so the guests can cook for themselves everything. Bar, they have great maybe the price is not the lowest but the food are great!! They have amazing cook. At least for October, the place was just perfect. We will see how it will be in another month, next time.

Probably one of the nicest self catering apartments we have ever stayed at, compact and not over crowded. Staff, rooms and pool area all perfect. Great service from the baily bar and happy hour was a nice bonus. Filtered water in the room was also a nice touch. Only area that could be improved is when the pool was quiet (ie when only our kids were in the pool) the life guard could have been more flexible with the rules about toys in the pool, but saying that we will be back.

A lovely, peaceful stay was had here. Not too overcrowded and nice and clean. The breakfast was good for a 3 star hotel, and the staff friendly and attentive. The pool is clean and quiet, and some entertainment was laid on for the guests too. No rushes to get a sunbed and no screaming children. I would recommend this to couples seeking a peaceful escape away from the more busier and crowded hotels that we had passed.

We were there up until 7pm). However, it was cleaned and, lo and behold, no shoes. A mixture of blame to me (for leaving them). But, I don't understand why the cleaner didn't hand them in. 🤷🏻

We were really happy with our stay. The hotel is central, not too far a walk down to the strip at all (massive plus point for me) - the rooms are clean and really spacious and are cleaned 5 days out of 7, there plenty sunbeds available (could be doing with more parasols though) there is entertainment around the pool with the fabulous Alex, a real credit to the hotel. Food wise we were happy also, a good bit of variety at the buffet each meal, each day something different. Would not hesitate to recommend and would absolutely stay here again

Well, what shall I say... target audience is probably looking for affordable vacay at a nice spot and if that's you, you're in a good place. Literally, as location is indeed spot on - best beach, all the restaurants and bars you want next door. But I wouldn't choose all-inclusive necessarily, food's pretty basic, and drinks...let's not talk about it. Staff is nice tho, rooms are spacious and very clean and feature a kitchenette. So if cooking is your thing - probably good spot. Overall: come for the location, sun, not for the food or luxury.

Myself and my two teenager children had a great time at Relaxia Lanzaplaya. The hotel and rooms were very clean and the food was lovely. All inclusive can be a bit repetitive but the dishes were cooked really well. Alex, the entertainment man was hilarious and made our holiday! He made everyone laugh constantly and we missed him if he wasn't around! He entertained the hotel single handedly. The only downsides to the hotel were there was only the pool bar you could sit around on the night and the bar in the hotel was closed. It would have been nice to have that bar open for somewhere different to go. Also, there weren't many umbrellas by the pool so you did have to get up early if you wanted one. The location was great right near the bars and restaurant and beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Yet another amazing stay here. This is my 4th time here and already planning to come back. Every member of the team have been great, nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Massive shout out to Alex from the Animation team. He made the last week of our holiday. Rooms are are lovely, plenty of space and stunning views from your patio. There was a small issue with this air con, however this was not a fault of the hotel and they everything they could to keep us up to date with this. I had a great first week of the year. I really liked the reception and service at the hotel, the shows, the activities, the people take care of the clients very well. The hotel is very simple but the energy in the space is good. It was my first experience there. I think they could improve the food and if they need to charge more to do so, then they should do so. The sea is very close and there are beautiful places to visit, the sunsets are very close.

A lovely hotel situated close to the beach. Given a complementary upgrade to a villa to accommodate 5 of us including our little 1 year old. Room was immaculate could have stayed for longer. Staff were very friendly everywhere happy to help. Only improvement is the food side of things for the kids especially but we found lunch was better in the waterpark more variety. Kids section of water park was closed which was a shame but we managed to entertain our little one in the lazy river and wave pool. But overall for our first family holiday with the little one it was lovely

No porters on arrival. We had 2 large cases and a wheelchair and our chalet was up a large hill. My husband had 2 do 2 trips. The chalets are OK. A little dated but not overlooking any other, so quite quiet. The restaurant food is ok and some is very tasty with a lot of different salads to choose from. There is a grill cooking whatever the meat of the day is. There are a lot of seats, and outside, there are enough loungers. The heated pool is very popular. All in all, we have had a nice 8 days and the weather over Christmas has been fabulous. The hotel is very wheelchair friendly, apart from a couple of ramps. The staff seem very friendly.

Breakfast omelettes are cooked fresh to order and fresh fruit, yogurt and breads are available. After spending 7 nights at this hotel I am sorry to say save your money. My friend and I asked to change rooms as soon as we saw ours, room 111 when we arrived on Monday 25 Nov 2024. We had to wait till Wednesday before we got a better room. The rooms were dated with rust around the edges of the bathroom mirror. Access to the shower involved climbing into a deep bath, not for the elderly. The hotel entertainment left a lot to be desired. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The mattresses on the beds in our second room 206 dipped in the middle and we had to turn them over and around to get a decent nights sleep. The food was mostly okay, however, I started with sickness and diarrhoea at 6 am Sunday 1 Dec, I spent the last day of my holiday in bed just drinking water. I could not risk being ill on the plane coming home the next day. I would not in all honesty recommend this hotel. Thank goodness the weather was good.

Just returned from a week stay at this hotel. Had an amazing time. Rooms are clean and attention to fresh towels and bed linen great. Sometimes the room cleaning service a little late in day getting done which can be a bit frustrating if you like a siesta in the afternoon. The range of food is very good. Over my week stay I never had same meal twice. Food could be hotter but I suppose it’s very difficult. I was travelling alone so preferred to stay in hotel at night. The entertainment was good, especially when hosted by the amazing “Dumi”….what a character! He had the whole place laughing, having fun and relaxing with each other. Special thanks to him for making my stay so enjoyable. Well done everyone at Hotel Pocillos. I will definitely return.

Excellent hotel. Just on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen about half an hour walk to there but go other way to Matagorda about 15 minutes Hotel is adults only which makes it a really lovely place to sit back and relax. Aida the entertainer is lovely we joined in which is something I never do but she made it feel very comfortable and by doing this we got to know the other people which was great and ended up meeting up later for a drink. It was my birthday while we were out there and the hotel left me a bottle of bubbly in our room which was a nice touch. All in all excellent hotel will definitely be going back

Hotel has a good location away from any hustle and has a spacious and free parking right in front of it. Those who are not comming by car might struggle to get to a nearest bust stop as the main road is quite far away, but that is the price for being in a rural area. Hotel consists of small villas, ours had 3 rooms, but as every villa looks the same from the outside, I guess it is a standard. Place is spacious, with private terrace, ours had sea view, which added nice touch to a morning coffee. The rooms are showing signs of age and wear, the furniture is old and the beds are far from being comfortable and are noisy as they are spring-based. The hotel's staff members are a welcoming and accommodating. Throughout our stay, they consistently displayed a warm and helpful attitude, which added a positive touch to our experience. Hotel has a swimming pool and while it is not extraordinary, the swimming pool area served its purpose. One downside was the children's pool as it was closed during our stay. There is also a children's playground, but it consists of only a basic equipment. There is also a restaurant and a bar but we didn't attend either. One of the neat features of this hotel is its access to a oceanfront promenade, allowing us to take strolls by the ocean and enjoy breathtaking views of waves hitting the cliffs and sunsets.

Great wee find of a complex. Beautiful vistas and walks along the sea front. Not far to local cafes, bars and shop. Staff are Great, especially Carlos who managers the dining area. As this complex is self catering would suggest you ensure you get juice, milk, tea and coffee for the villa. Dinner is limited but very tasty and good choice of meat and fish with plenty of salad. Remember you have to pay for any drinks including tea and coffee with your evening meal.

Great place on the water with spaced out villas and a central pool with restaurant. The included breakfast was great. Location is away from the main area of town, great if you have a car or want peace and quiet. Staff helpful too. Our room had a slightly leaky roof in one room which wasn't a problem as there is little rain on the island. Stove top was not strong enough to cook quickly if you are self catering. All up a really enjoyable stay.

Villa's are very spacious with just about every thing you need,although the cups and glasses are very small, so if you like a nice mug of tea/coffee then bring your own 😀. The whole complex could definitely benefit from a bit of tlc as it's looking a bit tired,but it's generally clean and tidy and the staff all seem friendly. The location is a bit of a mixed bag, it's away from the main town so it's lovely and quiet but it's a hike if you want the buzz of the town. Some lovely places to eat around 5 mins walk away (across some waste ground, don't be put off) along with a couple of very reasonable priced supermarkets and the bus stop for the local bus to the town. (no 30). Buffet breakfast (all you can eat and drink) was really good, no complaints.

Stayed here for 10 days in March. It is located by the coast, with nice sea views. The resort is a bit further away from the centre of Playa Blanca (10 minutes taxi ride), but it meant that we had peace and quiet. The place was very basic, but had everything we needed to have a comfortable visit. Great cleanliness within the villa as well as the surrounding areas, with a daily cleaning service provided. The staff were friendly and helped us with any queries we had. One negative thing would be the beds…they were very hard and uncomfortable! But overall, we had a decent stay.

Fabulous apartments. A quiet area which we enjoyed but all restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Room and surrounding pool area spotlessly clean, room cleaned and towels changed a couple of times throughout our week stay. Full oven and hob if you wished to do a little cooking. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Met some lovely people staying there who are returnees, some a few times a year and many staying for up to 4 weeks. There is a small pool bar which is run by Nelly. He works very hard behind the bar serving a great selection of drinks, breakfasts and food up to around 7pm. We ate there on a few occasions, food and service was excellent. We would definitely recommend and hope to return as soon as we can.

Really enjoyed our stay here last week. Apartments are clean and comfortable, nice pool area and again kept very clean, plenty of available sunbeds when we were there. There's a great little pool bar for food and drinks during the day all reasonably priced and very good quality, bar is run by Nelly who works really hard to keep everyone fed and watered, he's a star. All staff and cleaners are super friendly and work really hard to keep everything spotless, always smiling and say hello. Approx 5 to 10 mins walk to the bars and restaurants in Matagorda so in a convenient location, we would stay here again.

Two words describe Apartamentos Villa Canaima "Absolutely Fabulous". The apartment and grounds were spotlessly clean. The reception staff were courteous and helpful. The cleaning staff were friendly and efficient. The barman in the poolside bar was great and the food and drink was very reasonably priced. The location of the apartments was ideal, away from the hustle and bustle but within a short walk of plenty of shops and restaurants. The only negative I could mention is that the kitchen hob had only two rings so you may struggle to prepare a gourmet meal if thats what you're in to. We will definitely stay here again

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Villa Canaima. The complex is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The room was spacious and extremely well equipped. The balcony overlooking the pool was fantastic. The lady at reception was so kind and even let us keep our room past the check out time, to save us having to store our luggage. Nelly provides a great service at the poolside bar, with excellent cocktails and great food. I would highly recommend Villa Canaima and we would definitely book here again when returning to Lanzarote.

We stayed for 9 nights in September. Having stayed before we were returning guests. The location is perfect for us, close to all amenities. The rooms are basic but very clean and maid service for towels and bed linen. My only gripe is as follows and would prevent us from returning; Every morning at 07:30 towels are placed on beds to "reserve them" . There is only a limited number of beds and unless you are prepared to join in the towel madness you wont get a bed - all had towels on by 09:30. People would then appear at 11am or later, stay for an hour or two then disappear, leaving their towels. Management state in the welcome pack this is forbidden and signs around the pool say the same but it wasn't enforced. If you dont intend sunbathing around the pool, not a problem but for us it spoiled an otherwise enjoyable stay.
