Visited here on a last minute break, staff are very pleasant, our room wasn't the best,it was clean and looked well kept but you could see it was well used and was in need of a revamp, there was building work going on at other apartments so hopefully our room will lookvas good as the others.the pool is large, lots of sunbeds, breakfast was very good always lots available.
There is a bowling alley, children play areas but access is via some steel stairs so very difficult if you are using a child's buggy, there are lifts but that means a walk round the block to the other end of the street.
Not much around,a few bars & restaurants so a walk is needed to the town centre

Firstly I should give some context as I want this to be a balanced and fair review. We visited in February, so not peak season and there weren’t many other guests (somewhere between 50-75). Also, this was a cheap holiday, £750 for two adults and a child on a half board basis for 4 nights.
Due to the number of guests, the variety of the buffet food was limited, breakfast was fine and we were very happy with the dinner options, they were very good.
We travelled with our three year old and so the soft play was a win. Really good facility for young children, I haven’t seen one of this size in other hotels. However it wasn’t without its faults. There was an open fuse box by the kids games machines, which it looked like they had previously tried to secure with sellotape. Also, I guess the opening hours had changed, but rather than print a new sign with the correct hours, they decided to cover the times with, of all things, a plaster?
This hotel was under renovation when we visited and we stayed in an old style apartment. We were happy with it in the main, it was clean, the shower was great and the beds comfortable. However, we were only given a pillow for the sofa bed, no bedding and the plug sockets were not positioned well e.g. no plug socket in the kitchenette even though there is a toaster and kettle, so we had to put those near the TV. Also, no plug sockets near the bed except for the one the lamp was using.
I think there is a lack of general maintenance and care around the hotel, as already mentioned but in addition, the fuse box in our apartment was uncovered and within reach of small children. There was an electrical cupboard by our patio that was open. These are simple things to fix but for some reason are overlooked.
Overall, whilst there is room for improvement, we enjoyed our stay. The 4.3 star rating on Google is a little misleading but appreciate this is based on opinion. Once it is renovated, I think it will be a reasonable 3 star hotel.

we all had a fantastic start here. Our room was facing the pool on the ground floor it was like a little bungalow clean and tiding bed made every day with fresh towels. A gym (that i didn't use ), playground , bowling ,tennis courts, pool table, lots of little things to keep the kids happy. The food was lovely, and it was a great selection on a morning as we stayed B&B .It was a 20-minute walk into the centre along the path next to the road or cut through and walk along the sea front, which was a little longer but better view . Would definitely recommend staying here .

The apartment itself looks recently refurbished.
The beds are the best I've had on holiday and very comfortable.
Kitchen provided enough for a light snacks.
Fridge was full size and also silent (I wasn't sure it was on it was so quiet)
The bathroom was very clean, however the shower head was so very rusty. This could be easily fixed at a very low cost too.
Now for a bad bit, click on the videos and you'll hear deafening screaming from kids using the swimming pool if you're placed in the rooms at the very back of the complex. And don't be fooled like us thinking this was a one off, it's not and can at times last until 9pm. The leaflet given by reception clearly showed the pool below was Monday to Friday, however this was filmed early on a Sunday morning.
I would return, but only if I was nowhere near that public pool.

The pools are only heated by the sun, not what we thought when we booked the stay. If we had known the pools are freezing 🥶 we would have stayed elsewhere. Also, the room is above the gym that has classes on first thing in the morning, so there no chance of a relaxing lie in.
Food hall in the evening opens at 7pm which is to late when you have young kids.
There is an indoor pool but that has classes in and not really child friendly. And it's shut on Sunday, but you don't get told all this.
