I had the misfortune of staying at Hyde Park Lane for four days, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. The first issue arose when I discovered there was no hot water in my room. Despite notifying the staff multiple times, the problem persisted throughout my entire stay, making it impossible to take a decent shower.
As if that wasn't bad enough, the pool, which was one of the main attractions of the resort, was inexplicably emptied during my stay. It was a huge disappointment and completely ruined any chance of enjoying a relaxing swim.
To top it all off, on the third day of my stay, the electricity in my room went off unexpectedly, leaving me in complete darkness for hours. The staff were slow to respond and offered little assistance in resolving the issue.
Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, the air conditioning in my room failed on the final day of my stay, turning my room into a sweltering sauna. Despite numerous complaints, the staff were unable to fix the problem, leaving me tossing and turning in discomfort throughout the night.
Overall, my experience at Hyde Park Lane was nothing short of a disaster. From the lack of hot water to the pool being emptied, the electricity outage, and the malfunctioning air conditioning, it was one problem after another. I would strongly advise against staying at this resort unless you enjoy a holiday filled with frustration and disappointment.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and loved every moment of it! Bungalows were clean and had excellent facilities. There was two pool areas within the complex, one is much quieter than the other. The busier pool is slightly bigger but there's not much in it.
Entertainment is provided on a night and is to a good standard. The food served at the bar is tasty and there is a shop on site with the basic necessities, as well as more selection at hyper dyno and spar shops within walking distance nearby.
If you're a cat lover like me and search for hotels with plenty of residential cats, then this hotel is for you trust me! As far as I'm aware there's two cat families that live in the complex. One is smaller and can only really be found on the north eastern side of the complex. Another family (including young ones) can be found in the big open garden-like area with some often seen near reception. I mostly interacted with the latter, they all vary in friendliness. The grey one (refer to photos) was by far the friendliest and would sit on my lap and enjoyed being around me. A black and white one is also really friendly, though seems to be bossed around by the grey one and isn't always able to come up to you. There are two black cats, one that is a sweetheart that just sits outside reception for most of the evening and is really friendly to people. There's another one that tends to hang out more in the open garden area, it's friendly but can be feisty. There's many more but they tend to only be bothered if you have food and not so much for affection. The hotel does feed its cats and takes good care of them, I did bring the cats treats from the local shops. If you do this - please be mindful to not overfeed them. I had a wonderful week with them, so if you are wanting some friendly cats go here!
To those who dislike or would rather not be bothered with cats don't be put off from staying here! The residential cats will only interact with you if you make an effort to interact with them, otherwise they will just ignore you.
Overall this place is a 10/10 in all areas

Love this hotel! This was the second time that we had our holiday here. Most important for us with small kids is that they have a great time. All the staff works very hard to give you a nice holiday and they are very child friendly. You see that children warm their heart. But the person that really made our holiday special is: David from the animation. He has a big talent to make children feel at home and be themself. He can communicate very well, even if the child speaks another language. Our sons loved the mini disco. Every morning they wanted to go to the mini club. They loved to be there and when they are entertained we also feel more relaxt as a parent. We would definitely come back again when David is still there to entertain your child. It is not easy to leave your child in hands with a stranger but David has a very nice personality, he is warm and kind and really gives you a good feeling.
And the man with beard that works at the pool and collects the towels is also the nicest warm hearted person we met. I forgot about his name but he is a lovely man that always wants to help.
The location I only gave 3 stars because if you want to go the the center to eat, it is a bit far for walking. We didn’t mind because we like walking on the boulevard. But for example going to our favourite restaurant we had to walk about 60 minutes. But you can always decide to take a taxi or rent a car. Oh and I think her name was Eva she made a beautiful and special slush puppy for my son when she heard it was his last day. She decorated his cup extra joyful. It”a really those extra things they do from the heart! A big thank you for the lovely staff that is working here. And my sons want to come back next year!

We really enjoyed Hyde Park Lane. We stayed for 6 nights and had breakfast and dinner. The rooms were really clean, the team at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The pools were great.
The only catch is that if you are vegetarian, the dinner and breakfast service aren't too great. For meat eaters there's lots of choice and variety but for vegetarians not so much. There are also no steps taken to identify vegan or veggie food, like you have with allergens, and all of the serving utensils are shared across meat and veggie dishes. If you have eggs at breakfast, it's all cooked on the same grill as the meat, and If you want an omelette it looks like they use the same bowls as the meat omelettes to prepare it.
