It’s definitely a full 5-star hotel!
I recently stayed at this hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! The modern and stylish decor is absolutely stunning, creating a beautiful atmosphere throughout. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.

I have stayed a week in this beautiful hotel. It is a modern hotel with lots of high-grade features and design elements. All in all the hotel is definitely high quality and beautiful located. I haven't found anything comparable on the Algarve which is such a beautiful spot of Europe.
The reason why I give only 4 stars (instead of the full 5 stars) is because the offering of activity and event is limited in this hotel. There are not tennis courts, no paddle courts and no beach volleyball options. Also the evenings are very quiet with not much going on in the hotel. So if you like a quiet holiday then this is perfect. If you are looking for activity and something vibrant then there is probably not enough going on for you in this hotel.

Very often these days 5 star hotels are defined by their name, not the actual experience, however the W Algarve delivered a 5 star experience- a rarity these days- starting before we even reached the hotel as we were emailed by their whenever wherever team. The staff were exceptional, the room was luxurious, the amenities were plentiful, and we felt we had a personalized visit. Absolutely recommended. My 9 year old said, “I could live here.”

Our stay at W Algarve was truly unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the entire team. From Carla at check-in, to Michael, Diego, Miguel at the valet, to the entire breakfast staff, the staff at the Bar, all created a very welcoming and relaxing experience for us.
