Mixed reviews here... Super large rooms, great ocean view, partly clean. Amazing breakfast. It is not a 5 star Hotel, Low 4 maybe. They charge for a small cup of ice to your room? Weird? tried to get into the casino twice and was met with grumpy security that wanted to see our passports, wrote down our information then they wanted to take our passports to a back office for something and we said no. Strange, as we are in our late 40's and do not appear to be under a gambling age? So we never made it inside. We would stay again but only because the price was 50 euro per night.

The hotel is very central and in a prime beach location - I stayed there for a week and would stay there again. The 5 star category should not be taken too seriously, some of the rooms are a bit dated (mine was on the 4th floor with sea view) and unfortunately a bit noisy, especially for noises from the higher floor. Nevertheless a recommendation - the staff is very friendly and the view (with sea view) phenomenal!

This hotel was recommended by a friend and we have just had a wonderful stay. Staff work very hard to meet the needs of a diverse clientele. Rooms tidy and comfortable. I highly recommend one of the meal and shows near the casino. I stay here again. Loved it!

Had nine nights here at the end of August and were more than happy with our stay. Cost us about £200 per night. The hotel is a little dated in places but it is immaculate, the staff were professional, generally quite friendly and helpful. The room was large with loads of storage, a decent king size bed (more comfy than my one at home) and a nice view of the sea. The breakfast was good quality with a decent selection of hot food, cold meats, cheeses, pancakes, fruit and cereal. Hotel has great access to restaurants, the beach and anything that you could want. We mostly stayed by the pool and never struggled for a lounger, there are a few different areas for the sun loungers so you can pick and choose. The bar and cafe service around the pool was good and prompt. The hotel has an exclusive beach area for guests where loungers are free of charge. We would happily return!

Awesome saltwater pool overlooking the best beach in the Western Algarve, Praia da Rocha. Private walk from the hotel to the beach, and private cabanas. Only had the awesome breakfast there along with drinks overlooking the beach during sunset, but everything about this hotel is memorable. Awesome staff too. Also notable, is the hotel parking garage includes two free Tesla chargers and two non Tesla EV chargers. We will be back!
