Hello, we arrived today, a family of four 2 adults 2 kids aged 3 and 6 years.
Reception was an absolute disgrace. The tall thin grey guy does not want to be here at all, not smiled once. No interaction whatsoever, after travelling with very excited kids you would think a smile at least wouldn't go far.
The bar had none of the cocktails on the menu and all wine was hotels which was simply red or white ( do NOT recommend the white). It had said there are 14 restaurants there is only 1. Also only one bar when online said there were many more.
This hotel/apartments said it was kid friendly where the tall grey guy said it is NOT a kid friendly hotel, I asked could we change hotels but pay for our first night he said sorry it's non refundable! It also offers many outdoor pools there is only 1. We felt really stuck so had to walk into town.
Don't be fooled by what they try and sell it's my second time been fooled by MGM hotels. They say because its not peak season this is fair. Feel like we let the kids down, all they wanted were other kids and kids entertainment. None of which are supplied don't make the mistake we did as they are non refundable..

This was a very nice hotel with sea views from balcony our forth floor room 416. Room was a delight, good sized rooms with loads of space and storage. Lounge was big with sofa, TV, table and chairs. Adjoining kitchen with dishwasher, cooker, toaster, fridge, freezer and kettle. Not much complimentary tea or coffee though. Bedroom was big with king size bed ( 2 doubles joined ) too much activity means falling down middle. Bedroom was OK but needed some TLC, old shower bath combination needed modernising. Hotel was tidy and clean with indoor pool, gym, spa and restaurant. Lovely outside pool area. Very close to beach and stunning views. Sometimes other guests can be noisy, especially in corridor. All in all though a lovely hotel to stay at.

We stayed in the 1 bed apartment with a kitchenette . Fairly equipped but more could be done. Room a little tired but clean and comfortable The seaview from the balcony in the bedroom and lounge was to die for ❤️
Very convenient location, staff were superb ! Lovely Restaurants nearby Would happily come again.

Visited early November 2024:
Excellent location, just 30mins walk along the beach to Albufeira Town which includes a few nice refreshment stops along the way. The other way, there is a nice walk along the beach which also was very quiet, due to the time of year.
The hotel has the end of the beach, which was very quiet when we visited. The outside pool is quite large but we didn't choose to use it as every morning the bathing seagulls filled the pool with feathers, of which the staff did clear out every day, besides having access to the sea was much more desirable. The indoor pool was an adventure to find, for some reason the signs in the hotel are not correct.
The rooms are semi-modern and ours on the third floor was in need of a bit of a revamp. There is next to no soundproofing so expect to be woken up by late night party goes, non the less the bed was very comfortable and we were able to drift back to sleep.
All in all, very good base to get around a few places and leasurely walks to town. There is a party strip up there road from the hotel so expect it to be busy during peak seasons.
The staff were excellent, very attentive and helpful. The male attendant at breakfast in the morning made an effort to welcome us and say "good morning". Breakfast was a standard affair, full English seemed to be the most popular but there was a good selection of fresh fruit.

Im not even sure where to start, first of all construction is all over the place, i paid £450 for 3 nights at this hotel which i already thought was very steep but love holidays wouldnt let us cancel, The hotel restaurant and bars are all closed except for one that opens at 3pm which had around 5 people in everytime i passed, while they played youtube video’s in as entertainment. You arnt allowed to take drinks to your rooms so we had a grand total of 5 all inclusive drinks the entire time and ended up buying our own alcohol for the room. Our room was across the street from the hotel just outside the pool on the ground floor which was not great for the constant construction staff passing and making all sorts of noise and having awkward eye contact, not the mention the random people including a creepy man that walked and stood at our gate staring into our room smiling which made me not go back onto the balcony out of fear of his return as we were only 2 young girls in our 20’s travelling alone. For all inclusive dinner you must walk to another hotel 10 minutes away, they also offer for you to book in these “restaurants” in advance, to which we did that turned out to be just gazebos and we were told to sit in any one which we were then ignored for 15 minutes until we decided to just leave and order takeaway to our hotel, the only other people there were a drunk woman using the gazebo we went to as a smoking area while shouting and swearing to her friends in another gazebo. We were told there is a bar at the other hotel we can use to which we were also told was closed once we got there. Maybe it was just because it was out of season but there wasnt a single person at both hotels pools since there were no bars open and cant leave the bars with drinks.
Check in isnt until 5pm and check out is at 10am, and you must pay extra to use the gym or sauna.
The food was very lovely and the staff were polite.
And the do not accept stag or hen parties and will turn you away, i only mention this as i hadnt seen it anywhere stated before i got the rules and i feel it would be unfair for someone to book with them not knowing this.
There is no sky bar or barefoot bar or pool bar as advertised, the only time i actually enjoyed myself was when we got a bolt out into old town and drank there, so please dont waste your money on all inclusive.
