An excellent resort! The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. My room had a fantastic view of the beach and the ocean. Friends had the villa that had a small but very functional kitchenette in them. You can walk to many places from the hotel but we rented a car and there was more than ample parking. The staff was beyond courteous and the meals I ate there were excellent. I would definitely stay here again. Hopefully the next time won’t be “work” related

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Grande Real Santa Eulália Resort and Hotel Spa in Albufeira, and it was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth, luxury, and genuine care. The entire staff deserves commendation for their professionalism and friendliness, always going above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels special. The level of care and attention to detail from every staff member, especially Elizabeth, Douglas, Rodrigo, Larissa turned our special holiday into a magical experience we’ll treasure forever. Elizabeth, Douglas, Rodrigo and Larissa truly stood out as shining stars of the team. All of them were very calm and patient in dealing with our requests and queries. Absolutely amazing hotel, all staff are just fantastic and can not do enough for you. Here for my birthday and we had a knock at the door, the hotel had gifted me a birthday cake and a bottle of bubbly 🍾 to wish me a happy birthday 🎂, so lovely and unexpected. Pool area is beautiful overlooking the sea, pool is refreshing and just what is needed when it's hot, late October and it's still a hot 26 degrees. Bed in our apartment is really comfortable, little kitchen area has everything you need. Free safety deposit lock box. After checking in we were driven to our apartment in the hotels buggy and our bag's taken to our room. Inside the main hotel building is stunning and smells lovely. Spa is beautiful. Towels are given to you every day to go to the pool. I can not fault this hotel, it's luxury and hospitality is definitely 5 star's.

Exceptionally beautiful and well-run hotel. We stayed in a self-catering villa and (together with a discount through a booking platform) it's certainly the best hotel we've stayed at for these rates per night. Fantastic beach and location. The only negative being the rather rusty and dated equipment in the gym. Overall, highly recommended.

We got married at Grand Real Santa Eulalia. We had an amazing day and the reception setting in particular is stunning. However, our and our guests' experience with the management tainted the experience somewhat. We had also left wedding gifts in the best man's room on the day and one wedding card with cash in it went missing. We fed this back as soon as it was discovered the morning after the wedding and returned two days later to raise it again. The management really didn't seem concerned about it and the card was never located. On checking in the system was down and they had difficulty locating our booking and finding a free room. This is understandable and was rectified as soon as they could. The bridal suite had been paid for over a year in advance and we presented the receipt on booking. On the morning of the wedding my mother went to reception to ask for ice. The manager on duty asked her to pay for the bridal suite as the bill hadn't been settled. She almost paid for it, but luckily told me first. The groom had to go to reception and explain that the room had been paid for in full and ask why we were being pushed to settle a bill in the middle of our stay, especially on our wedding morning. It wasn't handled swiftly or with courtesy. Our brilliant wedding planner stepped in and resolved the issue. The hotel had said they would apologise to us and to my mother, but an apology never came, although they did send a complimentary bottle of prosecco to the bridal suite. I have to compliment the servers at the cocktail hour and wedding reception, who were friendly and courteous and professional throughout. We also loved the privacy of the reception and the beautiful view of the beach and the surrounding cliffs.
