We just got back from a great stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. The location can't be beat! It was a quick walk or boat ride to the parks. The rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, and plenty of outlets for all the electronics! The pool and slide were fun. Dinner at The Kitchen was delicious!

What can I say but this hotel was amazing. The rooms were amazing and clean. The proximity to the park was so close also. Only a 5 minute walk and there you were to the front gate of Universal Studios. They have their own security checkpoint so no need to wait in long lines. The water taxi is right there as well so getting to and from the park is no issue. Everyday we had someone clean the room and it was never a mess. The staff was super helpful and willing to assist with any issues. We were there before Hurricane Milton and even had the option of extending our stay to make sure we were safe during the storm. All in all this was an amazing stay at a wonderful hotel. It was a bit more expensive than the value resorts but would gladly spend to stay here again.

We have been staying here every two years since 2018. We really enjoyed staying there the first time being so close to CityWalk and theme parks, but this hotel specifically charges you for express pass because the amenities are lackluster compared to even some of the lower tier resorts. The quick service area is small and doesn’t offer much hot food in the store is solely hard rock merchandise All of which we knew before coming, but the rooms are really where this hotel has gone downhill. The hard rock could really use some updating, especially in the bathrooms and we found our rooms pretty dirty a check in for over $500 a night, which clearly they are only charging you because of express pass unlimited. If you are really considering all your options and amenities, I would stay elsewhere like sapphire Falls or if you need the express pass stay at the Royal Pacific. I will not be staying at the hard rock for any more universal trips as the price is just not worth what they offer

Great hotel, as you would expect for a Hard Rock. Due to refurbishment our room was downgraded but we were really well compensated, no fuss they were aware and ready for us when we checked in and immediately made us an excellent offer and a massive apology. Very professional.
Recommend paying for club room and benefits.
The pool was great, heated, and the slide was fast. There were plenty of lifeguards which was reassuring although they did like blowing their “whistles”!!
The location is perfect for access, walking access, to universal. Other reviews have mentioned park noise at the hotel, this is a myth.
As a watch out, if you have a hire car, parking isn’t included, and there is a daily parking charge while staying there. We stayed 10 days, at $33 a day, it soon adds up.

We had an amazing day at the Hard arock at Universal! The staff was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Rooms were clean and spacious making our stay extra comfortable. In addition, the location being right next to the parks was extremely convenient and definitely worth the extra price compared to nearby hotels. We will definitely recommend this location to anyone looking to book a trip to Universal!!!
