The pictures do not do this hotel justice! It’s modern, sleek and absolutely spotless. All the staff including reception, housekeeping, waiting on and entertainment are all so pleasant and can’t do enough for you. The view from our balcony was stunning. We were always happy with the selection at meal times. The hotel is in a fantastic location with so many places to eat and drink around. The beach is a very short walk away and supermarkets are all around for convenience. The facilities (pool, gym, sauna etc) were exceptional. All around a great hotel! Would definitely recommend

Stayed for a week with my mum and gran. The hotel had good and bad points, but on a whole I would recommend, mainly due to how fabulous the staff were. So the pros: The most amazing thing about the hotel is the staff. The animation team are LOVELY and they offered brilliant aqua classes and generally just fab. The restaurant and bar staff are super attentive and really helpful for allergies. My gran and I are celiac and they went out of their way to accommodate for us and made gluten free pizza/ pasta for lunch/ dinners as well as walking us through the gluten free options available that day. The male restaurant manager in particular was AMAZING. He was always so approachable despite being so busy, so smiley and friendly and made an effort to remember things about each guest which made a massive difference to everyone. Reception were always also very accommodating when their was difficulties in the room. The food itself is a massive pro, lots of options, always really really good food! Hats off to the chef. The location was brilliant. It was right onto the Marina, literally crossed the road and your at the marina. Also near a bus stop (although we couldn’t work out the buses 😂). Generally, the hotel was always clean and tidy! Cons: There was three of us and we had paid for a family room. Anyone booking this be aware that all the rooms are the same size, so if you are a couple or a family you will have the same size room but with just an extra double bed. We had to store suitcases on the balcony and shared a double wardrobe for 3 people. Very minimal space and difficult to get ready. The pool doesn’t open until 10 o’clock (we went at beginning of September) and there is a queue from 10 to 10 for sunbeds as there isn’t lots of space around the pool. There is some beds on the garden area which is lovely, however we got bitten a lot! Overall though great experience, I would go back if there was only two people going! One final time though because I can’t stress this enough….staff are incredible. Thanks so much.

I was half-heartedly pleased. The hotel entertainment was great, especially the guy who did an excellent job. In the restaurant there were too few waiters for so many people. The food at the hotel was good. What I didn't like was the pool. It was dirty. It had a yellowish edge from using suntan lotion and it was full of hair. They should encourage the use of swim caps for swimming, everything would be much cleaner. The receptionists were not very friendly, there was a young girl who was quite rude. I think it is a bit expensive for what it offers.

I recently stayed at Hotel Palmasol in Benalmádena, and my experience was outstanding. The hotel is ideally located near the marina, offering beautiful views and easy access to local attractions. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a vacation. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff, particularly the receptionist, Carmen. From the moment we arrived, Carmen made us feel incredibly welcome. She was warm, professional, and always went out of her way to assist us with any request, providing great recommendations for local activities and dining. Her friendly demeanor and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Carmen is truly an asset to the hotel, and her exceptional service is a big reason why I would highly recommend Hotel Palmasol to anyone visiting Benalmádena.

Perfect location, lovely rooms and cleaned daily. The food was delicious with a great selection.. the animation team were really nice and made sure all the residents were having fun and involved in the daily activities. It's not really a place for children, but does cater for kids club in a small area.

The hotel is a nice hotel, that consistenly outputs the same quality. It is nothing fancy and wild, but it is not cheap and dirty either. I would dare say it is both money well spent and a pleasant experience. The food is what you would expect from the price you pay, it has some variety, with certain dishes being switched daily, but they also have a lot of stables. Good for picky eaters and adventurous people. The rooms are decent, and cleaned daily by a very nice staff. The bar for all inclusive is also decent, you can get drunk if you want, and they give access to cold water, so you can fill a bottle going on a trip or drinking in your room. The water from the bathroom in my hotel room was also drinkable though a little chlorine tasting. The pool is also big and well maintained. TLDR: - Overall very decent - Decent food - Decent rooms (few outlets) - Decent pool - Decent bar - Nice staff

First off, the rooms are basic but have everything you really need. The service was good, with towels changed on a regular basis. Friendly and helpful staff, which was good. Have to admit the food was excellent and a lot of choice which surprised me. Wonderful location, literally a stones throw from the beach. I would definitely go back there again.

You get what you pay for with this one. Staff were great and tried their best but the food really lets this place down. Food really is that bad. Unless you are happy living off chips and bread be prepared to eat out every day. Food is poor quality and tastes of nothing. Plates glasses and cutlery were filthy. Eating in there made me feel sick. Not a fault of the hotel but I thought a lot of the guests were very odd and unfriendly too. They just stare at you and are so rude pushing past. Sun beds are queued for every morning and people literally run for beds and dump arm fulls of towels on the beds then leave for hours. We didn’t spend one single day by the pool is was just so boring and clicky. Would recommend going to the beach 2 x beds were €14 a day and the sea is lovely. Would also recommend Malbec wine club for amazing steak and Spanish food for a good prices Mullarkeys for live entertainment every night bar Tuesdays. Bar shuts at 11 to all inclusive and they charge you for the last hour 11pm - 12pm for drinks. Poor really. WiFi is €30 a day too. Wouldn’t come back. Poor experience and feel it wasn’t worth the £900 per person we paid. I spent so much money eating out and paying for a bed by the sea. Only plus with this one is the location which is great but that’s about it. The worst all inclusive I’ve ever been to.

When we first arrived, the rooms were nice and clean, there was a lot of food for breakfast and the view from the balcony was beautiful, on first few days it was a perfect hotel and we wanted to book it in advance for next year. Then we started noticing the cleaners only changed the towels daily and wiped the sink and mirror every few days, thats all. The floor wasn't sweeped for almost 2 weeks, although it did sound like they moved the beds so I'm not really sure what they were doing, shower gel dispenser wasn't replenished after the previous guests and we ran out on third day, it obviously stayed empty until the end of our stay. The walls are so thin you can hear people snoring. Food was another issue, there was some variety but every day it was the same, cheapest stuff. Coffee was bland, half of the drinks were unavailable. The only good thing was the location, very close to the beach and bus stops, as well as some restaurants. In my opinion it was not worth the price. Very disappointed.

Beautiful view from the room although it was a bad weather but still the view is superb! Every thing is great in the hotel, the bar, the swimming pool is beautiful, overlooking the sea The only thing to be improved is the restaurant and the food quality, the breakfast was good with lot of variety but the lunch and dinner are kinda lack of meat option. The wok section is good but the waiting time is quite long.

Pleasant enough hotel, hard working and friendly staff, great cabaret in the evening and a decent selection of food but unfortunately we all suffered food poisoning. After the 48-hour bout, we had no appetite for food or alcohol. After the first day, we never had the five of us together at dinner or daytime again. Always at least one person in their room sick. Jet2 was professional and went through protocol but didn't really accept the problem. They told us to ring a doctor to get a sample to track the cause of the sickness. I would not advocate this hotel. The main subject amongst guests was when did you get food poisoning? It was a shame as this was a special family holiday of three generations together for the first time. Obviously, we won't be returning.

This hotel exceeded our expectations from the moment we stepped into the reception. The staff was incredibly helpful and set the tone for a great vacation. The rooms were spacious, and the bathroom was a nice addition, although the lack of a toilet brush was a minor drawback. However, the breathtaking view more than made up for it. The daily cleaning service ensured that the rooms were always fresh and tidy, with a beautifully made bed to relax in after a long day. The restaurant offered an extensive selection of dishes to suit everyone's tastes, and the table service was excellent. Hygiene was a priority, which reassured us during dining. In the bar, we were pleasantly surprised by the all-inclusive package, with a wide choice of branded drinks and fast service. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. Overall, this hotel is definitely recommended. You get value for your money, with decent service and good value for money. The only minor downside was the lack of a heated outdoor pool, but that didn't detract from the enjoyment.

We had a lovely break. It was my birthday whilst away and I was given a cake and prosecco on the day. We also had fruit and water delivered on the last day. We were in Room 1200 which was on the top floor and had an enormous balcony and fabulous sea views. The only downside to the hotel are the lifts. Some don't go to the 12th floor so the ones that do are often full of slow to come. The hotel only has two pools and the bubbly pool was often full of children splashing about as it is shallow. The lifeguard was always at the other pool so nothing was done so it made it less relaxing. However, overall we had a lovely holiday and enjoyed our week in the sun. Thanks for a lovely week.

We have no complaints about the hotel. The service is always nice and helpful. The food varies depending on who likes what. We chose the breakfast and dinner options. I'm a bit surprised that drinks, such as water and juices with dinner, are paid for - this is the hotel's policy - but the prices are normal. Close to shops, beach and bus stops. The rooms are generally clean, maybe they forget to clean under the beds. Towels and bed linen are changed regularly. If someone comes only to relax on the beach, they should be satisfied by the hotel swimming pool. The hotel organizes a party for guests every day.

Stayed here for a week with my girlfriend and everything about it start to finish was great. Our room was great and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Location, staff, pool and the handiness of the local shop when you need bits and pieces. I would definitely make it a point to stay here in the future as I have in the past. Videos are all I have of the rooms ignore our waves in the mirrors 😅

I love this hotel for the location and wonderful staff. Some of the rooms are modern and large, this time ours was small and old fashioned but clean and comfortable, well equipped. We also had a lovely view of the mountain. The pool and bars are wonderful with access to the beach promenade.

Good for wheelchair users- access to pool with hydraulic chair. Gorgeous pool & bar areas. Boardwalk access to adjacent beach. We had a 2 bed apartment- not wheelchair adapted - as the adapted rooms are for two people only. Plenty wheelchair adapted taxis around and drivers are very helpful.

A fabulous hotel. The staff are very helpful and courteous. The hotel is in a perfect location, very close to the beach (3 mins walk) where there are sun loungers (7 euro per day) and a restaurant and toilets. The hotel pools are surrounded by sun loungers ( you have to get up early and queue to claim these as otherwise you may have to wait until the afternoon until they become vacant again). The hotel is kept very clean. Nightly entertainment at the bar (be sure to catch the queen tribute show). Overall, a lovely holiday, we didn't want to come home.

A fantastic hotel. Our room was perfect with the most spectacular view. All staff we interacted with were really friendly and helpful. The girl who worked on reception during our week was lovely and worked long hours but was always smiling and pleasant. The food wasn't the best so we chose to eat out. But that didn't bother us we would just change our board basis next time. Hotel Alay gets A****** stars from us.

One thing that would improve your evening meal would be a coffee in the restaurant,the coffee and tea machines are switched off!!!!!! Night time entertainment, zero in reality...

Excellent hotel, we stayed for a week ,everything is clean, tidy and quiet. Balcony with a Marina/Sea view is a must. Breakfast was very good lots of choice, all freshly made. Location is brilliant with the beaches, restaurants, shops all within a few minutes walk away. We'll definitely be back 👌

Overall great stay , room was a bit small and we had couple small issues which were sorted quickly. General service was good receptionist on checkout could have offered a smile. Breakfast was good , we had one evening meal again good. Location was great , beach, shops, bars etc on your doorstep

this maybe my fifth stay for business trips and so far i loved the hotel for the price and facilities available. too bad this maybe my last visit here ever. today i checked out as usual, and waited for the housekeeping to clear check the room. surprisingly then appeared an accusal for me that i stained the bolster case with a unknown brown spill showed on a photo by their housekeeper. i told the reception staff that i didnt feel i did it, and didnt even use the bolster provided but they insisted an extra charge of 30k rupiah. long story short i paid up and told them this is wrong to accuse a customer, and if the procedure system does exist like that, then the hotel should perform a checklist whenever a new customer enters the room together with the housekeeper. this way it is clear for the customer that any stains after the checklist will be their responsibility. without this, how would a customer then not feel cheated on? sorry to say but a customer can also fairly accuse the hotel staff also neglecting the previous check and blaming the unlucky one next. anyways hope you guys review this to avoid future customers feeling accused without prior notice and proper agreements/procedures. good luck.

Found this hotel through travel app with a very good price. Decided to book and didn’t expected much but turns out the hotel was great! The room was spacious and clean even though the aircon didn’t work when I checked in. Called the concierge and they sent someone right away. Ordered some food and drinks, it taste nice with reasonable price. They provide shuttle services to some beach club but I didn’t try it. Maybe next time!

Initially thought we’d come to a nice hotel for our last night but soon turned out that wasn’t the case. The rooms are poorly lit with wallpaper peeling off the walls and small cockroaches. The food was terrible we ordered the steak and managed 1 bite, after mentioning this we were told we still had to pay and all food is non refundable, the staff seemed familiar with this complaint. The shower filter was blocked and almost flooded our room. We got the room through agoda on a discount but if we paid full price I’d be even more disappointed. Don’t recommend staying here.

5 or 6 out of 10 over all. Positives - The rooftop pools are nice, even if the surrounding view isn't very special. The bed was large and comfortable, the air con worked well, and there was plenty of storage room. The staff were all lovely. Gym is decent! Negatives - The location isn't that great at all for a holiday base. If you don't mind taking a taxi for a few minutes every time you want to go to the beach area it's ok, but...Right outside of the hotel is an extremely busy road. It's not exactly a relaxing holiday feeling. The hotel area in general is also a bit dark and dingy. The rooftop bar was really bad. No fans or aircon working & just no atmosphere at all. More like a canteen. There aren't enough sun beds with umbrellas considering the size of the hotel.

Staff told me that room service Just prese 0 but when I order for room service the restaurant staff asked me to down directly to the restaurat. Even when I checked out everyone seems so busy at desk

This is a huge, very unusual hotel. It's like something in Vegas. The staff were all very friendly. We decided not to go All Inclusive and are glad that was our decision. On our last night I broke a toe so we were forced to eat at the hotel. It is buffet style as a lot of all inclusive are. The only bit of food that I enjoyed was the Santiago cake. The rest of the food that I tried was dreadful. And the red wine was ice cold and absolutely horrific. We have enjoyed lots of gorgeous reds during our stay. Some cost as little as €3 a bottle, so I can only imagine how cheap the hotel wine is.

Was apprehensive after I booked after reading the reviews. Like others have said, if you're looking for faults you can find them but just go and enjoy yourself. Travelled with our 11 year old and we all had a great time. Hotel catered for all our needs. Always found plenty to eat (and drink). Good indoor spa for the dull days. Shuttle bus to take you to the splash park down the hill. Hotel shop reasonably priced. Animation team were great. Loved visiting the turtles and the lovebirds in the hotel every day. I don't normally like going to the same hotels but can definitely see us coming back here

Reading the reviews from recent reviewers I was a little concerned before our trip to the hotel Polynesia but our experience was very positive. We were a family of 8 with a 5 and a 1 year old and we had an amazing week. The rooms were spacious and clean with a very comfy bed a good shower and powerful hairdryer. The food was fine with plenty of choice. There is a microwave in the restaurant you can use if needed. I can't praise the animation team enough as they worked hard every day to entertain everyone. Plenty of activities throughout the day that you can get involved in if you wish. The marina is worth a visit. There are buses but we had taxis and it was only €13 each way. We went on the pirate boat for an hour cruise and on a smaller boat which we hired to go and see the dolphins. The water park was fun and you can easily spend the day there as your wrist band allows you to eat and drink there as well as in the other hotels on the complex. There is a shuttle bus down to the water park but its not far to walk. Just be aware that you will have to pay a €25 deposit for each band on arrival at the hotel that you get back when you return them when you leave. The restaurant staff are very efficient and engaging and if they know you have a birthday they bring a cake with candles and sing happy birthday which was a nice touch. Overall it was a great week.

We have had 3 amazing holidays in Polynesia and can't wait to go back. The food is beautiful and facilities are well kept. Plenty to do all day for kids and adults! The lifeguards at the pool are so attentive and I feel totally safe with my children in the pool. The animation team made our holiday so much fun and they feel like friends by the time you are leaving, especially Mateo, Alvaro and Manuela. Couldn't fault this place.

Don’t bother it’s completely worn out. And don’t trust the 1-4 post reviews. Hotels trying to up the rating. Stayed here for 10 days and the more you look the more your see. Rooms are super dated and worn out. We had a smashed sink. Old plasma tv with no smart connection. Broken bathroom door. Damaged balcony door and rail. Damaged tables the list goes on. We paid for a 4 star hotel and got 2-3 max. It was once a beautiful place but those times are long gone. It’s dirty. The main pool is over populated and the filters can’t cope. The food is nothing special and the entertainment is average. We had money stolen from our room day two the manager didn’t care just told us to log it with the police. Would never go here again. Rip off.

We stayed here at the start of October, the hotel was exceptional. We had a superior double room and could not fault it. The hairdryer wasn’t great but just bring your own. The views were amazing. Beach was close by, pools were cold but that is to be expected in October. All staff were lovely. The entertainment wasn’t great but that is down to personal choice. Food was great always something to eat for everyone in our family. Drinks were great and even was given some shots by the amazing bar staff. Definitely recommend and would return in a heart beat

Will, this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, i have stayed in a number of 4-star hotels, and this is differently not a 4 star, at a maximum, I would put it at a 3. If your after a 4 star good hotel then I would recommend elsewhere. We stayed in a 3 star hotel close by 2 years ago and it was better. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Edit review after a few days. Sunbeds, no padding and in need of new ones, no towel cards, you can pay for a towel at €10 then it's a €1 everytime you want to change it. The food isn't too bad and the staff are also good. It feels like a previous 3 star self-catering hotel which is trying to do A.I.

We stayed here in July 2024. The hotel is spotlessly clean (e.g., the poolside toilets are cleaned approx 4 times throughout the day). The service by staff is friendly, polite and exceptionally helpful. There are a selection of pools to choose from (including an indoor one). There are 'adult only' pools, that are more relaxing, through to a kids splash pool with a selection of slides and a main pool, all with poolside seating and a well stocked food/drink station beside. The entertainment staff are friendly and helpful. The food was amazing (we were all inclusive), with various themed nights to keep things changed up. To the immediate south of the hotel (and accessible via a gate) is a beautiful beachfront walk.

Left today 19th October. We have just spent 7 days at this hotel only to be disappointed. Generally the hotel was in need of an upgrade. The adult area around the pool was adequate, the staff were generally good. Our room was ok lovely view but unfortunately the bar was far too small for the amount of people staying there and you had to queue most of the time to get a drink. The food was of reasonable quality but unfortunately we did not have a hot meal the whole week and all the plates were cold. We had to heat our plates and food morning day and night, thank god for the microwave. Will we be returning to this hotel definitely not. Would I recommend this hotel to anyone, definitely not.

This hotel is amazing. Beautiful location, spotlessly clean, spacious rooms and great food. It's so big that it can be a bit of a maze until you get used to it! Lots to do within walking distance, if you want to go a little further there is a taxi rank right outside the hotel. Perfect for a family break and there's a separate adults only pool if you're coming without children. Not really sure what I can suggest to improve it!

Perfectly located to access the sea front and bars and restaurants all close by. Tasty breakfasts were served with tea included in price. Apartment was clean and functional and staff were friendly and helpful. We're already planning our 3rd visit of the year. Start off by saying this isn't a 4 star apartment block, it doesn't say it is, it is a cheap budget stay and I'd happily pay the same again in August. Room had a bed, shower and air con that worked great. I'm not on hols to stay in the room so it did it's job. Friendly staff throughout. Pool by the day is fantastic, clean, warm... and the fries are cracking 👌 Only negative comment I can make is the bar doesn't have the entertainment it still advertises within. Came for a drink with friends in May (stag do) and we enjoyed our brief stay, kinda led me to choose Doramar for the family hol we just returned from. Would have been nice after daily adventures to come back and enjoy a late drink with a sing song.

Don’t believe what the photos show you of the rooms! They’re cheaply made and the walls are paper thin. There is only one air-conditioning device for the entire apartment and my family of four cannot even sit at the table in the kitchen (since it’s so small). The safe requires €1 per day of use, so be ready to waste more money than you already have. The location isn’t bad, and neither is the service, but I would definitely not recommend to stay here if you have a choice. Stop letting hotels abuse tourists! The price per night of occupancy was not reflected in the quality we received.

PARTY HOTEL - do not stay here if you are a family , or even if you would like to sleep. Nightclub down stairs that doesn’t end until 2am , our floor was vibrating at one point. When it’s over everyone moves out onto the street. We had a group of men one night stand outside our window and sing for 30 mins at 3.30am , hotel staff allow this to happen. You can also hear everything in the next rooms and out onto the hallway. People screaming and shouting up halls . Rooms are horrible and outdated . Cracked windows , shower that overflows are 3 mins in it, windows that don’t close properly no English channels on tv. Beware if you go to the pool with your kids… these party’s continue during the day at the pool , a small pool area and a group of 30 men on a stage meant we couldn’t go near the pool for the three days we stayed … 3 days is all I could take we moved after this. You have to pay to lie on a sun bed, and when you approach a sun bed a man will come up screaming 3€ at you! Frightened myself and my child. And god forbid if you bring a snack from your apartment down to the pool area…. You will he crucified by said man. You get 4 towels , 2 big , 2 small for a family of three and they are to do you for your entire stay … bear in mind these apartments don’t have a washing machine or drier… or balcony to dry. For a family of three you get two single beds and a pull out bed that is filthy . Absolutely will never return and will never recommend… all 5 people leaving 5 star reviews need their heads examined!

I stayed at Apartamentos Doramar for three nights from February 12, 2024 with my wife. My impressions are very, very positive. You receive a complete apartament and it gives you the feeling of home. A bedroom and a seating area with a large sofa, a dining table with four chairs, and a smaller table opposite the sofa. This space contains a small kitchen equipped with all the necessary utensils, including a small refrigerator, and a separate bathroom. Everything is clean. The place is close to the beach, only a few minutes away, and the surrounding area has all the necessities, and the main street and transportation buses are less than a hundred meters away. The staff is calm, courteous, and accommodates all normal requests. A taxi can be requested through the administration staff, at competitive prices, and it will arrive within minutes. The stay was very comfortable, and I would like to say thank you to the nice staff. I would definitely recommend it to others, and if I return to visit the place, I'll be lucky to find a vacant spot.

We have been coming here for over 20 years. The apartments are basic to look at but very comfortable to live in. The balconies facing the pool have sunshine all day until the sun goes down. The other apartments face towards the sea with sunshine until early afternoon. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas stove, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, cutlery, dishes and various glasses and cups. There's even a television included. The apartments are going through an upgrade with the bathrooms having new shower cubicles installed and all the rooms being freshly painted. It is also wheelchair friendly with 2 lifts.

Went at Xmas. so actually quiet there. Ana and Michael on reception were fabulous and so helpful 2 minor issues were sorted within 15 minutes. We were upgraded to sea view amazing views of beach 2 minutes away. Really close to the wheel/marina in benalmadena . Supermarkets next door opposite and just up road. Lovely breakfast in THE IVY opposite lovely food in THE Toby just up road and Indian just down the road on left and in DENEKU on marina. All English run( or staffed except Indian but English speaking and fab guys). Only tiny downside in apt. 1.need more worktop space for prep 2. Maybe more than 1 saucepan/pan as difficult to do full brekkie lol with 1 of each. 3.dont have shower on full as will run cold before you finish.. Sussed after a few goes. 4. TWO massive mirrors but sadly no socket anywhere near for you to use hairdryer(not supplied but you can rent) Beds and pillows although felt hard were SOO comfy. Best sleep I've had in a VERY Long time will defenitley stay here again if in that area. Couldn't fault it.

Out room wasn't ready so we paid for high floor with sea view. It was for 3 people but they only catered for 2. Didn't give us a 3rd towel, we had to ask. Toilet roll only enough for 2 people and when we asked they said we had to pay. Only 2 chairs on balcony. Cleaner came once and didn't change the living room bed! The cafe were more interested on talking than serving food. We ordered 3 meals. 2 of them came together after a while and the 3rd after we ate ours but we had to ask for it!

I had read reviews about the hotel some good some bad, we loved it room was great beds were good ( people had put that they were hard) slept well. The only thing I would say we were not happy about was the two hundred pounds for the deposit granted you get it back but its a lot of money, the pool cafe was not kept clean, and no English tv, but everything else was good. Kitchen had everything you needed. We have been back a week and half and still no sign if the £200 which I think is disgusting as the room was left as we found it. I won't be going back here. Quick to take the money but slow to give it back!

Apartment has everything you need, washing machine, dishwasher, electric hob, microwave, toaster . Stayed in a 4 bed, 2 separate rooms, 2 toilets. Rooms were comfortable. TV available but not used. Pool area and restaurant which can't fault either. Had a sea view from a large balcony. Stayed on the eleventh of eleven floors and was surprised to have a private roof terrace. Apartment very clean. Only downside of the room, which is a modern problem, none of the power outputs have a usb extension.

Stayed in this hotel for 10 days ftom 6-16th October. When we arrived at this hotel we where told the room wasnt available yet and if we wanted we could pay another 65 and get a better room as well as paying this 200 deposit. So we decided pay the 65. We where told the room would be ready in 5 hours. So we waited 5 hours then returned to be told the room wasnt cleaned yet and we had to wait another 1 hour and half. Not bad hotel for 3 stars and good location. Some parts of the room where dirty. Been home over a week and still no deposit or explination to why this has not been returned despite the rubbish been put out and the room looking more clean than before we went in. Very dissapointed at this.Spoke to phew other people there and they where the same with the extra money for a room and the deposit money. Nice little scam ger extra money from people. Dont go here if worried about the deposit not worth the stress.

Booked a few nights for a cheap stay as we had a friends wedding at near by Villa Montana, expectations were exceeded very large apartment room with balcony, very tidy. Bath room was a little water damaged and shower was a bit limescaley but clean overall. Can't complain for the price.

I have stayed at this hotel 2 times already. Both were in an apartment. Regarding the price it’s not really reasonable, but the view and location were for me a reason enough. However the rooms need renovation and renewal. The beds were clean (except the sofa-bed). The parking and the swimming pool were free. There is also a supermarket, which sells fresh baked bread.

Though I am a loyal client of this hotel for more than 9 years, this summer, I find myself obliged to post a negative comment concerning my bad experience, especially with the reception staff. It started first with the apartment they booked for us. A smaller flat for a higher price. We used to stay in the front sea view flats and they proposed a lateral sea view flat, on the pretext that they have no more availabilities, though I have booked the flat since March, i.e. 5 months before. However, they suggested an extra payment of 468 Euros if we want a front sea view flat as I used to stay in (crazy). I accepted staying in the first flat they suggested, and found ou that it is a small flat for two, while we were three. Next day I claimed insistently to move from that flat and to be lodged in a larger one. Finally, they accepted. I was happy to start my holidays on the second day, but some days after, another inacceptable issue took place to spoil my holidays again. Cleaning service this time. The hotel's policy provides that cleaning is done once every two days, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. However, on the second time for cleaning, we were out of the hotel before 9 a.m. and returned at 1 p.m. No cleaning was done. As we needed to take a shower and to change clothes, we put the red card on the front side of the flat door, asking not to be disturbed, expecting the cleaning service to be provided later the same day or the day after. Surprise. No cleaning service was done the following day. That is to say no cleaning and no change of towels for 3 days. I claimed this matter with the reception staff. Surprise again. We were blamed for this problem, as we put the red card. We claimed new towels and the answer was refusal. No cleaning service and no new clean towels, until the fourth day. We thought ourselves in a military camp, where officers punish recruits. This is not worth a treatment that can be reserved to loyal or even new customers. It's a pity. I won't recommand this hotel anymore.

The grounds and pool area were excellent. But the room was a poor 2 star. They never had one drawer for clothes and other odds and ends. Our room ( 229) even had one glass wardrobe door missing. No amount of requests for repairs did any good. On the plus side, the food was very good, but never again.

We had high expectations for a four-star hotel in the south of Spain, but unfortunately, our experience was far from what we anticipated. Upon arrival, our room was not clean—the floor was dusty, and despite repeatedly flagging this to the hotel staff, it remained uncleaned for the entire three nights of our stay. They just change towels, but not cleaned at all the room. The staff assured us the room would be cleaned, but this never happened. We also paid extra for sea view, but happens that all the rooms have sea view, so if you want to stay there, don't pay extra for that service. Additionally, the "adults-only" pool felt like it was caged in, which was far from relaxing. And the private beach in front of the hotel wasn't part of the package, which was a huge letdown given the location. For the price this hotel charges, the quality and service were severely lacking. I wouldn’t recommend it if you're expecting the standards of a true four-star hotel.

Lovely hotel right on the sea front, the hotel is absolutely spotless & really nice and opulent. The location is a bit out of the main stretch, about a 40 minute walk if you want a nice stroll or just hop on the 103 bus outside & it takes you there in 10 minutes for 1.55Euro. The sea view room was fantastic, really spacious & a great view from the balcony. Food in the restaurant was great, a good choice for everyone & everything nicely cooked. Would most definitely return as we had a great time.

1. Terrible noise from the night bar until 11:30, so we cannot sleep until then. Extremely hard with young kids. The rooms are not sound proof. Avoid rooms in floor 7,8,9 near the bars. 2. The gym and sauna & steam room are closed due to rain . Pools are also closed. Not good value for what we paid. 3. Kids club only runs from 11:30-2pm and there is not much to do nearby when weather is not great . The positive: Buffet is decent with nice view. Overall, not great experience for an expensive holiday for October half term!

The Conditioner doesn’t work at all. they are very irresponsible, they gave our room to some other strangers who just came in and imagine if we weren’t there they could’ve just stolen our stuff! The receptionist is just built different, SHE doesn’t know nothing about the hotel when it comes to the questions. I advice to pay a bit more and stay in a better hotel, yeh maybe the view is nice but it’s not worth if ur staying more than 1 day !!!!!! There is a reason behind a 2,9 rating !!

4 star is says supposedly. Well I don’t know who scored that, the owner at a guess. Perhaps it was a 4 star, in the 1970’s and I doesn’t look like it’s seen a lick of paint since then. It’s a good job the breakfast was included, because you’d never of paid for it. Stay here if you absolutely have to, for example if you’re homeless or something. The one plus side is the place will keep you dry while you sleep, but unfortunately that’s about it.

The hotel is no way a 4 star hotel, the mattress on the sofa bed was horrible, dirty, and was just not suitable for sleeping, had no sheets and the room just looked very dirty. The pool area the umbrellas were falling apart. They would not give enough towels. The sink would clog and the water would not drain, the shower head did not work properly as it was clogged up with calcium build up. It was not a good place to stay. The two lady receptionist were very nice and that about it.

As you can see from the pictures this place is a bit out of date. Rooms were quite clean but water in the toilet was running and in the shower 90% water came from the tap not from the "shower part" We where on 7th floor and balcony was build in the roof and next to neighbour balcony so no privacy there. Walls were thin and clearly heard people from the corridor or other rooms. Although 50€ per night with breakfast is good deal I think.

Me and wife stayed here second week of December 2022. It was our first time, and it will be our last. It was part of a Ryan Air flight and accommodation package, and it will definitely be our last with both airline(king of the hidden fees)and hotel. The two young lads on reception(one is a Brit and the other looks local, were very helpful and friendly, but the guy who looks late thirties slightly thinning on top, is letting them down with his unhelpful behavior. We ask to speak to the Manager, and regardless of which day we suggested, he said the Manager wouldn't be there. This is no where a four star hotel. I would say two star for the following reasons. It advertises itself as self catering, but practically all the utensils were missing. The hot water never worked We told the chambermaid/cleaner three times, but she just ignored us. We became fed up, and bought all we needed from Lidl. This lazy chambermaid gave us the mean eye in the breakfast room, and we believe this is why one of her colleagues told us we couldn't take anything out the breakfast room.(all paid for in the package) All because we took a few sugar, coffee and fruit to our tired depleted nasty little room, and asked the lazy cow to put in a dish cloth in the kitchen. The pictures look great, but they don't show the unrepaired soft furnishings, the missing utensils or the filthy floors. This room had the curtains falling off, the bed stands/feet slanted, a small t v with the channels permanently showing German shows. The room was smelly due to the drains, so the lazy cleaner left the balcony doors open, whilst it was raining, which left the floor looking like a swimming pool. She was none too pleased when we asked her to clean it up. There's no phone in the room, and the wall between our room and next door is far too low, presented a security risk. It was followed up by a safe that was just an ornament that didn't work. It's dishonest to advertise you have parking when only public parking spaces on the road is all that exists. The place in general looks tired, and could do with an update. All in all, you cannot expect any better from people who have an agreement with Ryan Air.(charges you for baggage such as your laptop(45€) and 45€ for not putting the small case into the hold.(rip off and cheats) I wouldn't let my dog fly on Ryan air. Make sure you pay any rip off charges with a British bank card as it is easier to complain for a refund than if you use a stupid Spanish card, as they don't have a bloody clue. Wife got tummy upset at the hotel due to unhygienic and dirty room, floors etc. COVID-19 is no excuse, and as stated above, first and last time, won't be stopping at this hole again and would leave zero star if I could.

The Buffett breakfast and dinner was superb. Very nice shower room available if you have a late flight. Situated on a steep hill but that wasn’t an issue for us. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Only downside is the big hill down to the beach and walkways, worth it though, build up a thirst lol. The hotel has no evening entertainment but plenty of places around or go into the Bali hotel right next door. Easy bus stops below the hotel for access to many places and cheaper than taxis and efficient

Location was great - short walk to beach, restaurants or to local centre. Service was fine. Pool area was clean and big, and there was enough sun beds for everyone! The breakfast selection was versatile, but not as high-quality as I would have hoped. The room was clean and new, but poorly renovated. Also not soundproof at all. All and all I would recommend this hotel, it is a great 3* hotel!

Great hotel, recently redecorated. The rooms are small, but well equipped, everything clean and new. Very good food, great variety and they cater to all tastes. The staff is pleasant and attentive. I liked the rectangular pool, designed for swimming not just floating around. The hotel guests are mostly older Brits and some Spanish. No music by the pool and no cheap entertainment in the evenings which suited me just fine. Nice view of the sea. There is a steep walk from the main street to the hotel, so choose it if you have no trouble walking.

The hotel and its facilities were amazing and spotlessly clean, not to mention its location (a minute away from the beach, seven minutes stroll to the Marina and a short ride from the airport). We have had a fabulous stay at Benalmádena beach so far. The rooms are clean and the facilities are spot on. I had a hot stone massage in the spa which was excellent and very reasonably priced. The highlight of our stay so far has been the service and attentiveness from Mark. He checks in on guests at different points in the day to ensure everyone is having the perfect stay. He is knowledgeable about the hotel facilities and the surrounding area and his smile and approach to guests is excellent and really made our stay extra special.

Just returned from a lovely stay here. We had a complimentary upgrade to our room with a beautiful view. It’s in a superb location and you can stroll to lots of shops, bars, restaurants and the Marina. We stayed B&B and we couldn’t fault the food. Hot and plentiful with lots of choice. It’s clean and modern and no sun bed reserving. We did note a couple of people did do that but received a polite note to inform them not to so everyone had the choice when to use the beds without the war for a spot. It’s modern and clean and the service is very good. We would return, no problem. The bar in the 8th floor is worth a visit. Food and drinks to purchase are on the more expensive side but it’s hotel prices rather than a local bar. Rooms were always cleaned and comfy beds including the sofa bed.

Ideal location and super friendly accommodating staff! From the moment we were greeted to when we checked out, everyone was super helpful and pleasant. The location is next to the beach and marina with great restaurants all around. There is always a bed by the pool too. Rooms were modern and clean. As our last day at Mac Puerto Marina Hotel comes to an end, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what has been a truly delightful experience. Before our arrival, I emailed the hotel to request a complimentary room upgrade. Given that it was mid-July, peak season, they informed me they would try their best. Upon arrival, they were fully booked, which was understandable. One of the receptionists joked, asking, "Where is our present? You want a free upgrade, so where is my present?" I laughed and responded that we were the presents for arriving—a lighthearted start to our stay. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. While the showerhead wasn't as strong as I'm used to, the cleaning staff did a brilliant job maintaining the room's cleanliness throughout our stay. We indulged in the spa once, opting for a relaxing massage treatment. Raquel, my masseuse, was incredibly accommodating and friendly. She provided a spectacular full-body massage that was almost sleep-inducing. Although I wished for a bit more focus on my feet, especially since my friend’s treatment included a foot massage, it was still a beautiful experience. Thank you again, Raquel. Our half-board plan (breakfast and dinner) was satisfactory. Breakfast remained consistent each morning, while dinner offered a different selection each night, adding a nice variety. The pool bar staff worked tirelessly to accommodate everyone, even during busy times. They might have occasionally forgotten to bring the menu upon seating, but their efforts to meet our needs were always evident and appreciated. The hotel's location is superb, situated right across from the marina and the beach, making it convenient to explore and enjoy the surrounding areas. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Thank you, Mac Puerto Marina Hotel, for a memorable experience. We hope to return soon!

Rooms were very clean with good a/c. Pool view recommended. Staff were excellent. From reception, restaurant, bar and cleaning service. Really good choice for breakfast with the buffet. Ate out every night as the location has you so close to a great choice of restaurants. The hotel location is spot on. Close to the beach and the plenty of shops bars and restaurants. Late check out wasn't available at the time, but a courtesy room was available to reserve for 30mins to get ready for leaving the hotel at a later time. Great idea and service.

Never fails to meet all expectations, lovely modernised rooms that are spotlessly clean as is the whole hotel, comfy beds. Staff are friendly and welcoming and treat you like old friends. Views and entertainment in the sky bar are fabulous with sea views and cocktails. Downstairs there is a lounge bar leading onto a patio area which has entertainment in the evening. On the second floor level is the pool area with easy access, a jacuzzi pool, bar and food area and lots of sunbeds. Food can be a little repetitive but they have themed nights and show cooking and great selection of hot and cold foods. There are a good selection of bars/restaurants within a short walk of the hotel and the walk along the promenade to the the marina overlooking the beach is right across from the hotel.

Just returned from our 10 day holiday at this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived very late in the evening we were given a friendly welcome including a lovely plate of cold meats, cheese, salad, bread and fruit which was much appreciated after our journey. The hotel staff are so friendly and all work very hard to ensure the guests have a comfortable, enjoyable stay. Without prompting, the housekeeping staff supplied us 2 fleece blankets when they noticed we'd used towels on our beds for warmth due to the air conditioning being very effective! The food is superb with a great choice to suit everyone's taste. All of the bars at the hotel are worth a visit with the main and pool bars having happy hour every day from 5-6pm. The sky bar is definitely worth a visit with its great views and relaxed atmosphere. My only negative was that the beds were a bit too firm for me but that's just my personal opinion. Finally, the location is ideal as it's just across the road from the beach, 20 minutes walk from the marina and there are numerous shops, eateries and bars nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to go back one day.

Location is excellent. Our privately rented room was at a good standard too. Swimming pools were great & overall in good condition as were the grounds around the hotel. However, the swim up bar was closed and the hotel lacked some sort of atmosphere. I understand it’s a family hotel ( we had kids) but the swim up bar was closed without notice which was a massive shame. No music around the hotel at all. Reception wasn’t particularly pleasant. The guy with the ponytail seemed to be upset all the time. To be polite it’s the basics of customer service.

near the beach ⛱️ old flat, but it looks like they have more renovated. pool needs to be clean with more frequency, a lot of hair in the water. slides are a bit dangerous for adults due to the weight . i saw several accidents , including myself
