We stayed at the Bocayna Village for a week during half term with two teenage children. We had a lovely stay and were sad to leave at the end of the 7 nights.
The hotel is about a 20-25 min walk to the marina and there are a couple of lovely beaches between 25-40 mins walk. It’s quiet during the day and evenings which encouraged us to make friends with the other residents - all good.
Meals were good. We’ve had better variety at other hotels but the quality is otherwise good. Evening meals are the highlight with very good choice of main and a selection of accompaniments (like pizza, chips and pasta) for fussy kids.
Staff are all friendly and hard working.
If I had to offer a suggestion for improvement it would be that the bar service was at times slow due to low staff levels. Also some music by the pool would probably be welcomed by others.

Loved this place. The accommodations was fantastic with everything you need. It's modern and the terrace is huge with lovely views. The service from all the staff was exceptional. The food is decent if a little samey after a while but the main square is a short walk for a change of scene. My only gripe is a personal one in that the pool is not very deep. Perfectly fine for a good swim and cool down but I love a deep pool. Can't wait to get back here again!

Very quiet. 9 Night stay. €3.5k over new years eve. Expected a lot more.
All inclusive.
All inclusive food selection was ok. Not amazing. Probably the good side of average. Nothing labeled which is very dangerous for some people and some choices not replenished and let go cold.
Tables set badly depending on who is working and people would have to go asking for napkins.
Desserts were horrendous. No selection whatsoever. Not much in the line of ice-cream for kids. Small tubs that looked like they were melted and re-froze and a bare scrape left in each tub at dinner that was possibly not changed the whole time we were there. Seemed to be a shortage of cups every morning at breakfast as we had to ask for cups most mornings.
The all inclusive drinks are definitely watered down. Some drinks were made out of view in a back area. Basic selection of drinks and cocktails and no consistency of how cocktails were made. Pool bar not staffed. There is a bell present to ring for service.
Last drink is 22.50hrs.
All inclusive "room" was only open from 11am to 3pm. Didn't know this until we checked in. It was very very basic. Small cups only available for beer and whatever was in the fizzy drinks machine. Few small sandwiches available. Some days it was locked before 3pm.
Had to buy water for the room or try and refill old bottles from the mostly empty dispensers. 2 for the whole complex.
Beds were clean (1 pillow) but rooms were not very clean. Not very generous with towels. The towels were very dated and well used but clean. There is wifi in the rooms which is not secure in anyway anyone can log in and manage certain functions and monitor usage if they had the capability.
Extremely strong smells of raw sewage eminating every night from both our bathrooms. Tried our best to block the sinks and shower traps at night but the smells still came.
The area around the pool is cleaned every morning by the female lifeguard but the pool was never cleaned during our trip.
We were at the very back of the complex and the area was very dark at night and badly lit in some areas.
Victor who was in the restaurant and pool bar operates on a different level to all the other staff. He is miles ahead and can be seen filling in where the other staff are lacking.
Wouldn't go back

Dream Bocayna Village is a fantastic hotel located in a peaceful, elevated area with stunning views of the ocean. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. One of the highlights is the spacious terrace with a pool, offering a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The hotel boasts a wide variety of food options. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Special praise goes to the head waiter (forgot his name), whose kindness and exceptional language skills greatly enhance the dining experience. Overall, a wonderful place for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!
