Great Hotel for the price. Rooms are dated but clean, We’ve had a fab 10 nights stay. Tomi is the best! He has made our holiday so much fun and is a genuine great guy! Will defo return for more fun with Tomi in the summer, if he’s still here 😀

Having previously enjoyed a remarkable stay here, my recent visit was nothing short of a nightmare. From extensive delays at check-in to subpar room conditions and dismissive staff, this experience has left me thoroughly disillusioned.
We arrived at the hotel at 11:30 am, understanding that check-in was at 3 pm. The reception staff informed us that our rooms would be ready by 2 or 2:30 pm. However, as the hours passed—3:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm—and still no room, we were finally granted access at 5:45 pm. When inquiring about the delay, we were told it was due to slow housekeeping. Having traveled since 3 am, waiting nearly 15 hours for a room was unacceptable. Our request to speak with a manager was met with indifference, as we were informed he was unavailable.
Upon entering our Premier Room, we were greeted with a hanging light fixture and a lack of the fresh, clean scent one expects from a recently cleaned room. Over our stay housekeeping was virtually nonexistent. From Friday to Tuesday, our room received no fresh towels, bed linen changes, or even basic cleaning such as sweeping or mopping. On Wednesday, we had to request housekeeping services, only to find that the staff merely made the bed, replaced towels, and emptied the trash— they didn’t even provide toilet paper. This level of neglect is inexcusable, especially considering the higher rate paid for a Premier Room.
Given the ordeal we endured the previous day, we requested a late check-out on our final day, as our flight was not until 8 pm and standard check-out was at 12 pm. Instead of a sympathetic response, we were curtly told “no,” with no consideration for our prior inconveniences. It’s evident that the hotel’s priority was to prepare the room for incoming guests rather than address the discomfort of current ones.
This stay has been profoundly disappointing. The decline in service quality, coupled with inadequate room maintenance and unresponsive staff, has ensured that I will not return. I strongly advise potential guests to seek accommodations elsewhere to avoid a similarly frustrating experience. I can confidently say that we aren’t the only ones with this experience as there was plenty of guests coming and going that were very unhappy with their stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel: the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting us with absolutely all our questions. We were lucky to be upgraded to a Junior Suite instead of a standard room upon check-in, with a magnificent view of the ocean—almost a full 360 degrees. The room was clean, had a pleasant scent, and appeared to have been recently renovated. It was convenient to connect to the smart TV. Breakfasts offered a good selection of food. It hardly felt like a three-star hotel. Thank you; we will definitely return 🤍

Had a fantastic holiday at hotel catalonia! The animations team are really good! They make you feel really welcome and will involve you in the games in a non pushy way! Tommy is great and I hope to see him again! Tommy definitely made the holiday, he's such a nice guy and hopefully we will be lifelong friends! If Tommy is still here in the summer we will re-book for sure!

We were hesitant after reading some of the reviews however we could not fault this hotel. Our room was fabulous, the location is brilliant. Breakfast was amazing with so many options and such fresh food. Most of the staff were helpful and overall we had the best experience and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
