Hotel in need of some TLC. The staff are amazing, and give great service. But little faults accumulate and spoil the overall feel.
Drinks are served in paper cups. The room had only one available electrical outlet (luckily we always bring a multi adaptor). The rooms generally looked tired and outdated.
The food was good and varied, sometimes a little cooler than desired, but there is a microwave available to heat if required.
The pool area is nice, with plenty of beds available (although we did visit in low season).
Overall we enjoyed our stay, but probably wouldn't return to the Palia Don Pedro.

My initial interactions with the hotel were quite disappointing, to the point where we considered canceling our booking. I reached out via Booking.com because, despite the hotel being advertised as open 24/7, we discovered that check-in ends at midnight, and we knew we would be arriving later. Unfortunately, it took several days to receive a response to my message, and we only got a reply after calling them directly which cost us an international call. Additionally, the day before our arrival, we emailed the hotel regarding pool towels. They confirmed that towels were provided but failed to mention that there would be a charge: rental cost of €7 per towel plus a €10 deposit. We ultimately decided to purchase towels from a nearby supermarket for €8 each which allowed us to keep them. A great unnecessary souvenir. This brings me to another point: while the hotel is marketed as all-inclusive, many essentials are not included, such as pool towels, the safe deposit box, Wifi, and the TV remote, all of which require a deposit. As a result, we ended up watching Polish channels for our entire five-day stay. The pool area, where we spent a lot of our time, was spacious, featuring two pools and plenty of sunbeds. Just a heads-up: if you want the best sunbeds, be prepared to wake up early and place your towels! One last point to mention: since this is an all-inclusive hotel, you can imagine that a lot of cups for various drinks are used throughout the day. While there is a significant emphasis on recycling in Tenerife, around the pool—where most of the all-inclusive drinks are served—they use cardboard cups and plates. Unfortunately, there are no recycling bins available. I understand the practicality of using cardboard cups, but from a sustainability perspective, this is not ideal. It could definitely be improved.

This has got to be the most disgusting place iv ever stayed 🤮 the first room we were given did not even have a bed for my daughter, and were told she had to sleep on the sofa that was about 200 years old,
I would not let are 3 dogs stay in that room,
They did move us rooms was not much better, but my daughter had a bed 🙄
Went to the pool the next day and iv never been so shocked to fined how this place is still open 😳 all the sun chairs were deformed and covered in dirt 🤮
All the grouting was missing from the floor tiles where kids kept cutting there feet,
All the staff were moody and un inviting,
The hotel needs closing for a few months and complete renovations to bring it back to offer holiday makers what they are advertising.
Love holidays really let us down on this one,
Till they have sorted this place out, please do not take your kids there, it’s unsafe also the lifeguard sat in a bush not even looking at the pool all day 🤷♀️
In my eyes not safe for humans 🤦🏼♀️

What can I say
Staff were incredible, food was nice great choice, entertainment was a 10, bar was nice, pool and yoga.
One of the best holidays I've ever had because of the staff (all staff)
Laughed and actually joined in nearly every activity, guests were lovely and was fun. Hot in February 2022. Should have reviewed sooner, thank you all. 😊

Nice place to chill out and relax. It's not posh but it's clean and food is lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good spot for plane spotting from the pool✈️☀️😎💯👍
