I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Our room was nice, the staff were kind and helpful, and the pool was beautiful. The food and drinks at the restaurant were pretty good as well. I had a very nice ginger flavored non-alcoholic cocktail by the pool. There are a few things that are a bit disorganized. We were not given any water in our room when we arrived while others told us they did receive water bottles. Our instant coffee and tea packets were not replaced when the room was cleaned. The hours for various hotel services are not very clearly posted anywhere (excepting the pool hours which are visible near the pool) and we did not receive any type of informational card in our room. I'm still not sure if there is room service although I suspect there is because people left plates outside of their rooms. That said, staff seem happy to answer questions and I could have gone to the front desk if I had really needed clarification. The location is a bit far from the city center but it was easy to get taxis. I'm not sure why this place has so many terrible reviews. It's a very decent hotel.

**Hotel Review: Disappointing Experience at a "5-Star" Establishment**
I recently stayed at what was advertised as a 5-star hotel, but my experience was far from luxurious. The property appears to have been stuck in a time warp, with little to no updates in over two decades.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by dark, uninviting corridors that immediately set a disappointing tone. The rooms, while spacious, were poorly maintained, featuring outdated furnishings and cleanliness that left much to be desired. It was clear that regular upkeep was not a priority, with dust and grime evident in several areas.
The staff interactions were equally disheartening. On multiple occasions, I witnessed employees arguing with each other in front of guests, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. It’s hard to enjoy a stay when the staff seems more interested in their disputes than providing quality service.
The buffet options were another letdown. The selection was limited and lacked freshness, making it difficult to find anything enjoyable to eat. Overall, the dining experience felt more akin to a budget hotel than a 5-star establishment.
In summary, this hotel does not live up to its rating. With its aging facilities, unprofessional staff interactions, and subpar dining, I cannot recommend it to anyone seeking a true luxury experience. Save your money and look elsewhere for accommodations that genuinely deliver on their promises.

Mixed experience overall—definitely not a 5-star, more like 3-star plus a pool.
Pros:
Kindly stuff. Spacious room. The gym was good.
Cons:
Wi-Fi was unstable and mostly didn’t work, no Ethernet socket either.
Breakfast was very basic and repetitive, with limited options.
The restaurant was pricy, and the hotel taxis were overpriced.
No restaurants or grocery stores nearby, so you’re stuck with the hotel’s expensive options.

An overpriced hotel that shouldn't have 5 stars. Rooms have damage and dirt that could be solved. The staff at the reception doesn't seem to know how to treat customers. No delivery food allowed inside (I had to literally eat on the street because they didn't say it was forbidden). Breakfast is not that good. Wifi is terrible. I don't understand how I can get better wifi in a 20 EUR / night ryad in the medina than in a 165 EUR / night "5 stars" hotel. Doesn't make sense.
