Advertised as a 5 star hotel but we have found that it is lacking basic amenities and comforts. For starters, the rooms smell of poor sewage as a result of the piping and drainage in the bathrooms and the general decor is tired and dated. Little things like the lack of toiletries missing and having to ask for an iron.
The food is abysmal, supposed to be a different cuisine each night but pretty much the same bland foods rolled out night after night. Cannot get a hot drink other than at breakfast but even then the coffee machines are broken or only serve a weak cappuccino.
The service from reception staff when we called from our room was atrocious, as we were told to ‘wait I will call you back I have guests here’ on more than one occasion. Also housekeeping are incredibly slow with getting round to stuff like bringing towels or refreshing the room.
The staff at the restaurant were fantastic however. The waiters and service staff were welcoming, accommodating and would regularly go the extra mile to make sure we had a comfortable meal.
And lastly, the spa was also great, very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. The treatments they provided were also great.
All in all, don’t think we will be back again due to the lack of basic comforts expected in a 5 star stay. Would probably look for a more comfortable stay.

Reception was friendly & helpful. Was very easy to exchange currency. The rooms were clean & beds comfortable. The Atlas restaurant’s very nice, with a good selection of foods. The entertainment team was excellent, especially Joe, at involving guests & running the activities during the day and in the evening. The bar staff were very good, there’s also a good selection of drinks.

We had a great stay at the hotel .staff are fantastic. Food OK but nothing to complain about depends what you can eat .something to suit everyone . Entertainment great they definitely go out way to keep everyone entertained.
Room great only 1 thing was no rail in shower to hold onto as my husband has a disability we found it very slippy had to put a towel on shower floor.
The hotel was kept spotless .the cleaners cleaned room every day to a high standard.
Because my husband had a disability and had a bit of a walk from room to dining room .pool . And bars I would have liked to have seen a couple of benches to stop off for 5 minutes so he could rest.
But that's only my opinion .
All & all we had a great break Monday to Friday and would return.

Had one of my best holidays here.
* Food is spectacular
* The staff are amazing who really do go out of their way to help
* The rooms are clean, comfy, and relaxed
* The entertainment was good
* The drinks are insane (very generous) 😉
Overall, I will definitely be going back. The whole experience was sensational. Even having a shuttle bus from and to the hotel taking us into the Medina/town was lovely. Most days were spent by the glorious pool drinking rum and soaking up the sun.

Awesome all inclusive experience, a short cab ride from the main square. Spacious, clean rooms, attentive staff, wide ranging and sumptuous food, catered all day long. Also lots going on for kids entertainment. The pool was clean, warm and well looked after. Strongly recommend.
