This is a really Good Hotel in Tavira. Clean interior design inspired by the Moorish heritage. Located close to the market and 5 min walk to center and the ferry to the beach island.
The staff is very friendly and service minded and the restaurant offers excellent food.
The spa area is lovely with a nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. You can also book treatments.
The outdoor pool is not heated but lovely in summertime.
This hotel is very spacious so even if there are big groups of guests, you never experience a crowded feeling.
I can highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed here a as part of a cycling trip. It was perfectly located and had lots of amenities. We enjoyed the spa after our long ride. It was walkable to restaurants and shops! The breakfast buffet had lots of options too.

Well located as very close to Tavira centre and all amenities/restaurants. Hotel has relatively modern furnishings and bedrooms of good size & beds comfortable but bathroom needed an update. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating however breakfast (buffet style) was very chaotic at times and we had to queue for a table. The food choice of both hot and cold items was good but sometimes slow to be replenished. We had a very enjoyable stay overall.

Lovely hotel. Good sized rooms. Good breakfast buffet. Clean and tidy. Pigeons a bit of a nuisance but hotel has embarked on pest control measures with bird spikes which made a difference. Nice pool area. Never busy. Bar and snacks nice and reasonably priced. Only one meal in the restaurant which was hot and tasty. Well located short stroll into Tavira and to the beech ferry.

This is a dated hotel in need of refurbishment throughout. The suite we booked was dark and had no resemblance to those shown on the website. Air conditioning little better than a fan. 2 balconies , one was locked with no furniture or privacy. The other overlooked the main road. Breakfast was noisy and chaotic. Poor choice of food options that regularly ran out. Bar was beyond a joke. Very 1980s. No table service, waits of over 20 minutes to be served were a regular occurrence. Ants in bed room and walk along the corridor resembled something the film the Shining! 1st time in a vila gale hotel, and the last. Not a 4 star hotel.
