We have been to this place for the last two years, it is a fantastic place to be. Great people work there and nothing is too much trouble. The staff really looked after us, as it was our anniversary when we visited this year. Thank you so much.
The swimming pools are amazing and are so clean. The staff that do things with the kids are second to none.
Let’s talk about the food we found this to be so good and always fresh. You are a short walk from the beach, which is amazing by the way.
If you are thinking about going to this Resort don’t hesitate book it and you will not regret it.

There are management issues.
First of all, it took housekeeping 2 days to unfold the couch as was asked.
Secondly, there is an issue with cleaning rooms, I was asking all evening, 3 visits to the reception, asking, checking, double checking to find it uncleaned….
The coffee in the vending machines is a separate issue, it is totally undrinkable.
The food is tolerable, sometimes tasty.
The sunset bar has a funky smell inside, no it stinks. I have to go there just because it is an only place to get espresso. Other than that try to avoid it at all times due to the smell.
However, the nature is great, the views are fantastic, the sea is beautiful, the atmosphere is joyful and great.

Our stay at AP Adriana Beach and Resort was one of the most disappointing holiday experiences we’ve ever had. From the very beginning, everything went downhill.
Check-in Disaster
We had to wait nearly three hours after arriving before being given a room. No apology, no sense of urgency – just a long, frustrating wait.
Staff Attitude
Most of the staff were rude, dismissive, and acted as if guests were an inconvenience. At the bar, expect 20-minute queues just to get a drink, only to be told “we don’t have this” or “we don’t have that.” When you finally get served, the drinks come in filthy glasses like the ones in my photos – completely unacceptable for any resort, let alone one claiming four stars.
Housekeeping (or Lack Of)
The cleaning staff spent more time sitting on the stairs playing on their phones than actually cleaning. We had to ask multiple times to get our room serviced, and when they did, all they did was make the bed and change towels – nothing else. To make matters worse, right outside our door there was a clump of hair and dirt on the floor from the moment we checked in, and it remained there for the entire stay. Nobody bothered to clean it.
Dining Experience
The restaurant and bar are a complete let-down:
Tables are wobbly and unstable.
No salt or pepper on the tables, and if you dare to ask for some, staff look at you like you’ve asked for something impossible.
Food is painfully repetitive, the same things day after day with no effort at variety.
Coffee machines are constantly out of order, so forget about having a proper coffee in the morning.
Overall Standard
This resort doesn’t even meet the standards of a 3-star hotel, never mind the 4-star rating it advertises. Dirty, unprofessional, repetitive food, broken facilities, and staff who clearly don’t care about guests – that sums up the experience.
Conclusion
If you’re considering booking AP Adriana Beach and Resort, don’t waste your money. It’s nowhere near a proper holiday standard and feels more like a budget hostel with a fancy name. Portugal has many beautiful resorts – sadly, this is not one of them.

Not a 4 star hotel. Food below average (the only highlight is the Grill restaurant and only when they do grilled fish). Rooms very basic and you have to pay a deposit for a kettle and beach towels. The grounds of the hotel are really nice with lots of greenery, playground for kids, pools etc., that’s what mislead us to book it. Service was 50/50 some staff are nice and friendly, some couldn’t be bothered. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Overall a nice stay.
But: cocktails are different every time, often bad. Long waiting time for drinks. Not a very friendly service.
Rooms were not always clean.
Location rather bad but luckily Uber drives there.
The a la carte restaurant is amazing, the staff there is friendly.
