My wife and I had a wonderful wedding at Tivoli Carvoeiro. It is in every way, an exceptional hotel.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Their wedding team Liliana and Ana were particularly accommodating, addressing our queries quickly and making sure everything ran smoothly on the day.
The hotel venue boasts amazing views of the ocean from the cliff tops, particularly when viewed from the sky bar. The catering provided for the wedding was among the nicest I can remember ever having at any event and the breakfast buffet was plentiful, fresh and varied.
The rooms were modern, clean, quiet and comfortable.
We are extremely glad we chose Tivoli. It was the perfect venue to celebrate our special day. We will definitely be back.

I was really excited to stay here, but I must say it did not fully feel like a 5 star resort. There was some sort of sewage smell throughout the resort that was covered up by an overly floral perfume they were pumping throughout the floors. Luckily it didn’t get into the room much but the second I walked into the hallways or lower floors, it was overwhelming. The pool area was filled with seagulls and the water did not look clean. The breakfast, however, was excellent and surpassed my expectations. Room was clean and very comfortable.

Unfortunately we couldn't arrive at the hotel due to a last minute flight cancellation. But although the free cancellation date passed, the hotel staff were willing to cancel our reservation for free because of the special circumstances.
We are very thankful for their understanding! I would especially like to mention Sofia for her kindness and willingness to help.

OUTSTANDING HOTEL. The staff is perfection. The view of the sea and the cliffs is absolutely breathtaking. We were so thrilled with our stay here. The pool is so relaxing and the spa was nice. The rooftop bar was a vibe. I want to work here it’s so amazing; unfortunately, I live in America :-( this place is phenomenal beyond words.

What you see is NOT what you get. Be expected to receive a parking lot or your neighbors as your view. We’re lucky to have a balcony, as our families got none.
Make sure to have footwear on by the pool as they have nails popping out from the deck and broken planks.
The loungers by the pool are on their last leg, literally! Some have broken seat backs.
The service is not consistent. However, there are three that will most definitely make your visit sane! Such wonderful people!
The food here is great, although a five minute walk you can double for your buck. (I know hotels are a premium, but so is this “hotel”)
The rooms are great though, it’s just not anything what you see.
Many guests have been complaining about the same thing.
