Looking at the reviews before we booked, We were a little hesitant to book this hotel initially. However, we have learnt from previous experience to take a measured approach to what the brochures tell you and what some of the customer reviews were saying.
Although a little dated, the beach front apartment was spacious, very clean, and well equipped for self-catering. I found the bed a little too firm, but my wife found it quite comfortable (each to their own). Situated a steady 10 minute walk from some of the main restaurants and bars , the location made the area nice and quiet on an evening, with no undue noise for early to bed types. The seven pools were really clean but quite cold, not ideal with the constant Lanzarote winds.
The main bar in the hotel was closed for our 10-day trip but promises to be opening soon. The supermarket in the hotel lobby was quite handy, if a little expensive. Not much in the way of entertainment we could see of while we were there, but plenty to do in the resort itself.
Meals served in the Lido beachfront bar were reasonably priced and tasted good, but the menue was a little limited.
The 580 room capacity resort is well laid out in " Little Square" type areas with no high-rise buildings, and all have their own pool. It wasn't very busy while we were there, so very quiet and no fighting for sun beds.
Overall, it was a really nice relaxing environment, friendly staff, and no major issues. A good place for more athletic types with professional bike hire a gym and therapy facility, there is also an Olympic size pool.
Only one minor annoyance, the beach bar, would play the same 8 track record from 10 am to 10 pm for several days running, really needs a bit more variety.
8 out of 10 rating based on our expectations. Facilities are great for families with younger children, although we didn't see much in the way of kids clubs.
Would we stay there again? Yes but would bring some cd's for the pool bar!.

Spacious apartment and generally quiet. The apartment complex is located outside of the main restaurant / cafe area however we had a hire car so this didn't bother us too much. House keeping was good.
Drawbacks
- shower was absolutely freezing all the time
- only one set of key for an apartment - this wasted a lot of time for us leaving the key at reception etc
- dated and shabby interior
- can be queues for reception, some staff have limited English and rarely more than one person there

Great place to stay, some will say it's a bit dated but I think it just looks authentic for the Area. There are loads of pools, and if you want a sea view upgrade to the beach front apartments. Great for young families, and very close the resort if you fancy a meal and beer.

Nice quiet location on the edge of town, but should be playing a bit of toto & foreigner over the pa on arrival… the whole place is a blast from the 1980s & in need of maintenance & refit. feeling quite rundown, the photos and + reviews on here definitely give a rose tinted view… Service okay, rooms a good size but certainly not 4*.. compared with same rated 4* hotel next door it’s looking very dilapidated. Bed was truly awful - small and uncomfortable. Seems to be used mostly as a training camp for sporting groups
