During our stay at the hotel, we encountered several issues. First, when we turned on the heater, the room filled with smoke, activating the smoke detector. We called the front desk to report the issue, but no one came to check the situation or offered us a room relocation. We had to keep the door open to ventilate, as the room had no windows that could be opened.
The hotel facilities are quite outdated, and on several occasions, the elevators were blocked by hotel staff using them to transport work materials, which forced us to take the stairs, even though we were on a high floor.
Additionally, the internet connection was very poor, and I had to use my phone's data to connect my laptop for work. The mattresses are also extremely worn and uncomfortable.
Lastly, the breakfast options are very limited. Protein choices are restricted to eggs, with an abundance of ultra-processed items, white flours, and sugars. The only available fresh fruits were apples and bananas.

Not sure why some reviews are so low as this hotel served us well for our holiday and was great for the price.
It's in prime location for the parks, offers free WiFi and has lovely staff.
The reception/foh staff were all lovely, along with the housekeeping ladies and the lady working at the bar in the lobby.
The only downside is the lack of choice with the breakfast foods, but overall we were happy with our stay.
Clean room, cleaned every 3 days. Nice small fridge in the room which we used for our drinks, and decent Air con.

The main upside it the location (for Universal, Disneyworld isn't that close), but that's about it.
Rooms a pretty old, brown carpet flooring (why?!), shower looks old, dirty mirrors (but really dirty...), breakfast is pretty much bread and waffles (no fruits, yogurts, 2 cheeses only) and the wifi is so bad.
Overall wouldn't recommend, but cheap and good location.

This place was awful. The shower tub was clogged before I even had the chance to use it. The AC was off when we entered the room, making it extremely humid, and it never cooled down throughout the night. The room smelled like the carpet had never been vacuumed—it was pretty nasty. The TV looks like it’s from the 1980s, and the picture quality is terrible. I tried all the wall outlets to charge my phone, and only one of them worked. Honestly, this place isn't worth a dime. The only positives were the location and the friendly staff, but other than that, it’s disgusting.

I was worried reading through the reviews but this hotel ended up being everything my family and I needed and then some. It was extremely affordable, staff was nice. Breakfast was just fine, if you can’t find something to eat out of the whole spread they put out the problem is you, not them. Bartender was so sweet and nice, same with all the housekeeping ladies. Proximity to the universal parks, restaurants and gift shops is on point. Walk or short Uber ride to everything. Icon park was really cool too. The pool is beautiful and kept well. The lake has amazing sunrises, yes it needs a good cleaning but that can be overlooked. I didn’t find it necessary to splurge on the rooftop pool as the lakeside pool is just as nice. The room was just fine too, a standard room with a fridge and microwave which was convenient for us. I instacarted a case of water, some soda and easy macaroni and cheese for the kids. Don’t let the bad reviews keep you away. Some people you just can’t please!
