Great location. Great accommodation. Maid service every day. Very clean. Book private transfer to get to places rather than taxi. Much cheaper. Zoomarine is a great place to visit for anyone. It has pirate and dolphin show plus rides and a pool.

We had a great stay. The location is perfect right at the beach, city center at 15min walk. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Cleaning was done daily. Cant really think of anything that was not in order, would love to come back for sure. 5 stars from me 😀

Great apartments, we have a one bedroom apartment as was told they have 2 cooking rings so when I arrived and we had 4 I was over the moon 😀 Apartments are cleaned and fresh towels daily - absolutely amazing job. There's a small shop on the complex that sells a good range of things and cooks fresh bread each day. There are 3 pools, although a warning- the main pool is 2.5m deep the whole way across (no shallow end). I think there should be a visible warning put up for this for the less confident swimmers. Loungers aren't a problem to get, usually fairly quiet around the pool. Luckily not many people were trying to reserve them. We'd usually get to the pool for about 10am and could pretty much take our pick of all the loungers. The pool bar opens anywhere from 11.30- 12.30 and shuts at from around 5-6pm as it's the same staff that does the breakfast and dinner service in the restaurant- Pedro and Daniel do a fab job. Aldi and Lidl are a 35min walk away/ 5mins in car and Praia da Rocha is a 15min walk where it is more lively. The beach is very busy but there is a great restaurant just on the right-hand side as you go down to the beach. Overall a fab place to stay and I would come back again.

Room was clean and the pull out couch wasn't too bad. Loved being so close to the beach and the walking path. We used the little shop that is on the premise a few times for snacks. The indoor pool was amazing, spent so much time there. Not sure if the water was 28 degrees but it didn't take too long to get use to the water. But the outdoor pool was hands down the coldest pool ever (and not in a refreshing way after a long hot day in the sun). We were there the last weekend in May. Really wish they had invested in a heated pool. Never put more than a toe in the big pool. Even the kids shallower pool was an iceberg. Luckily the indoor pool saved the experience.

Ravel

The hotel is very close to the beach and the Pools are good. However the food was extremly bland, covered in koriander and overal lacking in options. Hot meals were served lukewarm at best. Dinner tables are set with drinking glasses but no drinks were included, not even water. You had to order drinks seperatly which is done by bringing you a new glass with your drink order meaning there were always unused mystery glasses on each table. Furthermore the drinks menu had both dinner and breakfast options listed and staff refused to bring out drinks from the menu not corresponding to the mealtime (for example no Juices during dinner). Lastly the staff would play music trough the speakers (loudly) connecting their personal phones so you would even hear their social app pings from messages, and they would stand close behind you, watching, waiting for you to empty a plate so it could be taken away making us feel rushed. We used the hotel as a base to explore the area but it wasn't something we would recommend.
