Fantastic hotel. Very central, lovely staff and extremely clean. Would definitely recommend a pool view as you get lots of sun and often a sea view. Will definitely be back!

The staff have been amazing and helpful with everything from left luggage to
booking trips. The room was a deluxe and was massive there was more space than 2 people could need.
As for location it is perfect 5 minutes to the beach and in the middle between the old town and the strip both around a 15-20 minute walk.

The apartment was roomy and had everything you needed. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond. We loved the traditional details such as0 dark wood, mirrors and ceramic tiles, it was well maintained and spotless. Great indoor and outdoor pool (brrr cold!) Diane Weston.

Booked for our 40th anniversary. Hotel is very clean and quiet, except for a couple of days where work was being done up top and the drilling noise was really annoying with no notice of this happening. Our room was at the back and we could hear trolleys being trundled over the cobblestones which was quite noisy as well. The room has a TV, kettle, toaster, cooker (no oven) and a microwave which wasn't working.
The staff were really friendly and very helpful. A huge shout out to the guy on the desk (sorry I didn't get his name) for booking us on a boat trip to the caves and also getting us a taxi. He explained exactly where to go and what to look for.
Right next door to Briso Sol is the Riviera restaurant with a patisserie. This was incredible and very reasonably priced. Really popular with visitors and locals
Two minutes walk away is the local mall with a brilliant supermarket on two floors, eateries up top and various stores.
Across the road is a great choice of restaurants but be aware you have to climb stairs to get to them.
The old town is about a 30 minute walk. Again, be aware it's all downhill so you have quite a climb to get back. There are loads of shops, cafes and restaurants to choose from but I found a lot of the shops sold similar goods.

We really enjoyed our stay at Brisa Sol in Portugal this winter. Our apartment was large with a good layout. The balcony had a great view of the ocean. Although the hotel is older, it is well kept and very clean. A 10-15 minute downhill walk will get you to the ocean. I was happy to find that both closets were well stocked with premium hangers.
We found the staff at the front desk to be very friendly, happy and so willing to help. Klayton, Juan, Milene, Fernando, and Rodrigo greeted us each time we passed through the lobby. Each one was most willing to help us with our needs and was fluent in English. Joao (John) who worked evenings, was eager to help. We got to meet Sandra, in Reservations, and wish we would have had the chance to meet the rest of this great staff, Neuza and Poalo. Pol, an IT specialist, came to our room, minutes after we called, to help us with the internet.
We appreciated that our room was tidied well every day. We got to know Anabella who cleaned our room five days each week. She was exceptional.
We really enjoyed the Riviera, a restaurant and bakery which is a part of Brisa Sol.
It was very convenient to have a large grocery store right next door. There was also a food court upstairs offering some good options. We found several good restaurants within walking distance.
We felt our apartment to be a reasonable price and offered
good value. We would highly recommend Brisa Sol as a relaxing holiday and escape from the Canadian winters.
