This was the first holiday in a number of years. We couldn't have found a more perfect hotel. It was close to both the Strip and the Old Town both within walking distance but a little hilly. There was a supermarket and fast food place very close to the hotel so if your are doing self-catering you will have plenty of choice.
It was my birthday and I received a bottle of Cava from the hotel management. We will go back again. Loved it.

Booked for our 40th anniversary. Hotel is very clean and quiet, except for a couple of days where work was being done up top and the drilling noise was really annoying with no notice of this happening. Our room was at the back and we could hear trolleys being trundled over the cobblestones which was quite noisy as well. The room has a TV, kettle, toaster, cooker (no oven) and a microwave which wasn't working.
The staff were really friendly and very helpful. A huge shout out to the guy on the desk (sorry I didn't get his name) for booking us on a boat trip to the caves and also getting us a taxi. He explained exactly where to go and what to look for.
Right next door to Briso Sol is the Riviera restaurant with a patisserie. This was incredible and very reasonably priced. Really popular with visitors and locals
Two minutes walk away is the local mall with a brilliant supermarket on two floors, eateries up top and various stores.
Across the road is a great choice of restaurants but be aware you have to climb stairs to get to them.
The old town is about a 30 minute walk. Again, be aware it's all downhill so you have quite a climb to get back. There are loads of shops, cafes and restaurants to choose from but I found a lot of the shops sold similar goods.

Do not stay here if u have kids we stayed for 10 nights. Yes I know its october and out of season but no entertainment! Bar not open till 4pm. Only breakfast served in the restaurant, not an issue as we eat out everynight. They charge €15 euro to play football on the court its ridiculous. Even when it is not in use! Nothing to do for kids. Indoor pool is dirty. Will not return.

Great hotel, very modern with good amenities. Had a self catering 1 bedroom apartment. Great view of the pool and sea, very polite staff and excellent location for Albufeira Old Town. Lots of sun loungers by the pool, a restaurant and bar are included. Indoor pool along with a gym and massages available. Next door to a well known patisserie with beautiful cakes.

Comfortable and clean rooms with ample space. Decent facilities and a short (hill) walk to the beach and town with good amenities nearby so well situated. Tourist train stopped just outside the hotel and taxis and Tuk-Tuks easily available, so well linked by transport.
