Fabulous hotel .couldn't fault the accommodation. The pool is beautiful, very cold .my sister and I went bed and breakfast. Unfortunately, the location is very remote we both are happy walking but restaurants were sparse . There is a bus route but we never saw one bus on our stay .we used the shuttle bus service, which was a god send .staff on the whole were very helpful .I would say this hotel is very much suited to older people .I'm in my sixties and found it to quiet as I prefer more to do .

Fabulous hotel: modern, well-equipped, and offering great facilities. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, both outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a Finnish sauna, and a steam room. Extensive breakfast buffet, friendly staff, a quiet environment, and ample parking spaces.

Although a lovely hotel, it's a bit out of the way from the main centre and requires a bit of walking to the a bar or restaurants. However, the closest restaurant (Restaurante O Marinheiro) a literally 5 minute walk, is one of the best I've eaten while abroad. At the hotel there's scope for improvement of basic provisions. For example, there's no tea or coffee making facilitates in the rooms. If you want a tea or coffee, you have to wait for the restaurant to open. Also the pool bar shuts at 18:00, missing a trick for people who would like a drink outdoors in the fresh air. The rooms are meticulously cleaned every day. The hotel cleaning staff work their socks off. The outdoor pool is bl**dy freezing. The restaurant food 'could be better'. Definitely a hotel for the older person, or couples. Not much around for the young un's unless you get a cab in to the main town. Beware, unless you get a private cab, the airport transfer time is about 1.45 hours - which is way too long. The bed pillows have been filled with golf balls! or so it seemed. They were god awful.

Not the best place to stay. Its expensive food is basic, service is kinda rude and rooms are not the cleanest. Very loud until late most nights. I will not come back here. If it wasnt for german tourist it would be more enjoyable and easier to get a chair outside before they place their towel and run to shove their breakfast down their throat.
