What we liked: • The breakfast was good, with a wide variety of good-quality options. • The room was spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax. • The terrace with sunbeds was a great place to unwind during the day. • Taxis were easy to get, either already available or quickly arranged by the reception. What we didn’t like: • The room lacked basic necessities like a trash can, tissues, bottled water, and a kettle. These small details would have made the stay much more comfortable. • The room felt chilly at night since there was no heating system, which made it uncomfortable during cooler nights. • Cleaning wasn’t thorough. The sheets were changed daily, but the floors and bathrooms weren’t cleaned properly, which was disappointing. • There was a strong bad smell coming from the bathroom sink, which also had a leakage issue. Even after reporting it, the problem wasn’t resolved. • The hotel’s location is fine, but reaching nearby areas involves a long walk around the golf course. A shorter, more direct path would save a lot of time and effort. • Some staff members were helpful, but others were not very friendly, which made the experience less pleasant.

Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and great views. Where things are let down is the quality of the breakfast, the so called bacon is a mushed compacted donor kebab type substance, the sausage are hot dogs and there is always big queues for fried eggs and omelette. The experience at breakfast is quite manic and in my opinion needs managing better. But all said the hotel is safe and secure and has a good feel about the place. Would i go back again ? Yes, but just have fruit and cheese for breakfast 😏

Huge place with very little directions within unless you are a good map reader (you get a map at check-in). Rooms are very big but not much furniture, so feels empty and echoes but we had a good sleep anyways. Bathroom is quite nice. There is a Spa that is open 10 to 18 daily but closed on Sundays which is a disappointment because we came for a weekend, checked in around 4pm on Saturday and so you have about 2h for Spa and then Sunday it's all closed. Also, the Spa is a separate business, so you have to pay to enter. There is a games room near the lobby, it's nice, it has multiple pool tables, video games, table tennis, boxing machine etc. There is evening entertainment on the big stage also near the lobby.

Had a retirement 3 day party with 16 of us staying at the Gara Suites. The rooms and views of the golf course were perfect. Breakfast was superb every morning with plenty of choice and tasty. Pool was fantastic-large,clean and safe with a lifeguard on duty all day. Every staff member we interacted with was helpful and friendly. The bar prices were pretty reasonable and the handy wee shop onsite sold almost everything you could need-apart from beer! It is a wee bit out of town but it's only a 20 min walk to the centre or 5 mins in a €5 taxi. Overall, we loved the Gara Suites and would recommend them to anybody.

The check in was very basic and there was no information provided in the room. The rooms are outdated and not well maintained, the photos on providers websites don’t reflect them in a true light. We stayed here for a week and we are sure the floor in the room was never cleaned….. by the last couple of days when you got out or the shower your feet would be straight back to being dirty, same with socks. It’s a shame some of the staff let the really lovely ones down. There’s one lady who needs to learn customer service, we actually came to resent if she was the one on any of the areas. In the room we got a kettle and two cups but no tea or coffee which is usually included….. and if not you’re told. When we queried this they said no you have to just get it at the bar. If you need to use an iron/ironing board you have to request this and pay a deposit, the iron was rubbish. We booked for breakfast to be included and felt it was just average, a small hot selection and then the usual cold meats etc. On the first night we arrived late so decided to pay for the tea buffet that some book as all inclusive, the sign said Italian, it was cold pizza, dry pasta and random cold sauces, I would definitely say it’s not worth adding it on. The pool area is a nice size however because it’s surrounded by the hotel you don’t get a lot of sun. It’s about a 20 minute walk to get right to the front, about 10-15 mins to the first bars/shops/restaurants. There’s usually a couple of taxis that charge between 6-8 euro depending on where you’re wanting to go. To Costa Adeji we paid 15 euro. Please note there isn’t a cut through so you have to walk around the golf course to get anywhere.
