What a wonderful find this place was! A last minute deal to escape the weather in what we thought was going to be a basic cheap and cheerful hotel but how wrong we were. We had a spotlessly clean, large apartment with a double balcony and sea views. The staff are absolutely amazing and make you feel like part of the family. The food and drinks are so cheap and the facilities are great. There are 2 pools ( one adult only) with plenty of sunbeds available. It has been one of the best holidays we've had and have met some lovely people, we will be back here again without a doubt! Brilliant team and I cannot fault a single thing about Neptuno.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The first impression came from the rude staff in the reception. We were immediately asked to pay 100 € extra as a deposit. I don't know if this is common on the island, but I've never heard of it. They then asked me if I would like to have a copy, that states I paid the 100€, to which I luckily said yes. When we left, they didn't mention the deposit and just said bye. I asked if I can have my money back, the guy at the reception looked annoyed and asked if I have the receipt. It looks like they hope people forget about it.
The room was superficially clean, but after closer inspection, I found human hair and some mould. The furniture is old and worn down. There's not even shower gel or dish soap. The second bedroom doesn't have a window.
There's no Air-conditioning and it can be very warm on Tenerife. There's the option to rent a fan for 40€...... also there's a sign on the balcony door, that says we should keep it closed at night for safety....
So no AC and no fresh air at night.....
What kind of hotel closes the pool at 5 in the afternoon??
The hotel is very loud, a lot of drunk tourists come back from partying and shout in the middle of the night. In the valley, where the hotel is located, there's about 1000 rooms.
I would generally suggest staying away from Adeje, if you're looking for some peace on vacation, but that was our fault, for not getting well enough informed. The area really looks like it was created for the people that just want to eat and get drunk with warmer temperatures.

Very affordable accomodation. Parking can be an issue as most cars are parked on the street. Please do not park in the middle of the small roundabout at the end of the street. The hotel does offer dedicated parking, but they charge €8 per day, or €40 per week.
They also need a €60 deposit in CASH. (I assume for the garage keys)
The rooms were mediocre, without air-conditioning and our room didn't even have a window. This can get very bad when it's hot.
We also saw lots of dead cockroaches in the outside area. Luckily none got in our room, but we did hear a lady complaining at the reception about cockroaches.
The hotel does have a swimming pool, pool bar, and serves food.
Recommended if you're on a tight budget.
Otherwise, spend a bit more and get a decent room.

Second time staying here and certainly won’t be my last! Absolutely love staying at Neptuno! We had a fabulous sea view room which caught the sun all day! Room was spotless and cleaned numerous times over our stay, we stayed for 10 days and could not fault our stay! Pool area is spotless and the grounds throughout, we enjoy the walk down the hill to the beach and made the most of the walk back up at night, never a issue getting a bed by the pool, lady working at the pool bar is lovely and remembered us from last time(can’t remember her name) the reception and cleaning staff were all very welcoming and friendly can’t wait to return!

Stayed here for 1 week as a couple. Checked in late as our flight was late. We were obviously given the last room available…CR3 which we only realised on our last day was a room for changing before your flight. We had never been to this hotel before but walked in and immediately noticed it looked nothing like the photos on the website, was boiling hot and no ventilation due to it being right next to the pool having no privacy to leave even a window open whilst we were out to cool the room down, also was a sofa made out into a bed which was very uncomfortable to sleep in and was right next to the communal toilets for the pool which stank!! Went to reception to see if there was anything that could be done and was told they were fully booked and could not accommodate another room for us, the receptionist was very unhelpful didn’t try to accommodate us in any way, other than to rent a fan for €40 for the week!! We decided to stay with the room and rent the fan as we weren’t in the position to move hotels.
A couple of days in we decided to head to a water park which we asked reception to ring us a taxi, we waited for 20 mins before asking if the taxi was on its way to which we were greeted with the very unpleasant gentleman on the reception who said we will just have to wait as they are busy, so we waited, an hour went past before we went and asked again to which he then told us he hadn’t even rang a taxi for us!! No apology from him at all again.
On a good note, the bar staff are lovely!! The breakfast was tasty and the location and views from this hotel are amazing!!
Would not let this experience stop us from visiting Tenerife again but would definitely NOT stay in this hotel again!!
