We arrived here on the 8th Dec 2025. We were disappointed because of the steps to our apartment but the lifeguard stepped in and carried the 2 cases to the 2th floor. But once we entered the apartment number 35 everything was as advised a spacious superior apartment. The views are great. We are a couple of young 80 years so the steps around the apartment are a bit of a challenge but worth it. The walk down to the bars and restaurants takes us 20 to 30 mins and a little longer back up the hill. Lol. The staff are really happy to help. Over all we are really happy with our choice. We have used the Neptuno for at least 13 years and we have had some great holidays. This year we stayed for all of November and we were consistently disappointed with the room cleaning (almost non done at times and a spray round the room to make it smell as if it had been cleaned). the walkways and pool area were dirty for all of our stay, we have not had any problem like this on previous stays. The pool bar has the same limited menu that it had 13 years ago and it cannot cope at busy times, it needs a serious rethink. Sadly I do not think that we will return.

We didn’t have high expectations due to 3stars but we were positively surprised! The room 116 was freshly decorated and the view was the best part of the apartment, we spent most of our time on the balcony. Btw best price and best room is given if you book directly via their website. You get sun from morning till sunset so the direction of the hotel/balcony is perfect with a view of Costa Adeje. It is up the hill but its not a long walk up, only about 20 mins from the promenade and the steep hill is only for the last 5 mins of the walk. There is a an electric scooter parking nearby so we also used that to come up the hill. Supermercado supermarket close to the apartment. For a couple in 30s like us, it was perfect for quick December gate away. One thing to note is that they don’t do beach/pool towel hire so you got to bring your own.

It's mostly acceptable here. The San Miguel is €3 per pint so pretty good. The food at the pool bar is also acceptable, and the pricing is reasonable. The pool bar staff are brilliant.
There's plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and the hill isn't so bad really.
Costa Adeje is a fabulous resort with plenty of choices of excursions, activities and night entertainment.
The cleaners are all friendly.
The pools are fine, although the main pool is a bit chilly. The smaller adult only heated pool area is a great option. You can always get a sunbed.
Pool table and darts at the main pool area then a nice chilled inside area with another pool table and table tennis.
Launderette, and a gym.
The rooms are pretty good, but need an oven, or an air fryer. We're getting by with chicken steaks, pork steaks, sausages, bacon etc. Then omlettes, scrambled egg, ham, cereal, cheese, toast etc. So it's ok, but more than a week would get challenging if you're not eating out.
No A/C is not great as it gets warm and stuffy at night. Fans should be free really as you need the airflow, especially in the middle bedroom, maybe a deposit in case they are irresponsibly damaged.
Overrall it's ok. I'd probably come back here, but not in the Summer, it'd be seriously uncomfortable at night.
Three stars is about right. There's nothing really to complain about as you're paying for a three star holiday.
Update: This is because whoever is responsible for running this place obviously hasn't got much of a clue how to keep their customers happy. The bar is closed tonight. Saturday night!! The reason: someone is ill. Unacceptable. The lady and gentleman that have been running for pool bar have been here for 7 days. No rest. And they do a marvelous job, on their own, of keeping everyone in food and drink with a smile. It must be hard work. Why on Earth isn't there cover 🤷🏼♂️

We stayed at Neptuno the past week. We found it comfortable and clean. After reading reviews I was scared we’d be up in the mountains the way people spoke about location. The location is not bad at all. 15 minute walk into town. The walk back was up a steep hill but this is very short. There is a scooter pick up right outside the hotel which was very useful to zip up and down. There is a shop (SuperDino) about 5 min walk away. The pool area was clean and nice. The biggest downside for us was the air conditioning (-1 star). When we tried to rent a fan they didn’t have any left so we went to the shop and bought one (which was cheaper than they were renting them out for). We may have been lucky with only having neighbours for two days. Overall, it was very good for the price! You get what you pay for. Thank you Neptuno. I would stay again.
