Second time staying here and certainly won’t be my last! Absolutely love staying at Neptuno! We had a fabulous sea view room which caught the sun all day! Room was spotless and cleaned numerous times over our stay, we stayed for 10 days and could not fault our stay! Pool area is spotless and the grounds throughout, we enjoy the walk down the hill to the beach and made the most of the walk back up at night,never a issue getting a bed by the pool, lady working at the pool bar is lovely and remembered us from last time(can’t remember her name) the reception and cleaning staff were all very welcoming and friendly can’t wait to return!

The hotel is laying on hillside, so evidently you will have to get ready for sine hike home or drive/taxi but definitely worth it for the view from the room! The hotel is genuinely clean, housekeeping comes regularly, and they spray well often to keep all cockroach away and out of the apartment. (Stayed before the island and my hotel room was full of them…) So this is definitely a plus! But related service this is pretty much why the 2 star plus. Unfortunately the hotel “bar” area is very outdated, and the pool area not so welcome overall. On pictures gives different feeling. Fair enough for the price but still, for a 3 star hotel (other places I stayed) you’d get more option as a bar. The main pool is okay, but a bit small compared to others in the area and closes latest 8pm… The heated pool….not heated. Same temperature as the other one, so you basically have another smaller pool.(Like small-small) And the Main reason for Services 2star: - the “Laundry service “ don’t even bother. Very basic, very old, very outdated machines, (I would literally sell it for parts maximum) and smells… wanted to use it but when saw it and that it wants to charge 4€ wash and €3 dry each load that was hideous. Please refurbish the laundry area, the whole of it, outdated, dark, dump, smelly, just unpleasant. Wouldn’t cost much, but could increase value,satisfaction and you could increase your service price. Genuinely was okay and worth it stay, that’s why the 4/5 star and recommendation, but wanted to give the reality. Also, Check in from 3pm and check out by 11, even tho everywhere says different. Be prepared for €100 deposit, but without any issues you get it refunded. We got ours within 24hours. Was a great time in total as we didn’t spent much time at the hotel, but for the purpose we needed it, and cost, was worth it, and would recommend if you need budget friendly accommodation.

Nice place and very reasonably priced. The apartments are a little dated but have everything you need, and when the weather is great all year round you won’t spend too much time inside. Great pool area with a well priced bar with snacks etc. There are shops and a small supermarket within walking distance but the town centre is about a 20 minute walk away and it’s a very steep hill on the way back, be prepared for a calf workout, especially after a few beers.

So, we had room 81 which was in the perfect, quiet spot. However we still had dramas from other partying drunk young people. Cockroaches are a common thing in Tenerife, unfortunately, and we were lucky not to find a single one but we could hear them outside... I gave up hoping for any hotels from booking.com to be clean and this was the same issue, but we just cleaned it ourselves. Sounds stupid but at least I know it was done right ... I would definitely consider coming back to this hotel as we had an overall lovely stay, we just hadn't exaggerated expectations... The swimming pool officially closes at 6pm, meaning that nobody watches it. So what happens in the swimming pool after 6pm stays in the swimming pool... And that's a lot of drama :D

Stayed here for 1 week as a couple. Checked in late as our flight was late. We were obviously given the last room available…CR3 which we only realised on our last day was a room for changing before your flight. We had never been to this hotel before but walked in and immediately noticed it looked nothing like the photos on the website, was boiling hot and no ventilation due to it being right next to the pool having no privacy to leave even a window open whilst we were out to cool the room down, also was a sofa made out into a bed which was very uncomfortable to sleep in and was right next to the communal toilets for the pool which stank!! Went to reception to see if there was anything that could be done and was told they were fully booked and could not accommodate another room for us, the receptionist was very unhelpful didn’t try to accommodate us in any way, other than to rent a fan for €40 for the week!! We decided to stay with the room and rent the fan as we weren’t in the position to move hotels. A couple of days in we decided to head to a water park which we asked reception to ring us a taxi, we waited for 20 mins before asking if the taxi was on its way to which we were greeted with the very unpleasant gentleman on the reception who said we will just have to wait as they are busy, so we waited, an hour went past before we went and asked again to which he then told us he hadn’t even rang a taxi for us!! No apology from him at all again. On a good note, the bar staff are lovely!! The breakfast was tasty and the location and views from this hotel are amazing!! Would not let this experience stop us from visiting Tenerife again but would definitely NOT stay in this hotel again!!
