Lovely stay with warm checkin and a big thanks to Imane from the guest service who took care of us and our daughter.
Only negative point is l’Olivier restaurant where service was not the one you would expect in this kind of 5* hotel and with these prices. Waiters not organised, service quality depending on your origin (several times got served after people who arrived later than us… or had to ask several time for the menu)
Same experience at the bar while suchis were excellent but waiters completely disorganised and not in a good mood)
Despite this the Suite was perfect, room service excellent, golf car driver cautious, ontime and always smilling. Cleaning staff wonderful. The hotel is lovely and quite, located outside Marrakech which makes it a little paradise compared to the noisy Jemaa Ifna place and Marrakech city centre

It was our second stay at the Fairmont Royal Palm, because 2 years ago we had such a magical time we came again. It did not disappoint. The friendliest staff we have ever encountered in all our many trips around the world. Beautiful setting, calm and relaxed atmosphere, great food and drinks, best in class service…everything you think of when you think 5 star luxury - but with the addition of the wonderful people. Ahmed, The Breakfast King, Flan and Adil the Poolside Bar Staff and all the golf buggy drivers made our experience particularly magical - their interactions with our 2 young children was something we will never forget.

The property itself is exceptionally large, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. We booked a premium mountain view room only to find the mountains were nowhere in sight. What we did get were mosquitos—relentless in the rooms and a constant irritation throughout our stay.
The service was shockingly poor for a Fairmont. From check-in to the pool, bar, and restaurant, the experience was consistently disappointing. It was easily the worst service I’ve encountered at any Fairmont property worldwide. Ironically, the only team that provided true 5-star service were the golf cart drivers, who stood out for their professionalism and courtesy.
As a celiac, I was particularly alarmed by the lack of understanding around food allergies. At a property of this reputation and caliber, I expected a clear, informed approach to dietary restrictions. Instead, gluten was served to me on two separate occasions, and only by questioning dishes a second time was a crisis avoided. That is unacceptable for a hotel marketing itself at this level.
Overall, the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech failed to meet even basic expectations, let alone deliver a 5-star experience.

We stayed at the fairmont Marrakech, and only one word ‘WOW’. This hotel has it all. A special thankyou to Ghita & Mira! They were always one whatsapp away! Also the houskeeping, the hotel is spotless. Everything is so clean! The spa, they are so kind and make you feel at home to relax to the fullest. The restaurants were very good, in the Maroccan restaurant, there worked a lady, she breaths hospitality, I think here name was Myriam! And also the poolstaff were amazing, especially Mouad! We will be back! Marie, Charlotte and Anne-Sophie

The Royal Palm Marrakech clearly places customer service and guest experience at the heart of its offer. Staff were consistently warm, transparent, and generous with their advice, which made our stay truly enjoyable.
We dined in-house four nights in a row, trying all the restaurants. Service was excellent across the board. While the variety is appreciated, some menu items could be elevated - in particular, the sushi and tempura didn’t quite meet the standard we’re used to in cities like London or Paris. The Moroccan restaurant was a standout, and the breakfast/brunch buffet was a highlight as well. That said, at this price point, additional à la carte or lighter breakfast options would be welcome.
Given the high temperatures during our stay, I would recommend offering complimentary infused water throughout the property, which would be a thoughtful and refreshing touch. We did appreciate the provision of bottled water via room service throughout our stay.
The view from our room - overlooking the golf course and Atlas Mountains - was breathtaking and added to the sense of escape.
One small point to flag: the €65 charge for the hotel’s airport transfer felt steep, especially when compared to local private, air-conditioned transport which is typically €20, including luggage.
Overall, a memorable and high-end stay with a few opportunities to refine the guest experience even further.
